Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber Radio program with
your host to board President John Kroll of Kroll Realty.
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. Its Saturday, the
twenty ninth of March twenty twenty five. Are privileged to
be here at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, where

(00:22):
are now streaming on the iHeart app. My names Rob.
I'm the director of Operations with the Greater South Florida
Chamber of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio
programs the best of South Florida business have with US
corporate Trusting Ambassador Kerry Gilmour, who is one of the
CEOs and founders of Gilmore Chiropractic on Virginia Avenue, Fort Peace,
Fort Pierce, Florida. And she is an excellent, excellent, excellent practitioner.

(00:46):
Her and her whole crew are very very very well
versed within kinesiology, chiropractic, acupuncture, all those different things that
you can have done when you go to a chiropractic offfice.
I've had the pleasure to work a couple of different
healthfairs with them, got to watch them interact with people,
and it's safe to say you like people and you're
concerned about people's well being in their health. We have

(01:07):
about eight minutes nine minutes this morning. What I'd like
for you to do is give out your contact information,
phone number, web address, talk a little bit about your business,
and I want you to mention any promotions or anything
that is going on right now. And I'm proud to
announce that on the eighth of May, we'll be back
at the Havard dol Fen Center for the Boomer Lifestyle
expot and Holistic Health Fare and Carrie and our team

(01:28):
will be there as one of our key sponsors.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Go ahead, Kerry, Thanks Rob, Yeah, thank you so much. Yes,
we have a group of chiropractors and specialists there in
Fort Pierce, right downtown, and we put this together about
twenty five years ago. My husband was a chiropractor and
had had a back surgery and it didn't go so well,

(01:51):
so he needed some support. Found that the chiropractors that
he went to gave him a great deal of relief
and he went back to school crazy, but he ended
up having a lifelong career in chiropractic and along the
way we've met some amazing healers and we have hired

(02:12):
an acupuncturist to help with so many things with pain
interventions for post surgical maybe needs or shoulders. He's helped
them get over allergies, and he often tapes the athletes
for us when they come in. And we also have

(02:32):
a specialist known as a chiropractic neurologist. I'm most excited
about this because in the US there's only about five
hundred of those. So doctor Matthews is a chiropractic neurologist
neurologist who specializes in nutrition and neurology, and so he
works with people for any kind of head injury that

(02:55):
you've had, if you're having issues with memory, or if
you might even just have issues with your balance. So
that specialty is not very common in our area and
we're very excited to have him there to help people
as they're aging or even with injuries amongst them from
sports or car accidents anything like that. So yeah, we

(03:18):
also have a doctor Giardano in they're with us, and
he specializes in extremities, so anybody with you know, like
pain in their elbows, pain in their knees, deep things
like that. Plant fasciitis is a really big one. So
we've brought in. We brought in some therapies that can
help with that. Planer fasciitis seems to be kind of
common for people that work out a lot or stand

(03:40):
a lot and they can't seem to shake it with medicine,
so we have different tricks to handle that. And yeah,
we are excited to be on the show, and we
would like everyone to know that we are there on
Monday through Friday nine to six and eight hundred Virginia Avenue,

(04:02):
Sweet forty five, and that's important pierced of course, right
down from the Sun Center in the eight hundred plaza.
We are Sweet number forty five and our phone number
is seven seven two four six six nine five seven five.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Any promotions going on right now, any new patient specials
or anything else that's going on that you wanted to share.
What's the listening audience this morning.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Yes, we have a Yes, we have a complimentary posture
screening that we're providing for any of our interested patients
or prospective patients to see if they're hipster level, if
they could be having any kind of health issues related
to not having a very good posture. And we always
like to promote our labs that doctor Matthews does for

(04:50):
his functional neurology and those with are twenty percent off
for the next few months. So yeah, if they get
in and mention that they heard me here on this,
we will definitely give them that that perk.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Well. I know that I'm really excited about all the
different things that are going on, and I think I
mentioned it to you off area. If not, I'll do
it with you this morning on air. Not only on
May eighth will we be at the Hbrida Fence Center,
will be that back there in August, October and November,
but also we're going to be in Port Saint Lucy

(05:25):
at the Council on Aging on Bayshore Road on the
June seventeenth. We'll be doing Holistic health Fare and Boomera
Expo there and also again on November eleventh, and then
obviously we have multiple other dates in Port Saint Lucy
that we're working on, as well as some other dates
in Fort Pierce and Baro Beach. We're really excited about
continuing to work with you and your team because you

(05:46):
know it's I don't know you would know, because I
don't know. I know I've went to a chiropractor off
and on for years because I told you injured my
back playing football and mine's just I don't know, it's
pretty much toast, but I just I say, and I'm
glad that I can still move around at my age.
But what would be one of the biggest misconceptions that
you see with your patients. Well, I've heard other people

