His name is Vigilante Talks.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
You already know what it is, one of the newest
members of the Babyfaces.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
And iHeartMedia team.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
We appreciate everything that he's done for us with occasionally
helping out with us some graphics, some videos and all
that fun stuff and just overall bringing his energy. We
are coming at you you on a Wednesday. My gosh,
baseball season just started for me, dude, I have like
seven different jobs and I'm just losing track of time here,
but it finally a Monday night.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Raw has been a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Out of whack just because it's been coming on at
like three o'clock in the afternoon, and that's when my show,
Coffee and Company starts on seven ninety. So you guys
are here, want to catch up on some sports and
catch me and Nick coffee three to six on Sports
Talk seven ninety. But we're here to talk about wrestling.
Our other guy, Billy Billy Prickett.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Is still out.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I don't know if you notice this, but I guess
we'll just go ahead and break into the world right now.
Billy Prickett, co host of the Baby Babyfaces podcast, our
third member of the show. He just officially welcomed in
a new baby, new babyface into his life days ago,
and he narrowly avoided having an April Fools baby, So

(01:50):
congratulations to him.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
We look forward to having him on the show again
sometime soon to show his face.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
But we got a new baby face in the world. World.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Now, what's up, Vigilani? How you do with my friend?
It's been a been about two weeks since I talk
to you.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yeah, man, everything's good. Everything's good. First of all, congratulations
and blessings to Billianda family. That's right, you know, everything's good, brother.
I've seen your busyus a busy, busy, busy.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Busy A little bit man, it's it starts to get
it starts to get a little bit wild for me
around this time of year. But you know, I'd rather
keep myself busy. I tell myself, dude, I'll sleep when
I die.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
That's that's how it should be.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Hopefully that's no time soon. I got to Markland Water.
I have my nicotine packs. I got my vape right
here to get us through the show. So we'll be
all right.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Man. I got my tribal chief. This helps me show.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Collect Do you collect action figures or is that just
something that you got along the way?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Only only the tribal chief, nobody else, only the truck
with chief.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
That's been a fun thing that I dove into last
year as I just started following people that like collect
that's stuff and action figures, and I had this very
addictive mindset personality. Anyways, once I just got one because
they look cool, I started getting more, and then I
start following collectors on YouTube and Instagram, and then I
go out hunting and chasing and you can find different variants.

(03:15):
You can find to seth rolins wearing a green instead
of the blue and you get the Chase variants cards and.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
People go crazy for these things.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Bro, It's nuts.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
And it just got too old for me, dude, because
there'd be I was probably going to Walmart and like
Target and like three four times a week.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
I was waking up.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
That was the first thing I was doing before I
went to work, just to go see like what was dropping,
and they just they weren't putting out anything new. But
I'm looking online and they got like the end cap
displays at the WrestleMania or the World Rumble, and I'm like,
we're still hauling the Shane of Basler that was dropped
last year, or Ronda Rousey, and it's just like so annoying.

(03:55):
But like back when the Bloodline was like It's week,
that's when I was going it like it was it
was impossible to find the Jimmy U. So it's possible
to find the Jays, Like they keep making the same
different romans, but I still like them.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
So I've got all of them in The Little uh
Uh in the Little Ring too, so I got.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
The I'm gonna to be honest with you, I have
never seen the j the Jimmy or any of those
in real life. Only in the Instagram. Really, that's how
crazy it is out here where I'm at with those things.
Every time I go to Walmart, the section where what
the figures is at, it's always empty.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
It's depleted.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yep, I didn't know that it. It really got like that,
and there was just like no.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
No re upping, no restocking on any of it. So
I just kind of died down for the longest time.
And now they've released several other more and now they
got like the Yeat Juso and stuff like that, which
I wouldn't mind getting, but already had the bloodline they
already posed.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I got solo.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I guess the main one I need now is a
Ja Jacobs come out with a Jacob one, so I
need that, and I actually find because I used to
love playing with that ship when I was a younger kid.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I used to love getting the figures.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
The matches that I would put on in the storylines
that I put on was a phenomenal. I wish I
had some of the technology like they did. Now people
have their own like arena sets.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
And crazy how people do that, right.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Dude, It makes like you.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Imagine the amount of time that they that it takes
for them to do that.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Bro, Yeah, like I don't, but they make it look
like a real crowd. They got barricades.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Up.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I was never able to afford or get that kind
of stuff, but it's pretty cool now. They got like
the big, actual scale rings instead of the small, tiny
bouncy ones that my parents are.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Only able to.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yeah, I don't. I don't have the time for it.
Yeah exactly, I feel like I don't have the time.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
You'll you'll run out of time and then you'll run
out of space, and then at one point, because you're
you're a kid at heart, but your reality will always
set in that you're an adult and you'll look at
yourself like.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Why am I collecting toys?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
But it's just like a fun rush when you're out
there looking and you have to see your favorite superstar
on the shelves, it's uh pretty fun. There is actually
a time where I was working at home last year
and when my now fiance she had left to go
on a solo trip overseas. So I was sitting there
board and I look over to my left and I
have a wrestling ring and it's full of action figures.

