Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the WZLX Planet Business Studios. It spans the globe
like a super highway.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Interesting it is called that download with Danielle.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I never know what you're gonna hear America will hear
my two cents on Boston's Classic Rock one hundred point
seven w ZLX Well.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I try to keep you guys as calm as possible
when it comes to aviation related incidents, but they do
happen inevitably, so I do feel compelled to report on them.
Yesterday in Orlando, Florida, Delta flight twelve thirteen and Airbus
A three thirty, headed for Atlanta was experiencing an engine
fire while taxiing. Thankfully, all two hundred and eighty two
passengers twelve crew members were able to evacuate safety safely

(00:43):
via emergency slides. Loved all the videos showing up on
social media from the people in the airport capturing this.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I can't imagine being a flight attendant in that situation.
You trained, you know what to do. What you've told
everybody in this situation, just leave, please, You not try
to get your bag out of.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
The overhead compartment. How many people actually do that?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Nobody's leaving their stuff right, They're like, no, it's fine,
it's just a small bag.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
I can't leave. I can't possibly leave.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
It's a sign of a steamer trunk that they took
like ten minutes trying to stuff in there.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah, there's that's not actually a carry on sized bags
or how dare you? There was also an incident, I
want to say yesterday or Sunday at the Melbourne Airport
in Florida, where a plane had kind of run out
of runway and the wheels got caught up from the ground.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Surely you can't be serious. I'm sis, don't call me sure.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
On Sunday, Ronald Learned, sixty two years old, of Lowell, Massachusetts,
was arrested after driving northbound in the southbound lanes of
I ninety three and Frank Coni in New Hampshire. You
can't do that, just in case you were curious.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I get the feeling. I get the feeling.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
That happens a lot though. You hear these stories all
the time. And what do you do at night? All
of a sudden you have headlines, headlights coming right at you. Yeah,
and you don't know what you're going, like seventy right, yeah,
do you go left? You go right you panicot, Yeah,
it happened to Pelosi, had it?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Where were you? I was on Route one in Saugust.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Someone took a left out of the Kellys parking lot,
oh nomber the southbound side of the highway instead of
going across the highway, merging onto the northbound side, and
they came right down the high speed breakdown lane, passing
me as I was going on the southbound side.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So did you, bob or did you weave? Well? I
saw the headlights and I saw everybody ditching to the right,
and I'm.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Going, what's going on? And why are there headlights? Wait
a minute? And it was over the just that quick.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Geez.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Happened to my friend Melissa's daughter. She was driving on
ninety five. I want to say, through like the Lynnfield
stretch right in that area.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
It was.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
It was like nine o'clock on a Sunday morning or
a Monday morning. Some ridiculous timing woman coming the opposite
light hammered, just hammered.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I saw the dash can video. I don't know how
she didn't kill anybody. Who's an absolute miracle anyway, don't
do that. This is this guy's third offense. DWI and
he's also being charged with reckless conduct, so knock that off. Overnight,
four people hospitalized after a shooting occurred around midnight on
Regis Road in Mattapan. Boston Police or act to investigating
that incident. Opening statements coming in the Karen Reid trial

(03:04):
scheduled for today. If you're heading to Denham for any reason,
give yourself a little extra time because.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Of the rain.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
And you know that eighteen total jurors were selected after
three weeks. Twelve of those will be selected to deliberate
after closing arguments, with six serving as alternates. Karen will
have a team of five attorneys representing her at the
prosecution this time will be led by Hank Brennan, who
was part of Whitey Bulger's defense team in twenty thirteen
and speaking of debt him, A thirty two year old

(03:29):
man by the name of Jun Jung Lee was sentenced
to one year in prison for his role as the
booker in a high end brothel network operating in Massachusetts
and Virginia. Pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy and money laundering.
He's facing deportation after he serves as sentence. That brothel
network garnered about five point six million dollars catered to

