Speaker 2 (04:23):
I love I use it every day. I love it.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
The other thing I like about it is you can
get TV from all across the country, So if you're
trying to watch local television like back home where my
folks aren't Indiana, want to see what the weather's like
or see what's going on with the story in a
certain part of the country. I can do that. You
can do that too. It's it's pretty it's pretty incredible stuff. Hey,
are are the tariffs working well? You know what's interesting.

(04:46):
Elon Musk is already kind of a part of what
is going on. I gotta share this behind the scenes
of what Elon is doing in Michigan Wall Street. Ah's
just shared Elon's secret Michigan Empire.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Listen to what the this. Kevin J.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Moss is the state Centator Holland grand Haven, Hudsonville, talking
about what is what the secret that's happening behind the
scenes with Elon. I don't think this is probably the
first time I heard it. I don't think I knew
this before.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Un Musk came in bought up Rivier a tool and Die.
But and this is before Donald Trump became president. So
he came in bought up Rivier a Tool and Die
because he wanted to start producing his stamping tools in
the United States and instead of Asia. Because he was
realizing there's a lot of problems that they were encountering
with these foreign made tools, and it's hard to solve
a problem when you have a language barrier. So he

(05:33):
bought up Rivier a tool and die in Grand Rapids.
And when he bought that up, he took a company
that was on the verge of bankruptcy, that couldn't hire anybody,
turned it, turned it into something awesome. I mean the
number of people that Tesla Grand Rapids now hires to
build stamping tools right here in Grand Rapids. And then
not just that, he farms out the work that Tesla

(05:53):
Grand Rapids can't handle, to Auto Die, to Artiflex, to
Greenville Tool and Die, to Walker tool and Die to
basically every die shop here in this region is making
stuff for Tesla. He I don't know the number, but
it's in the thousands upon thousands of jobs he has
created just in West Michigan because he wanted to make
his parts in America. It's how can you hate that?

Speaker 2 (06:17):
They can't? You really, you really can't. And that's incredible.
And that's the story.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I guess I didn't know all the details, and i'd
heard some of these things before, but that's that's something
I had no.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
A Musk came in bought up Riva or a tool
and Die.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I mean, that's pretty that's pretty incredible.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
And again, Muddy where the mouth is, but also he
sees what the play is ahead. I'm telling you, I
had some great conversations this week about the tariffs, how
they're working, how well they're working, and what you know
shows us that they are, and what the intent of
them are essentially, what it's all going to mean, and

(06:53):
why we have to do it. You know, there's some
staggering statistics that that you know, I share with you
and I'll share more, but you know, the devastation to
the wealth of the middle class, that's the working man
so to speak, and woman here in America. The devastation
to the middle class. What has happened is well, it's

(07:14):
you know, because you've seen it up close and personal.
Not just you know the financial or you know, the
economic side of things.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
You know that people want to talk.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
About, but there's real, everyday, real life consequences to people's lives.
As matter of fact, there's you know, it's a whole
other thing, but it's they call it death by this
death is despair. In other words, here in America, people
are dying. Don't you think we ought to figure out
why and maybe do something to stop it. People are dying.
Almost a decade earlier, than Coharts in other countries. Don't

(07:48):
you think we ought to maybe dig into that. Don't
you think maybe we ought to figure out why. There's
a number of reasons people will give you and tell you,
but one of the one of the reasons folks who
deal with this subject in any basis have realized, is
it it is you know, when you take work away
from people, when you take their purpose away, you know

(08:11):
the dignity of being able to do those things, and
it's it's it's so important. Anyway, I will talk more
about that. Had some great conversations while I was in
DC in a swamp fireside chat. Coming up this week,
We're going to get into those things, and I'd love

(08:32):
to share some of that with you. I think it's
it's so.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Important.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
This is going to be an interesting weekend. I know
that's for sure. President Trump is headed to Rome the
funeral and services of the Pope. That's the other thing
that happened while I was gone, big one really to
kick off the week, Pope Francis. The death of Pope
Francis day after Easter, and he will be representing President

(09:07):
Trump and his wife Belania will be representing the United States.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
And going to Rome, where we'll be attending the funeral
of Pope Francis. Some of you are going to go.
Anybody going, and it's going to be very interested. We're
going to meet with a lot of the foreign leaders
they want to meet. Trade deals are going very well.
I think Russia and Ukraine, I think they're coming along.

