this puppy and I go to get it. It's terrified.
It tries to bite me. It's missing all its front teeth.
All of its front teeth got knocked out. So I
rushed it to the animal hospital. Stays overnight. He's got
a lamp. All his teeth are knocked out, but he's
gonna live. So now the puppy is at my house.

I have heard that possums are actually friendly and they
are like so many people freak out saying, oh you'll
get rabies, but they are the least likely animal to
carry raybies.

Yeah. And what was crazy is I come walking up
beside of them because I saw the dogs crowning messing
with something and I heard something his and I was like, oh,
they got a cat or something. Yeah, the dog moves
and I see that big old mouthful of teeth man
a live I thought he's gonna.

She oh, she just sat in the truck. He took pictures.
She didn't want to come anywhere in there.

We got to talk about this puppy, do we have to? Yes,
it's been a hard weekend.

Okay, let me tell the story, because if you're not
on my social media, you don't know. I was driving
on the Interstate Friday morning after I left work. This
little puppy tried to cross the highway four lanes of traffic.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
It's standing in my lane, so I slow down.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
I'm like, oh no, and it steps into the lane
next to me and a car hits it. I'm gonna
cry just telling this stupid story. And I see the
puppy roll like.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Ten fifteen feet and then I see it.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Get up and go to the median where there's a
concrete wall on the median of the Interstate, and I'm like.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
He's alive.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
So I swerve over four lanes of traffic, get up
against the wall, back up twenty feet to get to
this puppy and I go to get it. It's terrified.
It tries to bite me. It's missing all its front teeth.
All of its front teeth got knocked out. So I
rushed it to the animal hospital. Stays overnight. He's got
a lamp. All his teeth are knocked out, but he's
gonna live. So now the puppy is at my house.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
You put yourself in these situations. I want you to
know that.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
You're like, literally, I get why you saved it. Dead's
nice at this point, though it is your problem.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
I could not let it die.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
And it's he's so many people online have gotten so
invested in him.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
He's gone viral on my threads and.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
So people donated and it paid for his vet bill,
which thank you, because I didn't have the money to
do that. And there's a girl I know who helped
me rescue another animal over the summer, who works at
the animal hospital that I called.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
And you know.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
He's gonna be okay. Here is the problem now, you
because I love him, he follows me everywhere. My God,
say daddy, my boyfriend. He told me he goes, do
not bring this puppy home. We cannot keep it. You
already have three dogs, we cannot have a fourth dog.
(21:17):
And I was like, I know, I'm just gonna take
care of him.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
And he's doing great.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
At my house and I have gotten emotionally invested, and
I loved it.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I bawled on my.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Way to work this morning thinking about giving him away
because I have a friend's dad who lost his rescue
dog a month ago and has been really sad about
his rescue dog. And now he's invested in the puppy,
and the dad reached out and said he wants the puppy.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
You set yourself up for every single scenario of the
You've done this so many times.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
I couldn't let it die.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
It this could not like you understand why you didn't
leave it on the road after the point of taking
it to there and finding a home.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
You should have been done with this situation.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
It's got a heal.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
I'm watching it for a week to out because it's
got to be on pay mets. If I would have
left it at the animal hospital, the bill would have
just kept racking.

Listen, listen, the problem is, you know if you take
it home. You're getting attached. You've done this so many
times for him, but I don't.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Care what you think. You need to stop this and
then go I can't give him up.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
You you were gonna have more animals in your life
than people.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
I'm gonna cry so hard. And my friend was great yesterday.
He goes, Look, me and my dad are cool.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
If you decide that, like this is your puppy, we're
not going to be mad. He was like, because I
know you went through a traumatic experience with him.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
I love him.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
You've got to chill out.

You're not good at it. You need to I know.
You know what, how about I come take the dog and.