(06:14):
So what do I do at work? I'm sitting there
bah bah spear blah blah blah, do that for five
minutes and then a couple of minutes go by, and
I'm like, what am I doing? Yeah, but it's still fun.
It's my eighty h d type of sense. Sometimes somebody
needs to get hit with the steel chair. It let's out,
it lets out something. It's it's pretty fun. So I'm
not knocking anybody that does it. But it takes a

(06:34):
lot of time and a lot of money and a
lot of.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Space a lot because these things are expensive.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Brother, Oh dude, I wish it they look like how
they look now when I was a kid, but I
never really paid that much attention to them.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I always find the ones, like the one that you
have right there is the like elite where they're not
the ultimates. They're right in between the basic elites and
then the ultimates, so you got a posability where you
can flex them and all these different poses. They started
coming out with those kind of figures as I was
getting out of it. When I was growing up, they
only had like the basic figures, couldn't really pose them.

(07:07):
But I always enjoyed the basic ones because they were
like a little bit more stiff and made like that
sound and like these are.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I likest each other live action dude.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Like I made it look like I was actually making
them work. They were throwing working punches, they were calling
out matches. You know, I made it look like an
actual producing thing. But with the with the posable ones,
I always thought that those are a little bit harder
because their joints were like you had to you had
to mold them in to make the moment.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah, as natural. So I know this is what everyone
tunes into. Babyfaces.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Listen to two grown men talk about to talk about toys.
But you guys, then to hear two grown men talk
about pro wrestling, Right, that's what we came for as
a salute our tribal chief, right there.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Big a day for him, just a couple of days ago.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
On SmackDown, of course, we finally take a few steps
to where we're seeing that all kind of cultivate. You
had the contract signing of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and
CM Punk and it is now as we talked about
on the last episode, it is scheduled to made Him
at Night one. Correct, Yes, so that's gonna be the

(08:15):
main event. What do you think about this whole contract
signing and of course all the little details that went
into it, from facial expressions to hints to what do
you think is next for these three as we built
on the WrestleMania later on this month.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Well before before I tell you what to think about them,
I think Roman Roman reigns. Roman Roman reigns sounds better
than Cody Cody Roads. Sorry, guys, but the Dragon Chief
is the travel Chief and you just got to acknowledge him. Now.

(08:50):
What do I think about the contract and all of that.
I think I think it was I think the way
they handled it was was perfect. Rollins and Roman having
a brotherly argument at the place where they came in
together saying, you know it's your fault that we're here,

(09:12):
and now you know you okayed him and now I
gotta clean your mess again. That that was. That was epic.
There's no way I don't think we will ever be
able to replace Seth Rollins and he and Seth Rollins
definitely doesn't get the amount of credit and props that
he deserves, right and maybe is because, like you know,

(09:35):
the character that he plays. I'm I push him to
the side a little bit because of the character. But
Seth Rollins did great Roman as always, and then that
Roman does is like he takes he takes anything to
another level, everything for his mannerism and and how he

(09:58):
carries himself in the ring. And the CM punk situation
was what you know, we know is the little sprinkle
on top a lot of looks between Paul Hayman and
seem Punk makes you wonder what is really going on here?
When seem Punk is about to sign and you see

(10:20):
Poul Hayman in the back going, you know, it's like
it makes you wonder what is real, what is really
going on? And then of course the ranch at the
end of it, where Punk says, you know, this is
not the favor. I'm old. I'm pretty sure some of
us knew that that was gonna happen, that this is

(10:41):
not a favor. I don't think the favor is this match.
I mean the favor ultimately is gonna be anything to
do with a title. He wants to get a shot
at the title. Yes, WrestleMania. People are too focused on
CM punk. Main focus is event in WrestleMania. No, he

(11:02):
wants to mean event in WrestleMania. But he's a wrestler,
So I say, every wrestler's mean gold is getting gold,
and I think that's that's where the favor comes in.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah, it's I love that little uh monkey wrench that
they threw at the end of there, because that's even
what I was just expecting, is at seeing Punk at
the end of the day once a WrestleMania main event.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
But the character would also probably love to have a
title too. He's also chasing glory.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
He wants He's always wanted to be mentioned in the
same hierarchy that Hogan was or John Cena was, and
ever since he's been gone, Roman Rains has kind of
put himself up there. So seeing Punk especially, the character
wants to have that, so that would be interesting. I'm
wondering where Paul Hayman factors into this because could that
you know, favor just be like you leaving Roman Reigns