(06:09):
within your industry tell me that a lot of people
come in and they self diagnose themselves, but when you
take a look at them after the factor, they've taken
a look at them after the fact that they had
given themselves the wrong prognosis. So I know that that
would probably be me. But anybody out there who may
be nervous about coming to a chiropractor for the first time,
what would you want to share with them.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yes, well, we definitely take our time and we specialize in,
you know, just making sure that it's an individualized approach
to every patient's care. So if they come in and
they're having me pain, sometimes it can come from another
area or foot pain. You know, you never know where
headaches can stem from. So if they're having anything that's

(06:53):
going along with that, you know, the guys usually pick
up on it. Really well, and the doctors usually pick
up on it really well, and to their much to
the patient surprise, they get better a lot quicker than
they do if they take medicement over the counter or prescribed.
So the misnomer that I like to say, once you
go to a chiropractice, you don't always have to go.

(07:16):
It's not an addicting thing. It's just that I think
you become We educate our patients, We have them become
more aware of their bodies and they want to come
back when they know they're in tune and they know
what's going on, because if you fix it sooner than later,
we're always better off.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Well, hear that music in the background. What I'd like
for you to do is give out your contact information
one more time, let people know how they can get
a hold of you, and then talk about that new
patient special that you're running until we have you on
next segment. And I want to thank you for your
time this.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Morning, Carrie, Thank you so much. Yes, we're get more
chiropractic and we are located at eight hundred Virginia Avenue,
week forty five. And if you mention us on that,
you hurt us on iHeartRadio we will be having a
promotion for complimentary spinal screenings and discounted lab work, so

(08:05):
please give us a call at seven seven two four
sixty six nine five seven five. We'd love to help
you figure out the roots to your problem or solve
a problem that you just can't seem to fix.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I want to thank you so much for dealing with
us once again. It's been Kerry Gilmore from Gilmore Chiropractic
and Ford Pierce, Florida. Thank you when you have a
wonderful weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:26):

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Your health is wealth. They've got your back. Good morning,
Welcome back, to the show. It is Saturday, March twenty ninth,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here at iHeartRadio
in West Palm Beach, Florida, where we're now streaming on
the iHeart app. I'm Rob the director of operations and
the host of the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce
radio program, The best of South Florida Business have with
us brand new corporate trustee members Gomez Roofing and Solar

(09:28):
Gary Cividanas with me and Gary for the listening audience
out there, we got about nine or ten minutes. I
want to get right into it this morning. What does
Gomez Rooping and Solar Company do? Can you elaborate on
that please?

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Yeah, absolutely, Thanks for the opportunity to be here and
I'm happy to elaborate. So here at Gomez Roofing and Solar,
we're trusted roofing and solar solutions provider serving all of Broward,
Palm Beach and Miami Daye Counties in Florida. We actually
specialize in residential also commercial roofing and that includes everything

(10:00):
Robert from tile, metal, shingle and even flat roofing. And
additionally we offer solar solutions such as the installations solar
water heaters, whole home power backup for storm seasons, and
our focus is really just on high quality service. I

(10:21):
think customer service and customer satisfaction is our two main pillars.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I'd like to hear that, because unfortunately we both agree
that that's somewhat of a lost art in our country. Okay,
how long has Gomez Roofing and Solar Company been in business?

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Touch on that police, Yeah, absolutely, I would love to So.
The company was originally founded in nineteen eighty three, and
that was by Joe Gomes. In twenty twenty one, the
business was actually expanded and grown by Stefan and Philip,
who then took and expanded its focus to include high

(10:57):
quality solar energy solutions to go alongside the roofing that
they've been so established in. This transition has allowed us
to provide comprehensive energy solutions, I think, while maintaining the
high standards that have made us such a trusted name
in the industry for the years.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
You know, years ago wasn't common to see a roofing
and solar company as a hybrid. It's become more common
over the last decade or so. What, in your professional opinion,
makes Gomez Roofing and Solar Company different from other roofing
and solar companies. I'm sure there's several things, obviously, one
of them being you go above and beyond with customer service,

(11:35):
but touch on that please.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Yeah. Absolutely. I think one of the biggest concerns for
most residents in Florida is, you know, they don't want
a solar company touching their roof. And so what we
finally did is we took a long look and said, hey,
what are we really good at? And that's what really
sets us apart is we are a roofing company first

(11:57):
and foremost, so we're going to make sure that your roof,
which protects you the most, is done right. But our
commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is what really sets
us apart. We offer a ten year warranty on all
new roof installations as well as warranties on our solar installations,
so really giving the peace of mind for our customers.

