Speaker 1 (00:00):
Chuck Outs the Power Hour Teasday edition on six ten
Douvel the UTV and this principle at the Ridgeview Middle School.
I just I I normally I'm not like this. I mean,
I think everybody, uh, you know, gets a chance to
make their case. But in this case, the body cam
is pretty much all you need. As far as I'm
concerned that she needs to be fired. She needs to
(00:22):
be fired. She endangered the children in that school. She
endangered the faculty, the staff, everybody in that school. The
police were there to check out a bomb threat, which
turned out, thankfully to be phony. One of the students
will be taken to task for that. But the principal,
(00:42):
the principal of the school, would not allow the police
to be the police and to protect and to serve
the students at Ridgeview Middle School. Wouldn't let them come by,
and had some ridiculous, some ridiculous law line that she
told the police about about. You know, she just doesn't
(01:06):
believe they have her safety in mind. I say, fire her,
Fire her now, Columbus City School's Board of Education, fire
her now most of you are outgoing anyway, Fire her now,
get it done. Fire her now, protect the children above
all else. Forget about politics. Protect the children, or maybe
(01:30):
that's just me. I want to hear from you seriously,
I do. We got a few lines still available eight
two one ninety eight six eight two one WUTV, And
you guys, get in line, get on hold, and I'll
get to you. First. Let's do the final check of
the traffic situation out here from day night, heating and
cooling products and dual mechanical house it in Johnny six
(01:51):
point thirty seven checks. I listen to the Power hour six
ten WTV NA two one ninety eighty six is my
number A two one WTV And I'm talking about this
principle from Ridgeview Middle School who I should be fired
immediately if she has not been already, and not only that,
I believe her credentials for being either an educator or
an administrator in the state of Ohio should be yanked.
(02:14):
When the police officers showed up at Ridgeview because of
a report of a bomb, there was a bomb threat
at the school, Principal Natalie James came into the office
and said, I followed district protocol and the only reason,
let's be honest, I do not feel comfortable even interacting
with you. The body can was rolling. That's what she's
(02:35):
telling them. She would not let the officer come in
and do the officer's job in the face of a
bomb threat. What if your kids were in that school?
What if your kids were in that school? The principal
having such a care and mentality that she scared the
(02:57):
police officers. She doesn't feel he has her best interest
in mind. What what there's a bomb threat in the school.
You're putting your own prejudices in front of the well
being and safety of the student body and your staff
and your faculty. And I say you need to be
canned now two one ninety eight six my number eight
(03:19):
two one wtv and John, you're on six to ten WTVN.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, Chuck.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
What really just serves me is well, first twelve, good job.
Why did they hide it? And why did any of
the local news station's broadcasts? What what's the cover up here?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
This is this all happened back on March thirteenth. Why
we're only hearing about it now is beyond me? And
uh uh you know, I'm I've got the story in
front of me here on the WSYX six websites, so
I know at least they are covering the story. But
let's not forget we also have another story of a
teacher just a week ago that wanted to pay a
kid two grand to kill her husband. Right, we have
(03:57):
some twisted people in education right now?
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Man, Well you say Columbus City schools and that's what.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
You get, am I? I mean, are you in agreement
with me here? John? Do you think she should go
right now? Right? I mean, no, no more quest just
get rid of her right.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Now now, no questions, no no answering, no waiting for
some bull crapp email. You're fired.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
I'm just I'm I'm flabbergasted that you know, you're the
principal of the school, you are the head of the
totem bowl in this school, and your personal issues about
the police. Uh, you endangered the kids and had God
forbid something gone wrong?
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Man?
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Whose response again?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
The word again, the word bomb? Come on, woman? What
are you stupid?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Absolutely? Absolutely, John, Thanks for the call. I appreciate you.
A two one nine and eight six A two one
WU t V And Danny, you're on the Legacy Retirement
Group dot com phone lines.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
You know, I'm how silent that the Chief of Polices
has been, and that's what I have not seen her.