(11:56):
to come back to me. I don't see Paul Hayman
betraying Roman Reigns because they've already done so much, you know,
like the Hall of Fame stuff where he inducted him
and he's he's now overtaken. I think at least brock
Lesnard for Paul Hayman's guy and everything that Paul Hayman
has done. So what do you what do you think
of the speculation of that Hayman turn is gonna have

(12:18):
or is that just kind of like a red herring
and it's just perfect that he's a great actor and
learns how to play the we.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Got to keep our eye on him too part.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
I think that's what that's ultimately, that's what it is.
If there's gonna be a change in Paul Hayman at
some point, it's probably gonna be bron Breaker somewhere in
the future. I don't think he's switching from Roman to
see him Punk, you know what I mean. I think
he's really good at playing that angle where you're always

(12:49):
thinking he is he the one concerned the narrative And
it may seem that way, I mean, because he's really
good at it, But you know, his leta see and
Punk is always gonna be his leta see and Pucket.
It's never gonna waiver. We have seen it throughout time now,
even in front of Roman, and he's he's able to

(13:13):
show seeing Punk that he cares. But I don't think
he's betrayed Roman.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
It's gonna be interesting to see.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Also what you mentioned about or about Seth Rollins, Seth
still kind of feels like a third wheel in this
whole thing. There seems to be it seems like the
heat between Seth and Punk has already been settled just
because they had that match, that they had that cage match,
and then they already had the first match or the
main event on the first raw of Netflix, and so

(13:44):
it seems like everything was just kind of let out there,
and this is their way of kind of getting Seth
Rowlins into it, kind of the same way that he was.
Some would say he was interjected into last year's feud
and eventually ended up working. They told the fun story
and how it all rounded out with the Cody's shield
and all that. But I wasn't particularly on the angle

(14:05):
of getting Seth in there anyways. But like I said,
it all played out, it now sort of feels like
he's just in there to be in there, I feel like,
and me and Billy have talked about this and posted
about this before. It's gonna be weird because right now
it seems like it's just a meaningless triple threat when
you could have had either men, either of those three
men just face one another in a two on two match,

(14:26):
whether it be Punk and Rollins one more time, or
Punk and Roman reigns, or Roman reigns in Punk, which
seems to be where all the heat's at right now
because of the Paul Hayman element, or you could have
also always went the Roman and Seth route, because last
match eight ever had was completely like it was a
royal rumble match right where he choked him out and

(14:48):
then he got disqualified, and that was last time before
the whole It's when he came back down in the shield.
We were at that WrestleMania in Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
It was a good Saint Louis. It was in Saint Louis.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
So I don't know, dude, It just it seems like
three of them in there kind of forced. So we'll
see where it takes us. I guess there's still a
lot of time, but I'm still I'm still underwhelmed by it,
just because I don't know. Am I just used to
the fact of seeing Roman reigns in this spot to
where he's a champion and he's being the chase one.
Now all of a sudden, it's just like personal feuds
for him right now, since there's no championship involved.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
I think I think this that main event would have
had more stake if in the contract there were something
else that says this is for the number one contender.
If they would have made that triple threat between Seeing
Punk Roman Reigns and See and seth Ronins be a

(15:45):
number one contenders match, it would have made a lot
more sense than just a grudge match between all three
of them.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Oh, absolutely, or some sort of.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I thought somehow before Jay ended up winning the World Rumble,
I thought that they were gonna get Guther's title involved
into this and it would be the second title and
one of those guys are going to try to make that,
you know, as prestigious as they wanted it. But triple
threat is what we're getting at WrestleMania. For that, it's
going to close Night one, so that already leaves up

(16:18):
the next main event, which we already know is going
to rock Solid Night too. It's Cody Rhodes and John Seen.
The last time we got on here, VIGILANCEE, we were
talking about it was Seena's first time coming out and
speaking as a heel, you had said it was the
best babyface turn. Was it better than Hogan right ready
that it was best executed since Hogan.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
It was really fun.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Now that the steam has started to not die off,
and I'll go ahead and say it's died off just
because I feel like it wasn't capitalized on immediately in
hindsight's twenty twenty, now that I look at it, there's
still a lot that could have been capitalized on immediately.
But we've had a few weeks. He's come out, him
and Cody have had a few face downs. What did

(16:59):
you think about this more recent one this past week?
And there's still overseas in the UK. Right they were
in London?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
I think, yes, they weren't London one day. I I
think that John Cena's Hill Turn went from legendary to
ordinary in five weeks. And I see what I'm saying.
When it happened in an elimination chamber, not only did
it shock a lot of people because they didn't see
it possible, but there was there was a feel and

(17:29):
a cinema to it, you know, with the rock being
involved and all right, and you know the way the
skateble will tell that story. But then you go two
weeks where we don't see Sena or the Rock. Then
the third week, Sena comes out and and takes a
dump on the crowd, says no word to Cody Bounce.

