Reggie and Amber first met on Bumble a few weeks ago and it only took them a week before they went on their first date where they got drinks with one another. They actually went on two more dates so Reggie thought things were going in the right direction because they even had an “adult sleepover” on their third date. However, ever since then Reggie hasn’t heard back from Amber and he isn’t sure why because he felt like things went great before and after she slept over.

We call Amber trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Reggie that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and Amber tells us that she wasn’t a fan of Reggie putting headphones on in the bedroom. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Interns Jean and Your Morning Show.Second date, up date, you meet
somebody, could be in person, could be on an app. You have
some dates, you think everything's goingwell, you think there's a real connection,
but then all of a sudden, you can't get ahold of them.
We tracked figure out what's going on. Let me bring him on Reggie,
Good morning, sir, good morning. Let's um, let's get through that.

(00:21):
So you and Amber met how wemet on bumble um and you know,
we messaged back and forth for Imean, it wasn't very long,
probably not even a week, andwe really hit it off. We went
on our first date, look greatone on our second date. Let's pause
for a second. First date waswhat first date was just a couple of

(00:45):
quick drinks to make sure we lookedlike our pictures, that I'm as tall
as us, that I was okay, okay, And then yet second date,
the second date was you know, dinner, and then we had dessert
and coffee over dinner, which wasplanned on doing, and just kind of
stayed and stared into each other's eyes. Got you. Then the third date

(01:06):
was a quick dinner and back tomy house. Okay, And so that's
that's why I kind of wanted totalk about a little bit. So we
have not heard from her since thethird day. Correct, we've not heard
from her since the third day.Okay, and so whose idea was it
to go back to your place? It was her idea? Actually, yeah,

(01:26):
like I've got a really cool dog. That was a picture on my
phone and she saw it. Iwouldn't pay an attention to my phone,
but I got a message and whenthe phone lit up, she saw the
picture of the dog. It's mylock screen. She was like, oh,
I want to meet it meets socute. And he went back and
we opened a bottle of wine andstarted talking. I don't know that the

(01:48):
plan was for her to stay over, but after the wine, we both
were a little too drunk to orat least over served enough to not drive
or want to be responsible. Ialso wanted to like kind of play things
by the book. And I meanI was getting signals, but I didn't
want to think anything was assumed.Sure, I offered to sleep on the
couch. She was like, no, sir, you get in this bedroom.

(02:12):
It was it was nice. Wehad some adult time and uh,
it was. It was good. But since then we have not heard from
her right or it's been very muchnothing since then, pretty much nothing,
you know, just a little kayto a message you know that I sent,
and other than that, nothing. We're coming up. It's gonna be
fourth of July. I'd like tomake plans. I'd like to maybe watch

(02:36):
the fireworks with her and then havesome fireworks of her own. Okay,
sure, but but I haven't heard. I hadn't heard anything. Okay,
let me do this all. Callher and try get to go on with
us, because I do like thefact you offer sleep on the couch and
do a gentlemanly thing. This seemsodd that somebody would invest three days and
then just leave. Yeah, Iget it too. With the fourth coming

(03:01):
up and you know, plans andthe whole thing. Hello. Hi is
this Amber. This is hey Amber. It's in Turns John. I got
Rose here as welcome your morning.Shown. We talked to you in the
air real quick about something nothing bad. Yeah, sure, okay, awesome,
birm. I appreciate. All right, we're doing a second date update.

(03:21):
I have somebody on hold right nowon the other line. Reggie,
if you want to say Hi,Reggie, Hi, Hello, perfect,
Okay, So Reggie reach out tous. Ambury told us you guys mashed
on bumble that we had a coupleof dates that the last date, which
was last week, you guys dinnerend up having an adult sleepover and basically

(03:42):
since then, he hasn't heard fromyou, and so we're trying to figure
out what went wrong or what yourvibe is right now. Oh okay,
so umbly did hit it off?It was we had a great time.
I had a I did have agreat time with you, Reggie. Like

(04:03):
the chemistry was there. Um,just it's just okay. So when we
went back to your place and um, you know, we're about to get
in the move, about to havea little adult time, and the chemistry

(04:24):
was there and everything was there.Ye uh right when we was about to
get into that moment, like whenwe're you put on headphones. We was
to me like like headphones like notearbuds or EarPods or anything like that like
that. Okay, wait, Imean catch you off Amber. So when

(04:46):
we when we were having adult time, Reggie was wearing his beats by dre
Yes, Yes, the entire time. The entire time. I mean like
I couldn't hear the music. Yeah, I know, it was, But
Reggie, is that true? Yeah, but I mean it's not like I'm
listening to a podcast, and it'snot like the lights were on, right,

(05:09):
okay, them by the bedside table. I didn't It wasn't a big
deal. I didn't have to pullhim out of the case. I just
the lights were off. I slippedthem on. I wear them for rhythm,
just like put it on a speakerfor every one here. Yeah,
maybe is it just a metronome. It's kind of like it's kind of like
a metronome. It's got the rightit's got the right rhythm. But like