She used to be on TV demanding it did this
woman be moved? I also would like to put out
a call out to the governor. Governor of the wine
called her, so tell her to fire this woman or
you're going to withhold funds.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
And whatever the state needs to do to make sure
she is never an educator or an amnistry.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Because I wonder if these police officers were white, Chuck,
maybe that's the reason why.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, or the responding officer. I mean, I'm looking at
the body cam footage year and as I as I'm
watching them walk in, at least one of the two
officers I'm looking at is a white male. So yeah,
if that came into play, even more a reason to
get rid of her.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, that's right, that's right there. Or there would have
been an explosion and killed.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Some of the kids.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
That's what I'm saying. If it's your kids are in there,
your neighbor's kids, any kids are in there, how do
you want this handle? Do you want a receptionist and
a principal say well, you can't check for a bomb
in the school. That's ridiculous, That's right.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
I wonder who called them.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Do you the school called. That's just it. The school
called because of a bomb threat, and when the police
showed up, they wouldn't let the police be the police.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Oh lord, there.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Needs to be the parents need to be their protesting
to get rid of this woman.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yes, absolutely, I'm with you on that too, Dana. They
hold signs up for everything else. Let's hold signs up
for something that matters. Appreciate the call, Ddy, thanks very much.
Take care of yourself. Chuck. You are on six to ten,
do w ETVN good?
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Mark? Good?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Then?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Well, I appreciate you. I hang on a set. Do
we have any sound effects? Fireworks? Sound effects? It for
a first time caller. No, we have absolutely nothing for you, Chuck,
But I appreciate your call. Nonetheless.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Well that's all right.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
I'm just glad to be able to put in my
two cents worth. I normally just wish I could call in,
but I had to find the number I had to
call in. I think the woman should have been arrested
on the spot. If the bad guys can get into
the office, then when the police show up, they were like,
oh no, we.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Can't let you in.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
They were there for a legitimate reasons.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, my opinion, you're withhold.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
You're you're with stopping them from investigating. You're right, in
a domestic violence situation, a man on the situation is
automatically placing cuffs just for everybody.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Obstruction of official police business. You are right, Chuck. I
hadn't even been thinking about that.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Released later, you know, no charges whatever, You know what
I mean. But no, we're not leaving here without checking
for the bomb. I don't care about your feelings. You
know you're Are you scared be scared in the back
of the cruiser, Yeah, the spot.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
You can be.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
And I'll be honest with you, Chuck. If I if
I was Let's say I'm driving a tour bus full
of children to to uh To. We're going to go
up to King's Island or see the Point tour but
and somebody says there's a bomb on the bus, and
the bomb square guy shows up and he's wearing a
clan robe. I want his butt on that bus fighting
(08:05):
a bomb. I don't care what he's wearing. I don't
care what he's affiliated with. I don't care what he believes,
as long as he does his job and protects the children.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Right.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Thank you for the call. I appreciate the first one.
I hope we hear many more from you. Chuck, thanks
very much. A two one ninety eighty six A two
one WTV. And this, this is this is far beyond unacceptable.
This is far beyond this is dangerous for anybody to
get to that place in their mind where they would
(08:35):
sacrifice the well being of the students of that's a
middle school, that's sixth, seventh, and eighth grade people. Those
kids are eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old. A bomb threat.
And because this woman has a problem with either the
(09:00):
police or white men or white and police or white
people or men or badges or or or whatever, it
doesn't matter. You do not risk the safety of the
children because of your personal bias. Ever, if you don't
(09:21):
have the safety of the children first and foremost in
your mind, you have absolutely no business working with children.
Or again, maybe that's just me. Ah two n WTVN
is my number, Craig, you're on six ten double UTVN.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Well, it's nice to bring a light on this, but
there's really no point in talking about it because nothing's
gonna happen to her.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
And yet you called my phone to talk about it.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
She's not even she's not even going to get disciplined.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
No, she must be, and we we as human beings,
as people, need to make sure that something happens here.
