(00:03):
It is second date update. Ifyou knew the show, you match with
somebody, you meet them in person, you feel like there's a vibe,
but then all of a sudden theystop talking to you. We try to
figure out where things went wrong. We bring her back on. So Natalie,
you and Andrew met where we meton hings actually and that was how
long ago? Two months ago?Okay? And the way this is a
(00:26):
little bit different though, is alot of times like a second day update,
you see each other once, butyou guys went on like dates every
week for how long? Yeah, for like almost the whole time, like
almost right away since we started talking, you know, we started dating and
we really hit it off. Sothat's why I'm so confused like that I'm
in this situation though, sure,And by dates? Are we talking like
(00:48):
dinner? Movie acts? Throwing likethis give us a kind of vibe if
you would. Well, you know, we started out just like going for
coffee and walk and stuff like you'recasual, but we've been on a couple
of dinner dates. We actually wentto a museum together as well. Oh
wow, okay, that's fun,big big question, which one, Oh,
the Aaron Space Museum. That's theone that's the only one I have
(01:11):
not been to yet, and Ikeep here and that's amazing. It was
okay, side that wasn't sick,so awesome. You definitely have to okay,
all right, So we did thatand everything's fine, like we're getting
along. We had not had thefull on boyfriend girlfriend talk though, right,
We're just we're dating. We're theprocess of going on dates exactly.
Yeah, we're not like serious oranything, all right, Okay, and
then so, um, two weeksago, it's the last time we really
(01:34):
saw in person what happened with thehappy hour? Yeah, so it was
like, um, it was likeon a Wednesday, I think two wednesdays
ago, we went for a happyhour with my friends, and you know,
I thought we had a great time. We got along with everyone.
I was actually pretty impressed. Andyou know, ever since then, he's
(01:55):
kind of been like giving me likereally short replies to my text, Like
I send him like a whole paragraph, you know, not too long ago,
and he just replied like like yeah, and so in regard to the
happy hour, this is an intentionalthing of like it's trying to meet the
friends. Is it just some understandingfor sure? Well, I wasn't like,
(02:15):
hey, my friends, but Idid offer. I said, hey
me, and you know, myfriends are going out, like, would
you like to join us? Youcould meet them? You know for sure?
That's want to make sure. Okay, So let me do um this
because I think of like the andI guess follow question the friends thing.
Are you worried that one of yourfriends may have said something? Is that
possibility? Yes, like I didn'thear anything, but maybe something was said,
(02:38):
you know when I'm listening. Okay, as a whole different can worms.
Okay, So let me do thisthen we'll calm them up. Um
because if it is just like yourfriends saying something they shouldn't, um,
that's not okay, especially if it'ssomebody you've been talking to you for like
a little bit. I only tryand get them on with us. One
second, little ring and ding ding, Hello? Hi is this Andrew?
(03:16):
Uh? Yeah, yeah Andrew. My name is Interns John I at Rose
here as welcome Mary Show. Wetalked to you in the air real quick
about something real quick. Nothing bad. It's real quick, perfect. I
appreciate it. Something bad. We'redoing a second date out of day.
I'll get ready to it. Man, we got somebody on the line,
Natalie, if you want to sayhi, Hi Andrew. Perfect and so
(03:38):
Andrew Natalie told us, um,kind of, you guys a story.
We matched on the hinge, wenton some dates basically for the course of
a month or two. And howum ever since when happy with our friends
last two Wednesdays ago, you kindof and distance. We're trying to figure
out if a friend said something orwhat's going on. Oh um, no,
(04:01):
yeah, I mean happy hour,Happy hour was was was fine.
I could just kind of just behonest. Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
Uh yeah, I mean I waskind of starting to be uh off put.
