Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Ricky says those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
This year's Super Bowl will be the Kansas City Chiefs
and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
This is the Chief's third straight Super Bowl, so if
they win, they'll be the only team in NFL history
to win three straight Super Bowls. The matchup happens February ninth.
My fingers are cross that they don't win. I always
root for whoever I feel like is not gonna win,
So like an underdog, I'm an Eagles fan this time around.

(00:31):
Let's see how it goes. Like I said, February ninth
is when the Super Bowl happens. Hershey's is selling freshly
made Reese's eggs. They're shipped straight from Hershey's Chocolate World
just days after being made, making them some of the
most fresh hershey treats that you'll ever get your hands on,
and you can get them before spring, which is when
they're typically available. The Reese's eggs are available in a

(00:53):
massive three pound box for a very limited time. These
are gonna sell out. I know, three pounds of chocolate
like a lot. People go crazy for these things. So
if you love Reese's eggs, make sure you go on
their website asaps so that you can get them before
everybody else steals them from you. And Bandy is going
to receive yet another fine from the SEC after fans

(01:14):
stormed the court after a win over Kentucky over the weekend.
This is their third violation of the SEC policy and
they're gonna have to pay five hundred thousand dollars yep.
Previous offenses were once during the football season where they
took the goalposts down to the river, and the other
time was like, I don't know, a week or two
ago when they did the same thing. Yeah, but also,

(01:34):
congrats on the waiting. That's a big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
That's so much money.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
That's a lot of money. Third offense, I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Erica and Hendersonville. Good morning, Happy Monday. Welcome to one
O seven five the River. What are you up to
you right now?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
I am in the drive through line at Chick fil A?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Ooh, what are you getting a chick biscuit?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yes, I'm not a Chick fil A guy, so I'm
honestly shocked to hear they even open this early they
do breakfast then, I'm assuming.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yes, six am. Okay, Erica knows exactly what time she
was six oh one, right? Is that like your daily routine, Erica? Yes,
it's my way to work, so why not you know?

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Hey, I support it on And does it get crowded? Like,
are you in a line?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yes, there's like five cars in front of me this early. See, Kevin,
you're just so out of the loop. You had no idea.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I know, I'm vegetarian, Erica. I have never once in
my life at Chick fil a.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Oh no, I know.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
He lives a really sad life.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, but you know he's not going to be sad,
is you, Erica? Because you were the first color of
the day today.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Oh yeah, great, You're going to a show that we
can't tell you about, but it's going to be good.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Okay. I'm happy to tell her where it is. We
can't say anything.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
It's in Nashville, Okay.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
The only thing that we can tell you is that
it's in Nashville. Hopefully we can announce this later on today.
If you follow at one O seven five the River,
we will post it so that you will know what
it is. But congratulations Erica. We're so excited for you.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Thank you, thank you, have a great Monday, enjoy your
chick filan, and thank you so much for listening. Yes,
sir one oh seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach
and Manow in the morning.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I was just talking just a little bit ago, like
three minutes ago, about the fact that he has a
medical situation that he wants to share. We like to
keep things light hearted and fun here, and sometimes you know,
because we like to share so much of our lives
with you, it's not so lighthearted in fun exactly. Carol
wanted to let everybody know what's going on. Everything's gonna
be fine totally, but wanted to kind of share with

(03:41):
you all.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
And again, I'm very positive. I feel good about everything,
but uh, I don't know. A week and a half ago,
I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer, which is they say,
if you're gonna get cancer, this is the one you want.
It's very treatable, so basically just gonna remove the thyroid
here in a couple of weeks and that should be
the end of it. Like I will have to take,
you know, medication for the rest of my life. I've
once the thyroid is out because the thyroid does so

(04:03):
much stuff with the levels in your body, your hormones
all that. But I feel very fortunate to have caught
it when we did, My wife and I we did
like these like full body scans a little over a
year ago, and they saw like a little spot on
my thyroid. My doctor was like, we'll keep an eye
on that. And then a year later she's like, let's
get a let's get an ultrasound. It had doubled in size.
So then we did a biopsy and it was cancerous.

