Bay released him in April in the cost cutting move,

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Well, kay am, I getting winter when I come there

a happy woman.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Oh man, that sounds good.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I'll take It'll be the case on Sunday. But right
now it is okay.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Jets Seahawks playing the Jets. Joey, you've covered a few
Jets games. You live there in the New York area.
What is going on where the current situation is how
ready are they to play a game? They fired their GM,
they fired their coach, they fired their play call, they
fired everybody.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
But Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
It seems Woody Johnson flying in on helicopters in the
middle of practice firing a GM. I can see a
scenario where the Jets Woody Johnson wants the team to
lose to draft a quarterback top of the first round
next year if Aaron Rodgers isn't staying and that players
of course, you and I know the NFL. The players,
they don't find any of that. They got a plague
(06:08):
so they can earn a job next year and some money,
so they aren't quitting. What is the dynamics of the
Jets as far as competitiveness right now?
Speaker 5 (06:17):
Yeah, the top problem with what you're saying is that
there's not a great quarterback in twenty twenty five. I
think four. But I think even forgetting the tanking for
I mean, this is an organization that is stocked full
of talent. They have Aaron Rodgers. Not only were they
getting talent off and at the off seasons, but they
also got the vante adam of the trade deadline just
a few weeks ago. And yet they still have last
(06:38):
what seven of their last eight I mean this is
three side six. Yeah, seven of their last eight, and
particularly they just have only won one game to hiring
head coach Robert sal And I think when you look
at that, there's clearly a huge cultural issue. I don't
think this is a stematic issue. It's definitely not a
talent issue, and I think the cultural issues are only
going to persist. And you have a head coach and
a general manager who are out in the middle of
(07:00):
the season, when you have a quarterback who went on
Tot McAfee show just a few minutes ago saying, well,
I might want to plan twenty twenty five, I might not.
I mean, it seems like everyone in management, and I
put Aaron Rodgers in the management category for many reasons,
is thinking about next season, not this season. And at
some point the way I was contracted. Look at the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are kind of opposite right now, where you
(07:21):
have Jerry Dark's, their team owner and general manager, saying
this morning on radio, well, I think back night McCarty
next year. I don't think that'd be crazy. Look at
what he's done. And while you can decide whether or
not McCarthy should be back, that is a team that
they just won in Washington. They're playing the better of
their two options. In the wake of back Prescott, their
owner is still expressing belief in his management, and I
(07:42):
think that they are trying to win. The Jets, for
actions do not reflect the team trying to win. And
then you have these players for a still going on
the field being like, well, what are we supposed to do?
Speaker 4 (07:51):
You think Aaron Rodgers is with the Jets next year, Jory.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
I do not, because I think he has a new
head coach and a new general manager. I'm possibly a change,
and even he's running the team of what he Johnson
into stand back to their position that he had in
the last Trump administration. I think that the guys who
wanted Aaron Rodgers and brought him in are no longer
going to be in power and are going to want
to start fresh.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I've been wrong before, No, never, not since we've had
you in the show.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Yea, I won't be wrong again.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
That I've been running joy.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
You been covering the Commanders kind of closey you've been.
You went to the Commanders Eagles game last week. The
Commanders lose to Pittsburgh at home. They lose to the Eagles.
They lose the Dallas at home, a game they probably
shouldn't have lost. What are the cracks concerning to you?
What's going on with dan Quinn's boys in DC?
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Yeah? When I look at franchise as a whole, I'm
not concerned, if anything, their way ahead of schedule in
their rebuild. This is the team with a head coach
and his first year, general manager in his first year,
a quarterback in his first year, and even a team
ownership group in their second year, and they already were
what they start the season seven and two. They have
a quarterback who's hitting on all cylinders from the big
(09:00):
their defense is better maybe than we expected, and I've
gotten better over the course of the season, So I
don't have any major questions in terms of the long
term outcome for the quarterback or the franchise. But what
my top concern is is the offensive coordinator. Cliff king Carey.
Now cop had done a great job and he deserves
credit for Jaden Thury charged his career, so you guys
know well for being in the NFC list. But the
(09:20):
big knock on Cliff kings Prey when he was in Arizona,
so that he would start the season's really strong come
out with these super creative game plans that really reflected
that he came straight from the college game to NFL
head coach position, and then at the end of the
season he would sail off. So I was punching numbers
on this earlier and Cliff was in Arizona for four years,
and in the first nine games of those four years
(09:41):
they won fifty six point nine percent. Well after that
twenty six point seven percent, so their winning percent would
drop off by more than thirty percent towards the second
half of the season, a little bit underhelf. And that's
kind of what we're starting to see. And what made
me want to write about this this week is that
Jaden Daniels said in a postgame interview, and he feels
like teams are starting to figure out what's working, starting
(10:03):
to figure out how to defend his beat pass, starting
to figure out how to contain him. And he did
look a little bit better this week than he had
looked against the Steelers and Eagles. But I think that
Cliff King's very fair or not, has this reputation for
falling off the lack of a better word, Cliff in
the second half of the season, and he now has
an opportunity to try and reverse that trend, but so
far he is not reversing it.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
I see what you did there, Joey with Cliff and Kingsbury.