(12:21):
We also use American made products, we provide competitive pricing,
and we also offer some financing options which are really
helpful for the community. Right now. We have things such
as twenty four months no interest and no payments, and
we also have financing options as low as two point

(12:42):
nine to nine percent, which is amazing. And lastly, our
team is highly traded. We prioritize and professionalism, efficiency, and
customer education throughout the roofing and solar process.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yay, Does Gomez Roofing your Solar company offer financing options
for roofing and solar projects?

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Sorry, I don't think I really expanded on that a
second ago, and the answer short is yes. We understand
that roofing and solar are significant investments, which is why
we offer the financing options to make them more affordable
to homeowners. Our financing plans allow customers to spread out

(13:22):
the cost of their projects over months, even years, while
still benefiting from energy savings and increasing home value. We
work with trust and financial partners who provide flexible payment
plans that fit different budgets all over while still being
able to take advantage of the thirty percent residential energy
tax credit that's provided by the federal government on all

(13:46):
these projects.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
That's important. I'm glad you elaborated on that. How does
Guma Gripping and Solar Company help customers save money with
solar energy? Touch on that.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
You know, that's a great question. The short answer is
this solar energy helps homeowners reduce their reliance on the
grid and that leads to a lower electricity bill. Additionally,
installing solar panels can increase property value and provide financial
benefits through tax incentives and rebates. Big thing is with

(14:20):
the optional battery backup systems. Most of our homeowners get
the savings, the increased home value, and now they're also
protected in cases storm does come. They're now longer at
risk of being without power.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
That's extremely important. What is the mission of Goma's rooping
and Solar company.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
The most important. Our mission is to provide entire communities
with access to clean, renewable energy while maintaining the high
standards and roofing. We strive to help these homeowners take
control of their energy costs, reduce the dependence on fossil fuels,
and to contribute a more sustainable future. Robert, Beyond just

(15:04):
installing roofs and solars, we focus on building lifelong relationships
with our customers by offering seamless and professional services.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
You know, I know you're well burst in this and
I'm not, but I, unbeknownst to me until about a
year or two ago. I was not aware of this,
and my family's had rental properties over on the other
coast for years. Most of them are gone now that
we sold them all. My father perished in twenty twenty.
But I did not know until a couple of years
ago that regardless of whether you have solar panels or

(15:33):
you don't have solar panels, that if you're a resident
in the state of Florida, that you're on the hook
for I believe it was somewhere between eight nine ten
dollars a month to be on the grid with FP
and L and a lot of people aren't aware of that.
And obviously I like what you touched on about the
fact that if you do have the panels and sold,
it is going to lower your energy build significantly. Are

(15:55):
there anything going on right now internally with inside the
company from motions, different things that you're doing that you
want to make people aware. We got a couple minutes left,
thought you might want to share some of the things
you're doing. I know we're extremely excited about having you
at all the upcoming home shows we're doing nineteenth of
April and Boy and Beach, were can be with us

(16:15):
at the hurricane Preparedness home show that we're doing on
the twenty eighth and twenty ninth at Sawgrass Mills Mall,
as well as the one that's coming up at the Fairgrounds,
and looking to have you as a regular on our
real estate real estate home improving hours and things along
those lines. But I thought you might want to take
a couple of minutes to share some pearls or wisdom
and talk about any incentives that are going on that

(16:36):
you want to share with the listening audience this morning.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
I would love to take that opportunity, Robert, and thank
you so much. I mean, the easiest way that I
can boil it down to anyone listening today is you know,
you wouldn't buy a home if there wasn't an end
in site. As far as your mortgage, you wouldn't buy
a car if it was in perpetuity, as far as payments.
Everything in life. You know, we understand that, you know

(17:00):
at some point we own it and that makes it
a good investment. Well, with energy up until now, you
never have that opportunity. You know your FTL payment, you
pay it for the rest of your life. And with solar,
not only do you have an end in sight, but
you also have that amazing tax incentive that increase value
to your property. And that's a huge, huge key point

(17:23):
for giving homeowners peace of mind. Absolutely do. We currently
have some specials going on right now. First, I know
it's Saturday, So the first fifteen callers will receive five
hundred dollars off any roof replacement or solar installation. And
one of the lucky callers that calls in that we

(17:46):
pick at random will also be a service with an
upgraded battery system at no cost to them. The biggest
thing is, if you're listening now, call us here at
Gomez Roofing and Solar. Our number is eight seven seven
two o five one two one seven, or guys, just
visit it right on your cell phone. Right online, you

(18:08):
can go to Gomez Dashroofing dot com and you'll find
that for us, the key mission here is to protect,
to renew, and to power your home. Thank you, Robert
so very much for the opportunity today, and I really
look forward to seeing you at that next home show.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Absolutely, we look forward to having you on a regular
basis on these radio programs. I want to thank you
for your time. You have a wonderful weekend, and folks,
make sure you call in let them know you heard
it right here on the Greater South Florida Chamber of
Commerce radio program. I thank you sir, and have a