(09:32):
We hope he's very fragile, and Iran I think is
going very well. We'll see what happens. We go working
on plenty of things that shouldn't be worked on, because
none of this stuff should have happened. They should have
been taken place by Biden. It should have been fixed
by Biden, but he couldn't do it, nor could he
come close to doing so. Anyway, we're going to Rome

(09:53):
to fair respects and we'll be leaving that same day.
We'll be coming back home tomorrow night, and I'll see
some of you over there. Otherwise I'll see you on television.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
A Trump also saying that Jijien Ping, by the way,
you don't miss this, Chinese president himself, Ji Jimping, has
called him to discuss trade deals. This is uh, this

(10:23):
is a big this is a new development. Have you
spoken to President g on the TARIFFSPOTUS.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I don't want to comment that.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
I've spoken the many time, but we're hearing reports today
that he has spoken with the fact. Fox News just
ran a big headline.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
On there you spoke with presidentcy Have you spoken to
him since.

Speaker 6 (10:41):
The terrence let me go? I don't want to. I
don't want to comment on that, but I've spoken to
him many times.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Can't share all the cards, sucks. Can't share it all,
of course. Uh, it sounds like they are working to
get a deal.

Speaker 7 (10:56):
Deal.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
By the way, that's the point of these terrorists is
to balance out the trade. We have imbalances and trades.
We have surplus and you have deficits, et cetera. And
what does that mean. I'll give you the example when
we're dealing with countries like China, who are the worst

(11:17):
of the worst. Right, We're dealing with countries like China.
They are exporting things to us at exponential levels, but
they will not take goods from us. And when you
do things like that, you and enrich countries like China
who essentially hate us. They want to be the next
big world superpower. And then you allow them to come

(11:37):
in and buy up assets here in America, including farmland
and other things. See, these globalists don't care who owns what.
We're talk more about this in the days ahead, but
these are big pieces of the puzzle. And in the
first one hundred days here in Michigan and throughout the country,

(11:59):
Trump's Trump's policies are making a big impact. They're already
we're already starting to see the impact that they're having,
which means a lot.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
It does.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Take the border, for example, how many border crossings have
been absolutely brought to a grinding halt, and how great
that is. It takes some of the deportations of things
have been going. And by the way, forget MS thirteen.
What about this guy? Charlie Leduff makes the point he's

(12:31):
a big name on the terror watch list. My orc
has let him in any way, So Charlie making his
business with his latest piece on X to get him out.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
He's not here now? Is he working? Yeah? Does he?
Is he allowed to work? Terror watch list? He's working.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I found out the Border Patrol caught a man and
his family's sneaking in over the Texas border last November.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
His name is Asam Basi.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
He's listed on the terrorist watch list as a high classified,
known or suspected terrorists. Anyhow, they let him in any way,
he's living here in Dearborn. I've been brought mister Bozzi
a housewarming gift.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yeah, from a dead man's way.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Now I don't know much about the man except he's
got no manners. I mean, he never thanked me for
the plant I left on his porch.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Covin here for.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
A year and a half now no sign of the guy.
He's on a fun terror watch list. This is his brother?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Well is he living with you? I've been coming over
the months, and nobody ever answers the door or put
out of the door.

Speaker 8 (13:58):
Did you get that it was a gift?

Speaker 2 (14:09):
It's the government documents. It's not me, it's the FBI,
it's Homeland Security. Is your brother working?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
We're going in the year for this guy in our country?
And now there's a clearer picture of why this guy's
on the terrorists watch list. Bozzi was a wealthy man
back in Venezuela with yachts and luxury condos. According to
congressional testimony, he has ties to Venezuela's former vice president,

(14:41):
Tariq Alissami, who has alleged ties to Hesbella and who
is on isis ten most wanted lists for smuggling in
tons of narcotics into the United States. A week before
he jumped the Rio, grand Mazzi attended an Alissami family funeral.
So you've figured he'd like the plant side laugh, Senor Basi.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
Yeah, is cardelitos le d el perio distoo.