(03:49):
thousands of clients, including politicians.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
So there's a lot of clients we are never going
to hear their names because they are powerful, they are rich,
and they have ways of keeping their name.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
That is correct. Yeah, gotting any names from the Epstein phone.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Probably never will. I am Daniell and that is your download.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, one point seven seconds of sports with Tyler.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
All right, let's kick it off with that foot race
they had yesterday. It was the one hundred and twenty
ninth running of the Boston Marathon, with the third best
time in the history of the race going to John
Career of Kenya. He won the men's division with a
time of two hours, four minutes and forty five seconds.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
And there's a family connection here.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
His brother Wesley, who won the marathon back in twenty twelve,
was waiting for him at the finish line and when
he crossed the embraced in a loving family.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Probably beautiful, beautiful moment.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Let me ask you, guys something, if you run the marathon,
is it a hard oh move to show up at
work today wearing your metal Because people know people do that,
they'll wear it like the next ti.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
It's a hard.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Oh move, But you're you're allowed because you've.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Gone through the pain of it, the agony of it,
the training, yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Everything this it's taking the day off after the marathon
me well, I mean yeah, anybody don't seek.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
The day off when you ran? Did you take the
day off?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
These I has never given the day off. I ask
for it like I am in such pain. I am
in agony. I'm not gonna say anything funny. I will
not be fun to be around anything like it.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
That's it.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Although it's the second day that's worth I would wear
that that would wear that metal every day for the
rest of my life.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I clock, oh, absolutely.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
I still have the gold medal I won from the
Warwick American Little League back in like the eighties, the
Glory days, the Glory Days. Sharon lo Ketty, also of Kenya,
edged out two time reigning champion Helen Obery to win
the women's division, smashing the course record in the process
with a time of two hours, seventeen minutes and twenty
two seconds. The Socks played the annual Patriots Day Game yesterday, beat.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
The White Sox four to two. Took three out of
four in that series.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Walker Bula was the big Hero went seven innings, gave
up one and run and struck out nine. My boy
Rob Refsnyder got the game, got the socks on board
in this inning with a little blast RONI to swinging
a drive that one hammered the left way back quickly
in the monster seats.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Rah rough Snyder.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Ad a red socks on the scoreboard that got out
fast Socks. Wrapped up this home stand with three against
the Mariners. Starting tonight, first pitch at Fenway is six
forty five. Now, finally, this is the eighth day of
the truck Going Morning Show and probably the first, last
and only time I'll ever talk about the Los Angeles Clippers.
All Right, you're ready there. They're in the NBA playoffs.

(06:33):
They've never won an NBA championship. They reached the Western
Conference finals one time, only just a few years ago
in twenty twenty one. They've never even advanced to the
NBA finals. The fans of the Clippers are chirping right now.
They're saying that they are actual contenders to win the
whole thing. Charles Barkley, on the other hand, totally disagrees

(06:53):
and had this to say, anti quote, I've been poor.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I've been rich.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
I've been skinny, I've been fat, and the Clippers have
always sucked.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Boston's Classic Rock one hundred point seven w C LIKEX
Chuck Nolan The Morning Show with Daniel Murr and Tyler.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
We were talking about this a little bit earlier. George
Clooney is a hero of mine.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Not because of his film work, which he makes some
good movies that I enjoy that, but he's a hero
of mine because he made a tequila that Cosamigo's Tequila,
which he sold for I.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Don't know, like a billion was it a billion billion dollars?
A billion dollars bill.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Where he lives Lake Como in Italy, which is insanely
beautiful for me, has this crazy house. His neighbor is
Cindy Crawford, and he came up with this tequila recipe
with her husband because they wanted to come up with
a tequila you could drink a lot and not have
a hangover the next day, and by god, they did it.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
How's that working out for you? It's working out. I
enjoy the product. And if they would like an endorsement
of the Chuck no The Morning Morning Show, this would
be great. Three of us are costing egos fans.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
Yeah, that's g's got a nice ring to it. I
did Chuck Nolan Morning Show, brought to you by Tequila.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
We set up the bar, the Globe Bar like James
Bond in the corner, and every Friday we bust into it.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
I finish drinking. Yeah, this could be my way back
into drinking.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
So George Clooney made a shocking declaration about his marriage
being easy. Uh huh Yeah, like there are no problems
at all.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
What's he talking about?