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Good morning, welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
the twenty ninth of March twenty twenty five. We are
privileged to be here this morning at iHeartRadio in West
Palm Beach, Florida. Woman now streaming on the iHeart app,
have with us longtime corporate trustee Ambassador's Florida State Oriental
Medical Association. It's doctor Cynthia Hayeshurst. She also has her
own practice called Serendipity, located on Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce,

(19:44):
and I'm proud to announce it on May eighth that
her organization and her facility will be with us at
the Boomer Lifestyle Expo and Holistic Healthcare. We're conducting from
ten am until two pm at the Habitdel Fence Center.
What I want to do this morning, I want you
to touch a little bit about on some key points

(20:05):
and factors about your organization as a whole, and know
there's some things that you want to share with the
listing audience. And then I want you to give a
little bit of information about your business and your background
as well. We got about eight minutes. Let's go ahead
and get into it.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
Go ahead, Thank you, Rob.

Speaker 8 (20:23):
I'm doctor cynthiaen Takerst. I am an advanced practice doctor
of acupunction or a medicine. I have a degree that
also does clinical research. I have just returned from London
from a seeking engagement the second International Traditional Medicine and
Modern Medicine Conference in London. I was the guest speakers.

(20:45):
I am the Advocacy chair for the State of Florida's
Oriental Medical Association, and I want people to know that
their acucuncture is a lot more than just needles. It
is lifestyle medicine. It's preventative care, and it's also treatment
for things that are difficult to die. A lot of times,
we can, through clinical assessment and hands on evaluation come

(21:06):
up with some things that have possibly been missed just
because we are so used to treating things as a
piece rather than a whole, and sometimes things are lost
in translation. And we're able to work with your current
healthcare providers to be able to find some of these
missing pieces so that you can get better care and
have an improved quality of life no matter what's going

(21:27):
on with you. We have we are lucky and privileged
to have five different agucuncture colleges in Florida. There's one
in Gainesville, there's one in Orlando, there are two in
Bradington in Sarasota, and then there's also the doctorate program
that I went to. The only doctorate program in Florida

(21:50):
is at Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Rob,
I appreciate that you have added so many more opportunities
on the treasures for us to get an opportunity to
meet with the with the local community and let them
know about all the things that they can learn about
acupuncture to improve their health and their overall well being.

(22:14):
And I look forward to doing these events with you.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
We're really excited about it as well. And unbeknownst to
me until a year and a half ago, two years
ago when you first had privied me to the information
share with the listening audience this morning, how broad FSOMA
is Florida State Oriental Medical Association. But memory serves me correct.
It's thirty five thousand strong state WI Is that right?

Speaker 8 (22:42):
Three thousand, five hundred acupunctures in the state. In the
entire US, they're thirty five thousand, okay. I also represent
it in DC. I'll be there next year. They next
month April twenty fifth through the twenty eighth, I'll be
in DC and at CAP Little Hill, trying to promote
adding acucucture physicians as doctors under primary care doctors underneath

(23:08):
the Medicare National Health Plan. If we get that added,
it has to be added by Congress. The last people
that were added were the chiropractors, so that would be
a huge bonus helping people act as primary care resources.
We are so understaffed with physicians right now that any

(23:29):
extra that we could give would be super helpful to
help everyone.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Obviously, it's safe to say that as organization as a whole,
your mission is to give people an alternative, holistic alternative
versus other traditional methods. And I think it's really neat
that you're doing that because the older you get, the
more open minded you can become. But some people become
more closed minded. But that was the thing that really

(23:56):
impressed me most about your organization as a whole. When
you're dealing with you and your colleagues, everybody's positive, they're
open minded, they're looking to find different ways to help
people improve their state of health, overcome health obstacles, and
to create some form of longevity. And obviously, my father,

(24:16):
God rest his soul, he lived to be ninety seven.
He was lucky. He used to say, it's not the
quantity of your life, it's the quality of your life.
He had ninety five and a half good years. He
had one and a half bad years where he died.
So I think most people would take those numbers. But
it's always neat to have you at the events. It
is because I enjoy listening to you personally. I think
you're an excellent practitioner and obviously it's your organization brings

(24:40):
so much credibility to the events because it's the message
that you're trying to get out to the community. With
that being said, I know there's probably a couple of
things you want to share with the listening audience this morning,
whether it's about the upcoming events and the Treasure Coast
on the eighth of May. And then obviously I think
you see we have the I know you'll be with
us on the seventeenth of July for the Holistic health
Care and Boomera expothe the Council on Aging on Bay

(25:02):
Shore and Fort Saint Lucy as well as I think
we have a total of ten or twelve dates now
between now and the end of the year, and they're
going to add a couple more. So go ahead, thank.

