Rebecca & Angelo Go To The Movies, But He Has Ghosted.

Rebecca went to the movies with Angelo. They even made out on the date. Now he is ghosting. Did it turn out he knows her dad?

dude you met. Angelo is his name.

Yeah. So basically I work at a grocery store in
San Rafel and he came in to buy some stuff
and he asked me for my number, okay, and we
ended up.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Going to a movie not Friday.

Speaker 6 (00:38):
I'm nineteen, so we didn't like go to a bar
or anything because I can't drink it.

Speaker 5 (00:43):
And he works in construction, so he's like quite fit.

He's you know what I.

Mean, if you know what I mean, like it okay.

And he's like cute, and we kind of made it
out a lot, okay, and it seemed like he really
liked me. But I haven't heard from him since then.
I just I'm a little confused because I thought it
went really well.

Rebecca has been holding guy named Angelo came into the
grocery store she works in San Rafel and straight up
got her number.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
That's old school. And then they went to the movies.
It's cute. He's nineteen, so they can't like go out cocktailing, right,
which is fine. This is so old school.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
And you felt comfortable enough with him for him to
give you a ride home, right, Yeah, so okay, and
it all worked out. There's a little bit of making
out and for some reason, for whatever reason, he has
now ghosted. So now everybody's caught up. Let's call Angelo
and see what's up.

This is hi Angelo. It's Marcus and Corey from Star

Hello, Hi. I don't suppose you listen to our morning show.

I'm sorry, I don't we should listen.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
We're delightful. Yes, okay, question for you. So we're doing
a segment on the show called second Date Update, and uh,
we had a call.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
From something you went on a date with very recently
who's feeling ghosted. But she thought y'all had a good time.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Do you mind talking to us about your date? Do
you have a second sure?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Great?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Her name is Rebecca, So do you a Do you
remember her? B? How did it go for you?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I do remember her? It went pretty well, I guess
you say.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Okay, did you go yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Why are you not getting back to her?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah? I did ghost her. So I was telling the
co worker about this date that I had like the
other day and telling him that I met her at
a store. How the whole night went and kind of detailed.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
And the first thing he said back to me was
that he also has a daughter that works at that
same store, and her name is Rebecca. And I found
out that he was her dad, basically, and so I
had to come up with a random name just to
kind of play it off.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
You know, you don't feel comfortable letting your coworker know
that you went out with his daughter.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, because you know, he's like my senior at work,
and I kind of respect the guy. So I can't
really tell him that I was with his daughter after
telling him all the details of that day.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Oh okay, all right, I guess that would be awkward.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Okay, Well, so here's the thing is that, uh so
Rebecca's on the phone, Rebecca you there.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, this is very out of the ordinary.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I'm not too bad, but like it's a small town
up there.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Wow, Hi, Rebecca, Sorry.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Hi, I mean, look, I get it. I guess I
just think it's kind of flame, like.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
We got along really well. I just I kind of feel.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Like it's no reason we shouldn't continue. But I guess
I get it.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Angela, there's no shot.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Definitely me not I can't just tell them the truth.
I'd be crazy. Well, I mean, you know, there were
other coworkers there too, so they're listening in and then
for me to just like you know, be like, oh, hey,
by the way, was actually your daughter, I would just
never hear the end of it.