(04:23):
And I did a cat scan, and so here we are.
So two weeks from today is the surgery. Yes, and
I'm feeling good.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
We are excited for you to have the surgery because
I feel like, obviously Zach and I have known about
this for a little while long yeah than everybody else.
But we're excited for you to have the surgery because
we feel confident. We feel positive that obviously everything's going
to be entirely fine. Kevin has been nothing but positive.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Literally nothing positive.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
My wife thinks I'm too positive.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, almost to a freaky level of what positive.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yes, it's good.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I think that's great that you are so positive. And
you feel so good about this. Obviously you have great
doctors Vanderbilt, feel very comfortable with them, Vanderbilt.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I mean yeah, feel so fortunate to be here in
Nashville right here to have.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Such a great, great area that you can go to
a hospital with doctors that know exactly what they're doing
and make you feel comfortable. Yeah, which is great. Those
are all the most important things. Is that you feel
confident in your doctors, you feel positive. Everybody's here to
support you. We're here to support you. Everybody who's listening
is here to support you. Thank you, Ray, and everybody's
just like happy that you're going to be healthy.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I'm glad they caught it so quickly.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm so lucky Early, I'm so fortunate to have caught this,
or else I'd just be walking around with this and
not have any idea. So I mean anything, anybody, Yeah,
anything anybody can do. I have no symptoms. You're right early,
detection for anything, take advantage of whatever you possibly can.
Pursue all avenues because you never know until you until
you check, and.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
That includes genetics to if you have anything that you
know is in your family, go get checks. Because Kevin
literally doesn't feel anything right now, does not feel sick,
has no symptoms whatsoever. It was just that they caught
it this miraculous way.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Do you, I'm going to say on the positive train, Kevin, Yes,
now you can have a cool scar and chicks big scars.
He's married, Well, he can still accept the attention.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Okay, yes, yes, that's a positive collect.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
They we're getting advice on what chicks dig from Zach.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Yeah, stick scars, what they say, at least, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
We told the kids over the weekend. We told our kids.
I was nervous to do that, but you know, we
uh let him know. It's no big deal. And I
was just getting out and my daughter. I was worried
about my daughter, you know how she took the news.
And we told her. I was like, but I'll be
home for a week while I recover. I won't be
at work for at least a week. And she was
excited about that. And I said, and Mimi's gonna come.
And her quote was, then, yay, best surgery ever.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Is your mom? Yeah, grandma, So that's why she's really
excited for Grandma to come.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
It's all good. It's all good. Thank you guys, Ricky
and Zach for all of the love and support you've
shown me over the last couple of weeks. So it's
gonna be good. The one thing I'm not worried about
the surgery anything, I know I'm in great hands. The
one thing I'm a little worried about as a radio
host here, I'm hearing stories from people saying like, oh yeah,
it took me a year for my voice to recover. WHOA,
that's that's not like the most common. But I'm hearing

(07:02):
those stories a little bit.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Fingers crossed that nothing changes. If it does, I hope
that your voice gets super high pitched, just saying.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Three things you need to.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Know a few minutes past seven o'clock here on this
Monday morning. Thanks for starting your day with us. Ricky
Sanchez says those three things.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
A student led rally is going to happen today at
the state Capitol. Tennessee lawmaker's return to Nashville this morning
for a special legislative session, and students are ready to
meet them to ask for gun reform. State representatives Jason
Powell and Gloria Johnson are expected to speak at this event,
as well as Covenant School mom Sarah Shup, Sarah Shupe Newman,
and Antioch High School student Rafi Niazi. The rally's going

(07:42):
to happen at the Capitol Steps from one thirty to
three thirty pm today if you want to get involved, obviously,
everybody is welcome, even if you are not a student.
Timothy Shalli May he hosted it and performed on SNL
over the weekend. This is Timothy's third time hosting SNL,
first performing as a musical guest.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Though.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
First off, I just got to say he's an absolute
pro when it comes to SNL. I always think he
does a great job. He does not take himself too seriously.
He'll do pretty much anything on SNL, especially the things
that make him look absolutely insane. So if you get
a chance, I suggest watching the episode. But he performed
three of his favorite Bob Dylan songs as the special
performing guest. So here's a clip of him.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Are you cocking the.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
The sound great?

Speaker 3 (08:43):
He does a great Bob Dylan, which I mean makes
sense considering that he is Bob Dylan in a complete
unknown and he's getting a lot of you know, accolades
for his performances in that I was stunned when they
first announced that he was going to perform on SNL
as well, and I honestly, I'm not gonna lie, guys,
even though I love Timothy Shallome, I wasn't expecting much,

(09:03):
but I think you did a graduate.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah, the movie.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
I do have to watch the movie as well. So
that's on the list. And there's a new line of
alcohol free drinks that will still get you buzzed. They
do not have anything inside of them like CBD or THHC.
They actually alter your brain chemistry to create a relaxed,
sociable vibe and has three different flavors, black for focus,
red for unwinding, and gold for socializing. It's called Scentia

