Speaker 1 (06:36):
I didn't.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
This is my first time seeing him. I bought the
tickets back in like January, when I think the tour
yides first got announced. But uh no, I've never seen him.
Been a big fan for a while now, so super excited.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Oh that's going to be great.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, you bought them in January I think of twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Remember that, it was like one hundred years ago they
announced it.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
It was like a year and a half or two
years before the tour they sold tickets. Yeah, just in
a bank that invest the money in whiskey and cigars.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Obviously. What's your name again, Matt Jake? Jake, Jake. Sorry
they sound so much alike. Jake.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I'm gonna tell you something I remember the first time
I saw Metallica. Reminded me it's like that first time
when you were a girl. It's that kind of experience.
It's a memorable experience. You're never going to forget. Why
are you two looking at each other like that, because
that's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
It's not ridiculous. It's the first time. So it was,
well what they only played for eight seconds? All right?
You know, Okay, I forget it.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
I walked right into that, not just for oh oh
you know, all right.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
So you're going to see him in Syracuse what used
to be the Carrier Dome where the Orange play, which
has been the scene of so many shows, so many
absolutely obliterated college students I imagine the party atmosphere is
just going.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
To be off the charts.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
So when do you leave to get there?

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I'm gonna get back to your Jersey probably around one
or two pm today, and then I'm gonna leave at
like ten in the morning tomorrow, drive up to so
a lot of driving.

Speaker 2 (09:01):

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
I used to ill tell him when I when I
first got on the phone, I used to call into
Q one O four to three in New York all
the time to try to win ticket.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
That's our sister station, Yeah, huge station.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Yeah yeah, I want. I want a couple of concerts
from them back in my day in like middle school
and high school. I want tickets to see Stix and
def Leppard.

Speaker 2 (09:22):

kid for you, man, job Jake, whatever you said, your

Speaker 1 (09:50):
I have no plans.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I just maybe get some tension out, you know, the
wife and I who played Cowboy in the New School.
Woh jesus, speaking of so you don't have to think
about taking this job.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Can you give us a doctor jellyfinger update after the song?
Oh jeez, yeah, that's what I want. Went on yesterday,
I saw the tube. Ah, it was just sitting there
mocking me. I have my physically yesterday. I'll tell you
about it.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Coming up from ZL Boston's Classic Rock one hundred points,
have atu, WCX, Chuck Nola Morning Show, Daniel Murrn Thailand,
Good morning. The Bruins cleaned out their lockers yesterday and
just cheepishly as quickly as possible got out of the building.
Do you think there was a possibility. As they were leaving,
they passed the Celtics who are coming into practice for the.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Playoffs on Sunday. And how awkward is that? Celtics like, yeah,
let laughed at him, well, laughing and pointing, throwing garbage
at him. Have fun on the golf course. That's gotta
be rough, Maneah, it's a bad season. Put your whole
year into that.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Like you just watched the first episode of the Red
Sox documentary I did, which you agree, it's really good.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
It's really good.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
What you get out of that is the intensity of
the game. Like we're watching it drinking beers, falling asleep
on the couch whatever. These guys involved in the game.
Oh my god, it's like life or death for one game.
Every game is the biggest game of their lives.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yes, that's kind of what I got out of it
in the mind of one hundred and sixty two games
plus spring training.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Yeah, I mean we just did one week of radio
and we're exhausted. Absolutely. Can you imagine going through this
for like eight months? No, and like.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
With the Bruins, not only get the intensity of each
and every game, you're getting beat up every game too,
the physical toll of it too.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I'm sore getting out of the chair. I can't imagine
getting hip checked into the boards. Speaking of sore, I
have my physically yesterday.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
You haven't said ah once when you sat down, so
it couldn't be that bad. So you guys got it
in my head.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
It's all I could think about was that one moment
when the glove goes on, so snap. I show up
at the office ready to go, get there a little early.
The radio that they had playing was not quite tuned in,
so that got to me. It was just it was off.
It was like static coming in and nobody seemed.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
To be bothered by that. It got to me. That
would drive me nice.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
You can't stand that, and then they have you go
and sit in the room on the paper for like
twenty minutes, twenty five minutes by yourself, just sitting there,
looking around, looking around, hold like it's cold.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Everything shriveled. I see the tube over there, just waiting.
The tube is waiting.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Okay, the pool in the pool. Doctor came in and asked,
how's everything going. You look great. Your blood pressure is great.
Your heartbeat, I have a fifty five resting heartbeat. That's impressive, Chuck.
That is very not after.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Working with time, working with this today. And I said,
you know, it's kind of funny. We were talking about
this morning. We were calling your doctor jellyfingers, Like, why
would you do that? Jelling that before the appointment? Just
the way he said that, It's like, what's just a joke?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Was he mad? He was a little surprised. I don't
think he knew what it meant. How do you not
know what that means?

Speaker 1 (12:58):
I know?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
So I said, you know you checked the prostate with
the glove and the lubrication on it and all that.
It says, well, you know, we could do that with
a blood test, or we could do it that way.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
What do you think? I said, are you serious? Does
anybody ever ask for the finger you know what check on,
Chuck said as he looked over his shoulder. Has anybody
ever said, yeah, let's do the finger? You know, hang

(13:28):
out doctors, the nurse comes in, it's like, I'm just
sure to do your intake for me.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Like what, oh, Chuck thought everybody was going to do it,
the nurse, the doctor, the practice.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Do you mind if I bring a couple of interns
in here? I really wanted to say it was like
a deli. It said take a number. Yes, we want
everybody to learn this is where the finger goes. So
that everything went well.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Fit is a fiddle Ready to get up at three
thirty for many years to come.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
There we go, Chuck, healthy baby, God, nice way to go.
