Speaker 6 (02:23):
They're not going to.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Endorse the Democrats. That's a big thing.
Speaker 7 (02:27):
And this is the first time and I guess fifty
sixty years and that's happened.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Democrats automatically have the Teamsters. They took a.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Voter and I guess I was at sixty percent or more.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
And that's a great honor. I mean, it's really.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I've had a lot of teamsters work for me, a
lot of the concrete trucks and built all these buildings
that you see in New York City, the teamsters tru
I'm calling it a great honor Teamsters for the first
year in decades not endorsing a Democrat, in fact, not
endorsing anyone. And the poll sixty percent of the membership
choosing Trump. CNNA ultimately shocked by Lady here what I
(03:00):
had to say.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
And today it is what Radio Day one hundred years
celebrating on the air here in West Fshon and Grant
Rapids and of course at thirteen hundred.

out of nowhere. At certain points during the program, I
give you a chance to call in and grab those tickets.
So here's the number six one, six seven seven four
twenty four to twenty four. That's the number six one,
six seven seven four twenty four twenty four.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Just make a note said.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Because you never know, I just any time, any time
that I could just open the lines and uh give
those tickets a going to you. All right, Well, let's
get into the news affective with us. Now, this news
coming out of folks with yesterday, I just fit the
(04:21):
latest FED news.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
Yeah, good morning, thanks for having me on Justin and
uh yeah, A lot of people felt it was an
unexpected larger than expected rate cut yesterday, but in the
mortgage world, most people we're dealing with happened two to
three weeks in advance or whatever the Fed does. So
we see our rates fluctuate. It's not uncommon the day
they cut rates for us to get several calls and
(04:44):
questions and asking what rates have done. And I'm usually
the only The only reaction we get on the day
of the Fed rate cut is either a more of
a reaction to what they did, So if they did
what they expected, our rates at the stay in that day,
if they if they didn't do what was expected, or
they make some comments that creates speculation, rates can actually
(05:05):
inch up a little bit even though there was a cut.
So yeah, we had a little bit of that yesterday,
but definitely great to see rates come down. I think
the half point was more based on a lot of
people felt he should have moved on something in July,
maybe a quarter in July and in a quarter in
August that they didn't, So they were they felt he
was kind of making up for what they didn't do.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
So why did they make this move? It's the inflation's
too hot. They what was the purpose of the reasoning
behind it?
Speaker 5 (05:35):
You mean the right cut in general? Yeah, yeah, they
see they see indicators on the job market that they
feel unemployment is going to be going up, They feel
inflation is getting closer, inching down closer to that two
point something percent. And I think there's an event happening
in November that maybe they felt this right might be
(05:58):
a good, good thing to have in play.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, huh, okay, Well, the befed's not political though at all?
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Are they? You know?
Speaker 5 (06:08):
Well, you know, they're not a government entity, which a
lot of people true realize the government has influence on them.
So so yeah, I'm sure they have their their opinions.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
I like the way we're talking around this here, but
it's really interesting. Yeah, they are a private entity, and
I like tink a lot of people maybe but don't
realize that and understand the full process of what goes
into this, who they are, what makes it up, and
of course the impact that they that they have. So
you've already said you've already kind of seen rates going down,
mortgage rates, but that's one area of the spectrum, and
(06:44):
I think people try to buy a house or maybe
trying to refire, and then it'll go a long way
to maybe help out.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
What's that do in the market.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Though, And I just have to ask, as far as
affordability goes, does that then shoot this real estate market
back into a tail spind Do they get kind of this,
do things heat up there? Because you know, now now
it looks like people might go out there and be
able to you know, actually afford to buy a house again.
(07:14):
And of course that that whole equation gets to be
kind of interesting, don't that.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's a great thing because from
an affordability standpoint, having that interest rate a couple of
points lower than what it was two years ago really
helps somebody buying power which they really need right now,
or just monthly affordability. So it's a great thing for
that because if you if you look in the past
and you couldn't afford a home, maybe that that monthly
payment is lower now, can it create that tail spend?
(07:43):
I think it can if we continue to get lower.
The biggest challenge, you know, we see in Michigan is
the inventory. Right there's just not enough homes for sale.