Think you this is Joey Epstein or Weekly visit with us.
Thanks to Zeke's Pizza Zigspizza dot com, homegrown in the Northwest.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
At one point, the Carolina Panthers, they were the laughing
stock of the NFL.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
And then in the month of November happened.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
They beat the Saints, not a good football team, to
beat the Giants, also not a good football team. And
then they go toe to toe with the defending champions
and Bryce Young leads his young team down there to
potentially win the game. But then you give the ball
to Chief not Chief, excuse me, You give the ball
to Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes and you know what
he's able to do. How impressive has this month been
for the Panthers? Just trying to find rhythm?
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Yeah, funny one I reached out to and Panther's people
asked me about what this. It wasn't a win against
the Chiefs, but it was pretty close to one. With
this very close game with the if I named Super
Bowl Champions meant for Bryce Young, for the organization's confidence
in him, and for Bryce's confidence to himself. One first
remind me, They're like, remember we got a little bit
lucky because the only reason he started is because Andy
(11:23):
got hurt and now obviously not lost for how Andy
got hurt. The Dulton's family was in a car accident.
He strained his thumb during it, but they did not
plan to bring back Bryce. When they did, that was
something that was their Their hand was forced. But what's
interesting is that as we see Bryce's game start to
look a little bit better, I think about what is
the quarterback doing, and people in the organization tell me, well,
(11:43):
what is the coaching staff doing? How is the coach
calling place? And it's kind of his chicken and egg
situation of when you have a young quarterback, you want
the quarterback to earn the truck, to get more aggressive
playhouse that you don't think he's going to mess up,
but also he has to be put into opper, into
positions and allowed to do things that will help him
earn the track. I talked to Matt Lafour about this
(12:04):
that training camp when I was in Green Bay, and
he remembered when the Packers played the Steelers last year,
the game when he felt comfortable starting to calm work
ractively based on a few throws and decisions that Jor
and Love had made. And I think that's what we're
starting to see his bright down and since his coaching
staff was not believing in him enough to give him
the play calls that would allow his scale set to
show in his football high two to show that's Curtly
(12:26):
on the coaching staff. Will credit to all of them
for figuring it out, and it'll be fascinating to see
what this means for quarterbacks going forward in terms of
do we see more guys potentially getting benched for a
quick reset if it's not working out until the organization
figures it out.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Jory out here in the NFC West, the forty nine
Ers are a show of himself. They were like a
JV team going against Green Bay the thirty eight ten
loss in Lambeau the other day. No rock party, no
Trent Williams. Christian McCaffrey has been out for most of
the season. Nick Bosa is now out. Do you do
you see the forty nine ers weathering this, getting them
(13:02):
back and still making a run or there was already
talking the Bay Area it's let's gear up for twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Yeah, I think this is kind of a gear up
for twenty twenty five. I think the time is running out.
Maybe RB has run out, and it's challenging. I feel like,
if you asked me a few weeks fo, I would
have said the Rams and Niners team the most likely
of a very close division to Bull zero. And now
I would say, look what the Seahawks are doing and
how they're improving over the course of the season. Look
what Arizona's done is if not specifically this past week.
(13:31):
I mean, you always hear the cliche from coaches if
you want to be playing your best football of the
regular season in November and December to set you up
for the playoffs. And I think trajectories matter, and the
forty nine ers are not on the trajectory in their
first year after going to the Super Bowl that they
want to be on.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
In the NFC North, the Seahawks are going to be
playing Green Bay and Minnesota back to back here in
Seattle December fifteenth, twenty second, there are combined seventeen and five.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
The Packers and the Vikings.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Are what's doing it, and they seem to have some
ingredients that could get them a road playoff winner two
in the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Yeah, absolutely, I mean I would definitely expect Marianna few
North's teams to be in the playoffs. I've said that previously.
On this show, and I continue to feel that way.
I think when you look at the Niners or not
nine years, we're not talking about them anymore. When you
look at the Minnesota Vikings, I think what you see
if Brian for is coordinating a defense that's playing way
above what the talent would Suggestice should be doing on paper.