Speaker 8 (25:13):
You, Ron. A lot of people don't realize the education
as an acupuncture practitioner. At a master's level, we have
to pass four national boards to be able to practice medicine.
We have to pay a biomedical exam, which is Western medicine.
We have to pass in urbal exams because that's our pharmacy.
And then we have to pass two boards that regard

(25:34):
that are particular to acupuncture, the theory and practice of
how we practice, and then also the point location and
the reasons why we use these points. So our practice
is much more extensive than most people realize. We use
your labs, we use your imaging, we use your medical
records that the western medicine doctor has. You can get

(25:55):
them covered and paid for by your regular medicine plan,
but scare of them your acupuncture practitioner, because that can
help them guide you to a more well rounded treatment
plan as well. My office is in Fort Tiers. My
name is doctor Sincanne hayes Hurst and I can be
reached at seven seven two five two one three six
three eight. Also, Posoma has there eight hundred number. I

(26:18):
don't have it on MEI Rob, do you have the number?

Speaker 1 (26:21):
I sure do. It's one eight hundred five seven eight

go to support s U P p O R T

you for being with us this morning. On Saturday, March

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
March twenty ninth, twenty twenty five. Privileged to be here
this morning in West Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio Warm
now streaming on the iHeart app. I'm Rob the director
of Operations at the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of our weekly radio programs the best
of South Florida business have with this longtime corporate trusty Ambassador,

(27:41):
longtime member over twenty years he's been with their chamber.
It's Tom Bogden and he is with co Card Merchant
Services and they are the preferred merchant provider for the
Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce and our members and Tom,
it's an ever changing industry. It seems like every day
you turn around, there's something going on, generally from a

(28:02):
technology standpoint, but there's so many different things that are happening,
but we're not want to talk about first and foremost,
I want you to give out your contact information, web address,
phone number, how people can get a hold of you
and folks. I can tell you we worked with a
lot of merchant processing companies over the years. I've only
worked with Tom because of the fact that the customer

(28:22):
service and professionalism get the best rate. But he stays
on top of everything. But he's got an incentive going
on right now where people can generate some additional income,
subsidized or income by doing business with he and his organization.
I'm going to get out of the way and let
you touch on that and anything else that you want
to share with the listening audience this morning.

Speaker 11 (28:41):
Tom, Well, thank you. Rob and again thank you for
having me on the program. It's always a pleasure and
I'm certainly proud to be a long time sponsor, a
corporate sponsor with the Chamber, and we offer local representation
as you mentioned, so you know we're offering some things
out there. That one is a wholesale pricing that they

(29:04):
can do with regular credit card processing, and then the second,
of course is the dual pricing. And by the way,
my contact information, as you mentioned, is Tom Bogden Co
Card Merchant Services. The website is co Card Merchant Services
dot net and our main phone number is nine five
four five five three eight nine three one. So you know,

(29:26):
people talk a lot, as you said you've done. I
talked to a lot of different credit card processors and
some are paper pushers that they just you know, sign
you up and then disappear and you never hear from
them again. And I've always been a fun, firm believer
in working with the merchant, not you know, not across
the table, but on the same side of the table.
So we offer not only customer service, but advice as

(29:49):
far as how they're doing their program, whether businesses might
want to add peripherals like gift cards or incentives and
that type of thing. Along with incentives, somebody who signs
up with us or if they have us come and
see them and set up an appointment or whatever. We
come out and talk to them. We pay two hundred
dollars just for the opportunity to be able to set
up an account. The dual pricing has gotten to be

(30:12):
more and more popular and it's just really the norm
around the country right now.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
And that is where.

Speaker 11 (30:17):
Business owners no longer have to pay credit card fees.
It gets mixed mixed into the mix so that you know,
when you give somebody an invoice or just to pay
at the table type of thing, it says cash price
or credit card price, and that's called dual pricing. And
it's not only card present or we're allowed to do
that and invoicing as well. So if they're of invoicing

(30:38):
someone through their website or a gateway which we can provide,
set up a gateway and present that pricing so that
the customer has the option whether they want to pay
with cash or credit card or write a check.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I like that. That's you know, that's important because you
know I know that you said generally it should be
between three, no more than three half at the most
four percent, But it seems like I've heard a lot
of people tell me that some of the companies they
were working with were four and a half, five over five,
And it's what's your professional opinion on.