(09:30):
Spirits for right now, you can only get them exclusively
on Amazon, and it's been created by scientists in a lab.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Essentially, my first instinct is that that's terrifying.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Is that's a chemistry, Yes, altering your brain chemistry. It's
something that a lot of people are talking about right
now though, because obviously a lot of people are moving
more into non alcoholic drinks, so obviously they're looking for
more ways to kind of create the same buzz minus
any drugs or alcohol involved. So this is one of
the options obvious. Like Kevin said, something to think about

(10:01):
is the fact that they are altering your brain chemistry.
But here we are. I'm Ricky Sanchos, and those are
the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Thank you, Ricky. Let's play die with a smile. Right
after this, Zach is standing by with a fact. We
call it Zack's Facts. We're not gonna learn something together
next to the river, simple.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Title one.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
See if we can get a little bit smarter Zack's
Facts on one O seven five of the River.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
Well, if you ever laying in bed and you can't
sleep and your mind is just wandering, because that's what
mine did last night.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
I looked up this and elephants cannot jump.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Because they're because of the structure of their bones and
their legs, they cannot jump the form I know.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Do you think they think about jumping and they get
sad that they can't.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Yeah, they probably see all their other little friends out
there in the field and want to.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
Jump in the can.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
There's a children's book called Giraffes Can't Dance, where a
giraffe does in fact dance. I know one day an elephant.
Will you know he'll do it defy all odd Yes,
I want to see that movie.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Great children's book.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
That's your fact of the day, Ricky, Zach and Menno
in the morning on.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
I have been on a kick. I watched The Penguin.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
It's a good show.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
It's a great show. Kevin recommended it to me, so
I watched it with AJ. Such a good show. It's
about the penguin, you know, the bad guy in Batman.
So with that, I learned for the first time that
Batman chose his name from something that he feared. I
had no idea.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
I think that's in They cover that in one of
the Christian Bale Batman movies.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
I did not even realize that was like a thing.
So that's why he's Batman. What would your superhero name
be if you did the same something you're scared of,
something that you're afraid of. What would your superhero name be?

Speaker 5 (11:41):
Then, Zach Ugly contour Man.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I was thinking, like bird Man, you hate man.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Oh, that's another movie.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
I do hate birds but I also really don't like
it when my contour looks bad.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
It's ugly contour Man over here.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Three seven nine one O seven your superhero name if
we're basing it on something you're scared.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Of, Yes, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on
one O seven five The River, Eden and Murphy's Borough.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Welcome to one O seven five The River. Batman chose
his name from something that he feared. So if you
did the same, what would your superhero name be.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Well, I'm afraid of spiders and snake at the dark.
Spiders snakes in the dark, so you'd be Spider Snake
dark woman.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
Yeah, that's a long.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
And there is a Spider Man, but there is a
Spider Woman.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
There might be Spider Girl.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Spider Girl.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I don't think there probably isn't.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Yeah, well then you could be Spider Girl.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Bye and thanks for calling. Do you have one for you? Ricky?

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Mine would probably be falling off the Reformer woman?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
What's a Reformer?

Speaker 3 (12:52):
In Pilates, there's this big machine that's called the Reformer,
and it is so if you're not sturty on that thing,
you'll break your neck.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
It is quite the contraption. It's very interesting.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Every time I take a pilate's glasses and I'm gonna
fall off of it.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Oh, I did just look it up. There is a
spider girl. Okay, her name is may Day Parker.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
So probably Peter Parker's sister cousin something along those lines
like that.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
I'm sure they're related. But it's spider girl may Day Parker.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Okay, well, now we have spider girl too.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
My biggest fear is uh, small talk with neighbors and
like parents of kids.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Man, here's Kevin small talk man.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
I like to make a small talk on the on
the radio with people to call, but in real life
not so much.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Well, because you can hang up on them whenever you want.
In real life you can't just disup.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Hear Rackew, Zach and Menno in the morning, Leslie and Hermitage.
Batman shows his name from something that he feared. What
would your superhero name be if you did the same?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Broke bro broke woman, I are broke, broke.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Yes, broke, like I am terrified if people.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Oh, are you Rick? No, not so much? Okay, girl,
share them coins with us?

