First of all, want to say how sorry we are
that we've been through such an emotional rollercoaster for the
last six years.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
It's been more than I could have ever imagined. Everything
was so normal in the morning, you know, we both
did our normal routines, had coffee. He actually cooks the
breakfast that morning.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
And then what he kissed.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Me goodbye, he said goodbye the kids. He left for
work like he always does, all the same normal things,
you know, and just never showed up to work.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
So you were waiting at home. Then you find out
he doesn't come home. Then you find out he never
showed up for work that day, and yeah, it must
have been absolute panic.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
First, I thought something must have happened to him. I
thought maybe he was in an accident. I didn't know
what to think. I exhausted every law enforcement, every hospital
I could call. I tried everything. I was just trying
to figure out what happened.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Trying to put the pieces together. Now, keep in mind,
ladies and gentlemen, keep in mind, this happened six years ago.
She then turned to a private investigator.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I could only a ford him for a year, though
I went him for a year.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
For a year, now a missing person. What did the
private investigator come up with?

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Nothing? He couldn't find him.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
After a year. You're no longer paying this private investigator.
What happened next?

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I couldn't afford him after a year. I mean it
was a lot of money. And I didn't know this,
but for five years he was basically putting feelers out
on his own because he was like obsessed with trying
to find him too.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Five years later, she gets a call from the private investigator.
Private investigator said, I know where your husband is. Oh
to take your time, take your time on, take your time.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
He found him and he's living in Arizona under a
new name, who remarried with two kids.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Okay, so you don't have his cell phone, you don't
have his home phone, you don't, but you do know
where he works.

He's a manager at a grocery store in Phoenix, Arizona.

I absolutely cannot stand this man. I don't know him.

this guy.

Wow, his name, his real name is Troy. But what's
he using now, Catherine?

Speaker 2 (03:27):

is the problem? I'm a little confused right now.

Well, we could start six years ago. Some items that
I purchased from your store, and I'm hoping that you know,
some of the packaging was a little loose and I
was really nervous about it, and I went to bring
it back to the store six years ago.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Your problem with this store dates back six years our return, Paulic. Oh, yeah,
there's probably not much I can do about whatever that happens.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Well, how long have you been with the store.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
I've been with the organization about four years?

Left back in Long Island with two kids. We have
located you. It has taken a private investigator six years
to locate you. You do realize the damage that you've
caused with a family back home in Long Island and
sadness that you have and you've broken the law.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Well, I think that what's going on here is a
private investigator has done a pretty bad job for somebody,
and that's unfortunate. I know your boys, you're dead.

Speaker 3 (06:41):

Speaker 5 (06:48):

I know you've been asking about this one for the
last couple of months. This Seaday, this is a four
month old updates. So we spoke with Catherine yesterday. She
went to a nasauc County detective, then in turn, he
took it to the FBI. OH FBI did some investigations.
They ended up picking him up in Arizona.

Turns out that this husband that ran out on his
wife six years ago was wanted for some sort of
financial Ponzi scheme. Six years prior, he allegedly took three
dozen senior citizens for hundreds of thousands of dollars. No,
there's your update. Yeah, and she's beside herself. She already

wrote him off. Apparently we talked, Anthony, and I talked
to her last night.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Rode him off.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
So he was on the run from the law.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
That's why he split exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
And then Anthony asked the question do you feel better
about it? Which was a good question, Anthony, and she says,
I go thank you. She says, yes, I do feel
better about it because the guy's a criminal.
