Speaker 1 (00:00):
First date of follow up powered by the Advocates Injury
Attorneys online at Advocateslaw dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Read is on the phone today for our first day
follow up, and he's getting ghosted by Millie. So in
a second, we're gonna get her on the phone and
see if she'll tell us why he's ghosting him and
maybe get him another date.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
But first, read, how long has it been since you
heard from Millie?

Speaker 4 (00:18):
It's been a week?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
A week? Okay, that's kind of sweet spot.

Speaker 5 (00:22):
I know, right, it seems like maybe she'll appear, but
I got only one text from missus to date, so
you know, I'm over work.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
I should start from the beginning.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Now, Okay, yeah, let us do that.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Here. We went on on date and it was really great.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
Honestly, it's such an amazing time and she's a great
karaoke singer and so am I.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
So like we knew what the plan was.

Speaker 5 (00:43):
We went out and hit like dinner and a couple
of drinks, and then we went to a karaoke bar.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
And we killed it.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
We founded amazing, excellent what's your go to karaoke song?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Honestly, at one point we both got up and you know,
the lady Gaga song Government.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Hooker, as I don't know that one song. I don't either.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
It's called government Hooker. It's it's a Lady Gaga. So
we both love it. We sang it for everybody. I mean, yeah,
it's a little weird, but I thought we did a
great job. Okay, so things are going great, and I
kind of felt like, you know, one of.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Those like romcom movies, you know, like you have the
big kiss at the end of the night, you know,
and I went in for the kiss, and the kiss
was really great, but like I'm wondering if maybe I
didn't do as good a job of it as I thought,
or you know, because obviously she's not calling me back,
and I keep going over in my mind, like, you know,
did I do something wrong over over the night, and

(01:40):
I there's one thing that I keep thinking about other
than the kiss that could have done it.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
And at one point my belt broke. I'd get like
a zip tie.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
From the guide the bar to like you mightful, did
they fall all the way down while you're singing no.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Thank God?

Speaker 5 (01:56):
That I mean if my pants fell down during government health,
because it would have been even worse.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, I mean, I think that's style points right there
that would have brought the house down, hold me back.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Yeah, maybe I wouldn't be on the phone with you
guys right now.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
So anyway, Yeah, the zip tie issue that stuck in
my mind, and also the fact that you.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Know that maybe the kiss could have been better. I
don't know. I got I use a little tongue. I
don't know if that was inappropriate at the time. I
don't know what happened.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Did you feel like your mouth was wet? Also the
alternative is if it was too dry.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Like saying it, I would have known if it was
too dry, but it might have been too wet.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I mean we were drinking, it was well well saturated.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Did you bite? No, Okay, did.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I know?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
I didn't. I didn't grown maybe I should have to.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I'm asking some real questions. You never know. We've heard.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
There was no biting, but I used a lot of tongue,
and I'm wondering if that was too much tongue or
it's the zip tide belt, you know.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I mean, it's hard to ignore that. That's pretty embarrassing.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
I mean, she kissed you after the tie belt, so
I don't think that the type belt is It's true
that is true.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
If the zip tie belt was a deal breaker, she
wouldn't kiss me or I was down and she needed
an extraordinary kiss to make up for the zip tie belt.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
And then I just didn't do enough to bring it back,
you know, I just broke even at the end. I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
So anyway, I like the like the next day, I
got a text.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
She's like she said, just you know, thanks for a
fun night. It was just like one. There was no
like correspondence. She said, thanks for fun night. That was it.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
And then like she hasn't responded since. I've texted her
a couple of times. I didn't want to seem too leady,
so it didn't overly text. But you know, at one
point I just said, hey, what are you up to
next weekend?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
And I had nothing back.

Speaker 6 (03:47):
Did you send the initial text in the morning after?

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Did she She actually sent the initial text, but I
was wondering if she just sent me, you know.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Let me put a nail on the coffin on this one,
thanks for fun night. Nice? Did it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah, it might have been a nice a nice you know,
it's like a four. You know, she already had it
stored in her phone.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah, thank you for fun night and I just filled
it in.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Well, let's see if we can figure it out for
you plus on come back and then call her and
see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting you, and.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Maybe get to another day if you still want one.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Okay, yeah, sounds great.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
All right, well play us on come back and get
your first day follow up next. Right in the middle
of today's first day follow up if you're just joining us,
Reid is on the phone and he's getting ghosted by
a girl named Millie. So we're about to call her
and see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting him
and maybe get him another date. But before we do that,
read why don't you catch us up on your situation?

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Went out on this date? Our first date? We uh,
we went to karaoke, things right, great, My belt broke.
I had to use the zip tide belt, so I
saved the date, went in for the kiss at.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
The end of the night, and I maybe used too
much tongue. I don't know. Nick.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
I get like just to text the next day saying,
hey had a great time, but that was a She
hasn't responded since, and now I'm wondering.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I mean I'm a great singer. I know it wasn't.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Okay, I'm so modest.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
All right? You ready for us to call her?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Yeah, I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Okay, here we go. Hi to Millie.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Please there, Hey Millie, how are you? My name is
Jewbel calling from radio show called The Jewbell Show.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Hi Millie, my name is Nina on the show.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Hi, I'm Victoria.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Hi, wo h it's up.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Did you ever listen to the show.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
Sometimes I just have to ask you if your friends
were like always asking you to do the Millie Rock
because it was like your name, you know, definitely.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Before Okay, do you have any idea why we're calling you?