(05:32):
I can really I can really feelit, like I try it. Okay,
speaker, but Reggie, he seemedto like the result. Oh,
okay, is this a common I'mno judgment, Reggie, but this a
common practice. Well, I'm notthat active, so I don't want to
say it's common and make it thinklike you know, but when I am

(05:55):
active, Yes, yes, Idon't think it's I don't think it's that
big a deal. Okay, that'sthe best. And the lights are off
and that kind of I didn't evenknow if she knew I had a mole
on. Well, let's this I'mgonna put you guys in hold. Are
we Team? Amber? Team Reggieeight seven seven, nine nine five four
six eight one to call, ninenine three three eight to texts it's second
date update in turns John in yourMorning Show Second Date update intern John and

(06:18):
your Morning Show. We just talkedto Amber and Reggie. Would love your
thoughts eight seven, seven, nineninety five four six eight one to come
nine nine three three eighth and textsShelby Sauce your first second date update your
thoughts. Um. I thought itwas really kind of like obviously it's rude
that he did that, but it'salso creepy, like why is that your
thing? Like like it's just whatdo you have metronome in the room and

(06:41):
said though like he's just you know, keeping pace. I don't know,
ask you a smart device to playthere is that something so you can both
hear it. But also it's justalso how they stay on, how the
headphones stay on. Well, ifhe's keeping a consistent rhythm, he probably
um their workout headphones that type ofthing, TM saying, depending on the
vibe, but it's a bad butany song probably be harder. But if
it's a slower song like Luke Combs. Maybe it's a little bit easier to

(07:03):
keep in mind it CRUs me out. I don't like anything about that should
be a deal breaker for you.Yeah, I would be like, get
out, get out of my apartment. Okay, that's a sauce rose.
Your thoughts such a deal breaker? Are you kidding? Look? Did he
not think that she wouldn't notice? How completely self centered do you have to
be to completely block out the personthat you're having a relation with. Nope,

(07:26):
you don't want to hear you.I want to hear this music.
Yeah, what if I'm a speakerfor everyone to hear, for everyone to
enjoy? You still get the metronomemusic, would you? Why? Yeah?
And you can be in the momentwith the person. If that were
me, I would be like,I am literally here just for you to
have fun, like you do notcare about me. I think my favorite

(07:49):
part is to envision the fact withsomebody who's listening to heaphones you can barely
hear it. So you're having relationsand then you just kind of like hear
in the background, like faintly. You go listen, man listening to the
Goopy movie soundtrack, and he's melisten to power Line. You definitely have
judge, ye have let me go. Oh my goodness, there's some people

(08:11):
call it in Sykesville. Angela, good morning, good morning. What do
you want to say with a Secondayupdate? Girl? Oh lord, that's
like he's having sex with himself.Yeah, like you might as well get
a rubber doll, you know.Okay, Angela, thank you so much
for calling a fantastic day. Mygoodness, let me go, Jamie,

(08:37):
good morning, good morning. Whoside you want a second day update?
I'm on team Amber's side. Yeah, so this happened to you, Jamie,
you wouldn't be down. This wouldbe a no go. It would
be a no go. Like there'ssome things that people are willing to deal
with and some things that people aren't. Yeah. But the thing is that

(08:58):
Reggie need an external stimuli in orderto go through the sex with Amber or
I'm sorry, to go through theadult night with Amber. And and that
is something that she's looking at wherehe's not looking at it, likes that
at all. He can't see itfrom her point of view, and that's
a red flag. It's something thatcan be fixed. Yeah, and Jamie,
they let me ask this if it'sair pods. Does that make a

(09:20):
difference versus beast by dre No,because it's external Simuli. I justesn't imagine
what if Amber needed What if Amberneeded something else in order to go through
the night. It makes her feelless them for some reason, she's not
enough to help him through it.Sure, I understand you can really practice
without Yeah, absolutely, Jamie.Thank you for going a fantastic day,

(09:41):
no problem, having a good day. Hey, let me go in the
district, Megan, get our name, good morning, your thoughts, a
second day up date? What doyou want to say? So I wouldn't
say that I'm team Amber, butI kind of feel bad for Reggie,
So I want to know what songhe was listening to so I can kind
of defend him. Yeah, letme ask you this, Megan, What
song for you would be a nogo? Like if we're doing like Sam

(10:03):
McLachlin arms the Angel Za Nogo gosh, yeah, yeah, I think that's
the dog. What we're doing?Movie soundtracks? What movie soundtrack would be?
Okay, a little rocky action, yeah, may Twilight something like that.
Yeah, it's it's a valid question. Megan. Thank you so much
for calling. Have a great Day, Thank you Bye somebody, Tech sitting

(10:26):
Team, Amber deal Breaker. Yeah, I kissed the neck and ears to
get by the headphones. Yeah ifyou why do a second it update.