(17:50):
The following week, now we're four weeks into the heel turn,
he does the same SAC promo. I don't care what
nobody tell me. It was the same ASAC promo. And
and then here comes the fifth week where he actually
cooks Cody. I'm not saying that that Cody didn't do good.
Cody did Okay, Cody did a good job. You know,

(18:11):
whenever you're able to go somewhat at a level with
Sina is considered a good job. But if we take
the fandom away and we look at it from a
perspective and the points that was made and the attitudes
and all of that, and I mean, Sena cooked. But
yet it just feels like because the Rock is not

(18:34):
being mentioned, not around, it feels ordinary. It's feels just
like any other heel turn where the bad guys just
get mad, just get pissed that the new champion doesn't
deserve it more than he does. Where in reality, when
you first gave us the story, it wasn't because of that.
It was because the Rock wanted the championship. The Rock

(18:57):
wanted his own champion, not seen. It's pissed that Cody
has become the new him. Yeah, you know what I mean.
But hopefully, hopefully, you know, we still got time Monday,
we're bagging the United States. Hopefully it's not such a
bad trip for The Rock to show up. You know,

(19:17):
he already spent the last four weeks promoting his new
drinks and his new ship that do with WWE, his.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Body wash, and his low shit.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
So hopefully now he got some time for us now
that we're going to be in the United States, and
they could pick it right back up and Mason sense
out of all of this.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Yeah, Rock is the major thing missing right now.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Like even when you said it last time, when uh
Sena came out made his first heel promo, you said
it was fine with him not mentioning Rock there.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
But I mean, at.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Least it's got to be promo, because that's all that
they showed afterwards was the brutal beat down, Like this
guy just beat you within an inch of your life
and right, and he's like he joined the bad guy
who was wanting you to join his side. So like
now the story is and that's fine. That could the
story of him always just built up anger and the

(20:09):
crowd just always never knowing that they loved them or
if they hated him. If you've seen us, Sina sucks
Like that's fine as an underlying current, but like what
does that make you join the Rock? Like if you
win the championship, does that mean like you and the
Rock are going to be like stronger than ever? Like
it does he just does a Rock just go away again?
Thank you for winning the championship and beating Cody Because

(20:30):
at that point, why can't the Rock just face Cody
Roads for the for the belt anyone else yet to
come back for it? And he has to come back
for this, so like, I don't know, it just feels that,
I mean, like have have Like what what Rock and
Sina we're doing? Way back in the day when Rock
wasn't able to make it, he was throwing some Rock
stuff off the or Seena stuff off the bridge. He
was doing the promos with the on portrait mode, Like

(20:54):
you don't know why they're.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Not getting better than what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Now exactly like it's show He's the final boss, show
him trying to screw Cody over trying to like, hey,
make sure Cody doesn't leave London unscathed, and he's got
some other people working for may have Carry and Cross
take him out or something.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
I don't they've had that weird thing going on.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Yeah, no, they had. They had a lot of great
opportunities with this storyline the way it was going. But
I don't know if you remember when the Rock came back.
Me and you were texting and you were kind of
hyped that the Rock came back. Yeah, I don't know
if you remember what my response was. I was like,
it all depends how much time he has, yeah, for us,

(21:38):
I mean for you know, for the universe, how much
time he has to give us. And that's just it.
And like I've said it to people, I said it
to you as well. When he came in and he
announced WrestleMania forty two, I told everybody, this is the
only reason why the Rock is here this weekend. He
just wanted to tell us we're WrestleMania for is going

(22:00):
to be And that's just and that's just how it feels.
And it just feels like now we have a plot
hole in the probably what's supposed to be the biggest
storyline going into WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Yeah, as one of our former friends of the show
who has been on Billy Body does some inside researcher,
he's got a pretty good connection. I don't know if
you've ever heard of him, but up there with the
with the Meltzers and the Mike Johnson's and probably even
better than they are. But he even mentioned that the
Rock seemed like he had a lot of time, or

(22:36):
he should planned out a lot of time because Mahanna
is not released until next year. He's all finished rapping.
But the original plan was supposedly supposed to be him
versus Cody at WrestleMania, Cody wins gets his pen back,
because that was the whole reason that the Rock pin
Cody in the first place at WrestleMania last year is
Rock and knew that eventually Cody would have to get

(22:59):
his back and not to do the job at the PPV,
and he didn't want it, And it just turned out
that in the nicest way, he said, well, why don't
we just make this year all about John Cena. It's
John Cena's retirement, And I'm starting to see that played
out like a little bit more since that's where they're
focusing a lot on him and out of the rock
because he didn't want to jump to the part where

(23:20):
he got He just wanted to jump straight to the
part where he got the belt wanted again at SummerSlam,
and not where he actually did the job.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Brother to Cody Rhodes. Once again, all speculation, but it's
so speculations.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
But it sounds so accurate because we've seen it played
out through It's right. But yeah, that's where that's where
I stand with Cody and Sena. Unfortunately, Uh, they have
done a great job with what they have. And you
know what I'm saying, I'm not taking anything away from

(23:52):
Cody and Sina as workers. I mean, they have done
whatever they have to do. It's just it was projecting
to be something completely different after elimination chamber. And you know,
there might be people that you know, they just sit
back and enjoy every show and and go along with it.