They're not building them fast enough, and so you know,
I don't and the one way to create that inventory
is to have people sell their homes. And you have
a lot of people right now that are still that
you know, two and a half to three and a
(08:04):
half point range on their current mortgage. They don't want
to give that up to buy a new home yet,
and I don't think these recent cuts are going to
spur a lot of that. But as they continue to
get lower and you get more buyers coming to the market, yeah,
it could spur definitely some excitement and more interest in
(08:24):
selling homes and buying homes. And you know, obviously competition
can drive that price up.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Talking with Dave Galloway right now from Hardland Home More
HHM lending dot Com is the is a group where
they do business in Michigan but also Florida as well.
If you have questions about these things, I'm sure they'd
be happy to answer them for you. But Dave, let's
talk about some of the other sides of this what
it means. So some people are excited because the cost
of money is going down, and maybe that has impact
(08:50):
on the economy in other ways other than housing and mortgages.
But also folks are maybe looking at this thinking that
that they're not going to get as much say things,
and I'm sure that'll have an impact as well. What
are the other pieces of this decision and the impact
will lab.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
Well, the big thing in our world is equity is
really high right now, right home values are how you
have a lot of equity, and if you you know,
and if you look at what the national numbers are
for consumer debt, people have more consumer debt that we've
ever had right now, right credit cards and I don't
know if you've ever looked at the APR on your
(09:29):
credit card statement. Most people like to avoid debt out
a shock, yeah, but I mean those rates are regularly
in the twenties. I mean, if you're carrying twenty thirty
forty fifty thousand dollars in credit card debt, those rates
are in the twenties. And having lower rates like this
and high equity gives you an opportunity to do a refinance,
maybe use some of that equity to get your budget
(09:49):
back in order to save yourself one hundreds of dollars
a month. The other sweet spot we're seeing right now
is twenty and fifteen year rates there are really are
really good. And if you bought your home in the
last two years and you're upwards of six and a
half seven and a half eight percent, refinancing that thirty
year into a twenty might not even cost you any
money per month, But you're eliminating eight to nine years
(10:11):
in payment, So some definitely opportunity there to five yourself
thousands and thousands of dollars in interest.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
So these are things other pieces of this this equation
that'll get interesting now as you see they to mention
here and I think you may have mentioned it too,
is that that that not only we have your half
of half a percentage point here, but you'll have a
couple more cuts coming in maybe into twenty five and
(10:39):
twenty six. Do do interest rates ever get back down
to where they were in the in the like eventually
we got our mortgages in the twos and so we
walked that line all the time. Well, I don't know
if we ever want to move to maybe we should
look at something about do the what are you think
(11:00):
they actually get down? And will we ever see that again?
Speaker 5 (11:05):
While I never say never, it's highly unlikely we're going
to get to that. I mean all the stuff that
that caused that, right, the whole COVID pandemic and all
the reaction to that, that was really the driver and
the race going down that low. But do I see
a scenario where we're lending in the fours again? Probably
(11:25):
in the next year and a half. I think that's
certainly likely, but we'll see. I mean, you know, like
we said, you've got an election coming to November, and
you have a candidate that feels a lot of spending
is good. And if you listen to a lot of
these proposals being put forth, they're not going to make
inflation go down if those those get put into place.
(11:48):
And so now we know a lot of that stuff
is campaign promises.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
And.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
Can they even do them when they get in the office.
Not likely, but it's sure indicates kind of what their
what their administration would be about. And like I said, you,
if you crank up government spending like that, I don't
think it's gonna help inflation come down.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, that is that's uh, that's a fact. And and man,
uh they never met if you look at some of
these proposal, they never met a dollar they couldn't spend
or find a print and uh, it really is drastic,
especially if you look at the opposite, which is let's
talk of maybe more of a government accountability or an
efficiency board that might look at ways to cut and
(12:33):
one of the easiest ways that that could we could
do that is maybe where we don't buy five hundred dollars,
hammers and things like that. I mean, some of the
stories you get it there. These you know how much
money they've just blown on waste, fraud and abuse. It's
uh yeah, it gets out of control and in a hurry,
(12:53):
and those things have every day consequences on people when
they're going to the grocery store to buy food put
it on the table, or even gas in the car
just to get back and forth to work and whatnot.
