Speaker 1 (00:00):
Start your day on a positive note. Awesome Sauce six
ten weekday mornings with the B ninety three Morning Show.
I mean, I figured, why not just keep on going
with the dog theme today. Yes, I'm about to post
those pictures the B ninety three Morning Show. We have
turned ourselves into dogs because I know the trend right
now is turning your dog into a human. Yeah, but
we did it the other way.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Well, we don't have dogs right now. True, so I
have a cat, but my cat, it's a cat. They
won't sit still long enough for me to take the picture.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
And you will not be surprised as to what type
of dogs at Tunata. But this is a pretty awesome
story earlier this week. It doesn't start out awesome, but
it ends awesome, I promise. A two year old boy
wandered from his home in Arizona and this created, as
you could imagine, panic in the family and in the community.
Of course, more than forty people assembled like a search

(00:52):
and rescue team almost immediately. This was community members, police officers,
and rangers, and they searched for sixteen hours or straight
with no luck. Whoa There was no trace of the
little two year old boy, and everyone was on high alert.
But then there was a big break in the case.
A rancher who lived about seven miles away from the

(01:13):
boy's home. Seven miles away, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
A far walk.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
This is a two year old. Yeah, found his dog, Beauford.
This is the rancher's dog sitting by the entrance of
the ranch with the little boy right next to him.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
That's amazing, isn't that wild. We don't deserve dogs. I
say that over and over. We just don't. They're just
the best thing in the world.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
After alerting the boy's family that their son was found,
the rancher brought him inside, gave him a little water,
gave him a snack, got him to calm down enough
to explain what had happened. He said, did you walk
all night long? And he said, no, I laid up
under a tree and then the dog found me.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh, and that's a two year old.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
A two year old.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Oh gosh.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
The rancher wasn't surprised that Beuford found him. He is
an Anatolian Pyrenees, so he's like a livestock guardian dog. Oh,
that's kind of what he's spread to do.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
That's really cool, is.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Protect the smaller animals and you know two year old, Yeah,
that's a smaller animal. So he just kind of patrols
within half a mile of the house all night and
keeps coyotes away stuff like that. So he's guessing that
he found him over near the horse pasture or somewhere
under the tree he was talking about, and just you know,
brought him home because for safekeeping.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
That's what Yeah, it's what he was trained to do.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Beuford.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Beuford, Oh, so.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
That's what he does. He loves kids, and he said
he can imagine that he wouldn't want to leave him
when he found him. So Beuford was rewarded with a
steak dinner for a job well done.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
He should get all the steak dinners and all the
belly rubs and all the treats and all the pup cups.
