segment where you were examining, youknow, a NASCAR driver who was suspended
indefinitely for liking a tweet It waspossibly the most offensive tweet that I've ever
seen in my entire life. Itwas Sebastian the Crab from The Little Mermaid,

but instead of under the sea,his face was replaced with the face
of George Floyd and the caption wasunder de knee terrible And that bothers me
quite a bit. And she didn'tspeak to it, but I have to
assume that it bothered the African Americanwoman sitting in my car at the time
even more. We were talking aboutit, Me and Danny and Starr were

talking about it, and then Soroygoes, why don't you say something,
j J. I was like,yeah, we should probably shut up and
just let her talk about this fora second. Yeah, that was nice,
Like you're happy for that, Butlike, as I'm just all Ti'm
doing is imagining the African American womanthat I'm with, like just the harshest
possible things she could be thinking aboutme, you know, Like, this

is the kind of stuff this guylistens to. This is what they do
whenever we're not around, Like Ijust walked into his private life. Just
see what he and he's just listeningto. People in the car say,
how actually it's fine to like anything, and then it's like involving JJ great
move. But like as I youknow, I'm not seeing anything as a
great move. I'm just as selfconscious as I've ever been. And I

just assume this woman's like, ohyeah, go go to the token reaction.
So now now you can just whitewasheverything by well we did have one
bird to go up in the segment. I'm like, come on, like,
she didn't say a word, shedidn't say once. She was very
nice, uh you know, andbut once it starts, I feel like
I'm making it much worse. Bythis is always how I feel whenever something

uncomfortable comes up on the station whileI have someone in the car. Is
I'm acknowledged, like I can kindof pretend like I'm not even really listening.
I'm just kind of zoned out,you know, Oh what do they
say? Like I've always got thatdeniability unless I change the station. Sure,
because then it's like we all knowthat I heard the thing that I

Yeah, And it was I meanI think that was one of the
like clear ones where I think weframed. And this is maybe a bad
job of me saying this, becauseI was kind of doing like, hey,
let's just Mike's Terroy versus Cancel culture. Yeah, it's really not what

it was. It really Mike's Roy, I mean, And the whole point
of this was to get to theKevin Brown thing with the Orioles. Sure,
and I think we just stayed onthat NASCAR guy first. Yeah,
and I don't even know the NASCARguy's name. It felt a great relief
once we started talking about Orioles announcers. Yeah, right, I just kind

of move it on down the road, thank God. But I think the
point that Si Roy was making,and I do not want to put words
in his mouth, was just theidea because he went hard on the Lizzo
lawsuit and how that is bs Whenyou go look at the details, it
sounds like people are just making thingsup, or it looks like people are

at least not having very specific details. The lawyers got in there, they
did their lawyer tricks. Oh lawyermumbo jumbo. You're seeing this with a
lot of lawsuits like the mister Freezelawsuit at six Flags. I don't even
begin to know what's going on.That's a ether baskets thing. Yeah,
guy got stuck tunnel and hope itgoes well. Smoke inhalation, all that

stuff. Yeah. No, Mike'spoints seem to be you just wanted to
ask the question of like, isa like crossing the boundary? Yeah,
Like we all know that if yousay stuff like this, like that's bad,
but like if you just merely observeit, and they're kind of like,
like, what exactly does it likemean? I don't know. I
wouldn't want to justify any of thatto the woman I was riding around with.