It comes from putting that money in the first place. Dave,
always a pleasure talking to you about these things. I
(13:15):
know folks are going to have questions for you anything
else before we let you go, because I know they're
going to want to Your phone probably start ringing by
the time we get you off the air.

Is it the third assassination of the.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Tempt Oh yesterday, there's some back and forth about a
possible bomb found in New York. Turns out that wasn't
what really happened. But also we're now hearing about something
mysterious in Arizona. This is a eye injuries that folks
on stage with Trump at the Timers starting game for President.
Speaker 9 (18:04):
Donald Trump that were allowed to sit behind his stage
at his twoson rally last week. Tell the News War
twos on investigators they left with mysterious injuries to their eyes.
What this we're twos on chief investigator reporter Course Islander
live outside the on Music Hall downtown Course.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
I want, I want to play this so get to
report out for you so you can see it, because
nobody I haven't seen anybody else talking about in a
possible third attempt on his life. We'll tell you who
won the tickets to We got more coming up as
we celebrate one hundred years after our news Bottom of
the Hour will give another.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Pair of tickets away.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
I just played some of this off the air, and
I think it's worth maybe repeating for even the folks
that are listening to behind it Samed lives stream to
hear it. You know, we'll just play parts of it
for you. But third possible third assassination of attempt, this is.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Out of Arizona.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
The news it's just start of leaking out and apparently
even wood TV carring this is one. It's kind of surprising. Yes,
and before I forget, we'll have another pair of tickets.
In fact, why don't we do it now? Thirteenth then
to win right now another pair of tickets right now
thirteenth and at six one, six, seven, seven, four, twenty four,
(19:18):
twenty four to go see Tucker and Kid Rock at
Van Andel tomorrow to celebrate our one hundredth anniversary. It's
Wood Radio Day in Grand Rapids, and we appreciate you being.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Here with us through it all.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
And I got to tell you, I I people still
have a place that we can talk about some of
these things. I think is is unique, so worth worth
mentioning the d that we were definitely grateful for that.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Okay, so this is a story.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
And then even made Wood TV, which I thought was
kind of interesting. But it's out of Tucson, Arizona. At
one of the rallies apparently for President Trump last week,
people walked away with a mysterious eye.
Speaker 9 (20:01):
There is a former President Donald Trump that were allowed
to sit behind his stage at his twoson rally last week.
Tell the News War twoson investigators they left with mysterious
injuries to their eyes. Mis wore Tuson chief investigative reporter
course and lander is live outside the twos On Music
Hall downtown course. What are we learning about their situation?
Speaker 10 (20:23):
Well, Monica This is where thousands of people came out
to hear former President Donald Trump speak last week. There
was a group of forty eight people allowed to sit
on stage behind Trump throughout the event. They were split
into two groups on each side of the stage. One
side seemed to walk away without any issues, but multiple
people seated near each other on the other side tell
(20:44):
me that they had to go to the emergency room
after they left the event. Here tonight, for the first time,
the Trump campaign is confirming that they're investigating this situation.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
By the way, someone familiar with this type of issue,
Kristin and the chat is talking about which he thinks
it may be from a chemical or maybe aerosolized chemical
agent ocular chemical burns, she says, or offcasting or something aerostolized.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
So these are look I don't know if this was intentional.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
I don't know if it was an accident, but it
definitely does seem like if it was contained at least
it sounds like within one section of the event. And
really it's one side. When you see the setup, it's
one side of the stage and people behind President Trump.
(21:38):
No taxes on Social Security benefits for our seniors.
Speaker 10 (21:44):
More than two thousand people filled up the Tucson Music
Hall Thursday to hear Donald Trump's first speech in Tucson
this campaign. As election Day near, some of his biggest
supporters were allowed to sit behind him on stage. Supporters
like Meira Rodriguez, a former director of Playing and Parenthood
with a notable shift to being pro life. In twenty sixteen,
(22:04):
she sat behind presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on stage at
an event. Now she supports Donald Trump. She enjoyed the rally,
but once she left, everything changed.
Speaker 11 (22:13):
As soon as we left and I stepped outside, I
started feeling like my eyes were burned in.
