Speaker 2 (00:05):
So you know, there's reality TV and then there's real life,
and the drama on television has nothing on the drama
happening inside the Velasquez household. Every Tuesday and Thursday, gotta
check in with producer Karina's Crazy Family. It is time
for your favorite radio soap opera, Torina's Family Drama.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
So my mom texted me yesterday when I'm headed to
got my hair cut and she said, call me. Normally
she doesn't say call me, so I'm like, okay, so
I call her. She said, your dad broke down in
the minivan after he picked it up from the shop.
She's like, he's on the side of the road over
there by Costco and Valeo, And I said, okay, I'll
pick him up on my way back from Fairfield because
he's waiting for a tow truck. Basically, they did an

(00:45):
oil change on the minivan.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Uh huh, and forgot to put the oil cork back.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
You know what they forgot to do? My dad said
when he was driving back towards Valeo because he was
coming from Fairfield, the car was making hell of noises
and all of a sudden, all this smoke started coming,
so he pulls off to the side of the road
and looks under here's it's all the oil coming out
from underneath the car. So, my poor dad, he was
so stressed out yesterday. There's a triple A office that

(01:11):
was right there and he could have just gone there
and register to get the free toe. So no, he
paid two hundred and forty dollars to get a tow
truck to take it back to the shop. But basically
the car is dead. So now my dad's sixty means saying,
I can't see it because I don't have a car.
What about your mom's car? I said, Mommy won't let
you use a new car. She said, no, what because

(01:35):
my dad. You know, my dad's of a certain age
and he can't drive that good. And I said, Dad,
it's both of your guys's car. But Mommy said no,
Like even if it's just to go to Safeway, which
is less than a mile from the house. Uh huh,
she won't let him use it.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
It's broke down on the side of the road, and
your mom won't let him use a car that belongs
to both of them.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Correct, that car is under both of their names and
she will not let my dad use the new car
for anything. Does he get a ride in it? At
least my mom's had the car since December. My dad's
probably wrote in it about four times.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
What oh man? He was left in the dust and
Connie's got the only ride in town.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Will one get a second chance or is.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
He on a one way trip to Waksville population him?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
We'll find out on Thursday in a new episode of
Karna's family drama, Hey Mama, let you dead.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
He's a car, she said.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
