Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the WUZLX plant business studios. It spans the globe
like a super highway.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Interesting it is called that download with Danielle.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I never know what you're gonna hear America, will hear
my two cents on Boston's Classic Rock one hundred point
seven w ZLX.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Well, you know, I hate you to have to keep
reporting this stuff, But Delta flight found for Atlanta engine
caught fire yesterday in Orlando.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Good Times flight twelve.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Thirteen, two hundred and eighty two passengers on board, twelve
crew members all were able to evacuate safely via emergency slides.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
But there's a ton of.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Video and social media of people sliding out the plane.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Which we were talking about. Everybody wants to do the slide,
but not in like a scary situation, but it just
looks fun.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
You know how they have.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Those pop up art installations or those interactive exhibits from
time to time, like in the back bay or other places.
They should have something like that where you can slide
down the emergency slide. But maybe we get something going
at like Norwood Airport or something.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I just have this visual of Tyler coming down the
slide from the plane looking like that cop at City
Hall Plaza that came.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Down when all the guy came barrel ass and rolled
like six times, that would be me, all of his
edibles spilling out of his luggage behind him. Leave the bags,
Leave the bags.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
THEFA is investigating that incident. Delta did arrange or replacement
aircraft for those.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Passengers over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
We have talked to yesterday about how a four year
old boy was swept away after falling into the Merrimack
River and Lowell. The child's father is looking for public
assistance and locating his son, who was last seen wearing
black pants, blue and white.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Sneakers, and a red Fuchius shirt.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Yesterday's search was focused in the Lawrence area, and authorities
say the boy was quickly pulled into the river's current.
His father says, even if at this point they can
just recover the child, that would be very helpful for
the family. On Sunday, Ronald learnerd sixty two years old
of Lowell, Massachusetts, was arrested after driving northbound in the
southbound lanes on ninety three and Franconia, New Hampshire. He

(01:58):
faces multiple charges, including a third offense DWY and reckless conduct.
He was held on a preventive detention in his scheduled
for arraignment in a Littleton District court. And this morning
some breaking news. A woman found dead in an Alston
apartment last night. A man who was seen fleeing the
scene was later arrested by Boston Police. Authority's investigating the
incident as a homicide. Boston Police Deputy Superintendent Paul McLoughlin

(02:22):
told reporters a nine on one call came in about
seven forty eight pm last night that was likely a
domestic incident. At least one weapon has been recovered. There
were some rumors floating around on Twitter last night that
they were looking for a guy with a machete.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
It looks like he didn't have a machete. Yeah, that's
good news.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
You shared some of the texts with us last night there, Yeah,
like there's a guy.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
With a machete running at chete bolo.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
But yeah, turns out that was not How do you
mistake a machete, Well, it's it's probably the same way
in which people mistake got it fireworks for gunshots, because
they've never actually a lot of people maybe have never
seen a machete, so they a cover of darkness.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
You don't know, you don't know who's running around. Yes,
I'm Danielle.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
That's your con seconds of sports with Tyler. All right,
let's get going with the one hundred and twenty ninth
running of the Boston Marathon. With the third best time
in the history of the race, John Career of Kenya
won the men's division with a time of two hours,
four minutes and forty five seconds, and right when he
crossed the finish line, he was hugging a dude. That

(03:20):
dude was his brother Wesley, who happened to win the marathon.
I didn't mean it like he was hugging at dude.
I thought was weird, Like you've run the marathon, so
you know when you're done, Like you're just a physical mess. Yes,
you're like this guy started hugging his brother immediately upon
crossing the like no, like, can I have some water,

(03:41):
Like take a deep breath, like you know, bend over
and goes like wich is immediately hugging.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Right after running after running like five minute mile.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Is that what that does?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
You get to do things. Yeah, yeah, that's not me.
I would have just collapsed and died. Hugged Tyler, I pray, yeah,
that would be a good idea right now. Sharon Loketty,
also of Kenya. She edged out two time reigning champion
Helen o'beri to win the women's division, smashed the course
record in the process with a time of two hours,
seventeen minutes and twenty two seconds. Emma Bates, by the way,
we keep claiming her as our own from Medford, Ye

(04:11):
not grow up here. I don't think what's the mead
for connection? I don't know. She thinks she just lived
here for a while and we keep saying that she's ours.
But she finished thirteenth, so great job to her. The
Socks won the annual Patriots Day game four to two
over the White Sox.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
They take that series three games to four.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Big A big day for Walker Bueller when seven innings
gave up one and run fan nine. Rob Refsnyder got
the Socks on the board in the second with one
of these bad boys, oh too, swinging a drive that
one hammered the left way back quickly in the monster seats.
Rab ref Snyder had a Red Sox on a scoreboard