(24:15):
But then there's critical thinkers like like us that we're
like bro Sena being mad at the crowd was not
what we got an elimination chamber. An elimination chamber, we
got Sena sending his soul to the rock. That's where
I expected to go from there. But that's about it.
But like I said, you know, Monday, we're back in

(24:35):
the United States, We're back to eight o'clock. Let's see
what happens.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Yeah, I mean, if anything, bring in Travis Scott, you know,
like why not have like Travis Scott make like a
disc track or something, or have Travis Scott come out
from the crowd while Cody's there and just like if
he's not going to take a bumper, get his come
up and just yet, like have him talk shit to Cody,
like hey, how's your eyeplay boy?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Or I see that your face is here.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
There too many things you could do, man.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Turn that, turn that the whole work into a shoot,
and turned the whole shoot into a work. And then
like I'm that just builds up heat, and that builds
up to what you want to see. And the times
are Seena is not going to be there. Have seen
a go in and cut a promo, have seen a
walk by walk by like the Dusty Road statue or something,

(25:19):
and I don't know, have Seena go They're doing stuff
on Twitter and Sena does his thing where he posts
on Instagram of some billin and like some sort of
cheesy caption that doesn't do it enough.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
For me, And yeah, no it's not.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
I can't nitpick just the fact and you might have
already seen it elsewhere, and I've started to agree with
the narrative. But like once again had elimination chamber. This guy,
these three dudes beat the ever loving hell out of you,
and the next time you finally get a chance to
see him in the building, it's not Travis Scott, the
one that gave you the black guy, it's not the
rock that controlled this guy. It's the main guy that

(25:55):
whooped your ass and is ready to take your belt
at WrestleMania. And Cody comes out doing the babyface thing.
He's smiling, he's doing his whoe, you know, and it
seems that it's like he's doing that, go get your
shit in, and then you turn your your your your
thoughts to that, and it was like you're being a
whiney bitch, like he should have been storming out there.

(26:17):
Screw the the the whoe, screw all this. I'm storming
out there. I'm undoing my tie. And at that point
you have thirty security guards come out there and they're
just trying to hold a back Cody can cut the promo,
You're being.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
A whiney bitch and like that would.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
There's so many people holding him back and like seeing
us trying to get to them, they're holding him back,
and it's just like because Adam Pierce, it's Adam Pierce
on all right.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
Adam Pierce is like, this is a money match. These
guys can't touch each other. We need this at WrestleMania.
Whenever they are in the building, they need to be
escorted by it.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
So that final time where they get that first time
where they get to lay hands on each other. Make
it a week before the WrestleMania something like that. It
just means much more sense. But they're just coming out
and just quiet promo talking battling each other. That heat
has died down a little bit.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
So, oh, this this what I'm about to say. Now,
Wrestling fans are gonna hate me for it, but you know,
I don't all embrace it. You know, there's always a

(27:34):
sibling that and it's usually the youngest one who cannot
curse in front of people. We don't let him curse
and all that, but then one day we give him
permission to say one bad word and we all laugh
and it's cool. But now he thinks it's cool to
do it all the time. Yeah, that's what's happening with

(27:56):
Cody to me. Like in every ever since he told
the rock to go fuck himself, and every promo, he
gotta try to curse whoever he's to curse somebody out
and the crowd go crazy and that, and that's what
shows you that Cody's fan base are really kids because

(28:17):
they find it cool. Oh wow, yeah, Cody curts them out.
That's not that that doesn't necessarily mean that it is
a great promo. It's just like you know, Triple was like, hey, Cody,
you know what you could curse?

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, you pop the kids.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
And then it feels just like that, like whenever Cody
Cody cuts the promo and he curses, it's just feel
like my little cousins, that's not supposed to do it,
and he got permission to do it. So what I'm
trying to say is make it meaningful. Doesn't come at
me when with all calm all seen to stop being

(28:55):
a whiny bitch, it doesn't. It doesn't seem right, you know.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Yeah, you should be ready to kick this guy's ass. Dude,
like he just whooped your ass and embarrassed you. I
I don't know, it's just all a little bit overproduced.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
And we know Cody can do it. I mean, Cody
is an absolute professional.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
He is a great storyteller. He's a good wrestler. So
like it's it's I just thought that he would know
a little bit better. And I mean, who am I.
I'm just a mark. I didn't train for any of
this stuff. I'm not the WWE champion, so there's not
I'm just saying as as a fan, that's something I
could enjoy. So that's gonna be interesting to see how
they do, Like you said, once they come back to
the States, we'll see what kind of resources a pull.