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Okay, Well, then i'll tell you. Have you ever heard
a first D follow up before?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Yeah, then I think I do.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Great. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
It's a segment where if you go out on a
date with somebody and then you ghost them, that person
can email us to get you on the phone and
ask why you're ghosting them. And we got an email
about you from a guy named reidh and he said
he liked you a lot, but he wants to know
why you're ghosting.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Oh, I mean I did reach out.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
I don't know, I just like, I think you get busy.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I didn't even think of it that way, but like, no,
like it was a good day and I liked him.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
We clicked and it was good.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I had a good time. Though.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
So you're not ghosting him or you are?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
No, I'm not, God, I'm not I'm not ghosting him.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
I just kind of feel like when you really like somebody,
you don't kind of forget that, you know.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I'm guessing he called in.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yes, yeah, he emails us and he said, you guys
went to karaoke, you had fun, and then you texted
in the next day thanks for a fun night, but
you haven't gotten back to about anything else.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Well, I mean, here's the thing. Like, I'm in a
newly open relationship. Oh so, and I told my boyfriend
that I was going on the day and usually cool
with it. But yeah, I don't know, I thought maybe
read I don't know if you've opened to that.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
But that's kind of where I'm at.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
So with your open relationship, is it just you're open
to physical or actually like having emotions and dating some
of the like another person, oh, all of it, all
of it. So is the relationship with your current boyfriend
new or you just recently opened it up.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
We are not new and a friend of ours and
other couple cogested. We try that to keep the spicelive,
and so we're newly open.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
So Read the first person since you've been open, he is, I.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Mean, why not communicate that to him?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I mean, I guess I uh, you know, ree kuld
have reached out to sone does go both ways?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
He said, he he.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Said he did. He said he texted you a few
times and you didn't respond.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Oh hold on, yeah, hold on. Oh you know what,
I think I did get it. I think I kind
of forgot to respond.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Oh all right, Well, thank you for being honest with us.
And Millie Read is actually on the phone and wants
to talk to you.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
What hey, Milly, Hello doing Hi.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
I know it's a bit of a surprise, but I
have to say I'm pretty surprised too. I didn't realize
you were in a relationship with someone.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yeah, it's an open relationship, so we're seeing other people.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
You were my first, well i'm your second.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah, Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Yeah, that's pretty I mean, I just wish you had
mentioned it. That's kind of I don't know, yeah, I'm
sorry about that. I uh, it's all new to me.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
So did you enjoy the date though you want to
tell them about that?

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I mean I did enjoy it. I don't know if
you had a good time, read, but.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
I had a really great time. It was really fun.
I just uh would be I mean I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
But I think if you know, you guys ever broke
up or something, I would definitely want to go out again.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
I get that, but you know I don't. It's a
little it's not really my thing, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
I mean, you sure like you did have a lot
of fun on our date, and who knows for the
next one to go.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
I mean it's really tempting. I just I'm kind of.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Just weirded out by the whole thing.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
I mean, I mean, you weren't ghosting me though, like
you're trying to convince me now to do this, but
like you need even answer me all week.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
I mean, you like you are checking your phone now.
You'll go, yeah, it's weird, You'll go, oh, yeah, he
did text.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
I mean, that doesn't sound like you were that into
me if you just couldn't even bother looking at the phone.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
No, I mean I mean, like, I did get your
test and that is my bad. I'm not great. I'm
not great with text.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Yah, because you're you're busy with your boyfriend. That's why
you need to answer. I mean, I mean if you
you know, if you went into it, you would have
been like, oh yeah, I agree, and you just send
me this quick like thanks text.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
That was it.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
You can even respond and you know I know why
because you're in a relationship.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I mean, it's pretty obvious.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Or seeing somebody else, it's just weird.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Yeah, I mean, I hear you.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
I just I mean, you're you're in an old relationship
with him. You're an old relationship with him, but you're
not open with me.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
About what you're doing. So you're really half open. I
mean I'm open now.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
So it's like now they mean it's just slightly the
door is It's not like, well, the door.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Is not even halfway open. Sounds like you're closing every second. Yeah,
I feel like you're closing, Millie.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Would you like another day? It's read? Will pay for it?

Speaker 1 (11:01):
I mean, I'm still open to it, but it kind
of sounds like you've made up your mind reading well.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Because it is not open, you're it was half open,
and now it's barely open, and now it's but.

Speaker 6 (11:11):
It's still open.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
No, cool, I just closed it. It's a it's a
close relationship.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
There's a knock on that door.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
No I'm not, I'm not. No, I'm not opening the door.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Okay, okay okay. Jubile's first day follow up