Speaker 6 (15:16):
To address rita, Senor Senor Basi.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Then we saw an old lady pop out the side door.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Man, I'm looking for is Sam Basi? Yes, he's here,
He's not here?

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Is he working? Does he is he allowed to work?

Speaker 9 (15:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Is there a way I can get ahold of him?

Speaker 2 (15:39):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
So he's still in the country.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Is he still in the country?

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
I'll take that as a yes.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
So to review, he wades in across the rio three
years ago, a hit on the chair of watch list. No,
but he seems to know where he's at.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Or if he went to immigration court.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
And he's working, that's the new America. Bos Ooh, she
left the gate open. I'll just close that. Don't want
anybody sneaking in.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Wow, that was great work. Charlie oh Man he's always
he's always great.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
I just you gotta love him. I put that in
the stack for you if you want to see it today.
It's over on xen for the folks that enjoy are there.
I can't get enough. I can't get enough.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
It's always, always, always good stuff. All right? What else
is out there? I gotta make sure that I should here?

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Now?

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Did you see the Trump twenty eight all they're freaking
out of it. They're already freaking out about this is
going to be Trump twenty twenty eight. This is going
to be the next big thing. Are already pushing this
on cnm, MS, DNC and the rest of them, the
hats Trump twenty twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
There it is Trump? Was it Eric Trump?

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I think originally Eric was the one wearing the hat
and somewhere online freaking them out, They just they just
they lost it and so they had it.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Oh well, let's just find out. Let's just find out
what the story is here? Are you running? Is your
father running?

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Again?

Speaker 7 (17:37):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (17:38):
They had to know, reporters, they just had to know.
But the memes are already studying that come in hot
and heavy on this Trump twenty twenty eight and the
rest obviously, as you can see, this is this is all,
this is all part of like the trolling efforts. Why
they do this, well, when they it's when they do this,
it blows the minds of some people like it's actually

(18:00):
the left and then left to focus on this rather
than destroying the country, which they do a good job
of anyway anyway. So so that's that's the latest. I
I I cannot I cannot wait to see what comes

(18:20):
next to those. I did see somebody push out a
twenty thirty two hat and they said, what we too soon?

Speaker 9 (18:34):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Well, no, I mean it's just what do you think
you would run at twenty thirty two? Well, people ask me,
do you Kenny? Kenny run what he twenty what? Look,
if he does, it has to change the constitution. He
can't do that. Congress would have to do it now
the only other way that he could stay in office.
By the way, and I honestly I don't know that,

(18:56):
I really don't know what the like this has never
been done. When I'm about to well, I mean it has,
but just not here. Jason made the point earlier. It's
happened in Ukraine. Za Lensky staying in office because they
got a war going on, so that's you know, but
we've never really seen that play out here. So I

(19:18):
don't think your chance is the likelihood of that happening
probably not so big. We did have a great time
in Washington, d C. At the Swamp. We had a
fantastic time. We had a blast. Who got a chance
to sit down with some great folks, got to meet
some people actually got a chance to meet.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
This was cool.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
RFK Jr. Walking to dinner the first night I'm there.
We walked to dinner. My buddy looks.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Over and goes, that's RFK.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
He's right in front of us, so you, oh, hey,
reach my hand out and I say, first I did this,
I go thank you? And then he said yeah. And
then I reached my hand out and I say, hey,
I appreciate you. And I said, and then can I
get a picture? And so we did. We got a
chance to get a little picture together. Had a little
moment there and brief conversation. But what he did, because

(20:11):
I was about to ham my phone to my buddy,
said can you take this for me? And marp K goes,
I'll take it, and so you know, he takes it
and does we do a selfie together, which I thought
was was kind of cool. And he did that, and
he did that with a couple other people. I started
this trend. He had decent amount of security with him,
His wife was with him too. It was a really

(20:32):
good time.