(04:46):
that got out fast.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
I want to do a home run call sometime that
must be so much fun. You're sitting there at the
game so slow. Yeah, top of the third inning count
is two and two.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Oh, there's some fans down there enjoying the Oh, there
it goes.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
It's like that back back back.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I always wondered, like when that happens, because that was
one of those moments where it was completely quiet and
dead and then all of a sudden, it's like somebody
electrocuted his chair.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, he just jumps up and you hear the crowds.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Good stuff. Socks wrap up this homestand tonight with the
beginning of a three game set against the Mariners.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
First, Patrick Fenway is at six forty five.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Tomorrow night, A garden is the place to be for
Game two of the Celtics Magic Opening Round Series. Tip
off is at seven pm. And finally, in sports, did
you ever think you would include baseball and the Pope? Interesting?
Here we go. A baseball autographed by the late Pope
Francis is being auctioned off to the highest bidder in
the wake of his death, and it could end up

(05:40):
selling for over five figures. He signed a baseball, scribbling
the word Francisco in very small letters in a black
felt tip pen on a Rollings MLB ball. This guy,
Randy L. Kaplan, works for government affairs in New York,
got the ball signed after working with the Vatican.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Apparently he's been doing this since nineteen ninety six.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
He's got over four hundred and five fifty signed balls
from world leaders and heads of state, including Bill Clinton.
This one's set to go for, like I said, over
five figures. They have estimated what they think it's gonna
go for. Chuck, take a guess for a pope ball,
for a pope signed Major League Baseball over Pope, I'll
say just recently dead Pope fifty.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Danielle I'll say twenty.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
And the winner of the lowest bid, if this was
the price is right, goes to Danielle one dollar. Actually, no,
you both went over. I'm sorry, fifteen fifteen with you.
I think it's gonna go for way more than fifteen
right now, Yes, right now.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I mean it's a little they do it right now.
It's like real estate.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
They're gonna just trying to initiate a bidding war by
enterprising it.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
It would have been better if he played the hot
corner in the Vatican League, you know, playing third base
the actual player, and he had the red velvet cleats,
he had like the stolen base record for the Vatican.
I heard he was a dirt dog back in the day.
I'm Tyler. That's sports and this is the Chuck Nolan
Morning Show six seven, nine, three, one, one hundred point seven.

(07:00):
You could be the star. At seven thirty we got
am iv a hole coming up. Tell us your story
coming up from CLX Boston's Classic Rock one or the
points out at w CX Chuck Nola Morning Show with
Danielle and Tyler and Shannon Sharp. Never been a big
fan of Shannon Sharp.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
He's always really critical the Patriots and yeah, always taking shots.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Not my favorite reporter. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
No, Shannon Sharper is attorney for re leased the name
of his the ex girlfriend who's accusing him of rape
in this Nevada lawsuit.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
And the texts are are pretty.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot to unpack.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Yeah, does it make you question texts that you've sent
to significant others or potentials. No, because I've never sent
texts like this, well not to your.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Wife, see I send text like this, but.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah, we're single ones.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
I don't know that i'd be. It's a weird thing
with it.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
This story has so much going on to it with
the accusations, and then releasing these is kind of like, well,
look what I'm dealing with, right, so we can't really talk.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
About No, I'm trying to dance around this. It's very
difficult toogy.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Do you want to? I think of all people, uh,
Tyler should read these texts. Well, there's a few here.
This is from the girl by the way, So the
accusation is that it was consensual, and she says it's not. Okay,
Well you be the judge here. The first one I'm
reading says, call me, I feel like blanking with you.

(08:35):
That's pretty cooking, cooking, cooking, it could be anything, screaming.
That's the mild one. Make sure you bring the marjarine over.
That's the mild one.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
It's a hard, healthy band.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
This next one says, I want you to put a
dog collar around my neck and choke me with it
while you're blanking me. Cooking with me.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Could be anything. Oh, that's a different kind of grooming.
I shouldn't introduce that in a sexual case. This next one,
are you going for the next one? I'm going for
the next one. Are you going there?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah, because it's not a bad word. I just never
heard this term before, have you. No, I'm guessing you
have it all right, she wrote, only if you put
that baby gravy in me? Cool?

Speaker 3 (09:22):
I don't, baby, I'm a little nervous that you just
described that the way you did.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yeah, we might be getting a violation in about two years.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Is this another one? I've never heard that term before.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
You've never heard baby gravy?

Speaker 1 (09:33):
The next one. No, I've never heard that. I've never
heard baby.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Am I just an eleven year old boy? Yes, okay, I'm.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Not participating in this. Yeah, I am a spectator right now,
I believe he said before we started talking, was I'm
hanging you out to dry Tyler.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Right now, I'm having an out of body experience. I'm
up in the corner of the room. Can you see
me up there voting around. I'm not even gonna attempt
read the last one. There's no way I can get
around that one.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
You would be horrified if you saw my text, Chuck.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Show me so them. I don't know, so you do this?
This is you? This hard?