Brian Steele. Being ignored to this point from the superintendent's
not acceptable either. We need accountability and we need repercussions
for this.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
I got an idea why she behaved the way she did.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Go ahead, she.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Thought, y'all, she thought the officer probably voted for Trump.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
You know what, as I know you think you're making
a joke, Craig, But guess what, dude, that is not
out of the question these days, that is not out
of the question. And that's a sad, sad thing. But
that's that's the way we are rolling through reality in
twenty twenty five. Thanks for the call A two one
WTVN and will you are on the Legacy Retirement Group
(10:36):
dot com phone line? Hi?
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Yes, I would be very tickled if she was to
get thirty days in the damn electric chair.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Thirty days in the electric chair. That's well done, man.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Oh that lady. She should not be allowed on ever,
on that property or any property in Ohio or any
school matter of fact, not.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
As no, not in the capacity as a teacher or administrator.
She has shown here that her personal bias supersedes the
safety of the students. That means you're out.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
She was confused the way she looked. She looked like
she was going to a funeral anyway.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
You know, I because the world has changed so very much,
and I guess the rule is different for ladies than
it is for men. But I was always told you
had you took your hat off indoors and that. When
I saw that video, I'm like, why is she wearing
a hat?
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah, that tastes will get your other caller, but I
just get her the hell OLLI here? I don't ever
see that there? What's her name again?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Her name is? Hang on and say andrewa something. You're
making me scroll on my computer here. The principle is
Natalie James? Is her name?
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Oh, Natalie James?
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Natalie James. Yes, so you and I are on the
same page on this one. Will I appreciate you, buddy,
thank you. It just I don't know, And it's not
just a children What if it was a rest home
where you know, elderly people are nursing facility something like that.
What if it was up I don't know, a hospital whatever.
(12:11):
Your standing guard over people that that need you, depend
on you and count on you. And when you are
are in potential trouble, here the people show up who
can fix the trouble, save you, protect you, and you
you stand guard and won't won't let them in, won't
let them do what they're there to do. Wow. A
(12:31):
two nine and eight six A two n WTVN Steve,
you're on six ten w ETVN fight Chuck.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Hey, I'm just wondering why the police weren't allowed to
override her. For one. I mean, I look at it
like this, if if your neighbor called and said there
was something going on with your kids at your house,
you can believe they're coming in to get your kids.
I mean, that's just all there is to it.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
How how is she able to do that? That's just
just beyond me. I seem fa them, if she had
the right to do that, they should have said, look,
either get off to the side and out the door
or whatever, or we're arresting you right now. That's just
I you know, I can't believe it when, especially like
I said, if there was some kind of domestic something
(13:16):
going on at home and they wanted to come in.
And look, they're coming in. You have no right to
say they can't come in. I don't understand. I don't
understand what the difference is. I really don't.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
I don't either, and you know, hopefully this will resolve
itself very quickly, Steve, thanks very much. Let me get
to Frank here. Frankiere on sixth N WTVN, Chuck, Hey.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Maybe she saw that the police officers had pocket knives
and she didn't want to let him in.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Because of that.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Now they got all kinds of stuff on that Batman
utility belt. But I don't care what I don't. They
could have come in there carrying a bazooka for all
I care. If they are there as police officers and
there's a bomb threat in your school, you don't dan
guard and refuse to let them in. That's just true.
That's that's absolutely nuts. Thanks Frank, Tim you're on six WTVN, Hey, Chuck.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
I'm not totally surprised with this, but he should have
been arrested for her obstruction of justice. She was hindering
the police officer and doing his job, so I think
she should have been arrested and charged on the spot.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah, and that you know that that's still not out
of the question as far as I'm concerned, because again,
it is all on bodycam, got video of everything, and
I don't think that's out of the question yet. I
want to see Angela Chapman, doctor Chapman, at the club
of City School Superintendent's office. I want to see her
step up and say this was this was absolutely wrong,
and we're not going to stand for it.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
I do that.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm not going
to hold my breath, but I hope for the best.
Tim thank you for the call. I got to say
goodbye because the music is playing, which means, indeed, it
is time for me to fly.