Speaker 5 (13:33):
So, I'm fascinating.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
He was on with Gail King talking about his career,
his marriage, all kinds of stuff's professional projects.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
And he says that he and a Maal have never fought.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
And initially I was like this as bs, but then
I thought about it a little bit more. You look
at surveys, you talk to people in your life, what's
the number one thing that most.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Couples fight about?

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Money? Exactly, And that's essentially a non issue for these two. God,
that's so true.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
After that, it's sex and kids. Now they've got the
two kids that were born in twenty seventeen. They keep
them mostly out of the public eye. I don't know
what their sex life is like, but the money thing,
I feel like, is a really big issue for most couples.
So you remove that factor, and I think, you know,
him waiting to get married until later. She's a super
accomplished individual. That's her own, carved out person, you know.

(14:20):
It's not like one of those typical, you know, relationships
you find in Hollywood where somebody marries them for the
money or the fame or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
I think maybe they just have a mature relationship.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
All right, all right, that's that's all well and good.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
All right, But missus Nolan and I have been together
now in twenty something, twenty seven years, right, we fight,
We fight about what so many different things? How much
time I cannot pinpoint it. Sometimes she says.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
I try to make jokes sometimes and she says, I
go too far feeling.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
That's age of hers. But when we fight, we will fight.
But then we don't want to be mad at each
other for a long period of time, so we make up.
We talk it out, and we make up, and we
make up in other ways as well. Although for the
past seven days, every day when I get home, she's
questioning what I'm saying, especially when I talk about her

(15:20):
on Oh no oh, So it's gotten a little prickly.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Okay, that's why.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
I never have talked about relationships on the air, Is
that right?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
I have one X from twenty years ago that anytime
I talk about a story, even if it's not a
real story, I'll get a text and he's like, oh,
and I'm like, but first of all, the fact that
you think it's about you is so telling. Second of all, it's.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
A freak story.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
I'm getting that a lot right now. When I was
on in the afternoon for many years.

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Nothing nothing, You didn't go deep, deep into the Chuck
Nolan personal life.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Well, I would talk about her driving the Christmas tree
into the garage, you know, stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Doesn't want to probe you with questions like for follow
up on the story?

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Right, I have a question as the single guy in
the room and you've been married a long time. If
you get into a fight with your wife, are you thinking,
I can't wait this is done so we can have sex. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he's nodding his head. Ladies and gentlemen, Yes, do.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
You refuse to go to bed mad?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Because that's always something that I've been in some volatile
relationships in the past, and now I'm not. I will
not fight if I date somebody now and there's any
kind of raised voice, like, let's have a mature discussion.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
If you fight with me.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
I'm not. I don't have time for that. However, fighting policy,
no fighting policy. Won't you like, let's have an honest, open,
mature discussion. We may not like what comes out, but
I'm not fighting.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
With you over it. No yelling.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
No, I'm too.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Tired for that.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Like if we fight, don with that, we will yell,
and we just you get it all out without going
too far.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
You can't go too far, say things you're not going
to bring back exactly. I remember when you said this
on April seventeen, to right and then your mother don't
know the mother road. No no, no, no, no, no
no no, go to bed mad. No, I don't like
that because it carries over to the next day. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yeah, and you never know, doctor Chuck. Yes, Or getting
on a plane because I mean the never know.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
What's going top, that's brutal.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yeah, getting on a plane with kids, kids, it's just
absolute close.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
I love you, but I don't have to like you
right now.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
It's right. It's a Gable Marte Morning show on.

Speaker 2 (17:27):

Did I laugh too loud? And I ask I'm reading

(17:56):

the scenes story of good Fellas.