I in that moment, I wantedto turn around and be like,
I think they're wrong. Man.I personally, if you gave me the
gun, I would shoot this NASCARdriver today because you cannot tolerate this sort
of thing. That's what I believe. Yep. Though maybe you know when
you're in the uber just you know, you maybe another one of our wonderful

stations in the cluster and now I'mjust I'm just a big freak fan,
you know. It's it's that typeof conversation though, I like talking about
things like that, and yeah,it was a good set to acceptable and
what's not clearly that's not. Andthe fact that the guy is a NASCAR
driver adds about I mean, dude, that that ad that turns a lightweight

or middleweight conversation into a heavyweight conversation, we just throw NASCAR into it as
well. Yeah, this is easy, you know, it's difficult if someone
else, you know, likes atweet like that, Scalabrini probably gets away
with it. Yeah, yeah,or any other white NBA player, It

depends. Oh yeah, came in. Well, I don't think anyone trust
came in and that's what made hima decent interview for a while though.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.Uh So we were talking about the Netflix
series The Quarterback. We both watchedit, and I'd really like to hone

in now on what we were touchingon before. Just you know, I
would assume most of the audience asCowboys fans. I'm a Bears fan,
you're a Packers fan, and allof us can agree that the Minnesota Vikings
totally suck and their quarterback is ajoke. And I don't know if this
is funny anyone else, but Igot two short clips that this was by

far the most hilarious part of theseries to me, these tiny moments.
But you know, please enjoy thesegreen Bean cast all all right, would
you guys like green beans at all? Oh? Okay, all right,
here we go. I find that'sown chant. Think, dude, he's
a serial killer. I love cheeringfor a team that employs men whose job

it is to bring him down asharshly as possible. I'm telling you,
it made me like, I'm prettyhard on Mike McCarthy even I don't even
know where you stand on that,but Arth does and says things to me
that are just like Ethan crazy.Yeah, Like the more you give him,
you let him talk, the morehe will talk himself into these strange

places, not like Jerry, thougha completely different way where you end up
going wait, wait, wait waitwhat and Kurt, I mean, they're
it's different. He's talking about food. I just imagine there's nothing going on
in his head that I mean that. I feel like that's what comes across
there. The whole thing. Ifeel like his whole life is him just
kind of being like, oh,green means all right, Yeah, he's

obviously doing like a salvation army,you know, like food for the needy
kind of thing, and he's he'sserving it. So he's he's at a
station, he's wearing the uh,the apron, and just every person that
comes up to him, all right. Yeah, the letters to the fans

were amazing. And he's even justa part where like he's attempting to get
deep when he's talking about riding backto a prisoner. Yeah, yeah,
he's like, prison must be hard. I'm going to give him this card.
It's just so funny to me.I don't have any I wish we

learned something new about him, though. Yeah, it's everything I thought there
was nothing new. Emphasizing previous problemsoff the field, the quarterback sneak,
thing that goes wrong in that Buffalogame. Yeah, you know, there's
just so many things. There's somany bad interceptions too that you see up
close as well. Yeah, ohthat was because that's another thing I me

and my buddy have been long justvery focused on the various aspects of how
Kirk Cousins is hilarious. And evenwhen he was with Washington, there was
a compilation of him throwing the mostconfident looking interception of just like the ball
leaves his hand. He's like,there's another rocket touchdown, absolutely, and
then it's easily caught by the otherteam. He's number one in the NFL,

and like, it's one thing ifit's like you know, you're you're
being sacked, like whatever, youknow, it's just clean pocket. I'm
I'm just gonna kill it here,right into the hands of the defender.
And he had one. I'm prettysure it was the Buffalo game. It's
like, I just always wondered what'sgoing through his mind there and he actually
came back though. Colin was like, I thought it was one of our

players just didn't see it. Yeah. Yeah, He's like, I was
sure that it was this guy onthe hook route. And as it turns
out, it was a badly outof position defender that I threw the ball
directly too. And you know what, he's probably way better than the quarterbacks
of the teams we like Noll.He'll find that out this year. Justin

Field's gonna have a good year.Oh my god. Yes, I worry
about Jordan a lot. Yeah didyou should? I mean, whatever you
were, you were nice about Fields. I don't mean the pylon life will
do that to you. Enough.Yeah. My big problem with Justin Fields
is that they just didn't do mucharound him, like, hey, here

you go, here's your job,and Mooney as your number one wide receiver.
Yeah, but this always season fixedall that, you get it all
fixed? Who got dj Yeah that'sa legit one. I think Mooney then
is a legit too. Traded forClaypool three? Yeah or four in a
commet is an option? You know. Obviously I'm a little biased, but
I have a high opinion. Howdo we draft uh Darnel? Right?

