Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's give around the aplause in the zoom room. It's
looking the building, baby dude, Love Island All Stars bro
back for a second round. I guess we should first
start with, like, how was the experience this time different
from the first time?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
This experience, I can't explain it.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Like, going into it, I was so nervous, I am
I was so away from that world after the two
and a half three years that I wasn't kind of
away with how long I was away from the villa,
So going back I was nervous, and all just kind
of made me feel so safe and sure that it
was the right decision.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And the longer it went on, the better the experience became.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
The first week or two I was a bit like,
oh what am I doing here?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
But after a week I kind of got settled in,
came up Michelle, and yeah, I'm glad that everyone got
to see the real meer this time.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, that's what I was going to ask. Do you
feel like you were able to be a little more comfortable?
You know, you were definitely a little bit more vulnerable
this time around. We saw it on some of the episodes.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
You know, do you know, like the vulnerable side just
came because going in there, I was so unsure and
I walked in and I kind of felt like there
was no one there for me, not even in my age,
like I think nearly everyone was above thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
So I was struggling straight away. But by my mum.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Reminded me today, she said, the last thing you said
was like, please make sure like my sister's okay, because
my sister was running my socials and last time coming
out there was there was some obviously there was like
she got some not nice comments and it affected her
a lot more than it did me, and I was
I was worried leaving her again and being in there
a week and kind of not feeling anything, and I

(01:49):
kind of felt like the weight of like my family
and my friends who said to do it was on
my shoulders and it just wasn't happening. And then yeah,
that's probably why you saw the break down, and I
think everyone was kind of staying artists because there wasn't
a girl in there. But there was a lot more
behind it in terms of what why I was like
why I felt like that, But and going back, it

(02:11):
brings back a lot of memories as well. You know, yeah,
but after Grace walked in, it kind of was literally like.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
To the moon.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
So before I before I let one of my my
friends in the room here, you know, ask a question
I've got to ask. So, if your sister was doing
your socials, who was truly responsible for you in the
hospital with the knee brace and the caption the ed
shearing quote, Bro, was that you or was that sister.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
To do that again? When I was that before Love Island,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
When I when I first on my knee that I
put that you can't walk like yeah, well you were
laced with the own work.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Like it used too.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, that was me, very, that was you.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
That was me, nearly everything else was her land. In
that hospital bed, you wanted a bit of sympathy, and
I thought, let's make a bit of fun.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Come on, Lauren, hop in here. Family.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
I know you were talking about your family who I
fell in love with. I love your sister. I follow
her on TikTok Now, I was.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Like my sister that sits like this every time.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
I loved it.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
Speaking of like in terms of like your family meeting Grace,
have they met.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
They've met already, We've been back twenty four hours. We
had dinner last night together.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
It was a late dinner, and then we had breakfast
my mom, my sister and Grace again this morning. And
my sister is in London with me and Grace now
as well.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Oh my god, you have plans to meet Grace's family
as well.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah, they actually gone straight to ancona.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
So there there aboard at a minute.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
But as soon as they get back, me and Grace
are going to head up to me there with you.
By the way, she's in the other room. We got
two rooms. I'll get her at the end. I'll get
her at the end to say.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
He lo, okay, perfect.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
And I know you found love this time like you
did as well previous But what in terms of you had,
Like what made you say I'm going to come back
this year? Like what made you say this is the
time for me to come back to Love Island.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
They treated me to a millk zuomer, So I just
couldn't I just couldn't say no.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
After that, I was in but no.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
From the first chat with the creative director Mike Mike Spencer,
I just kind.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Of knew that it was the right thing to do.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
And friends, family were saying it for the last one,
I do it, do it like it'll be fun, like
we want to see you back on Teddy And it
just wasn't the right time. But having the chat this time,
and I don't know what it was, it all I
regret week one. I was definitely questioning why I've done it,
But after that it was it was so it was