Speaker 9 (20:33):
And I met with and I want to commend food
companies for working with us to achieve this agreement or
this settlement. And when I went in a few months
or about a month ago to meet with a few
food companies, I was talking with my half about these
petroleum based eyes and I just said, if they want

(20:55):
to add petroleum, they want to eat petroleum, they ought
to add it themselves at home, if they shouldn't be
feeding it to the rest of us. Yeah, yeah, without
our knowledge or consent. And unfortunately one of them. And
we are gonna we're gonna get rid of the dies,

(21:17):
and one by one, we're gonna get rid of every
ingredient and added him to the school in food that
we can legally address.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
When I met with and I want to commend that's fantastic.
I'm so happy to hear that those dies are just
and they're just it's just poison, is essentially what we're
talking about. Just poison there it is. There's a picture
of me and RFKG and were just walking around going
to dinner and that he was very polite, very nice

(21:47):
and as you can tell, starting to crawl crop now.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
And then we let.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Him, you know, it's really interesting, let him kind of
like walk off a little bit and and we sort
of behind end ups going to the same restaurant where
we were going, which was kind of like a fast,
casual sort of Mediterranean type place. I got a great
salad here. I am I Tom instead of trying to
make myself healthy again. Uh.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
But we had a really great time.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
I got a chance to spend some time with him
and then some other folks here at the White House.
So we were just right in front there at this point,
in front of the TV cameras that they do that
shot where they're showing you the White House.

Speaker 6 (22:30):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
If you look to the right of me over this way,
that's where you'll see the west wing area. Uh and
essentially where when you see like, well, this was a
great moment Zelensky. Remember Zolensky pulls up in the car
and then he gets kicked He gets kicked out Trump

(22:55):
when he comes in, Trump goes, oh, you're dressed up,
you know. But that's that's the little area where they
where they pull up and do that. You'll you'll you'll
notice what I'm talking about. Here's the this is this
is that.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Walking out him.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Watch of course that's where the marine stands guard and
in all of that. So that little area is to
the right, and it's actually a smaller area. Uh when
you you don't realize, I guess, but it's it's just

(23:37):
a smaller area. Is everything on TV? And what's it's hard,
it's hard to know. At least that's that's where I
think that area was. I could be wrong, but I'm
I'm I'm assuming because that's where they go into the
oval office. That section, there's a little turnaround, there's a
little portico there and that's that's where they all go in. Yeah,

(24:01):
here's that moment, President Trump. There he is, he's all
dressed up today.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
He points over the camera, looks at Carara points it.
He's all dressed up today.

Speaker 7 (24:23):
Her.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
That's that's where that area is. That kills me. That's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Uh, who's another guy? Well, I'll talk about this letter,
but I I got a picture of the guy that
that pulled his Olenski actually right right before he did.
There's something mien to talk about this now, I don't.
I'm not going to ever tell anybody what that. I
could tell Zelenski what to wear to the White House?

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Can I do?

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Because I feel like he ought to be more grateful.
He come in there to beg for billions of dollars.
He ought to be a little more grateful, is what
I think. And you ought to be a little more
respectful as what I think. That's just me journalists, etc.
I don't care. But at at the end of the day,

(25:16):
I'm going to dress up, which I did. But I
ran into this guy in the hallway who was the
day that we were there, the guest in the hot
seat in the press briefing room, and asked a fantastic question.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
This is Tim Poole.

Speaker 7 (25:29):
Many of these organizations that are represented.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
In they did. They looked at his attire and.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
They go, it's like the Republican Federman.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
It's true.

Speaker 7 (25:40):
Have Martin lockstep on false narratives such as the very
fine people hopes, the Covington smear, and now what's being
called the Maryland man huax. Yeah, where an MS thirteen
gang member adjudicated by two different judges. I believe is
just simply being referred to as a Maryland man over
and over again. Now, in an effort from the White
House to expand access to new companies, you've created this

(26:01):
new media seat. So I'm wondering if you can comment
on following this expansion, you've had numerous outlets to disparage
the companies that you've had sit here as well as
the reporters. I'm ordering if you comment on that, on
professional behavior as well as elaborative there's any plans to
expand access to new companies.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Sure well, we certainly welcome diverse viewpoints in this room,
which is one.