You know, I guess earlier thanthat. It was earlier than there
was a week before. Uh basically, you know, she says she would
(04:26):
come over, uh stay the night, like yeah, obviously, yes,
she was come over day of thenight. And I thought it was gonna
be great because it was kind ofone of the first times she was doing
that. And uh but she showsup with one of those like big old
like cue of plastic bag sheet sets. Okay, and it was like there
was a sheet and a top sheet. She brought her own bedding. Yeah
(04:53):
yeah, yeah, in her ownblanket. Everything, and then I honestly
like, I don't know what itwasn't do with that, Natalie? Is
that is that a little bit much? Is that true? Yeah? Okay,
I didn't think that was weird though, Like I didn't even think of
that as something that could be amissue. Do you often bring like your
own blanket and cheese and stuff oversomewhere? Oh yeah, anytime I'm going
(05:18):
over anywhere, I'm bringing my ownstuff. You know, I'm accustomed to,
you know, my style of living, you know, So okay,
I just always bring my stuff whenI'm sleeping over, even like hotels or
now oh yeah, especially hotels.Okay, so all right, and no
joshment of course, but Andrew,so am I misreading this? But it
(05:38):
just because that was a little bitoff putting or it seemed like it was
too much. I mean, whatdo you think now, I'm asking you,
I'm asking you. We have we'vetalked about before where guys are not
torious to only have one set ofsheets that we don't sure, let's be
wrong, when was the last timeyou clean your sheets? So I could
see this being as like a precautionarything, like wish she wasn't expecting to
(06:00):
sleep in your bed and she justwanted to have like an extra para sheets
just in case. Maybe. Yeah, I've always been accommodating this whole time,
you know, Okay, And Idon't smell like like like dukie or
anything. All right, Yeah, let me guess I'm gonna I'm gonna put
you guys in hold. Are youteam Natalie or Team Andrew eight seven seven
(06:21):
nine nine five four six. Theywanted to call me tax is second date
update on your morning show, Katissay, I'm torn on this second date
updating morning show. We just talkedto Natalie and Andrew. I'd love your
thoughts eight seven seven nine nine fivefour six say one. I was thinking
because because of the fact they've beentalking and slash going on dates for two
(06:43):
months, you kind of know eachother decently well. So I'm trying to
think, like, if somebody broughtover like sheets and stuff to my place,
do they have an impression that I'mdirty? AF I think that'd be
my first reaction. It's like,yeah, it's it's it's out of place
thing, especially if I didn't knowabout it, like if it was just
like all of a sudden, there'sthe betting stuff. I feel like you
(07:04):
could give a heads up. MaybeI don't know. That's where I get
stuck. I feel like there shouldhave been like some sort of conversation,
yeah, which usually I feel likeis the case. But I guess I
would probably feel a little bit slighted, Like, am I that dirty?
Not granted? Yea? That growsit? You don't even want to sleep
some sheets. I have a showercurtain I've had for ten years. It
(07:24):
gets washed, but it's the jungletheme because like I had to turn keep
that up. Yeah, I mean, everybody know it's going on the bathroom
A little jungle times jungle in there. Shut certainly is let me go in
Pasadena, Amanda, good morning, good morning. What you want to say
with a second day update? Ilove her side because I bring my pillow
(07:45):
with my my Tampa Peeda pillow withmy silk pillowcase and a blanket wherever I
go, even if it's to mymom's house, I'm always bringing my pillow.
On vacation, I'll bring my pillow. It's also comfort thing. It
makes you feel like, Okay,I got my blanket on my pillow.
I could sleep comfort to night.Because some people have some bad pillows.
You never know. Yeah, thatis so true. Do you have like
a you make room in your suitcase, Amanda, Like if you're going out
(08:07):
of town, like bring the wholething. Um, I get a garbage
bag and I put my pillow ina blanket in there, and I just
taking it with me. People thinkyou're homeless. There's that, Amanda.
I'm gonna say this. You know, I love Pasadena, but pretty on
brand for somebody to be carrying justa pillow and a blanket in a trash
bag. Yeah. Hey, yougotta do what you gotta do. No
(08:28):
judgment here, all right, Amanda, thank you for calling. You have
a great day. Thank you tobye bye. Let me go and Hernedan
Gabby, good morning, good morning. Your thoughts a second, they update.
What do you want to say?Well, firstly, Anatoli's concern is
valid. I definitely bring my ownsheets when I go to hotels. But
(08:50):
I am on Andrew's side because Ithink it's a communication thing, and I
think that he just feels like ifthe vibes were right and they were on
the same page it was feeling good, then maybe she would be able to
bring that up with him and thentalk to him about it beforehand. Yeah,
and I had this to Gabby.I think I because I was a
I was afraid of commitment for Idon't know, good five years there.
(09:13):
I would probably be afraid that you'removing in, Like that'd be my first
reaction. It's like, oh,you're you're you're like bringing stuff and already
oh yeah, you know what Imean. Yeah, when someone shows up
with their own ved sheets, thatcan be a shock. So I definitely
think that a communication is to behere. Gabby, thank you for calling
it a great day. You too. Right now. On the flip side,
(09:35):
I've had to buy satin pillowcases Rosebecause I've I've learned through Molly that
the satin ones are better for hairand yeah, yeah, so that's that's
very had no idea and no,it's like I just had the regulars ones.
There we go. Miguel in DeltaPa J ask you morning, good
morning. What do you want tosay of the second day update? I'm
(09:58):
definitely on teeing Natalie. I playingmy pillow everywhere I go, Like I'm
going to Europe in two weeks andit will be in my carry on.
Where are we going in Europe? To London. Very nice. Okay,
we all trust the British with theirpillows other side of the bed. It's
not that I don't trust anyone,Like I don't even let my kids lay
(10:18):
on my pillow like that is nine. You have yours? Yeah, yeah,
we don't need to share them.Yeah, especially like if it works,
it works. It's almost like asuperstitition too, where you don't want
to risk it. Have a fantastictrip. Yes, thank you so much