(14:29):
The blitz teams, that's that he's coordinating. Specifically, the hera
blistered is a lot what Chicago's talking about this past week.
They are really a problem for a lot of quarterbacks
and offensive and then they have an offense where Sam
Darnold might not have been the quarterback coming into the
season that you thought could do it, but oh well,
when you had Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison and all
the different skilled players he had, they're very explosive. And
(14:50):
that's definitely showing through on the Green Bay side of sayings.
Their offense looks good last year. It's funny when I
wasn't training camp again, not Laflour was being like, I
don't think we need a wide receive one. I think
we could have multiple guys in a different spots, and
everyone wondered if, like, can you though, or you just
saying that because that's your only option. I think that
they're showing that you absolutely can do that. Jordan loves feelings.
(15:12):
He needs to be very high. What he needs to
do is avoid interceptions, which he did for the first time,
I believed in nine games against the forty nine ers,
and that's what he'll try it continue to do. And
this defense with their newer coordinator, that looks way better
this year. So I do believe that each of those
teams have the talent and the coaching cohesive needs to
win to win, to win a playoff game.
Speaker 6 (15:34):
Well, I did mention the horrible New York Giants. My goodness,
I feel bad for that that fan base. But Daniel
Jones is cleared waivers, what's next for his future? And
then looking at the Giants, you have neighbors and Lawrence
calling the Giants soft. What does that say about the
team and that I guess they just lost it. I
guess everyone's gonna get fired pretty soon.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's challenging. Brian Dabeles definitely
needs to have a strong and the season and if
he wants to keep his job for next year. And
when you have the Daniel Jones situation. I mean, this
is something that yes, Daniel Jones is not playing well,
I understand why he didn't keep his job going forward,
but I also think that you have to blame the
franchise plays for drafting him and giving him what free
head coaches in his first four years, But you also
(16:17):
have to blame them for having the off season hard
knocks last year. That having an off season hard knocks
last year, that they were publicly telling people that they
did not believe that Daniel Bills was their guy going
forward and if they did not believe that this was
going to work out. And so when you show not
only the player and not only the team, but literally
the entire public that you don't have confidence in him,
(16:39):
I think that makes it very challenging for him to
succeed going forward. And so now you look at Brian
Dabaw and says, okay, well he's I think the biggest
question that the Giants will have to ask themselves is
do you believe that you are going to find someone
better to develop the next quarterback? And then what you
deal with if you don't think you will have someone
(17:00):
better to develop that quarterback is well, if Brian Dable
doesn't work out next year, then you're bringing in a
coach and a quarterback in different times, and you're creating
this cycle where your guys, your leadership is not on
board with the guys coming in.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Kind of sounds like the team that shares the stadium
with them, the Jets. Then you not even bringing up
the Saquon Barley situation anow, they just let him go.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Out the door. Where do you think Daniel Jones's best
fit might be San Francisco's quarterback situation with perty hurt?
Where might his next move?
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Yeah, what I thought was so interesting is I wanted
to write about Daniel Jones act he gave his state
of last week. I just thought it was so cracky,
Like we've seen this with Derek Carr and Russell Wilson
in recent years when organization gave up on them before
the end of the season. The didn't want to activate
their entry guarantees and so they just didn't play. Russell
Wilson that being in Denver, not with you guys in Seattle.
And they both ultimately gave statements on social media afterward
(17:55):
and thank the fans, but they weren't getting up and
giving their cheery, thank you so much, and Dane set
up Dancy and nothing but respect for the leadership, et cetera,
et cetera. And so I was talking to executives around
the league saying, what do you think is next? And
what was so interesting to me is that a lot
of teams view him as the perfect bridge quarterback. So
he's not going to be the guaranteed starter, like and
(18:17):
he's probably one of the better thirty two quarterbacks in
the league right now, I think so, but he's somewhere
in that like twenty five to thirty five range. We'll
see who comes in. And he's also not a guaranteed
back if he's got too much talent, so you probably
want him to compete with someone. But what I love
about what Daniel jonesonia the bridge quarterback is that when
you need a bridge quarterback, it's not just about the
skills to win some games. It's also about the willingness
(18:39):
to mentor on quarterback. It's also about the willness to
know that your job is probably not going to make
it through the season given how trends have gone. And
like when Jakobe Rissette came into the Patriots with this year,
he had to not be a team distraction when Drake
Maye got the job, and I think when Daniel Jones
gade his statement last week, he showed teams I can
be that guy who's not an distraction. He was helping
me Devido get ready for the game, find scout team
(19:01):
safety one day before he got released, and he was
giving a statement that supported the organization rather than created
issues for it.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Daniel Jones would be very willing to sign a veteran
minimum contract for the rest of this year. In his
six NFL seasons, he's earned seventy two movie is.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Definitely and I didn't answer your question. I'm like going
into one of those coaches far, but the team that
I think is most likely. I think the Minnesota Vikings
are a fascinating landing spot for him. And that's what
a lot of the executives I talk to you said,
because this is a team that, Yeah, Cam Donald's played
great for them, so it's kind of not on Sam Donald.