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Is Leslie in common? Because Zach's also afraid of peg
bro It's terrifying.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Zach has like eight jobs.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Well, yeah, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yeah, I know. I respect the hustle exactly.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Yeah, Leslie, thank you so much for calling in. We
appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Thank you guys, have a good.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Morning you too.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
We love rich friends.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Thank you, Zach, I appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Caids our holy rich friend.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
He doesn't even invite us anywhere.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Hey, we'll talk about that later, but we just we
can talk about it now, right the show is just announced,
Yes we can't just announced. Katy Perry is coming to Nashville,
and we have tickets all week with the Game of
the Day. Can when the very first pair next down the.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
River Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (14:57):

Speaker 3 (14:57):
All right, this was going to be a secret show,
but they already annow. So now we can tell you
what you will win for Kevin Manno's Game of the
Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. If you win name that
Tune Punk Rock Edition, you're getting tickets to see Katy

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, her Her Lifetimes tour is coming to Nashville, and
I really think this is the first pair of tickets
given out. I think so too. I mean it was
literally just announced. Yeah, so this is exciting. Six one five, seven,
three seven nine one oh seven. That's the phone number,
Ricky said at a second ago. The name of the
game this week, name that tune punk Rock Edition. So
it's gonna be slightly more aggressive versions of songs that

(15:34):
you know, popular songs.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
So we'll play this clue one time. Turn up your radio.
It's very short, it's five seconds. If you know what
it is, you call us the tickets to yours. Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Ooh, that's a tough one, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Six one five seven, three seven nine seven. Do you
think it's tough.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
I think it's tough. I think you got upset that
last week's was so easy and now you want to
make it hard.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
If you could tell what the guy was screaming the lyrics,
I mean, would probably give it away. Okay, Okay, we'll
see seven three seven nine one seven one seven five.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Ricky, Zach and men, oh lord, you are going to
play Kevin Manho's Game of the day on one O
seven five of the River. We think these are the
first Katy Perry tickets to be given away for her
new tour, because it just announced, literally like forty minutes ago.
She's playing Britstone Arena on August nineteenth, But you gotta
win name that tune punk rock addition to get these tickets.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
The first pair might go to Aaron in Lebanon, how
you doing God?

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Oh my god, I'm stressed now stress.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
We played it a second ago, but we'll play it
one more time for you if you can identify the song,
the original version of the song, you know what it is.
Other tickets are yours. You want to hear it again? Okay? Yeah,
Aaron and levinon name that tune?

Speaker 3 (16:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Nothing, no guests or anything. Okay, all right, Aaron you
sometimes a hot seat can be well tricky. But thanks
for listening. Thanks for calling battle Log later in the week.
Thanks Nicole and Dixon. Aaron didn't get it, so we
move on to you can you name that tune? Is it?

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Blank face?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Wait? Whoa? Whoa blank space?

Speaker 5 (17:18):
By?

Speaker 1 (17:18):
What?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Okay? But who?

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Who does the original?

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Though? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
And yes the band doing it there was They're called
I Prevail. But congratulations and col you're going to see
Katy Perry.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Yay, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
You are so welcome. I'm impressed that you got it
because that one's kind of hard.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
Well, my husband is a listener of them, so he
was a help. Okay you that friends.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
I love that cover of that song. So thank your husband,
thank you for listening to us, Thanks for calling, have
fun at the show. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Three Things you Need.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Just a bit passed eight o'clock on this Monday morning.
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Morgan Wallen has announced a new album in to The
album is titled I'm the Problem. Doesn't have a release
date yet. He said he's still working on it, but
the title track is coming out this Friday. His tour
is gonna kick off in June. Features feature several special guests,
including Thomas Rhtt and Miranda Lambert. They're hitting ten cities,
none of which are in Nashville. So I just want

(18:19):
to tell you that right now, you can sign up
for pre sale access through Ticketmaster if you do want
to go to one of the cities that are kind
of close to Nashville. General on sale for his tour
starts Friday, January thirty first on Ticketmaster, and obviously it's
gonna sell out pretty fast because it's Morgan wall And
so get in there quick if you want to go,
otherwise you're probably gonna miss out. A new report from

(18:41):
U haul has revealed the most popular states that people
have moved to last year. South Carolina is number one,
which means that they knocked Texas out to second place.
Texas had the top spot for three years prior. North Carolina, Florida,
and Tennessee around out the top five. Southern states continue
to see the biggest now of one way U haul moves.