(04:48):
the best experience of my life and so much better
than the first one, so much better, especially this time.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
You know what you're walking into.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, and there's so many memorable faces and I've created
so many good memories in one place.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And yeah, it felt special to you that to.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Be able to say, uh, sorry about that, Laura, but
to be able to say that you were able to
share these moments with friends.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Now you know you're part of an.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Exclusive fraternity sorority, you know of a select handful of people. Yeah,
what's that like to know that you have people that
you can lean on to ask for help.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
To know experience you have friends, Like can you build
such a relationship because you go through something you've.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Never done before.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, but you kind of have a whirlwind where you're
not used to this world and you kind of all
get separated, and it's hard to staying in contact this
time coming out.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I really want to.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Stay in contact with some of the people I met
and there I made sisters, I made brothers, and it
was a pleasure to share a villa with them, and
I think you treasures their friendship so much more this time.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Well to that question, you know, if you know down
the line, and not trying to put it on you
and Grace's plate right now, but you know, wedding bills
and all that stuff, anybody in the cast that you
can think of would be a part of the wedding party.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Maybe a groomsman, maybe.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
The finalists will be there all the like. Honestly, like
before the final, you spend a lot of time off
camera while they're getting ready for everything. It's only a
few days, but you're in a different You leave the
biller as well, like the day of the final, and
you go to a hotel and it just feels like
a little bubble between you and the rest of the
final list, and we start speaking a lot more open

(06:26):
and freely because you're off Mike, And yeah, I say
every single finalist. I'd say Ron would be there as well.
Tina Chugs and Grace's big fans of both of them,
and so am I And yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Think they'd be a lot like that was the start
of our venture and them guys were part of it.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
That's so rad.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Oh my gosh, we gotta we gotta dive into just
some of the some of the minute things.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
And does it ever get normal having cameras following you
around everywhere?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
For men? Not for me? In there?

Speaker 3 (07:02):
I was probably if you ask anyone, I was probably
the naughty one that was always trying to find a
way out or a place that was off camera, like
even trying to sneak into the toilets with some of
the boys and chuck our mics off just to have
a conversation about something we didn't want film. You definitely
always know they're there, especially if you forget that there there,

(07:23):
someone shouts from the ceiling like stop doing that or
do this, Like so yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Don't forget I would.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I would imagine that the only place that's safe is
if you somehow figured out sign language underwater, like that's
the only thing.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Even then, the cameras like.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Will be on you and you're and I think we
had a producer come in the villa before or my
first series, and me and a friend were in there
talking and.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
They because they can't hear you as well, if.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
They came in to the villa and stood by the
pool and as you came in, we went underwaters front
to the other end, and then we come up and
then he'd walk to the other end and then we
swim down.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
So anything just to have a bit of fun.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
And like just to break a bit of the rules,
you know, I don't know. I think when you put
an adult in there that's kind of been doing what
they want in their life recently, doesn't have anyone doing
telling them what to do since they were at school
or spoke to their mum.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Like, it's just so unnatural. So we do everything we
can to try and have a bit of freedom.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Don't blame you, go for it, Lauren.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Yeah, I mean I want to go back to you
and you were talking about your friends. I mean, I
feel like this was really special because you were able
to have Harriet in there this time. What would you
think having her in there? I mean, you guys have
been friends since you were like babies.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Right, Do you know what me and Grace were talking
about this last night because we drove past the school,
Me and Harry went two together, and she said, how
weird is it that you two were like thirteen fourteen
at school together and you'd be such a big part
of my life like you.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
It was mad. Harriet walked in and I found out
she kissed me.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I wanted to be sick, but other than that, it
was it was good to see her in there.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
And it's so nice that Grace had her best.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Mate in there, and we're like brother and sister. That
the little arguments we had, we knew it would we'd
smooth over quickly. I imagine for the other Islanders they
didn't realize that. But no, I have so much love
for Harriet and all her family.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Do you feel like the show impacted your friendship in
any way in terms of good bad?

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Now it's the exact same, the exact same. And I'm
so happy for her and Ronnie. I really see them
work in this time and they learned a lot from
the first experience. Like I said, you go for a while,
whin and to come back six months later and be
able to rekindle that and have.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
It all to start again is special.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
And another friend that you also came in with was Ekan.
What was it like in terms of when Ekin and.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Green Eikin, Me and Ekin actually knew it was like, oh,
if you do it, I'll do it, but we both
didn't know if we actually really wanted to do it.
And then Ekin was like, oh, I don't know, I
don't know, and then I was like, oh, you got
to do it, and then I'd be like, I don't know,
I don't know, and then this, you know, we filmed

(10:18):
stuff before going in, like your interviews and stuff like that.
Me and Ekin were actually there on the first day.
I found out her code name, Like we were texting
each other and they were just like ITV were like, what,
like who are.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
You trying to hide you?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Because like they coordinate you throughout the rooms to try
and keep you sep for it. But yeah, Ekin to
have her in there, we went through the first experience
together and it felt good like she knew, she knows me.
We know each other so well and we went through
everything together again and we trusted each other's opinions. And
then to be in the final and stood there as

(10:54):
the final three. Yeah, it was kind of surreal. It's
like DejaVu and eking. As soon as Echen was walk
through that door, I think everyone.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
He froze for a sec.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Brings she brings everything to the to what you'd want
to watch on TV.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
If I was going to watch a show, I want
in there.