Speaker 11 (31:13):
That, Tom, Well, First of all, when we offer our
services to come out and meet with a client, with
a merchant, we offer what's called confidential consultation, so we
take a look at what they're doing and how they're
doing it, how they're charge in their customers. Is it
face to face, is it over the phone, is it
through their website? And hopefully we can offer some insight

(31:33):
into that where they can save some serious money on
their processing. Again, it depends on the volume of business
is doing. But when you're talking about three, three and
a half four percent, yes, that's very realistic. But with
dual pricing, that can come down to zero. So someone's
doing twenty thirty or forty thousand dollars a month instead
of paying eight to twelve hundred dollars a month in

(31:54):
credit card fees, they pay zero at year's end. That
adds up to a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Sure does absolutely and obviously well in today's economy. People
want to save as much money as they can.

Speaker 11 (32:07):
Absolutely, they sure do, and we provide you know, up
up to the up to date and modern equipment. We
supply free credit card terminals and or what they call
a clover station or posys, and we've supplied those free
to the business when they sign up with us, no charge,
just to set it up. When it arives, we come out,
we plug it in, and we show them how to

(32:29):
use it, and they're often running. It's as easy as that.
A lot of people like the confidential consultation because you know,
they sit at their business and they look at their paperwork,
and they look at their bank statements, see what they're
paying and fees and just don't really know what the
next step is and how to get get out from
underpaying those extra fees. And we can provide that, provide

(32:51):
that solution.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
That's very important. It's extremely important.

Speaker 11 (32:56):
And the other thing is, you know, like like you
mentioned at the beginning of the program here is that
we do offer that local customer service. So somebody calls
me they have an issue, I don't run away. I
run to it and get in touch with them, get
back in touch and sit down and see what we
can work out, and if there is an issue or problem,
we help them work it out so that they can

(33:17):
continue running smoothly with accepting credit cards. For those people who,
for those who, people are out there that don't take
credit cards for their business. Statistically, when a business doesn't
accept credit cards and then they start taking them, their
their volume and sales will increase twenty to thirty percent.
Say challenge anybody you know. You know people say, oh,
I don't want to take credit cards, Well I challenge them.

(33:39):
Look to your own wallet and if you've got credit
cards in your wallet and you expect other businesses to
take your payments by credit cards, and like all, you
should be doing the same with your business, and why
not do that so you can increase the volume of
your business.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I love it. That makes a lot of sense, makes
a lot of sense. Tom. We got about a minute
or sow that I want you to give out your
pertinent contact information how people can get a hold of you,
and then I want you to share that promotion again
and anything else that you want to share with the
listening audience this morning.

Speaker 11 (34:09):
I would be glad you're robbed. Thank you so, Tom

Good morning is Saturday, March twenty ninth, twenty twenty five.
We're privileged to be here at iHeartRadio on West Palm Beach, Florida.
We're now streaming on the iHeart app. I am Robb,
the director of Operations from the Greater South Florida Chamber
of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio programs
we do best of South Florida Business News. Have with
us a new members a corporate Trusty Ambassador. Gentleman's name

(36:05):
is Orin Gold and he is one of the principles
with Wall Street Careers. What I'd like for you to do, obviously,
you provide excellent recruiting solutions for people within wealth management circles,
white collar companies. Can you go ahead and give out
your pent contact information, how people get a hold of you,

(36:25):
touch on the locations of your facilities, and then I
want to get right into it this morning. A few
key questions I'd like to ask you.

Speaker 12 (36:31):
Go ahead, sir, absolutely, Rob thanks for having me this morning.
I really appreciate it. Pleasure Wall Street Careers. We have
a few locations. Our main location is actually in Palm
Beach Gardens right on forty five PGA Boulevard, and we
also have a location in New York City in Manhattan.

(36:53):
If anybody wants to reach me directly, they can email
me at Oran that's r. E. N at Wallstreet Careers
dot com and my direct dial is two one two
six six' one four seven five.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Eight Or and there are a lot of different things
that go on in today's world out, there and obviously
WHAT i want you to do is touch on one
of the things and give a couple of key. Reasons
why did you create The Wall Street CAREERS SaaS platform
which connects job seekers to hiring. Managers can you elaborate

(37:31):
on that for the listening audience this.

Speaker 12 (37:32):
Morning, Absolutely Rob. SO a few years ago we saw
the need for a hyper niche platform that caters to
the specific needs of the asset management. Industry so think
traditional asset managers like mutual fund companies and alternative asset
managers like private equity funds and hedge. Funds so these

(37:54):
firms always have a need for, talent and the current
mark market of job job platforms is very. Broad So
LinkedIn anybody from a trash man to a trader could
be on. There indeed the same. Thing so all these

(38:16):
job boards are super broad and you get a lot
of unwanted responses when you post your. Job our platform
was built from the ground. Up that's software as a,
service and we make this tedious process simple and streamlined
with our proprietary.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Technology what makes this platform different or unique from the
competition like LinkedIn or indeeder zip can you elaborate on?

Speaker 5 (38:41):
That?

