Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
He is the leading Republican candidate for New Jersey governor
right now. The primary is in June. Please welcome Jack Chittorelli,
who came so close. It was a big wake up
call bot for the Republican Party, by the way it was,
he was so close in twenty twenty one of beating

(00:21):
Phil Murphy, but not close enough. I thought you were
going to win, Jack, I thought, going in to the
accounting of ballots yet to be counted, that was happening
across the country. I thought you had it in the bag.
And man, it must have been a tough night for you.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Larry. We were in it to win it. But listen,
we were the spark that lit the fuse. Absolutely extremely well.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Donald Trump did well, and for thirty nine months in
a row, new Republican registrations have outpaced new Democrat registrations.
December it was seven to one. Here in January it
was ten to one. And the difference tray of problems
in Democrats is now by over two hundred thousand registered
voters to the benefit of Republicans. So when you think

(01:05):
of the closest of my race, we're in a good
position for this year.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
It was a huge wake up call for both the
Democratic and Republican Party. Republican Party learned from you. The
Democratic Party did not learn from you, and thus we
have Donald Trump as the president. But you're right, you
are the spark that lit the fuse. Let's talk about
the guy that's leaving office right now, Phil Murphy, he said,

(01:29):
for some reason, and I can't understand this at all.
You are such a polished politician, and I'm sure you
don't understand this either, but you're always on nationally, no
matter where you think you are. He was at Montclair
State University doing a student interview, and he said he

(01:51):
admitted that he was harboring someone who was here in
the country illegally over his garage, he said, and that
got a response that I'd like you to respond to
from Tom Homan.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
And if he's normally normally harbor and concealing and an
illegue island, that's a violation on Title eight. And I
stays called thirteen twenty four, I will seek prosecution or
the secretary will seek prosecution.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
What do you think, Jack.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
What the governor said, if in fact it's true, and
why would we believe it is not?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Since he said it.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
He's in violation of federal law, and so I've called
for the legislature to begin impeachment proceedings. No one's above
the law. What he said is in violation of federal law.
And that's why Homan said what he said in that
press conference. So we need to see where this goes.
But you can see how the administration, with the governor
spokesperson is now in recovery mode. Larry, the spokesperson is

(02:45):
now saying something the complete opposite of what the governor said.
And the governor's been silent since he has got a
real problem here in New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, he was on tape.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
He keeps saying he was misrepresented. Everybody heard it. Everybody
heard the interview, everybody heard tape. It's played nationally. Now,
there's no way you can come back from that. Now,
if it's not true, come out and say it's not true.
If it is true, you're absolutely right. He broke the law.
And I also believe even the sanctuary city policy, sanctuary

(03:18):
state policies, they're breaking the law too.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
And I know that as a part of your campaign
and what you'll do as governor, you want to roll them.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Beck on day one executive Order No.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Number one, No city will be a sanctuary city, and
we will not be a sanctuary state. But Larry, he
wasn't done there after he said he was harboring in
it as someone here who's not a US citizen.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
He taunted.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
He taunted a federal agency to come on his property,
which puts the state police in danger, who provide twenty
four to seven security to the governor and his family.
I mean, think about how irresponsible that is.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
He not only taunted federal authority, he taunted Tom Homan.
It's like, has any seen Tom Homand does that guy
look like he's going to mess around? Does that guy
look like he's going to take an idle threat like that?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Seriously?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Absolutely, and he did.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Here. The president is trying to make the country safer.
He was overwhelmingly elected.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Every governor has a responsibility, every governor, no matter what
their party affiliation, to work in partnership with the president
on deporting, identifying and deporting people that are here illegally.
And yet our governor went ahead and did this, you
know the other thing, Larry. It caused the wrong kind
of attention to New Jersey for the second time in less.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Than a month.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
A couple of weeks ago, Democratic US senator was sentenced to.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Eleven years in prison for corruption, Bob Menendez.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
And now we've got a governor that's saying things that
are in violation of federal law.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah, we have six major candidates for governor, who one
of them will be running against you? Because I think
you're pretty far ahead in the race for the Republican primary,
so I assume one of them will be running against you.
Have we heard anything from them about what the governor said?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Not one of them has commented.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
And yet in their debate of seventy two hours ago,
every single one of them said they would continue with
the sanctuary city, sanctuary state.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Policies of Phil Murphy.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Every one of these people is complicit Larry and his
failed policies that have really wrecked New Jersey. Or to
pass seven plus years, we fixed it come January next year.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
We recently learned, because of DOGE and because of Elon Musk,
that only six percent, six percent of federal workers actually
show up for work every day. They're still working remotely,
even though COVID is still around, but it's much weaker,
It's not what it was before the pandemic is over.

(05:52):
What is the percentage that we know of with state
workers in New Jersey?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Do you know fifty percent? And I've already told you
what it exacts.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Hocutive Order one on day one is Executive order two
on day one is every one of our state workers
getting back to work. Try getting somebody on the phone,
Try getting issue resolved.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
You can't. These people are working from home.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
We need them to be at their workplace in Trenton,
working on behalf of the nine point five million citizens
who pay their salaries.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Well, why don't I just ask you all the executive
orders in day one? You've already told us.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Two of them.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Well, listen.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
The other thing I do on day one is I
appoint an attorney general who will support me in not
having sanctuary cities, not being a centurary state, an attorney
general who supports our police, and an attorney general who
supports our parents.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
We don't have that right now.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
So they are the three?

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Are there?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Anymore?

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Do you bet?

Speaker 4 (06:44):
I call for the resignation of all those that sit
on the State Board of Education who've made all those
changes to the public school curriculum that we find so
very offensive. Let's get back to teaching critical life skills
like reading, writing, and math. And the last thing I
do on day one is I get rid of Phil
Murphy's conceived your rational energy plan. I'm never telling people
what car they have to buy. The markets will dictate that.

(07:05):
Not gonna tell them how to heat their home, the
markets will dictate that.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And we're not having wind farms off our Jersey shore.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Oh, I think that's going away now. I think they're
dying on the vine as we speak. Because Donald Trump's
in office. He had an executive order to end all
funding for them. And I saw that. Phil Murphy said
he's ending funding for them too, because why now there's
no federal money, he can't support them. So, but I
know you were out in front on that all along,
and I know a lot of people along the Jersey

(07:33):
Shore that thank you for that. Jack Chitarelli, Republican candidate
for New Jersey Governor. I can't wait to talk to
you again.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Jack. Same here, Larry, thank you. Sure?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Not bad?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
How about all that on day one? Look, I don't
think I don't think Tom Holman is actually going to
go after a sitting governor. He's got bigger fish to Fry.
The only reason he would, the only think of the
back of my mind where I think maybe he's going
to give him a scare, is just to let other

(08:05):
elected officials know across the country, don't mess with me.