Okay? Tackle tackle? I thinkthat we did a couple other things stuff
grade the offensive line. They're escapingme right at this moment. While David
Montgomery, who's your running back?Cleil Herbert? We hearder than Montgomery last
year. Anyways, it was aZeke Pollard situation. Yeah, I've had
a swift did Jamal Williams situation?Yeah? Yeah? Uh yeah? And

all I feel think the Lions aregonna win the division and I don't know
that I believe that. Yeah,I'm I've made a habit of not being
afraid of the Detroit Lions and it'spaid off for me so far. The
opening that game with the Chiefs JaredGoff versus Pat Mahomes. That's what it
is. Yeah, the Thursday nightopener. I'm accustomed to a little bigger

game than that is the opener.The Chiefs are gonna murder them, yeah,
and I know the lines are gonnabe good. It feels like this
is the kind of soft stuff youcan get into in the off season where
people are just you know, justbecause they feel bad. It's been so
long. Wouldn't it be interesting forthe NFL if this team that was always
terrible actually turned out to be good? And boy, I sure do like

Dan Campbell's press conferences, and sonow we're gonna pretend like the Lions aren't
gonna get their as kicked in halfthe games. Probably the most sympathetic team
over the last twenty years. Sothat leads to a lot of people making
did their backup or third team inthe NFC, you know, like they're
like, oh, yeah, I'mpulling for them. You know, that's

a silly joke. And I'm like, you don't need to pull for the
Lions. They're just the Lions.Yeah, And then, so uh,
let's check it. Let's check thelow levels here on this real quick.
I didn't see that coming. Okay, you can hear that, fine,
So I just wanted to play thisin full start and stop. It just
good examination between you and me.This was, I thought, the real

juicy center of this series. TheQuarterback on Netflix, where Kirk Cousins has
just suffered the greatest professional defeat ofhis entire life, one of the greater
defeats that anyone could imagine a manwho is near our age, which is
not a prime NFL quarterback playing age. He has had one playoff win to

this point, but just stacked upwins left and right in the regular season.
He's got a home game in theplayoffs. The Giants barely snuck in
laughable, gonna be an easy oneto roll in. Just gets I mean
whatever, you know, they didn'tlike totally get demolished, but it went
bad for them pretty quick. Itwas ugly throughout and now he's got to

talk about it with his wife.This is them and back, Yeah,
this is this is just the Theydo a full two minutes of him driving
home with you know, Julie Cousinsthroughout it just like I don't know,
she's it's all a little hard,like she's she's as crazy as he is,
Like, I don't know whatever.I'm a Christian myself, I don't,

I don't. I don't want tomake fun of them for being Christian.
But like the way that she's like, you know, is sometimes the
game gets so tough and just tocalm down, I want to listen to
my praise music. That's a certainkind of person and that's who she is.
And she's also like kind of considersherself a bit of an assistant coach.
Oh no doubt, And so she'skind of breaking down the film with

him afterwards here and just hearing aguy who I certainly hate talking about the
worst time of his life with hiswife in the car home was was a
real high point for me. Letlet's give it a listen. I didn't
see that coming. I didn't either, kind of in shock. Yeah,
me too. Help. It doesn'tfeel like it should be over. It's

tough to host a playoff game andnot win so close. So the plays
that you go back and beat yourselfup over, it's just misery. There
weren't a ton, but there wereprobably three, and you feel like if

you just have those three back,you might win the game. Three mistakes
or yeah, yeah, one ofthe early third downs I took. I
took too quick a footwork. Andso this is pretty good football analysis.
I enjoyed. Yeah, like youdo learn a good bit about a football
watching the show. It's nice.No, they do a good job.
You got to I think. Idon't know how much to say he had
in it, but Peyton Manning's helpstring this together. And you can tell