Speaker 12 (38:42):
Absolutely. So The Wall Street careers platform was created to
make the job job search process easy and streamlined for,
candidates and it enables the employers who actually post their
positions to really swim in a pond versus an, ocean for.
Instance like, LinkedIn indeed Or, zip they have every type

(39:03):
of job and candidate on. It our platform is just
for the asset management, industry so it's very specific and
the candidates are curated just for this, Industry so you're
not going to get any candidates responding to a job
post that isn't.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
Relevant and what have candidates in the market been saying
about this new platform which helps them to connect with
hiring manager and asset.

Speaker 12 (39:31):
Management, well the feedback has been nothing short of. Amazing
they love that they can access the entire industry right
from our, platform so it's one stop shop and that
saves them a tremendous amount of. Time and the employers
love it as well because they're getting a very focused

(39:53):
platform of relevant candidates which lets them save a tremendous
amount of money on content engine fees and erroneous job.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Advertisements what has been the feedback of hiring managers or?

Speaker 12 (40:10):
So our clients love that they could access a relevant
pool of candidates, quickly and most, importantly at a price
point far lower than other platforms Like LinkedIn Or, indeed
so The Wall Street careers platform gets them exactly what
they want and Fest.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
And what other platforms Does Wall Street careers?

Speaker 11 (40:30):
Have?

Speaker 12 (40:33):
So Wall Street careers has a retained search platform for
complex searches that requires stealth in the. Marketplace for, instance
if a publicly traded company or a large private company
board wants to replace a member of THE c suite
like THE, ceo THE, COO, CFO, cto they need to
find that replacement. Quietly they can't make waves in the

(40:54):
market so their investors don't get scared, away which drives
down market. Caps we also have a consulting platform which
offers our clients highly skilled industry professionals for short or
long term engagements across the middle and back office of
our clients'.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
Operations, obviously you're as well versed in this as Anybody
i've spoke to in a considerable period of, time and
you're at the top of the pecking, order if you,
will for lack of a better, grammar when it comes
to your industry. Classification you're, very very well, versed AND
i want to be redundant about. That what do you
see out there right? NOW i mean we have like
two three minutes. Left What i'd like for you to

(41:32):
do is let me give you the, Floor but can
you share some of your pearls of wisdom in twenty twenty,
five as we've went through somewhat of a paradigm shift
and obviously there's a lot of uncertainty and as they,
say a lot of noise out. There can anything you
want to share with the listening audience that may help
them to be successful.

Speaker 12 (41:49):
If you, could, Absolutely if you're a firm that is
looking for. Talent the most important thing you can do
is to be very specific in what you're looking. For
there's a lot of candidates out there and looking for new,
positions but the more detail you can give, them the.

(42:12):
Better and on the flip, side if you're a candidate
looking for a new, role make sure that you're applying
to a relevant. Role do not apply to a job
that you really don't have the skill set. FOR i
know it sounds like pretty basic, advice but you'd be
surprised how many people apply to jobs that they're just

(42:34):
not relevant. For so THAT'S i think the best piece
of ADVICE i could give our listeners this.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
Morning you.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
Know and obviously what you just touched, On i'm sure
there's a couple of other. Things what are some of
the other we don't never like to use the terminology,
mistakes but what are some of the other shortcomings that
you may see people come up with when they're in
this field and they're looking to get hired or they're
looking to staff their. Facilities what are the things that

(43:01):
you would encourage people to definitely not to do if you,
Could can you touch on a couple of? Those?

Speaker 12 (43:06):
Yeah, Absolutely when it comes to a. Resume the resume
has to be clear and to the, point we've seen
so many different versions of resumes that are just so
long winded that a hiring manager who's super busy will
look at it and just throw it. Aside it's got

(43:27):
to hit, them it's got to hit them, quick or
you're not going to get the attention that you. Want
so it's important to have a great. Resume that's why
we actually have an in house resume writer who is
available to help with resume rewrites as an additional service
that our company. Offers and from a company, perspective you,
know again you got to have the right culture and

(43:50):
you've got to be able to talk about some of
the positives about your company that makes that separates you
from other.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Firms or AN i want to thank you for your
time this morning one more. Time if you give out
your contact information that people know how the can get
ahold of you until we have you on next. Segment
it's been a pleasure AND i look forward to conducting
a series of interviews with you over the course of the.

Speaker 12 (44:11):
Year go, ahead, sir, absolutely thank you so much for your.
TIME i can be reached at or in THAT'S. O.

