And yesterday's college football slate of games going into the season.
If you grab a college schedule in July August and said,
what is the best the weekend for college football? What
is the best date on the calendar? Saturday, October twelfth,
all those games from like some of you've already mentioned,
Old Miss to LSU, to Orgon to Ohio State, multiple

Top twenty five matchups, Texas and Oklahoma. This was the
best Saturday in the preseason. It feels like it lived
up to the hype. Now, some games end up being blowout,
some games had comebacks, but that is the best slate
of games we may have until the college football Playoff
in December.

Cal's lost three ACC games, but I combined eight points. Yet,
it's a weird world we're living in. But the difference
is that. Okay, So let's say Oregon UH gets to
the Big Ten championship game and they play. For the
sake of this conversation, we'll say Penn State. Okay, Oregon
and Penn State both go undefeated in the Big Ten,
they face off the Big Ten Championship game. The winner

of the Big Ten gets an automatic buy to the
round of eight. So that's a huge deal that Let's say,
for instance, Ohio State is the number one ranked non
conference four winner. They're gonna draw the five seed. Who
are they gonna play? They're gonna play Boise State is
the group of five niggs.

All these terms are getting changed now the biggest non
conference team.

I think that's how the bracket could fall, if it's
one versus two, and that'd be a really nice game

Okay, so we can do Let's do the Ryan Day
one first, Ryanry, I saw Lou Holtz means popping back
up that Ryan Day. The biggest criticism of this guy's
career is that he can't be top five teams. I
believe the records now one in seven against top five teams,
which is it's a very interesting stat to have, Like
most coaches would struggle to beat the best teams.

But now when you're usually ranked ahead of them, there you.

Go that it's a fair criticism because you should be
beating something. They were the favorite going into the game.
So you've got that criticism. You've got Will Howard the
quarterback for Ohio State and whether or not he made
the right play at the end of the game, and
watching what Kyle McCord did again, the former Ohio State
quarterback against Ency State. Shout out to the Orange picking
up that win last night. Maybe McCord was better than

Howard and this game will go down in history is
how Dan laning out coached Ryan Day. Have you heard
about the twelfth man scandal now involving the Morgan or
those who haven't seen the end of that game last night.
There's ten seconds to go in the game. Oregon is
on defense. It seems as if Dan Lanning found a

loophole in the rules and intentionally through a twelfth player
on the field, like total, get on the field, get
on the field, get on the field, so they have
twelve guys on the field. They Ohio State runs a play,
it burns forth can so off the clock exactly right,
ends up being a penalty. But you can't put time
back on the clock. So because of them intentionally burning

time off the clock for a long down and distance,
it worked an Organ's favor. Those seconds proved to be
incredibly important. What do you make of Dan Lanning's wayne
which he bended the rules to help Organ win the
game yesterday.

you know what, Okay, I'm gonna pass on that.

I will tell you that I was driving around with

like he respected throughout the country. And I'm sitting there,
I'm hitting the dashboard before we go, and he goes,
this is why I love you, man. He goes, you know,
everything that works, he goes. You know how many people
calling to us, the raiders are broken and all those
they don't want to turn him out. So he does

Itast the NC State though, But if you're an Orange
fan like I am, if someone said the record of
the team would be four and one after five games,
you probably would have flipped NC State and Stanford. So
you're probably pacing for what you thought. But it's all
about Cayle McCord. I know they had some issues with
fran Brown in the end of that first half, trying
to figure out fran Brown almost blew a gasket because
NC State almost came back because they didn't have the

guy over the center. He was next to the center,
and it almost caught. It did cost them some points
and it was the wrong call, but records that good.
The difference between having a basically a fifth your quarterback
in McCord versus a teenager who NC State had a
quarterback that was a difference. A great atmosphere, but with
cords that he might be the best deep thrower in
college feb.

Shador Sanders my be really good, but the expectations for
Dianner'd be a big twelve contender, and the difference between
how much we know about Colorado football versus Kansas State

would have been far different if they completed that double
digit comeback and home and shocked the world. I guess