Speaker 7 (26:23):
Of the many of the news organizations that are represented
in this room have Martin locks.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
That was a very good question and fascinating. In fact,
we were right outside there, right outside the room where
I did my conversations and interviews with some of the folks,
and I know this is Tim is great by the way.
I loved him, very also very friendly. There's a picture
you see for the first time we got a little

(26:49):
shot with him outside.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
You could see what he was wearing, and.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
I think I want to say Babylon Bee or somebody
did one of these things. Dilly Brandon Delle he shared it.
I think I might have ran into him too, though
I I'm I'm I'm not really great with uh, with
faces and knowing everybody. Sometimes I go, you look familiar,
like r f K. I mean I should have known,

(27:18):
but but I had I had no, I had no
My buddy had to make the point. He had to
like point him out to go, hey, there's there's that,
there's r F canals.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Oh, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Anyway, they posted they posted this, uh, this picture.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Of of our buddy.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Uh, that's him, poole. I just say he probably had
no idea who I was, no idea. Even if you
saw me again, he wouldn't know. He wouldn't get You're
meeting a lot of people. There's a lot of radio people.
We had a good we had a really good We
had a good time. It was a lot of a
lot of folks. Joe Paggs are good friend Joe Paggs
that his show airs here on Wood Radio. Another great guy.

(28:07):
Got to see Rita Cosby. She was I've talked with
her a number of times. She was great as always,
had a really good conversation with her anybody else, Oh, Vince,
it took over for Dan Bongina. Vince was there, got
a chance to talk with him a little bit, and uh,
a few others some some local hosts like me and
uh and whatnot. So anyway, that that that's that's basically

(28:29):
that's that's the rundown of who we got a chance
to uh, who we got a chance.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
To talk to?

Speaker 1 (28:38):
So uh, I I'll have I think I'll have more
of this, by the way soon. This was one of
the brn Delly posted this. Christy Gnome is such a badass.
She just sat down this morning and confronted the homeless
man that stole her purse last night at dinner.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
And it is it's a picture.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
It's a picture of Tim doing an interview with her.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
It's so good. So yeah, Glenn Beck was there too.
Glenn did a great.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Interview with the president of If you haven't seen it yet,
there's a lot of there's just a lot of those.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
A lot of that good stuff is flat ray.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
They just done a very good job of trying to
include everyone to make sure that these stories get out
and their voices are are heard. Particularly it's less of
the mainstream fake news and more of people like you,
me and everybody else getting a chance to have their
voices heard in these scenarios, and that that, by the way,

(29:43):
is I'm all for that. It's absolutely fantastic. So much
news happening in the week and there's so many things
I'm obviously not going to be able to get a
chance to get to today, and we'll do more of it,
I'm sure in the next days ahead and next week
as well. I am going to do a fireside chat

(30:04):
at some point this weekend. Somebody asked her, you know,
there's not a lot of news happening on the weekend.
What would you guys want to do? Maybe do more
of the of the shows and things on the weekend. Well,
I run a Saturday Morning our podcast every Saturday morning
at nine am, So if you ever missed a podcast,
that's the time you can check it out. It streams

(30:25):
live nine am Saturday morning. Now, maybe you're saying maybe
we should stream it in the evening. Maybe that's a
good idea, or maybe we should do more weekend live programming,
But again, you know, I have a life too, so
it's it's kind of tough to do some of that
when your wife. You know what, do you want to
spend a little bit of time with me? Hey, did

(30:50):
you see this story they've arrested. Department of Justice arresting
a former judge in New Mexico for harboring illegal gang members.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
There's some of this here.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Courtesy of k Fox fourteen out in New Maximian only
turned that volume down because I don't think there's anything
in this. But if you recall, there were pictures of him,
he hanging out with these I think the guy, I
think he let the guys stay with him, and this
whole story has blown up. It's it's and it and

(31:30):
it should it's this guy should be. I mean, look,
we got to set the precedent. You want to you
want to harbor illegal gang members? Gang member member of
the Trend de Ragua Game, judge Wang Kano and his
wife arrested by federal authorities after they harbored a TDA
gang member at home, according to the reports. Yeah, so
that's that's fantastic. Dilley over on his if he says

(31:59):
a single dear FBI bo Gino cash Bondy, a single
virrau of a corporate federal judge getting cuffed and frog
marched every couple of weeks is exactly the optics that
will keep the villagers happy and motivated. Well done, mail
the bestards.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Ah, there you have it.

to get to and cover. I appreciate you taking the
time to be here with us today and share some
of these stories, some big ones in fact, like I said,
we got more coming next week. President Trump, speaking of which,