Campbell Walter, Buck campbell you're going to see a lot
of different. Success stories he's, MADE changes i mean significant
changes in people's lives, who were for lack of, better
grammar up. Against it they were going through some serious,
health issues things that could have been detrimental to, their
wellbeing and he helped them turn the corner and they're all,
living strong. HEALTHY lives i want to get out of

(45:55):
the way, this Morning. DOCTOR campbell i want to give
you a chance to, introduce yourself give your, call sign your,
contact information how people can get a hold of you
to set up an evaluation if, need be AND then
i want you to touch on whatever it is that
you want to share with the listening audience. This morning,
go ahead.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
SIR well i wanted to touch on digestion today because
a lot, of people because of The current, american diet
are in somewhat of. A trouble some, maybe not but
for the. Most part, you know if you look at
some videos on YouTube or the, nineteen seventies you're hard

(46:32):
to find. Someone overweight but if you ever Been the,
walmart recently you can see that we could be. In
trouble there's a lot of people that have, excess weaves
and so we have to ask ourselves where's. The problem
if it's, not genetic where? Is it and a lot

(46:53):
of it is in a diet and what we Need
right and were bombarded every day with, the diet, this diet.
That diet, you know, eat meat don't, eat, meat vegetables don't, eat.
Carbs whatever but, if you in, my opinion if you

(47:14):
look at, your ancestors let's let's just Take the eskimos
in nineteen thirty they had one hundred percent meat diet and, a, caribou, whale,
salmon deer you, name it they. Ate it there was,
no blueberries, no salad, no nothing one hundred percent meat and.

(47:35):
They thrived they thrived. Really well they lived well into.
Their nineties if you go the same put time period.
The pygmies they lived in a rain forest and the
ninety percent of their diet came, from, fruits, vegetables roots
leaves from. The jungle ten percent was monkey meat. And

(47:56):
insects if you take a baby from the pygmies and
gave it to an eskimo and tried to raise it
one hundred percent meat diet and, vice versa there could
be some. Serious PROBLEMS and i, think that for the,
most part is what's. Happening now most people are not
looking at their ancestors to see what. They ate If,

(48:18):
you're italian you were. An omnivoy you ate, everything, roots, eats, carrots, fruits, vegetables,
olive oil abob blah bah for. Millennia millennia so you
take this person and want to put them on an
all meat diet or a carnivore diet, or whatever chances

(48:39):
are it's not going to work out.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
Too well for you.

Speaker 5 (48:44):
Because they say a thousand years before that we were.
All carnivores, maybe so but they come in here and
working on these special diets and they don't. FEEL well
i get a girl, in here she's twelve years old
and hasn't had, a period and when she was nine,
years old she saw they killed animals and didn't want

(49:05):
to eat meat because they, killed animals and so she
ate a lot of fresh fruits, and vegetables but she
did ate meat and she had a hard time making
blood from. A, period now my personal, opinion is and
there's a lot of disagreement, out there but you can't
make blood from turnips, or beefs even though it's got
a lot iron. In it, you know we've been eating meat,

(49:27):
for millennia depending on your culture where your, roots are
but for the, most part most cultures, ate meat and
you from meat you can, make blood especially beef which
has red blood. In it you eat a, steak rare
that steak is red because it's got blood. In it

(49:49):
that blood is almost exactly the same as our. Blood
hemoglobin so the girl wouldn't eat, any MEAT.

Speaker 10 (49:56):
So i gave her.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
Liver capsules she had five little. Capsules day at the
end of, the month she had her period and she
had enough blood to make a period and.

Speaker 12 (50:05):
She felt light.

Speaker 5 (50:06):
Years better so regulating a diet for yourself. Really helps
be carefully in the. Food, eat now the worst things
you can do is eat. Bad oil that thing will
clog stuff up. Better anything and we're, told that especially

(50:26):
in the fifties and sixties who was, total bs that
seed oils were good. For us they're part of a.
Balanced diet, you know probably, unsaturated fat which you, know
crisco which is nothing but cotton seat oil or died
to insectifide and. Genetically modified all that stuff, is hydrophilic

(50:49):
wins up in the oil and it's not regulated because
you don't, eat cotton but you did definitely eat the.
SEED oil i, don't know all the. Same thing it's
genetically modified and the process thing doesn't, help it and
so you get all this bad oil on you and
it can jam things up when. You're old there's too
much mileage on. Those organs they need more time. To

(51:10):
recuperate my, personal opinion so THAT if i have somebody
who's having trouble having them do this, intermittent fasting after
two or, THREE weeks i start losing a half a
pound to a pound. A week you can't make. That
up and they don't change, their DIET although i try
to change a biting organic fresh foots and vegetables and.

(51:31):
RED meat i think chicken and fish, are okay but
they don't. Make blood there's no blood, in it and
the muscle and the chicken and the muscle and the
fish is. Completely, different, boy, WELL.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Doc i hear that music in. The background So what
i'd like to do over the next thirty to forty.
FIVE seconds i want to. Thank you that was. VERY
informative i want you to give out your contact information
