Speaker 1 (00:01):
Do Do Do Do Do Do Do?
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Hey, y'all, it's Denise's podcast was up.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Hope you guys are having a great day. I have
a great interview from Lopez versus Lopez coming back on
TV next week. It's gonna be a fun one. George Lopez.
His daughter actually plays his daughter. It's his real life daughter.
Does that make sense? Ooh, this podcast is already kicking
off crazy anyway, Let's kick it off with Denise's dirt
before I get to the interview. Just some things going
(00:29):
around in gossip pop culture and this one's just weird.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Kanye West's former employee filed a lawsuit against him, alleging
emotional distress and retaliation. So The person claims he was
hired as a director of intelligence in twenty twenty two
and was tasked with investigating the Kardashian family for sex trafficking,
what and hiring private investigators to tell Kanye's wife Bianca
(00:58):
he totally has trust issues. The ex employee also alleges
that Wes became enraged after he reported child abuse at
his school, the Donda Academy, and threatened him with physical harm.
The lawsuit states that this triggered the unidentified man's PTSD
from military service and caused severe anxiety and panic attacks
(01:19):
in addition to emotional distress. The man is seeking unpaid
wages and claims he says his erratic behavior. Kanye West's
erratic behavior, including the use of nitrous oxide and titanium teeth,
led to the dismissal of many employees. There is so
much in there to make you go, what a what
(01:40):
all this was going on behind the scenes two years ago,
And it's so strange with everything going down in Hollywood,
with the alleged sexual misconduct, abuse and sex trafficking with
P Didty, and now he was investigating his own ex
wife and family. That's just scary. I mean, you could
imagine since he was friends with P Diddy, he's if
(02:01):
all of this was true, all the allegations against P
Diddy is true, then you can understand why he's concerned
about other celebrities in Hollywood doing it. But I couldn't
imagine the Kardashians what. That's crazy. Great news for Kate Middleton.
She's returned to her royal duties after completing chemotherapy treatment
for cancer. It's so nice to see her back in
(02:21):
front of the spotlight, but just happy and healthy. She
joined her husband, Prince William on Thursday to meet the
families of the young victims who were killed in a
mass stabbing at the Taylor Swift themed dance class in July.
Speaking of Taylor Swift, Wow Swifties, watch out Travis Kelsey's
ex girlfriend. Well, she said, I'm not going to become
a Swifty anytime soon. They're not liking me, Kayla Nicole.
(02:44):
She's fed up with the shade that she's allegedly receiving
from Taylor Swift fans. She was on a podcast and
she said, listen, people are targeting me constantly. They will
go to my most recent post and you can read
they're debating each other why I'm worthless and I'll never
be a talented person and I have no career. That
is so so sad. I hope that's not true. She
(03:07):
said she's really good with Travis. They split on good terms.
They don't speak publicly, but she doesn't understand why they're
being so mean to her. Ooh, did you usedill love
watching The Office or Er? Both of those were hit
television shows. Well, I think you're gonna love this new
one because it's a medical comedy, but it's filmed in
the style of the office. It's called Saint Din Medical
(03:30):
and it's going to be on NBC November twelfth. Finally,
are you a fan of Love Is Blind? We got
a date Season seven reunion. Premiere date is set for
October thirtieth, nine pm Eastern Time. It's Love is Blind
Season seven Reunion. There you go, quick, look at Denise's dirt.
Now let's get to the interview with George Lopez and
Selinas Levi, both from Lopez versus Lopez. All right, Hi,
(03:53):
how you both doing today?
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Good? How are you excellent?
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Congratulations It deserves more than the golf clap, but that's
all I have right now. Lopez versus Lopez coming back
October eighteenth, and I'm here for all the family fun
and kind of like the bickering that I see in
my own family.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, you know, we have gotten that down to a science.
I think we all bring wherever families were from, We've
bring our bickering into one place every week.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, the bickering and the love. And of course when
a wedding happens in the family, everybody wants to put
their two cents in, so Selenas, let's start with you
where we kick it all off with the wedding, and
you want to kind of put your two cents in
explain what we're going to see with the season premiere.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yes, well, we definitely will see Rosie inserting herself into
all of the planning of the wedding. She wants this
to be her dream wedding. And then Georgina has his
idea of what the wedding should be like to and
both George and Rosie are not taking into account that,
you know, perhaps maybe mine and Quentin should have to say.
So we will see what happens when Rosie and George
(04:57):
get their feelings hurt about not being allowed to plan
the wedding. There is a game show that happens, and
Anthony Anderson is the host of the game show and
it is all about family dynamics, family dysfunction, and a
lot of funny in between.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
And George, I understand this all started. Now we're on
the third season, which is huge, congratulations, but I understand
it all started from your daughter doing a TikTok in
real life and they're like, hey, I think we have
another hit show.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
I saw the TikTok I didn't see a hit show
in the TikTok, but you know I wasn't. I wouldn't
even you know. Somebody said to me, you saw the TikTok?
I said yeah. I said, would you tell her to
take it down? I said, I can't. You know, so
that was her thing. If you're old enough, I equated
to the opening of Verial Hillbillys when Uncle Jed shoots
and hits the ground and oil comes out of the ground.
(05:51):
The last thing you think of a TikTok is that
a network show can be spawned from it.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yes, that is such a great analogy to oil just
coming up from the ground by accident. And how fun
is it working with your daughter? I mean that's a dream.
I think most parents like to see their children successful
and doing what they truly want in life, and you
get to do it right beside them.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah, you know, Maya had these crazy I mean I
would say I had to say crazy dreams when I
was eleven and twelve. And to see her fulfill her
dreams is amazing. And she did it on her own.
I mean, she works hard, and this is something that
I've been I have a pretty good imagination. I'm not
sure I would have imagined it for us, but I'm
(06:36):
so happy that it happened.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, in real life, you'll be paying for the wedding
and wanting to put your two cents in soon enough.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Right, that's right, that's right now.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Since you all are on your third season and it
is remarkable to have successful TV show after successful TV show,
congratulations George and Selena's do you think that the reason
behind it is because you all are so related and
we're like, oh my gosh, that happens in my family dynamic?
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Absolutely, this is exactly you know, I mean when we
think about things that we watch growing up, when we
think about movies that we love, it's always movies and
shows that we feel we can connect to that you
have some you know you see yourself in or you
can see, oh I went through this, I can relate
to that. And that's what we are. We are a
(07:25):
show that is family oriented, all of the drama that
family dynamics bring and also the funny. You know, in
the most tragic situations sometimes or the most chaotic or
the most tightened situations comes the funniest moments. And I'm
sure George can can say he agrees with that espersonally
(07:45):
a stand up.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I think we could be talking on the show about
something like a couch and I'll start crying. Everybody else
is looking at me like I seem really crying about
the couch. I mean, it's so funny that you know
I'm up in age. But whatever, my generational trauma was
swimming right there on the top.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
We all have different generational traumas too. I'm just waiting
for you, George, to tork on the wall like your
daughter did. That's what I'm waiting for season three. Let's
do it.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, he tried, he did, He tried, he tried, he tried.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
See, it's not as easy as it looks.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Right, Come on, now, everything trashy is very difficult.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh all right, well, congratulations on season three. Lopez Versus
Lopez October eighteenth on NBC nine News Here. We cannot
wait to watch it. Have a great day, and thanks
for all the laughs.