Speaker 10 (22:18):
At first, she thought it might be allergies. She lives
near Phoenix. By the time she got home, it was
so bad she decided to go to the emergency room.
Speaker 11 (22:25):
The emergency room staffed keep saying, you know, from the
Trioche nurse to the PA and are you sure you
don't spray anything. Your symptoms look like you were spraying something.
Speaker 10 (22:37):
The News for Tucson investigators spoke to her the morning
after the rally Friday last week. That morning, she was
nearly blind.
Speaker 11 (22:44):
I can't see anything. When I tried to open my eyes,
it's like a white plot ull covered it hurts. It
hurts a lot to up in my eyes. And I
have this cold clothe that I put on a I
take offf all the time. But this is horrible, She says.
Speaker 10 (22:58):
The doctors weren't a to determine what exactly caused it.
Her initial thought of allergies went out the window when
she heard from several others seated next to her at
the rally that also ended up seeking medical attention with
the same symptoms.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Kept getting worse and worse.
Speaker 11 (23:12):
My eyes started watering a lot, my nose started running.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Then I started feeling my face get.
Speaker 11 (23:18):
Really flushed, and then my neck was felt like it
was on fire.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
And it just progressed from there.
Speaker 10 (23:25):
This Tucson woman, who doesn't want to be identified, was
seated in the same area behind Trump with her brother.
Both walked away with eye injuries and sought medical attention.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
I was all focused on my eyes. I mean, my
eye were red like hell, you know what I mean.
It's like it's just like unbearable. You just couldn't could
I couldn't handle it. I just couldn't handle it.
Speaker 10 (23:45):
Whatever caused it seems to be isolated to the group
seated on stage right, former Congressional District six candidate Kathleen
Wynn was seated on the opposite side of the stage
and says she and everyone she knows seated near her
walked away without any issues.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
We hoped there's no nefarious actors in this and that
this is not a strategic hit for those that are
supporting Donald Trump.
Speaker 10 (24:06):
Myra reported her injuries to the Trump campaign and says
she was told it was being investigated. Myra feels it's
crucial for people to be made aware of what happened
and what could have caused her injuries.
Speaker 11 (24:16):
Oh, is it what I would like? It's an investigation,
right that whoever that this does not get away with it.
Speaker 10 (24:26):
I don't want to be very clear. We do not
know at this point if a person caused any of this,
or what exactly the cause could be. We can only
speculate at this point. But that apparently is what the
Trump campaign is trying to get to the bottom two
at this point. Less than an hour ago, the Trump
campaign senior advisor Daniel Alvarez cynesis statement rating quote, the
Trump campaign has been collecting information. We remain committed to
(24:50):
the countless patriots that attend our high energy, high impact
rallies across the country. I did also speak with the
United States Secret Service. They tell me they were not
informed of any of this and only learned about it
when I called them, But they said that there was
no known threat to President Trump during his event here
in Tucson last week. We'll update you as we get
more information on this situation. Where live from downtown Tucson tonight,
(25:14):
Courus Stylander News for Tucson.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
It's interesting and there's a number of things that could
have happened here. We're learning as folks are showing in
the chat right now. It could have been intentional, it
could have been unintentional. There are a number of things.
But you put this in context with all the other
things that we've we've seen lately, uh, you know, the
attacks or the attempted assassinations on him. Listen's why we
we asked the question. It's just the third attempt Uh.
(25:40):
You just you just don't know. And yesterday there was
a story in fact uh you know, it quickly got dismissed,
but they're out now in the media and and.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Of course the fact checkers.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I got a message from somebody who works at USA
today yesterday and asking about this fact checking look at
the fact check you know, just asking where did you
find where did just where did this come from? Where
did you you know, just just wanted to know what
are the where's your source on this?
Speaker 3 (26:09):
My sources?
Speaker 2 (26:09):
The Daily Mail, UH at the time. You know, that's
a that's a reputable publication, I guess, I mean as
much as is the source would be.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
The police because because they're.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Sourcing the police in that area at the time, they
did report what what they said was happening there, cops
saying the suspect with a self trained bomb detecting dog
actually sparked false reports of explosives found in a car.
