Speaker 1 (00:00):
Michigan's number one for new country B ninety three. We
are commercial free to get you into work in school
with the B ninety three morning show. I'm Ali and
I'm Mike. He's the one with the haunted house.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is what happened. So let
me go first start off by saying, I have three kids.
I have a ten year old, I have a five
year old and an almost two year old, Cecily Milo Sebastian.
My middle child, Milo, at some point woke up in

(00:30):
the middle of the night a couple of days ago,
and we have nestcams in the house, and so we
get a notification if it goes off, if he starts
walking around or whatever, and so that goes off. So
we go to like figure out what's going on. We
hear him crying, and we're like, oh, geez, what's going on?
Out of nowhere. We're both kind of waking up figuring

(00:51):
out what's going on. We hear him crying out of nowhere,
the loudest blood curdling scream I have ever heard anybody
make in mine entire life. We thought somebody was in
the house. We thought something was going on. We had
no idea, but it's a scream I've never even heard before.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
And this was something that you told me. Your bedroom
is like you guys are not on the same level
as the kids, Like you guys are one level below them. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah,
so there are some stairs to get yes to where
they are.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Well yeah, so that's we used to have walkie talkies
and then we we'd lost some of them. I don't
know anyways, so we use the nestcams now. So yeah,
so we hear him scream, but we can't see him
on the nestcams, so we run up the stairs and
once he's crying, we're already going up the stairs. Anyways,
we're falling over stuff. I'm like in boxers and my

(01:43):
blanket wrapped around me. Oh yes, freaking out and he's
sitting at the top of the stairs and he's just bawling,
and I'm like, there's like there's a robber here.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Like I'm looking out every window, every door, and I
guess Alexa had gone off, like the Alexa in the kitchen,
because you know when that yellow ring goes off, and
it's like you have a notification, yes, and so somebody
either said something to the alexa, my daughter or him
said something to the alexa, and then he thought somebody
had said something to the alexa and assumed the alexa

(02:18):
voice was like a stranger's voice. He called it a
bad guy's voice. He thought there was a bad guy
in the house, and so he's screaming. Then he thought
it was Then we're like, like my wife friend, like,
is it a ghost?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Was it a ghost? Like he didn't know what it was.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
He's happened, yeah, because sometimes Alexa just be talking for
no reason, right, It's like, uh what, Yeah, sometimes it
just goes off for no reason and we're like, what
is happening?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Have your kids ever just done something?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Like my kids are in that face where they do
funny stuff all the time, but like, scary stuff sticks
with you.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Scary stuff you remember forever.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
This morning, my daughter woke up and decided she wanted
to blindfold herself while she was getting ready, just to
see if she could do it. But it's the scary
stuff that I remember with my son screaming at the
top of his lungs, and you were telling me something
about was it your niece or was it your nephew.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah, my niece this past weekend. She was trying to
be sweet, but it just it it hit me the
wrong way. So the house may or may not be haunted.
We don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It seems like Alexa was kind of the the responsible
party in freaking out your son.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I feel like kids, and even like kid's toys, and
in this case it is Alexa just scared, like they're
creepy at times, they're scary at times. Not intentionally. Who
set off the Alexa, I genuinely don't know. We have
a nestcam in the house, so I could see him
coming down the stairs, and that's the only place we
have it is to see when they wake up because
we're not on the same floor, and then in our

(03:47):
youngest room, like the baby's room.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
That's the only two nestcams we have.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I don't have anything in the kitchen where it went off,
And I have no idea why he would go in
the kitchen if he was coming down to talk to us,
because he would have to go to our room and
there would be no reason go to the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, that's freaking very My niece this past weekend she
found like one of my dolls from when I was young,
and it was just like me, doll. I don't know
if you, if anybody remembers those, but you like ordered
them from a magazine so that they look just like you,
your eye color, your hair. You got like a matching
outfit with them. And I haven't thought about this, doll
in twenty five years probably, And she's like, hey, I

(04:24):
found this. I fixed it up for you so you
can take it home with you. I was like, why don't,
why don't you keep it safe for me? And you know,
I'll come back and get her when you're done with
her or whatever. I didn't realize that she had like
set her up. So I'm at my parents' house and
I walk into the kitchen like early on Sunday morning.
I'm the first one up, and there's just this thing

(04:46):
sitting at the kitchen table like looking and I.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Was like, waiting for your soul.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Oh, it freaked me out so bad. She was trying
to be so nice.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
It's like, it's a creepy kid moment. It's really what
it is.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
We started talking about creepy kid moment because something triggered
Mike's Alexa.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, like two o'clock in the morning, and my son
had been up looking for us or walking towards our
room or whatever because he was having like a nightmare
or something, and that thing went off, and that kid
just screamed at the top of his lungs to the
point where we were shooting up the stairs. You know,
I've been my boxers in a blanket over top of me,

(05:25):
just like freaking out, like because we thought somebody who
was in the house.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, and I'm sure he was freaked out, because I
mean that does happen. Alexa will just go off randomly, Yeah,
and it's like it always kind of gives you the creeps.
But we're talking about your creepy kid moments. Six one, six,
two four two ninety three, ninety three, Good.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Morning to welcome to the B ninety three Morning Show.
What's your name away.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
From I am Racy from Green.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
All right, what's your creepy kid moment?

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Okay, So we are sitting at the kitchen table kind
of like a dining room, and our living room was
kind of adjacent to that, and my daughter, who was
about three at the time. Weird is myself, my husband,
and another couple of our friends, and she's playing and
she comes over and she says, Mammy, I don't want

(06:13):
to play with the people with the red eyes anymore.
Oh no, what No freaked us out. We're like, uh
what