(19:02):
So according to U haul, the South is hot right
now and everybody's moving down here. Nashville Scenes Hot Chicken
Weeks starts today. I love the National Scene does all
of these different food themed weeks. There's gonna be over
forty different locations in Nashville that are participating in this event.
You can get eight dollars hot chicken specials this week only.
You can check out spots that are classic like Hattie Bees,

(19:24):
Germantown Cafe, and more, and then some spots that don't
typically have hot chicken or you may not think that
you can find hot chicken at like Punk Walk or
Saint and Dieo. Those are both two spots that are
also on the list. You could check out all the
different spots at National Scenes website. That's also where you
can vote for which one is your favorite so that
they can win an award National Scene dot Com. I'mbri

(19:46):
Casanchez and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
One the River Raife's Zach and Meno. In the morning,
I saw this new poll.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
It says that people want to save money by cutting
out dating expenses because they said that it could save
them fourth thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
I mean that makes sense if you're going on a
lot of dates, Like it's like one hundred bucks a night.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
It's not four grand per day, right.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Maybe a year in a year, four thousand dollars in
a year. But that made me wonder, like, what's the
most you've ever spent on a date? Because four thousand
dollars is a lot of money. I don't feel like
I've ever gone in a date that somebody spent like
two hundred three hundred and forour do dollars.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
John feel like maybe in like the early courting days
when you first start dating, people are trying to impress
people and like throw down some serious money.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
And some I was going on dates of the wrong people.
Six five, seven, seven, nine, one oh seven. What's the
most money you have ever spent on a date and
we got to know how it went. Obviously, have a.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Date went, Yeah, yeah, okay six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine one.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
O seven five the River ky Zach and Menno in
the morning and Garbner it's the River.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
We were asking about the most expensive date you've ever
been on. People are cutting out expensive dates is a
way to save money. We got a text from Catherine.
She said, an next boyfriend surprise me by taking me
to a private Joey Fotone concert. I don't know how
much he spent, but it was a lot. He won
it at an auction, so I don't know if it
was just them. Probably not just them, but.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I hope it was just then that would be.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
So awkward, just like two people sitting there with Joey
Fatone singing to you.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
I love that idea. Why not? But there was a
new poll that said that people are cutting out dating
because they say that it could save them four thousand
dollars a year, which I'm just mind blown by because
I don't ever remember a guy ever spending that much
money on a date.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
We could be a lot of money.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Yeah, and I think I was dating the wrong guys.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
But also things are getting more expensive, like if dinner
and a movie like movies a loaner expensive, then you
add in dinner. I mean it adds up.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Well. Here are some options for lower cost dates that
you can go on, just in case you've thought about
I'm just not dating anymore. I'm going to save money
this year. There are ways to go about this that
you won't spend too much. He wants to be four
thousand dollars a year. You can do things like a
picnic or a hike, both pretty much. I gets free picnic.
You spend just a little bit of money on some food,

(22:05):
visit a museum, which most museums are free to go to.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
You just don't.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
If someone was like, hey, on our first date, let's
go to a museum, that date would never happen.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
I would not.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
I would like that a wonderful date to me. It
is like built in things to talk about. You know,
there's distractions, things to look at.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
The money that sounds really boring.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Getting to know the person. It's better than going to
a movie where you can't talk to them at.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
All, which I prefer don't talk to me.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
It's a good thing that you've been dating your boyfriend
for many many years. I know, because you would be
terrible to date right now.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Right now, all the time she.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Is coffee dates, although coffee is getting quite expensive, but
coffee dates are definitely cheaper than going to dinner.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
That's an option as well, for sure.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
So there are some ideas that you can do to
maybe help you save the four thousand dollars that people
are spending on dates.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
My wife and I don't do enough date nights, but
when we do, they are very expensive because then we
have to pay babysitters and everything. It's it's it's.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Exactly a lot.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
Kevin.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
You guys did recently offer your babysitting services though we did? Yeah,
on which I honestly will take you up at some point.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
Please do. I think we would be so good.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Kids would love that. Would you guys do it together?

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Ricky and Zach tag team babysitting your ga.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Yes, you like, trust me to be in your house alone?

Speaker 2 (23:25):
No, Ricky Ricky sac in the morning.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
The River Stick Lounge is the best spot for karaoke,
And apparently I'm not the only one that knows that
today's daily double tap on one O seven five the
River is Laura pre Pond She's from Orange Is and
New Black that seventies show. You will know her from
both of those. She was there over the weekend singing
karaoke with everyone.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
I was feel bad playing this because when you go
somewhere and you sing karaoke like you know, you're feeling it,
you're in the moment, Like, did they get only the
people in this room are gonna hear this?

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Nope.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
The best part though, is that everyone was singing with her,
so you actually don't really hear her singing. You hear
everybody else kind of singing along.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
And I love that she went with Weezer. That was her. Sorry. Yeah,
so here we go lore proof on doing karaoke, and

(24:28):
she was having a lot of fun up there. She
was really getting into it.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
I love it. I love it so much. I had
no idea that she lived here, but I think that's
absolutely freaking We're gonna.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Put the video up every day, the daily double tap
video that one of us find something going viral, something
we find entertaining. We put it up in our Instagram
stories at one O seven five the River on Instagram.