But if he continues this even how he started, or
even better, keep going to get a contract that might
(19:39):
be beyond what they want to play, given they just
drafted JJ McCarthy tents this PAP year in the first round.
But also, will Jaz McCarthy be healthy en us right away?
And also if you are the Vikings, but there are
some teams that are going to believe they could fix
the quarterback, well I don't think that that's unfounded for
the Vikings, and you look at what they did with
Sam Donald, and so I think that if you had
this opportun community and you say, well, Sam Darnold's with
(20:02):
the cast of weapons, played way better here, why don't
we get the other New York guy who was put
into a bad situation. Take Barkley's already showed how much
better a player can look when they're no longer on
the Giant's roster. And then you have Daniel until McCarthy's ready.
But McCarthy's still your longer term option.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Joey, where you gonna be this holiday weekend?
Speaker 5 (20:21):
Holiday weekend? I will be watching him home, no games listed.
I will not be at y'all's game up.

is correct, all right, Let's see Edgar is there for optics.
The hitting coach would do all the work, and that
was from the two five to three. Well, the hitting
coach definitely would do the work day to day. It's
the question becomes what groundwork could he lay Martinez and
(23:44):
what influence would he have on the day to day
If Kevin Sitzer the bench hitting coach from the four
to two five, watching Gino was like watching a highly
talented rookie. He can make plays, he can extend plays,
but then It's like he doesn't understand the coverage that
he's looking at, and he's done that twice. Literally, hasn't
seen one of the fensive backs falling back into the
(24:05):
passing lane.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
To a sexist Gino is great. Get the man some
protection so he's not pressing so much and making mistakes.
Two five three says what about Justin Fields? Would you
take a chance on him? Absolutely not, No, I would not.
He would be cheaper than Gino. Yes, he would trade
for Trevor. The reason for he's be cheaper Trevor Lawrence,
No thanks fifty bucks, says no way. The Seahawks resigned
(24:31):
long term genusith maybe a two year extension.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Two five three says yeah, I agree with that.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I don't think at age thirty five next year that
he's going to get a four or five year deal
that maybe he's seeking.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
But I don't see the Seahawks doing that. Well, Greg,
it's that time.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Chance to win one thousand dollars from the Emerald Queen Cassino,
the betting and entertainment capital of the Northwest, right in
time for Thanksgiving is right now?
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Where's set to go? Glad you're with us, it's your shot.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
At our weekly thousand bucks and the ten thousand dollars
grand Prize. It's Fact door Fiction, brought to you by
the Emerald Queen Casino, the betting capital of the Northwest.
Make the beautiful new WEQUC Sports Bookie your home all
football season long. Fact door Fiction is on Sports Radio
ninety three point three kJ R FM.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
All right, where do I want to go?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Now?
Speaker 4 (25:25):
You know, while you're ruminating, I just came out my pick.
I was just I was being silly.
Speaker 6 (25:30):
Okay, go ahead, December first, to kick off the first month,
the month of December. Give me the Cincinnati Bengals at
the crib. They're at home, they're favorited. Give me the
Bengals minus three against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ten am start,
so by noon you'll know.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
You'll see that the Bengals are handling business. So go ahead.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
Give them the Bengals minus three at the crib. I
think they get it done. Greg does not like that pick, which.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Could be a good thing. So well, I'm born and
raised out thirty minutes from the stadium. That my bad.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
The good news is they'll still be okay in their
division for the Steelers. But this one Baldon was going
to overtake them. We expected that AnyWho Bengals minus three
at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. So if you agree,
you're going to text in fact. If you think that
the Bengals are gonna win by four or more, you'll
(26:28):
text in fact. If you disagree, you think the Steelers
are gonna win or cover, you're gonna text in fiction.
So again, I'm taking the Bengals minus three at home
against Russell Wilson him the Steelers.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Christmas two and oh last week, keeping our show right on,
we're in second place by game.