(29:33):
I love to finally see the Rock come down and
explain himself here recently, it doesn't look like the Rock.
It just looked like the Rock just goes out there
without like any script and it's just gonna kind of
tell it along the way. So anymore, I'm not as
hyped about it as I once was, so it will
be Let's once again, let's just see Travis Scott or something.

(29:53):
Let's see somebody bring Mama roades Popper Rhodes back into
it have John Cena's dad involved in what he's a heel.
Now he can go try to hit on Mama Rhodes.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
I don't know, they need to do something, they need
to do something else, And yeah, I mean we need
to We need to give it a little bit of
more time. It's not being as as head on as
it was last year, and I think that's the problem,
Like we got we got to use too quick about

(30:27):
happened last year. I'm guilty of that myself. But hopefully
when they come back to the States, all gay fixed. Now.
Another thing I wanted to talk about changing the conversation
a little bit. The overcomplication that w WWE is having
when it comes to Rhea, EO, Sky and Bianca is nonsensical. Yeah,

(30:53):
I feel like I get it, you need to stretch
the program from the time that EO won the championship
to WrestleMania, But you guys kind of complicated the whole situation,
the whole Now we're at the this past raw having
a match between Rhea and EO and Bianca is the referee.

(31:17):
It didn't even have to go and it's still still
still at this point. The triple threat for Wressemania hasn't
even been set, and it could have been. I think
it could have been as simple and we would have
accepted it as fan as. Remember at MSG, when EO
and Bianca were talking, Riya came out, Rhea slapped the

(31:39):
crap out of Io, and Bianca did it. They both
ignored her. It could have been as simple as the
next Monday night, raw Hea comes out and say, you
know what, you want to disregard me, you want to
disregard me. I see both of you on WrestleMania. That's it.
We would have been like, yes, let's do it. But

(32:00):
all this, all this stuff they do, it is so overcomplicated,
Like why.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Bro, Yeah, the amount of triple threats going into WrestleMania
is and the amount of all this that I don't
mind a good triple threat, but like I mean, when
when it comes to the women's champion like this, like
it's just gonna be probably a spot fest. And I mean, honestly,
if you wanted to fit all three women in the
match that they just had this this past week where
Bianca was about, where Bianca was the h the referee,

(32:28):
that could have been the Mania match, and then Bianca
could have had her claim for or EO could have
been the referee since Bianca won the elimination chamber, and
then like you could have had EO had a claim
to the championship on backlash or they're all right afterwards,
So like there would be that factor where whoever is
a special guest referee, like who they would rather see

(32:49):
in their first match, But like it's overtold over, kind
of convoluted. What's going on.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
It's like, we get it. Any of those matches between
any of those three women at WrestleMania would have been fine.
Io versus Beanca would have been okay. I versus Ria
would have been ok Ria versus Beyonder would have been
a kye. You know, like all of it. Any any
way that you would put one against the other, it

(33:15):
would have been okay with with us and all about
how we're gonna get Ria into WrestleMania. That's what that's
what this is about now, And it makes sense. Ria
is probably one of the biggest or the biggest women's
superstar right now, so she needs to be part of it.
But I feel like at this moment, Bianca would have

(33:38):
made more sense being in the program with Jade and
and Naya than she does at this title. So I
don't know, I don't know where that went. That's my
only that's my only complaint about that. I don't know.
I feel like there's too many triple threads and multiple

(33:59):
people matches going into.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Yeah, there's there's a lot, and it's probably gonna be
that way with the Intercontinental title, the US title. It
seems like, uh, we got Penta, who we talked about
on the last episode. You got any thoughts of him
and bron Breaker that's going to be a a singles
match at WrestleMania or do you think that gets involved
in the gimmick match?