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Oh? I go harder. I'm a spicy text.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Yes, if not with like you know, not I'm not
sprinkling them across the general population. But if I'm talking
to a guy who I trust, like a lot of times,
we'll flip to the WhatsApp and do the disappearing messages
because I don't need screenshots coming out later.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
But I'm a very spicy.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Texter, spicy fellas.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
It's like ghost pepper.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Add that to the list of reasons to date Danielle
mar So. This lawsuit, according to Shannon's attorney, this lawsuit
filed by Jane Doe and orchestrated by your attorneys, a blatant,
cynical attempt to shake down mister Sharp for millions of dollars.
It's filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and it will not succeed.
So as evidence, they presented these texts that she sent

(10:46):
to him.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
This is the this is tough territory, Like, I don't
know a ton of backstory on this case, but this
is this is where you get into this big gray
area because even though someone is sending you texts like this,
if they're not consenting to a sexual act, this is like,
this is this is essentially victim blaming, saying, well, what
were you wearing when.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
You were sexually assaulted? Are you asking for it? You know,
it's like the same thing with the message spicy text.
It could just be spicy text, yes.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Although there is one text that says twenty five K
for each cheek?

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Yes, how much for the panties? The financial statement made
there so claiming?

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Are you claiming that on your taxes? Or is it
considered a gift? What's the irs? We're going to take
a quick break here and we're going to go through
some of your texts. Okay, all right, one.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Seven WSX and over the hills and far away on
the free iHeartRadio app six what seven ninety three one
hundred point seven, give us a call. We got the
People's Court coming up here. Am I the a hole?

Speaker 1 (11:47):
We are the judges. A scenario that you may have
been involved in. People still buzzing about Tyler kicking the
guy mule kicking the guy with a grocery car behind him.
I didn't kick him. I kicked the cart. Let's get
it right, all right? All right? Also, you did not
kick the poor kid who was bringing in six hundred
carts from the parking lot. It was there's a lot
of confusion about that. It was a customer who was
treating me wrong. Right, And then the question was for

(12:09):
kicking the cart? Am I D A hole? That was
a hard one to judge, wasn't It was just because
of his personality, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
So we want to know so many times you can
deal with getting the getting the metal bar of the Achilles.
You know that was pissing me off the rocks, right, no,
thank you.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
So now we want to know that's right. So give
us your scenario six one seven one hundred point seven?
Am I the A hole? Coming up? ZLS one seven
w z LX Right here on the Chuck Nolan Morning Show,
everybody we answer the ah old question, am I D

(12:47):
A hole? Say? For seven ninety three one one hundred
point seven. It's people's court where we decide are you
the a hole or were you in it?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Allegedly?

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Allegedly? I should say, Danielle, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
We have a text from a listener who has a
little bit of a concern about something that happened during
Easter services.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Easter services, okay, okay, flashbacks, Yes, I heard.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
This from the text machine.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
We were attending church on Sunday and during the sermon
my daughter handed her phone to my four year old
grandson so he could watch Paw Patrol. I heard Tyler
mention that earlier, so it reminded me of what happened.
She had the volume up with no headphones for him.
It was loud enough for several people around us to
turn around and look. I leaned over and quietly told
her it was inappropriate and disrespectful, especially during such a

(13:43):
solemn part of the service. She got defensive and said
she was just trying to keep him entertained and quiet.
And I get that little kids have short attention spans,
but I feel like there are better ways to teach
them respect and sacred spaces. Now she's mad at me
and says I embarrassed her in public? Am I the aple?

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Wow? Well, it's church as well. Know, sound echoes abundantly.
It's yes, in those hallowed, hollowed halls Paw Patrol. My
kids used to watch Paw Patrol. It is loud, it
is obnoxious, it is something as apparent. You have to
leave the room.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Is it worse than Cayu?

Speaker 1 (14:19):
No, nothing's worse than Cayu. So I get the spirit
of what she was doing, but she did it wrong.
You can't just have it for everybody to hear. No, No,
not in that setting. I mean right in the middle
of the pissalms. Yes, turn it down a little bit,
tone it down.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
I mean the Father is up there talking about how
to make life and you know, the resurrection and.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
All the things and spring and life coming to new
and then.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
I have a question about this. Yes, as the former
altar boy in the room who is no longer a
practicing Catholic. So I don't go to church like I
used to. But I remember the baby screaming rooms they
used to have to take people, take kids away, and
every thing.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
I always wondered when I was in church.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
I know you want to take your kids to church.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
You're religious, you want to bring them up with that.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
I get it, But do you think maybe just leave
them alone, like leave them at home like a baby
three year old?