It is around ten thirty eleven yesterday, and we share
(26:43):
the story and then then updated. Apparently that wasn't enough
for the fact checker UH to get involved. And you know,
they saw a dog. I guess there were the reports
it may have found a bomb in an area that
that that didn't end up being true. So now you
get that this is not a hoax, as they call
(27:04):
it in the article at one point, it's a mistake.
It's not misinformation, it's a mistake. A man mistakenly reported
that a bomb was sading it was not a bomb.
And apparently that even though there were reports of somebody
running into the woods and all this other stuff that
didn't happen either. But everybody's on a high alert right now, apparently,
(27:29):
and you can't blame people.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
So you know.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
But again, this is this is like the tactic of
the left du jour. Anyway, today's a gas light people,
and then make them think that whatever would happen didn't
really happen. That's a whole nother issue in all of it,
not no matter what, it really stems from the hateful rhetoric.
As much as they want to say that he's but
it's a hateful rhetoric of the left. They continue to
call him a threat to democracy.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
And everything else.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
All right, quick break, we're going to be back after this.
Congratulations to Corey from Conklin. Wanting tickets to see Tucker Carlson.
We'll give another pair away before we get out of
here today too. So if you want to want to
see Tucker and Kid Rock tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Hang in there. We'll give you a pair.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
All right, Let's give another pair of tickets before we
get out of here.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Hang on, I'm gonna do that. Congratch to Dave and
Grand Rapids.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Look, Davin, Grand Rapids, just one a pair? Only do
another one for kid Rock and uh and Tucker tomorrow
at Vana and Lorena. Sixty one six, seven, seven, twenty
four to twenty.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Four Is that number you want to dial? Well, I
want to.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Talk about a conversation, a story that isn't getting the
well that the take the attention it serves and understandable.
Right now, there's a lot going on in the country
of the world together, and of course that's probably why
this is happening right now. It's sort of being swept
underneath the Patrise Johnson Pure Integrity Michigan elections out there sort.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Of bringing the alarm on this.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
The Gateway Punnit has the article the story from Patty McMurray.
Michigan's Dirty Democrats passed four new election bills, including radical
lottery style ranked choice voting, court appointed election monitors, and
theft of election control from local clerks.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Patrise, thanks so much for being here with us today.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
Well, thank you, Justin. I appreciate the opportunity to be here.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
You know, this story and it's just the latest, but
this latest story about what the radical measures they're going
through Democrats here in the state, passing four new election bills,
including a radical lottery style ranked choice voting, which to me,
I don't think people really understand. There's a couple of
places where this is already in play, and to me,
it's a complete disaster court appointed election monitors and theft
(29:51):
of election control from local clerks. This story by Patty
McMurray in The Gateway Pundit today.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
But this, this is.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Something that they have kind of made clear that they
want to dramatically transform the way we do things here
in Michigan, and that boy, that would change things from
here on out, this would be a massive problem for us.
Speaker 6 (30:18):
That's absolutely right. They've put together a package that they
couldn't get through last fall or last year, but they're
really trying hard to ram it through now because they
realize that they need to do some serious things in
order to in order to have the population apparently go
with them.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
And what it appears to me too is I thought
some of this stuff was so extreme that maybe they
wouldn't try and push this intelection here, but it seems
that maybe they see some riding on the wall here
and know that their time in their days are numbered.
And so they've got to move quickly otherwise this won't happen.
Speaker 6 (30:58):
Yeah, I don't know exactly what they're logic is, but
what they're proposing is very extreme. For example, it's four
bills that are packaging. They're packaging together and calling it
the State Voting Rights Act, and FB four one is
the first in the series, and it creates a favored
protected classes of that get special treatment under the law.
(31:22):
And what they will do is if a jurisdiction doesn't
have special codes to help these protected classes, they will
come after them and take over them, and the Secretary
of State and Attorney General will be given the right
really to control these jurisdictions in a court appointed fashion
(31:44):
for up to ten years. So it's very serious. It
represents a government takeover of our elections, a state takeover
of our local election.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
So that's obviously on just on the surface, I think
many might stay, well, probably not a great idea to
have Lansing operating your elections, just like it's probably not
a good idea to have d C overseeing and operating
your elections. But this whole way that can sort of
consolidate control and power. This is how you you can
(32:15):
rig elections. I just think it's obvious and it's common
sense that when you have elections, or really when you
have any any governance done at any point, the closer
the decision making is to relate to the people, the better.
