Speaker 3 (00:16):
Roun Mari Gina, Good morning. Hello. We're only two days away.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
So close, and the rumors are already ploring in for sure.
Can you walk us through a little bit of what
we've heard so far of some of the Broncos draft rumors.
Which ones you think you're hearing or believing right now?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Well, it could be a mix up from the very top,
starting Unbroncos. Related this morning, Peter Schrager of ESPN is
now reporting that a shakeup could be coming at the
top that could change everything, and as that the Browns
of the Giants are fielding trade calls for the picks
number two and three overall, obviously following the Tennessee Titans
likely pick of cam Ward. That could change everything because

(00:54):
this is not going to be for a quarterback. I
know Bufs nation isn't like hearing this, but a tray
up to two and three, I don't necessarily think it's
going to be for Shador Sanders. So could it be
for the top the top players in this draft? Could
it be for his his Buffs teammate and Travis Hunter?
Could it be for the target the Broncos might move
look be looking to move up for in Ashton Janty.

(01:15):
And the reason I bring that up is because there's
a lot of talk. Three independent sources yesterday have now
been talking about the Broncos looking to be the team
to move up in this draft. And obviously the talk
has been if they're going to be looking up to
move up for a running back. However, Ian Rapapart, or
NFL Network insider, said yesterday on The Koe Sports that
he could see that Broncos moving up, but for a

(01:35):
wide receiver. Could that be a Matthew Golden out of Texas,
who comps to Chris o'lave chrisl Lovey was a year
after Sean Payton. But could it be for a Matthew Golden,
could be for Tech McMillan, could be for a wide receiver.
I would personally hope and believe it'd be for running back.
But if that rumor is more this is true this
morning for two and three being a shakeup that could
change everything for the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
But the biggest need a Rod is still running back
at this point, though I know they're trying to address
a few things on defense. Even though the defense was good, right.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
The defense was good, and I do think the likelihood
that it's going to be defense is if they stay
at twenty or if they move back. The player I
just mentioned. The other guy that could really change everything
for how the Broncos work this draft is how far
Shador Sanders falls. If he gets past the Giants, if
he gets at three, if he gets past the New
Orleans Saints at nine. If Shador Sanders falls, the Broncos

(02:26):
could be looking to move back. If someone wants to
move up to twenty and go get Shador, whether it
be the Cleveland Browns who want to partner Travis Hunter
with with Shador Sanders, if it's the Pittsburgh Steelers who
are one pick behind at twenty one, I want to
move up with the Broncos. If the Broncos trade back,
it becomes that much more likely for me. It's defense.
For me. You have to get bow Nicks weapons. All
the people I talked to at the Super Bowl this

(02:49):
past February. We're all saying, get bow Knicks weapons, that's
what they need to do. I love the idea of
a running back in the first round. Sean Payton's done it.
He's done it twice, mark ingram in twenty eleven, read
you pushed in two thousand and even though people would
say arguably his best running back pick was Alvin Kamara
in the third round. But I think you gotta get Bonnicks,
a bone of five, three down, protect the passer, elite runner,

(03:10):
and a guy that is a skilled guy. And that's
why I think you do everything you can to go
up and get Ashton Janty. If it's next year's first,
if it's an additional second, If Ashton Janty falls past
the Jaguars at five, who have been all smoked to
maybe go get him now, the Raiders at six have
been a favorite to draft him. If he falls in
that seven to ten range, Marty and Gen, you do
whatever it takes to go get Ashton Janty.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Ay Rod, who is a poppy rooting for in the
NFL draft.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
There clearly every time I'm saying running back, she's all
about it. So she's clearly a fan, all right.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I want to go back a little bit here aside
from the Broncos, because you listed a ton of possibilities
here for our buffs. Guys, where do you think Shador
and Hunter will eventually land?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I have seen everything in God's Green Earth for Shador Sanders,
for being as high as as number three overall. To
the New York Giants, who people have been saying that
that there's been more homework on Shador by the New
York Giants than any team of any prospect in recent memory.
So all that homework, they're trying to find their franchise quarterback.
So at the end of the day, I know they

(04:12):
have Russell Wilson now in the building of Broncos fans
are familiar with. I know they have Jamis Winston who
was petitioning for a job at the Super Bowl and
got his way and got one, So that's a very
crowded room. They still have Tommy DeVito as well in
New York. At the end of the day, I still
think the Giants are gonna draft Shadoor all that homework,
I think they're going to fall in love with the guy.
There's a lot of smoke of them moving. I think
the Shador is going to go there. If he doesn't,

(04:32):
he could really fall. I don't think at nine the
New Orleans Saints are in a position to draft that
franchise quarterback yet, a guy that maybe they don't love.
They have a lot of work to do and a
lot of captist situations that they're trying to fix. If
he falls past that, we could see Shador going all
the way in the twenties. Like I mentioned, the Pittsburgh
Steelers could be a team, especially if they don't unite
with with Aaron Rodgers who kind of tread and water there.

(04:53):
So we could be anywhere from two all the way
to twenty. He'll be a first rounder, he'll be He'll
fall no further than around twenty, which obviously the bron
Was pick could be in play for someone to trade up.
Travis Hunter, I think is going to go two overall
to the Cleveland Browns. I think you're going to fall
in love with this guy that I think that they
have a guy that's just elite on the field off
the field. He's gonna play both positions. He's going to
be that special player that is going to be able

(05:16):
to play both, not full time. There's kind of some
interesting notes coming out that maybe he could be a
wide receiver first with some cornerback packages, which I thought
would be the other way around. I really did think
he'd be a corner first with wide receiver packages, which
is a lot more favorable to a player who plays
both sides. But he's going to be special. He falls
no further than two, and like I said, those rumors

(05:36):
this morning of team's coming up for two and three,
maybe it is for Travis Hunter. I don't think the
Browns would move off of two and not take Travis,
but Travis Hunter could be a reason to trade up
and get him. So Travis Hunter goes top three. Shador
I think he still goes three, but he could fall
as far as in the twenties.
