positive note. Awesome Sauce usually around six ten weekday mornings
with the B ninety three Morning Show. We're a little
bit late today. This is an awesome story though a
little bit of history with a little bit of good
deed mixed in. Harley Davidson the founder's home. I think
this is in Scotland, saved from demolition by a group

of devoted bikers. Oh wow, I know, isn't that incredible?
The ancestral home of the co founder of Harley Davidson
Motorcycles has been saved from demolition after it went on
the market and it was about to be scooped up
by developers who intended to tear it down. It's called
the Davidson Cottage and it's located in the Angus Village
in Scotland. It was home to William C. Davidson, who

emigrated to America in eighteen fifty seven, where three of
his children, Arthur, Walter and William joined twenty year old
William Harley to create the iconic Harley Davidson Company. Now,
the property had really been run down over the years
and it was painstakingly restored by biker officionados who transformed

it into a recreation of the mid nineteenth century dwelling,
so like a historical kind of like museum in a way. Wow.
The property went on the market again, which required another
push to save it, and it was the Davidson Legacy
Preservation Group was formed and they won a matching grant
from the UK government, but they needed to raise more

than three hundred thousand dollars to get the keys to
the cottage. So after about three years and a lot
of individual donations, the Harley Davidson company stepped in at
the last minute to provide the final funding to get
the team over the finish line. That's incredible. So the
cottage has been restored. The pictures are very very cool.
It's just a simple stone house and then it's got

like all of these badges out front, all of these
plaques on this big Harley Davidson's side. I had no
idea that it was three brothers from Scotland who had
emigrated to America and started this huge motorcycle brand. No. Yeah,
it's like the biggest one here too, and it's like
an icon in America and all over the world. I
think that's pretty awesome. Yeah, it's amazing. That's how you