Speaker 3 (34:23):
It should be a singles match.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
I think so too.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
I mean like the intercontinent, the Intercontinent of the title
at WrestleMania, to me is is my favorite thing. I
don't know if you tell you my my the match
the first match that I ever saw that got me,
not that I ever saw, but that got me into
wrestling was Shawn Michaels versus Ras for the Intercontinental title

(34:55):
at WrestleMania. So the Intercontinental title match is always a
match that I forward to when it comes to WrestleMania
because it's usually the Okay, I made it to WrestleMania
as a intercontinental title. My next step is the heavyweight.
What I'm saying, it's like kind of moving up to
the next level pison of the torch. So I don't

(35:16):
want to see a triple thread match, Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I agree, And you got guys, obviously bron Breaker, who's
probably ready to take that next step. You just mentioned
a thing with Paul Hayman possibly down the line, obviously,
because there's been reports that he's been working heavily with
bron Breaker in the back, and you could tell that
bron Breaker really kind of kind.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
Of gets it.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
And Penta, who they're trying to make a big star
right now. They've done a great job of merchandise sales,
even when they present him for his uh for his entrance.
I know a lot of people are mad at that
he's been doing a lot of main events stuff, but
there's nothing wrong with that. Just kind of get him
at working into the WWE system. He's back on Raw, now,
did he They just had a match for the Icy

(35:58):
title with bron.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
Didn't he on one of the dark matches?

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Or I'm just saying on Raw, hasn't he Uh, what's
the what's the latest thing that happened?

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Because I missed Raw between they.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Had a taxing match, yes, and Penta versus the Judgment.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Day Okay, yeah, yeah, you're right. And they looked they
looked relatively good in that too. So he's back on Raw,
he's back on television. Maybe they're just gearing him up
for this IC title run. And that's what I probably think.
It is a smart move.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Go ahead, and I s.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Keeping safe until you give him the title. You know,
see what I'm saying, Penta Penza is not is not
that young for you to have in the ring every
freaking week, know what I'm saying. So it makes sense. Yeah, man,
I think it's about that time, especially if they're gonna
give j the World Heavyweight Championship. To me, it means

(36:53):
the championship is going to the new generation after That's
the way I see it. And if there's anybody from
the generation I need to hold it first, it would
have to be bron Breaker.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Sure, that'd be a fun claim, and I think that's
probably where we're gonna go to. I think I'm gonna
have to agree with you on that. I guess we
finished the last show with it, and we'll finish this
show with it. Since you just mentioned the Jay Guther match,
it's gotten a little bit more personal now since this
past week.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
It was a bloody beat down on.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Jimmy USSO and Jay was kind of he's kind of
he was handcuffed to the ropes, sort of like the
situation where it was Hell and a cell right the
e quip match with Jimmy or with Jay and Roman
and then he just he takes him out right in
front of him. But that was that was really fun.

(37:42):
I thought this was really well executed as well. What
does this do in your opinion for that build up?

Speaker 3 (37:48):
So you remember in the last conversation I have, I
told you everybody is behind Jay because they want Jay
to have that happy moment. But it's gonna be up
to Gunter. Gunther is the responsible, the person that's responsible
for making this made sense and giving it like a

(38:12):
the drama to it, And this Monday Gunther did just that.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
I was saying, yes, you know, we gotta give Jimmy
a lot of credit for it, but the taking of
the blood, putting it in his face and being a
complete animal and being able to being able to sell
I'm a I'm a beast. Gunther did amazing. You understand

(38:39):
what I'm saying, And he goes back to what I
have always said about Jay and Jimmy. Jimmy has always
played my brother's keeper. Jimmy is whether he's on, whether
he's a babyface or heel, and there's a j storyline.
Jimmy is always the main factor as to why the

(39:00):
Jay character of Wolves, and we've seen it happen here. Also,
Big shout out to Big Jim for being the superstar
with the most matches in twenty twenty five twenty six matches.
Wow matches. Bro, Big Jim is the real WWE workhorse.
He goes to.

Speaker 4 (39:19):
Work, Bro.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
I hope that, I mean we can I say, I
hope they give him a singles titles, I mean a
single run because he's getting that, he's getting that push.
Now we need to seal it with a good US title.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
Yes, and that's gonna be interesting once again when we
go into the US title. That's gonna be against l A. Knight,
because I can't see him beating l A. Knight, But
that one's probably gonna be like your ladder.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Man, you gotta keep in mind Jimmy just beat Drew McIntire.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
So if he could beat Drew McIntire, he could definitely
beat l A.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
Knight, of course.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
I mean that's one I mean, but I mean they
just they just gave that title back to l A
Night or were they doing that just to put Jimmy over,
which which isn't bad, but that I'm a fellow l
A Night lover. So I'm just always thinking what after this,
because I would love for him to stay satisfied and
stay with the company because he's he's great, he's fantastic.
He's probably my top five right now.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
I love l A.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Knight, but I don't know, be interesting to see what
they do with him and as opposed to Gunther what
you're just talking about, and like with the blood rubbing
all over his face and that shot of you know,
Jay reaching for his brother while he's getting choked out
and he's getting his ass whole, very very cool, just
because that's fresh in this rivalry. We've already seen Gunther

(40:42):
come out through the crowd like he's jay Us. We've
already seen jay U so come make the save when
he's beaten on Otis and the art they've We've already
seen this way even before this, leading up the Saturday
Night's main event, leading up to a raw match that
they had when Gunther was the IC title holder.