So in the town and the townships wherever it might be,
the precinct level in some of these.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Cases, probably the best.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Way for us to go and to really decentralize as
much as possible to make sure that there is never
even an appearance of any impropriety at all.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
Right, that's right, that's right. And one of the bills
SBS for one again, it creates an voting Rights Assistance
Fund which will accept dollars from and I'm quoting from
any other source in other words, dark money, foreign money.
(33:09):
They will accept money from anywhere, and it stays in
that fund and is overseen by the Attorney General, and
the Attorney General would be responsible for audity herself on that.
So it makes no sense. It would be used to
sue local governments and sue local citizens, and then punitive
(33:31):
damages would go back into that fund to keep funding
more lawfare. So it's a it's the government's way of
having taxpayer dollars and outside dollars really stimulate lawfare against
the citizen ry.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Yeah, and what what could go wrong?
Speaker 2 (33:45):
I mean, we've seen with with with zucker Box and
the boxes, et cetera. And now we just turned to
storying Midwestern or hot today and a big rapids township
where they've got to fight this. It gets this Chinese
Communist Party linked Ghoshen battery plan and it's been a man,
it's been a massive fight there. They're folks in the
(34:06):
electric positions there that seemingly been bought off in some
ways that just wanted to cram this thing down, no
matter how unpopular it was, even with the folks there
in the in the area. So that's so, but this
is getting involved. They said they're going to take thirty
thousand others. Thoughts to myself, why do you need thirty
(34:27):
thousand dollars? Are you not getting funded well enough from
the state or from the county level. Why do would
you need thirty thousand dollars outside private money to help
with anything? And what kind of strings are attached to
that though?
Speaker 6 (34:43):
Yeah, it's thirty to fifty thousand dollars to help candidates
defer their expenses, but only select candidates, only sle only candidates,
and they protected classes. So it's a way of basically,
as again as we've been hearing, changing the electorate.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
It is unthinkable and a fact, I would say. Also
when you look at you look at this, it's becoming
obvious that you've got people who want a monkey in
our elections and they are they're going to get away
with it as long as people aren't paying attention.
Speaker 5 (35:19):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
And for years and years this country has had laws
against what's called electioneering. For example, you're not supposed to
be handing out candidate material or even bottles of water
to people within one hundred feet of a polling station
whereas people are voting. They want to change all that
so that these candidates can actually come inside where people
are voting and talk to them and give them food
(35:44):
and water and whatever. And just think about the pressure
that puts on a person standing in line, and what
if you can't speak the language, especially while you're being
told that you should vote for a certain candidate because
they're handing you something and they're standing nearby. And the
electioneering is a horrible thing. It takes away our privacy,
(36:04):
It takes away our independence and it's totally against the law,
and they're trying to make it legal here in one
of these bills.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Patrice Johnson is with Pure Integrity for Michigan's elections, and
of course you can find out more on their website
as well as following all. I'm we'll put the links
on the stack, but I'm going to tell you so.
One thing she said is that these House members need
to hear it. Cou's passed the Senate, but the House
(36:31):
members Republican and Democrat, need to hear from the Umane
business on this and oppose these bills. So she recommends
calling taking action here in these measures. They're going to
do anything they can. I think the back's against the wall.
And I believe also the timing right now, particularly timing
on all of this is of the essence because they
(36:52):
know if Trump becomes president, my Rogers becomes the Senator
from Michigan and the Republicans are able to take back
control of the House, boy, they are in for a
world of a world of hurt because everything that they've tried,
this radical extreme measures, the Democrats taking control of both
the House and the Senate Michigan. Of course, the executive
(37:14):
branch saw three. This is where we are, why we're
here today, all right back in the in the well
under twenty three hours. Right, We've on an after show
you can join us for Justin Barklay dot com. Celebrating
the one hundred year anniversary here at Wood Radio all

you tomorrow. Tucker and Kid Rock at Van Andel. Happy anniversary,