you wanted to show a little bitof film, but not beat the audience
over the head with it. Youknow. Yeah, it was ahead of
the read. It was open fora first down and then we had to
punt and then third down the secondto last play of the game. We
got. We got the coverage wewanted, I got the read I wanted.
I was dropping back thinking this isperfect, and the ball was like

maybe a foot too far, youknow, behind him or on him.
It wasn't in front of him.If the ball's in front of him,
he was that j Yeah, yeah, ball should have been out in front
of him. And he catches thatand we're yeah, honey, it was
kJ okay, we're not oppressed that. You know, the receiver in the
play, I'm talking everyone was there. It was on TV. Just that's

that's his career. They don't talklike that in real life though, right,
I think they do. Dude,gosh, can you imagine talking about
every little thing from work when youget home. I mean, she it
seems to me like she feels likeshe should be looped in and he doesn't
have anything else going on, youknow, Like it's not like he uh

watched the art film recently that he'dliked to break down for you, and
I just I feel like it's inmy mind what Kirk Cousins' career is is
what he's describing there of like,yeah, it was a perfect situation.
It was really kind of hard toscrew up, and then I just threw
it to the total wrong spot forno reason. We're going terrible. When

you only run fifty some plays,you know, the two or three that
you want back really a little large. The hardest part is that when you
go to OTAs you know, thirteenwins this year is no bearing. You're

staring into the abyss now nothing.It's it's hard to build, to build,
build, build, build, andthen you know there's nothing to really
build from there anymore. It's overfrustrating, really really frustraate. Oh I

It drove home so much like thereare aspects of NFL quarterbacks lives as you
see in this show that bear noresemblance whatsoever to our lives. I'll never
know. Like I I remember,like I played football in seventh and eighth

grade. I remember when we gotto play at guy what was it,
Clark the big play No East Stadium, like where plain O East plays most
of their games. Sometimes every oncein a while we would get to play
our games there and that feeling andthat's you know, it's a lot smaller
than a US Bank field, youknow, and so like I just can't

even imagine how cool it is tobe an NFL quarterback. So there's parts
of their lives that bear no resemblanceto yours, and then there's parts of
their lives that are the exact sameas yours, like having a trash day.
And the way that this series juxtaposedit was just it was beautiful.
I thought it was perfect. AndMarcus Mariota, there just wasn't enough footage

of him to even finish the serieswith him because he quit. Yeah,
and it bounced around a lot,like you'd almost like sometimes you'd be in
a week ten in Kansas City andyou'd be a week six in Minnesota.
Yeah, so it kind of bouncedaround a little bit, bousted. The
Patrick Mahomes stuff is great, Butdude, Kirk's the star. I mean,
if they run this back next year, I would take him as one
of the three. I want himto just have like a Truman Show bit.

I would watch the Truman Show ifit was just Kirk Cousins his life,
you know, and they should thecup of him singing, which we
are so singing that amazing, andthen he sings about after the playoff loss.
His like thing was he went intohis son's room, was like all
right, time for our songs andprayers and just was singing, you know,

like we love God. You knowthat kind of stuff. Beautiful.
If you could have I don't geta hurry. If you could have three
to pick from three quarterbacks for nextseason, who would you want? I
mean, like, beyond the factthat I would love Fields, I don't.
I mean, it's hard not tosay just roll back Mahomes and Cousins,
but all those AFC young quarterbacks,Herbert Lawrence Burrow. I would just

love to know more about them becauseI think this is gonna deepen watching mahomes
like knowing that he and Max Crosbyare so chippy with each other. Watching
these games a lot of fun.So I want to know what those who
those guys are in everyone's life.For all these young great quarterbacks. It's
weird, but I kind of wantto see Russell Wilson. Oh my god,
he's exactly cousins. Yeah, that'sthe yeah, dude, that would
