Elitch Gardens, marking their one hundred and thirty fifth opening weekend.

I cannot believe that joining us now in the KA
Commas Spirit Health Hotline Director of Marketing Cindy Hands. Cindy,
thanks for joining us. I know opening weekend kind of
marks the unofficial start of summer for Denver and from
Colorado and top of mind of us for us now.
But looking at the weather outside, are you concerned at
all about having a nice, clean opening day?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
A little concerned, but we've been through this before. Hopefully
you never know how the weather's going to change. So
you know, we're planning to keep moving and see what
happens and open up tomorrow morning.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
And so what are the plans for opening day?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
We're going to open up, get the theme park going,
get people to get that first taste of the rise
for the season. We do have the Easter Bunny at
the park, so people can come out tomorrow and Sunday
and get the photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
If the w the iconic rides, I can go through
them all, Mister Twister and the like, but anything new
and unique about Elitch is this year, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Not a new ride, but unique. We have an extra
long season this year. We're opening earlier than usual, We're
staying open longer than usual. We basically are the place
for all four seasons. You know, we have something for spring,
summer with the water park fall, we have bright best
and then for the winner we have our holiday celebration.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
And Cindy, I know you guys had a big job
fair earlier this spring. How are you doing for employees?
If people are still looking for a job, you have openings.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
We do have some openings. We've done great. We've got
a lot of people returning and we've done the job
there was great. But we're always hiring, I mean literally
all through the season. It's a constant process.
