Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
are one on one three back with second date update. Hey, hey,
we love love.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Maybe you're not necessarily in love right now, but you
went on a first date, you had a great time,
and you went that second date.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yep, we try to help you do that. How we
do it? Talking to Lazette right now, Lizette, good morning,
Good morning. Let's talk about your date this guy Alex. Right, okay,
how did you guys meet? First of all, and then
let's talk about the first date, and then we're going
to want to know what has happened since of course beach.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yes please, Okay, So Alex and I met unhinged, and
we were talking for a few weeks, you know, back
and forth and like really lighting a fire and everything
before we even decided to go out, and just kind
of making sure the communication was there sure and the
connection and he was awesome. He picked me up and
we went to dinner and Walnut Creek and then we

(00:57):
actually went back to my house with a bottle of wine. Yes, yeah,
okay for me, but it just was going really well.
So yeah, so we came back to the house. Then
all of a sudden right after I opened the bottle.
He totally just left.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
He left. He didn't say anything, No, he just like left.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
It was bizarre right after I opened the bottle of wine.
So I thought maybe there was something with that. But
he seemed really into it, and we were really into
each other and goul Anyways, I digress. I'm always like
really busy at work. I get slammed during the day
and I can't really talk much. For getting his messages
throughout the workday is like really welcoming. It's a nice break,
but unfortunately they have disappeared.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Oh no, yeah, I mean it sounded so promising, the
fact that he felt comfortable enough to invite him back
to your plan.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
He was gonna. I didn't know it got so scandalous
in the creek. Just kidding. Yeah, okay, well here's what
I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Please Alex leaves her place. He's not familiar with the neighborhood, right,
uh huh. So he drives straight into a wormhole and
realizes the space time can be warped. He's now in
the wild West, no cell service.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
What in the world I love you?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Do you mean, like, uh, Westworld, it's warped Like you
went through the word.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Wasn't just move along.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
I love it. I love it. I think it's a
great answer. We'll go with that.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Well on board, thank you, Let's call him.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
I'm sorry to cut you off before you call him.
One more thing that I think is kind of important.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
We had like this really great time, but we actually
discussed deleting our hinge accounts because we wanted to see
where things were going.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well, what in the world has.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Wormhole?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Wormhole? Okay, you guys, we're gonna call him. Let's regroup
and then we'll hit him up after this song. All right,
it's Second Date Update Star one on one three. More
variety from the two thousands of the nineties and to day,
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus Corey doing
Second Date Update. Lisette has been waiting patiently, no doubt,
holding her breath. Right before we call Alex, just see
what's going on, because you're not dramatic. I mean, she

(03:01):
got up all the way you're to your house with
the bottle of wine and then he just left. This
is so bizarre to me.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
We'll figure it out.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Is that you ready?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I'm so ready?

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Okay, here we go. Let's call him, I'd love to
get you a second date, but I need answers. Here
we go, Here we go, definitely.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Hello, Hi, may I speak with Alex?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Please?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
This is hi Alex.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
This is Marcus and Corey from Star.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
One O one three.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Hey Alex, what's that?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
We are a morning show on a radio station here
in the Bay Area, Star one O one three.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I'm guessing you don't listen?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Uh No, did I win something or what do you
guys coming about?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Well, we were hoping you wouldn't mind talking to us
on the air about a date you went on.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
We're doing something we call second date Update.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
This is this about that Buchan?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Oh wow, my goodness. Good guess. Yes, she floated us
your phone number. She would love to go out again.
She thought your first date went awesome. But then she
says you just left. Yeah, like literally you were in
her place and left, So now we're confused.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Look, I'm super into Loza. She's we had an awesome spark.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That night and right we heard her.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Normally I wouldn't accept an invite into someone's own but
she invited me into a home on the first date.
I mean, I just I can't get enough time with her.
This is what happened. I went to the bathroom and
when I came out, because that was on the phone,
like talking real low and basically blowing off our night
a conversation with someone like I over heard her saying
things like I don't see it turning into anything and

(04:54):
that it's no big deal. And you know, she really
appreciated the check from whoever she was talking to. You know,
like the phone call is going to save her from
the date or something.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
So I like one of those emergency phone calls that
you pre arranged with your bestie. I don't get that though.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Why would she invite you over if she.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Didn't have a good time?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I don't do it. It was like an awkward feeling,
like what is going on here? I just didn't feel right.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Speaking of slightly awkward feelings, So Lizette is actually listening
right now? Yes? No, yea, hey listen, we're just trying
to bring people together. Yeah, and she really liked you.
It sounds like you really liked her. This feels like
a misunderstanding, so maybe we can clear the Airzette, what

(05:43):
was this phone call about?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Okay, So, Alex, you know that I work a lot,
workaholic is an understatement. And there was a problem at
worked that day with an employee that needed answers, and
they needed answers before going to the meeting in the morning.
So I'm sorry. It was really had timing to take
the phone call, but you left so fast. I didn't
even get to tell you what happened.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
That I had nothing to do with him, nothing to do.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
With him, so it was all in my head. Basically
you heard.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
It is work related. Okay.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
So and like you said, I really liked him, he
really liked me. So yeah, to communicate better.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
So what's up?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
I mean, if that's the case, I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Can we get a second date?

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Oh yeah, I'm down man, I'm into her.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
You know.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I feel better now.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
How cute is this?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I'm loving it?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Does that mean I get to ring the cow bell?
The cowbell of destiny shall be wrong?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
You know what this call needs? It needs more cowbll
more cow bell?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, all right, so the second day it is right amazing.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
This sounds like a fun radio station.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
It is.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
You should listen.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
On the iHeartRadio app on demand as well as one
on one three. That's a plug. Okay, you guys, listen to.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
You guys in the morning and then maybe we can
get married on the air.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah, that'll cost you, just you guys.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Not yet, not yet.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Hang on the line YouTube, hang on. Thank you.