Speaker 4 (41:00):
Like we've already seen this.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
This was a good way of switching it up, and
what a turnaround for the USOS and the last year
with last year basically being them against each other. Also
their dissension away from the blood Line. Now that's two
years removed and there's no bloodline with them involved, so
good for them being in something that's not bloodline or

(41:23):
I know a lot of people are really getting tired
of everything meaning something about the blood Line, but I
mean I loved everything about it. I hope that, you know,
they eventually bring something.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
Like that back.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
But I always thought that was the great thing about
the blood Line. It's never truly going to end. They
can always.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
Get back to it at some point, but it is
like relying on that this year.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
It's always there for them to pick up. Yeah, know
what I'm saying. Another thing that you got to give
to the USOS and give them props on the way
they have been able to handle, both from both of
them and also the writers and w W E is
that now you talk about Jimmy USSO or j Usso,

(42:07):
you don't talk about d usos. You're able to talk
to to talk about them as separate, separate characters, and
that's that's amazing. Not many tag teams, especially as great
of attack them as they were or or accomplished. You
could say, you know, that's Jay, that's Jimmy. They got

(42:29):
their own stuff going. I think the only two people
that we could say that about was Jeff and Matt,
you know what I mean. Some people will say Christian
and Edge, but by that time they were already in
different So it's great that that they have been able
to come up has been amazing. Again, what I will

(42:51):
the things I tell you about my brother skeeper and
how it's always Jimmy that finds a way to elevate
j even with the yeat. The person that really started
to yat was Jimmy yep, you know, years ago, and
you know Jay took it to another level, and that's great.

(43:13):
I just I just want to see Jimmy get his
dudes at some point because to me, out of both
of them, Jimmy is is better both ing ring and
on the microphone.

Speaker 4 (43:29):
That's interesting take.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
I would, I wouldn't disagree with it, you know, just
because look, I think they're both entertaining and they're they're
they both do very well for each other, and they
both obviously pro wrestling runs in there in their veins,
so they.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
Both get it. They're both very good. Uh they they
they draw.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
The casual fans both in my opinion, So like that's
they're really really fun and yeah, I agree. I'm glad
that that they're kind of getting to shine now everybody
doesn't get the ussos mixed up and more.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
You have one that's super over with the crowd.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Everyone loves his entrance and everyone loves Jimmy's antics. Anyone
he's on the anytime he's on the screen, it's what's
Big jim gonna do?

Speaker 4 (44:11):
Now he's made Big Jim a thing.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
Yeah, it's like you expected to see, Like it's just
what it is. One comes out got super over. You
got to hear his song get repeated five times before
he could actually say something on the mike, and the
other one is like you don't know what to expect,
and that's the thing.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
Yeah, yeah, no, I agree, So it's it's it's it's
been fun. Got anything else to talk about as there
leading up to WrestleMania. We're gonna have some special WWE
guest on in the next upcoming weeks. Uh, next time
we have you one, we're supposed to be talking to
ww Superstar Women SmackDown Champion Tiffany Stratton. She's gonna join
the show, make it her second appearance, so she's gonna

(44:52):
be an official friend.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
Of the show. So we're looking forward to that.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
Anything anything that you got going on right now, buddy,
not much.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Only one thing. Let me plug this in real quick.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Oh this is serious. Oh that's sweet. Social Media Championship.
So for all of our audio viewers out there is
a really nice belt.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Our guy was holding.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Up my boys, RUDA Entertainment tannelizing. Tony's doing, uh, our
doing a little competition on social media to crown a
social media champion. If you are a wrestling content creator,
all you have to do is make a video where
you cut a promo letting us know why you're the

(45:43):
social media champion and the person that get the most
boat get this here, o social Media Championship belt.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
That's beautiful right there. I would love to hold that.
Is that pretty heavy?

Speaker 3 (45:58):
Yes, sir? It is.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
That's authentic right there, Dude, I love wrestling belts.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
So this this is made from the Evolve Okay, like
if you look at it, you put the ball, think
about the Bolve logo, the one yeah that Austin they carry.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
Yeah, that's pretty sweet. Yeah, it's nice. So tell them
what they gotta do again.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
All they gotta do is called a promo and instagrams.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
The easiest thing that you could do. You just literally
put the phone to your face. Cast somebody a jackass.
Whatever you have to do, just be entertaining in that
pretty championship.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Let us go. Let us know why you should be
the social media champion. Tag kind of license, Tony Rude
of entertainment, and the baby Faces pot and we're going
to beat the judges.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
Looking forward to seeing all your promos out there. Guys,
are looking forward to you downloading this episode. It's the
Babyfaces Podcast joined by our friend Vigilante Talks.

Speaker 4 (46:59):
We'll be seeing you again soon. You have a good one.