Speaker 4 (15:14):
What you do is you just pour a bunch of
cereal in a box to leave the toilet seed up
so they can drink.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
What people can barely get babysitters when they actually want
to go out and have like a night out.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
That's why I'm asking church, That's why I'm asking, like,
do you just leave them, like, get a babysitter. Well,
somebody just texted from the five away saying, no, the
daughter is a piece of s Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah strong, So that's that's aggressive decision.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
When our kids were really, really young, at church, they
would have the kids room where it's a certain point
of the service, they would say, all right, now it's
time for the young ones to go off and play
in the room while we finished the the service. We
know what happened my kids to this day. Do not
forgive us for that, because they were like standing there
at the guard rail staring waiting for us to exactly

(15:59):
come backpletely upset. Or they didn't like the guardroom. No,
it was not a fun room for them, Toys all
over the place. Why wouldn't they like I would love
that if I was a kid, because they want to
hang out with the cool dad. Oh that.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
That's my take you that I'll let you have it
all right.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
I don't know. I say leave the get a babysit,
leave the kids at home to a church. Wait till
they were a certain age before they can go.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Yeah, but even that, I think we're in this different
age now with the phones and everything in the entrant
you have this like really distinctive dividing line with parents,
some of whom are super hyper aware of that, and
some of them are like, you know.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
What, I don't care anymore.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Just this is going to keep them quiet, because it's
going to be nine thousand times worse if the kid
doesn't have.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Paw patrol to watch.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, well, I have a parenting question then for you, Chuck,
since you just mentioned this is the digital age. Now
where's got phones and you kids got their own little
laptops and on them. When we were kids growing up
going to church that you had none of that. No,
so you either shut up yep and paid attention or
like my father, if I messed up in church, he
would have bounced me off every wall in the church.
Backhand is issue. You can't be doing that no to

(17:05):
beat them a little bit. I agree you should not
use electronic entertainment to keep them quiet. Yeah, like don't
you just she should have just left the service and
gone outside or something. I think God, it would have
been okay with that. Yes, I think you would have
been The pope would have been okay with that too.
What do you guys think? Six one seven nine three
one one hundred point seven. You can text w ZX
and your message to seven oh four seven oh or

(17:26):
hit the talk back button free iHeartRadio app makes the
election emby one pre said, hit that little red microphone.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Tell us who is the A hole?

Speaker 1 (17:34):
At c LX Boston's Classic Rock one hundred point seventu
WZLX Chuck Nola Morning Show with Danielle and Tyler, heaven
beside you a perfect place to go back to church
here once again?

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Did you have Tyler sloth it in on purpose? He
said no. You said he wasn't allowed to talk about
unless it was a heavenly song.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Correct, Right there you go? All right, it worked? Am
I the a hole?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
We're going back to Easter services where family goes to
the to the church and the kids acting up.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Was it the gram mother who took out the electronic device?

Speaker 1 (18:02):
No, it's the daughter. It was the daughter to keep
the key, to get quiet and puts on paw patrol. Yes,
and for everybody to enjoy every service. And so is
she the a hole? And what is the story here?
We're getting some talkbacks on it.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
You're right, she did do it wrong. She should have
actually put headphones on the kid or taking them out
of the room. There's there's quiet rooms in some churches
that you can go in. Uh, so they can be
respectful or try to learn it. But I agree, thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I think he's right about the headphones. Yeah, I didn't
even think of that when you were telling the story.
I was like, Yeah, where's the where's the probably.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Didn't have them with them. I know what times have
you left the house as a parent and you're like, oh,
we didn't bring X, y Z things.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yeah, but also as a parent, you could have your
entire emergency kit ready to go. What are we forgetting here?
You know, if they act up, they're gonna want to
watch paw patrol. But we can't let everybody hear this thing.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
If they weren't charged up, you know, you never know.
We have you people check out on the text line
if you want to hear from them.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
By the way, if you'd like to text us seven
oh four to seven oh, just send w ZLX and
your text message to that short code and you won't
be able to communicate with us. We love to hear
from you. Six one seven Texter. It's a church, not

Speaker 1 (19:16):
True.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Dave from Randolph. Hey, guys, love the new show.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
There's a difference between keeping a kid quiet and broadcasting
Nickelodeon into the whole congregation. Five aweight textor if God
wanted to hear Paw Patrol, he'd stream it himself.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
That's a good one, that makes total sense.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah uh four a one text big holier than thou
energy coming from someone who probably forwarded chain emails about
a blessing.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
The shame email.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yes, finally, this is from Patty and Woburn.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Jesus wept, and so did half the congregation when they
heard no job.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Is too big, no pump is too small.

Your chance to take over the radio station. Fill us

it's gonna be nice later. You say it's clearing up.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
It doesn't look like it right now, but we got
a beautiful spring day ahead of us and for the
rest of the week. I love Tyler on weather. You
know it's not I'm like a regular weather man. I'm
usually wrong. We also have.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Wow calling out the mediorologyane.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