Speaker 7 (11:16):
You know, that's that's crazy that you say that, because yeah,
to think of the way that you know, a viewer
watches the show, like, yeah, how how strange is that
all of us for twelve econds?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Like she's TV gold and I sit there like on
a sun lounge or wherever and watch her and I
think I'm watching her live and enjoying it. Imagine once
this is broken down and edited. So yeah, she's she's
great to have in there and even better to have
that loyal and trust with like another sister.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
You know.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Yeah, you and you mentioned to stand there, you know,
the final three, you know, and and to be up there,
what's the what's the emotion that really goes down? Because
I mean we as you will see the cuts see this,
but you know how long does it drag out? How?

Speaker 4 (12:03):
You know, how sweaty do the palms get? You know?
How take one in the final? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Yeah, the final you know what like it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Like me and Grace, we didn't have a date or
a hideaway sort of scenario, so we didn't have that
one to one time, so we were kind of like, well,
do the public want to see us one to one?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
We don't.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
We don't know, Like you start guessing stuff in your head.
And when we came out and they will start reading
the names and you hear the crowd cheering. When we
heard the cheer, we were like wow, like what's going
on here? Like and then Curtis was like, bro, like
you guys are going to win, like it was crazy.
And then like you get fifth place, then fourth place,

(12:42):
and you think, oh my god, like what is going on?

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Like this is all stars as.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Well, like this is bigger and better than ever and
you're up there with like great people like Casey, Gabyby Ecking,
Curtis and me and Grace were just happy to be
at the final to experience the whole thing when like
didn't mean anything to us.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
To experience the whole journey, it was special and.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Like we said when we met each other, we won,
but that final is it gets intense and then.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Boom boom boom, and you're just like, say, the name,
might just say it.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
And to hear Casey's name and Gabby's come out, we
were buzzing me and grace them to have been on
such a journey, And yeah, I think they really will
do a lot with it. Like I'm a mute on
social media. Case he is probably the opposite. So I
hope he enjoys it, and I hope he has a
good time with it.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
You know, let's go down some of those like most
likely too, so just saying we know Casey's probably gonna
fire off and stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Let's let's do some most likely twos in the villa.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
So most likely to burn the breakfast too, just could
not cook.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Bro who could not?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Ronnie Ronnie Ronnie put I think he just put a
steak on low heat and like hardly seasoned this.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
So yeah, I'd say Ronnie, all.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Right, most likely to use all the hot water because
they take too damn long in the shower.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
I couldnt even finish the sentence.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Like like his skincare routine, Like I like he's crazy,
Like I would have to wake up at like five
six in the morning to be on time for something
at nine mornings like that man's like self care is
what I want okay, so let me guess.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Was he also the best smelling in the villain.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
I'm the best feeling facts.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Let's go, And what is your fragrance of choice?

Speaker 6 (14:36):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (14:36):
So I can because shower for two hours, you know,
and when you come from working in a fish.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Market, you know what smells good and what smells bad.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
All right, all right, here's another one. Let me flip
back because I wrote down a couple of here. Who
if anyone was absolutely obsessed with Wicked.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Define Gravity? Man, I love it.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
I watched it before coming in and I literally watched
the whole movie to watch the fire and gravity.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Even though it was a last song. I watched it
just to hear that. Who would be like, I'd say.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Harriot, okay, saving holding space like.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
She's into the drama and like dancing, and so yeah,
I'd say Harry.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
And lastly, who was the loudest in the villa?

Speaker 1 (15:19):
You just knew as soon as they stepped out onto
the patio into the room, You're just like, oh, bloody hell,
it's gonna get loud.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Ekin Elmar and Casey like Elma in an argument, ecking.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Like if like just random and Casey when he's making
his bird noises or like pretending to be a dog.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
It just sounds like you guys have so much fun
besides what we get to see on camera.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Yeah, to share those moments and to.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Know that you have a you could have a visual
diary for the rest of your life.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Yeah, I get Yeah, there is some funny moment and
like when you come out and get to see some
of the clips, you really think like, wow, did we
do that?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Was I doing that?

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Like?

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Wow, I must have been bored.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
But no, it's a special experience and there's a lot
of memories you take away and a lot of memories
that I've already forgot that then pop up in our
minds when when something else happened.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Yeah, oh go for it, Lauren, Yeah, okay.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
So I have a few rapid questions as well. Yeah,
say what comes to your mind first? So? What song
do you associate with your time on All Stars this year?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Life is a roller coach? Just got all right? I
love it?

Speaker 5 (16:39):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
What's one thing youres don't know about you or don't
aren't able to see when when you're on the show.

Speaker 8 (16:47):
Oh what they don't see? M I never thought this.
There's two beach hots.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
There's one upstairs, one downstairs, so like if you like,
like now I'm in a beach hut, like and there's another.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Beach hut to talk in. So Chelsea, Chelsea's in the
in the other beach.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Hut talking to a producer. I'm in the other beach
ut getting my beach hut done. Okay, I don't know,
but like that, yeah, beach ups. And I'm trying to
think what else you don't see? So I'm no longer
your Dinner's on TV?

Speaker 5 (17:31):
And then what did you think is gonna win the
season of our stars.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Gabby and Casey?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
And then when eking walks in, I mean Curtis. I
had a bet with Curtis that Ekin would like would
win well then as a couple would win. But as
time grew and they've probably gone into the final week,
I did think Gabby and Casey and.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
Deserve favorite boy because if I could have voted her
favorite boy, Luca, I was such a fan of.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
My Americans not allowed to.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Vote up, bro, it's so messed up. You got our
vote in.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
America as well.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
I was like an island, an island, like what, like
I don't understand, Like why you guys can't vote, but
you can like it's own peacock now, so you should
be one.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Hundred percent, you know what.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I also think I also think that Select Island fans
like us should be invited to the villa in my
Orca during the summer.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
There was a fan like he was such a big
fan and the creative director, Mike, I don't know if
I'm allowed to say, is he actually gave him the
tour around the villa of the night of the final,
which is such a sweet thing and I guess people
won't see it, but that that's a nice touch. So
if you want to do it, maybe send any email
to Mike.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
I was just about to say.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
On it, you know, as we as we begin to
to put a bow on this conversation, man, how how
proud are you of yourself to have been able to,
you know, to go through the experience not once but twice,
but just to be who you are, to be your
truer self and to just know that, you know, by
being you, you were able to find someone who you
genuinely fell head over hills and have a full heart for.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
You know what, for three years I haven't met anyone
or even opened up to anyone or wanted anything. So
just to get that to start to believe in it
all again was special enough. But the whole journey from
making brothers the sisters to waken up and everything's doumb
for you, like you take it all for granted. And yeah,
that's me and Master Chef. Second Love Island, Second Love

(19:31):
Island All Star, Second me and the Number two are
having a problem.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
At the minute.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
I was just about to ask, would you do another
television show you engrace by yourself as long.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
As it doesn't involve second place? Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
I love tell you so much more than the social
media side of things, like I love that being behind
the camera and just being yourself and being an environment
you probably.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Would never be in.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah, yeah, you know how we can how we can
guarantee that we'll get another show with looking here, Let's
just make sure that Becky Hill shows up.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Fam you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Let's performed my first.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
We Honestly, when she came out, I knew so many
songs with Betty Hill.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Yeah, legend, Luca.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Literally, I still think about your excitement when she came
out dancing.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
I didn't stop. I think even when she left, it
was still ringing in my head and.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
I was just carrying one another thing.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
We don't get music in that, we don't get any news. Wow,
Like I struggle with that. Music is like a drug
to me.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
So it's like silent all the time.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Just silent. Oh wow, man, you got Casey Bark. And
then can.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
I ask the question when you guys were doing the
kissing Challenge, you had headphone.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
We got music. We got music, okay, because they didn't.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Want us to hear what girl it was, so they
played music through our headphones. And that was the best
stay I've ever had. Like music through the headphones was
like I just felt like I was in IBFA. It
was unbelievable.