Speaker 6 (26:46):
Right, we're in second by a game. Now, come on
the Morning Show. Had a good week, those guys.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
We're about to.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Overtake the Morning Show and win the competition, which ends
next week. Cincinnati minus three at home against Pittsburgh. If
your greed text fact to four, nine four or five one,
And if you disagree, text fiction.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
To four nine forty eight, four nine four or five
to one.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
You have eleven minutes, after which time it'll be in
for Neesza's turn of two thirty five to give you
his pick or a three thirty five.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Dave Softy Moler and Dick Faine again how it works.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
I'll have to win once during the week to win
one thousand dollars the weekly prize. Your week chance is
end tomorrow, though no, we don't have Thursday and Friday chances,
so you're you got to max them out right now
today and tomorrow is it for the week. If you
win only once, your name is entered in a drawing
to win one thousand dollars. If you win the most
times in the run of the contest, which when started
(27:35):
in September and is going to go until next week,
you win the ten thousand dollars grand prize.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
From the Emerald Queen Casino. The Benning and Entertainment couple.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Of the Northwest Bengals at home minus three over the Steelers,
Chris is saying that the Bengals will win by four
or more points.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
If you agree, text fack to four nine, four or
five one.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
If you think the Steelers will keep it close by
a field goal or win the game outright, text fiction
to four nine and four to five one.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
You have about ten minutes to do that. You know
a non segue I just came up with.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
If the Sounders win the Western Conference Finals match in
the Los Angeles Galaxy and Carson on Saturday, they will
host the MLS Cup. The championship December seventh would be
at lumen Field. If the Sounders win, they go based
on regular season record and the Sounders finished with more
points and standings than either of the two teams in
the Eastern Conference Finals, Orlando City or New York City
(28:24):
Red Bulls. So an ad of incentive as if the
Sounders needed one for Saturday seven pm at the LA Galaxy.
If they win, they would host the MLS Cup for
the championship at lumen Field on Saturday, December the seventh.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
The Seahawks are gone.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
That weekend, playing at Arizona again. Chris says Bengals minus
three over the Steelers. If you're a great text factor
four nine four to five, what if you disagree?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Text fiction?
Speaker 3 (28:49):
The four nine four to five one I and Furness's
up next to talk before his show begins at twelve
to three on ninety three point three KJRFM.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Welcome back to the Greg Melt Show with Christopher Kidd.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
If you missed it on the last second, you still
got a few minutes for the Factor of fiction for
the day. Chris picking the Bengals minus three at home
against the Steelers. He thinks Cincinnati's going to be Pittsburgh
by four or more points.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
He agreed. Text factor four nine, four or five one.
If you disagree, text fiction to four nine, four or
five one.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
The next chance will be during the show of the
Woman Who's about to Speak in years right now, the
Infnest Show with Jessamin Mcintyren Anderson Hurst.
Speaker 7 (29:27):
Well, thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
I'm still excited about Armie Navy in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 8 (29:33):
I think I told you about that like seven months ago,
and you've been excited ever since.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
So really excited about that.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Hello, why you've seen it? You know what. I'm excited.
Speaker 7 (29:43):
I know it's amazing. I'm excited too, just for that reason.
Speaker 8 (29:46):
This will be my third one and my first was
absolutely unbelievable in Philadelphia, and I got to witness all
the pageantry, all of the honor that all of players.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
Bring to the field, bring to the our lives. I
love it very much.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
But it's a class reunion for me. That's the most
exciting part for me.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
I see about seven more of my guys again in Washington,
for a couple of weeks.
Speaker 8 (30:09):
It's so amazing. And for those of you out there,
Ian Forness will be on the show today. He is
just wrapping up an interview right now.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
I was just going to tell make him think this
was the better option anyway brought in.
Speaker 8 (30:21):
I don't know how many would agree with you on
that one, but I'll take it. Yes, Today, we've got
a lot coming up.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
We have John Ryan at twelve twenty.
Speaker 8 (30:30):
Yes, he always gives some really fun insight on the
Seahawks and coming off of that win and just seeing
the NFC West where it stands right now, we can
agree that that's a little weird where we've got six
and five, six and five, five and six, five and six,
and it's almost anybody's game. It kind of reminds me
of the twenty ten year Pete Carroll's first year, that
(30:52):
was my second year out here, when they won the
conference it's seven and nine division champions and hosted the
Super Bowl winning Saints and beat them at their home field.
I just like it when it's anybody's game is up
for grabs. So interesting to hear his thoughts on that.
I don't think he was with the team yet. During
that time he was, and so I'm wondering from the
(31:16):
outside looking in what he thinks about that. I mean,
I'm not saying that they're going to have a losing
record and or whoever does win to be much right,
and then we'll do He always takes us through a
bunch of fun stories and memories, and I'm sure we'll
hear a lot about that. What was that postgame locker
(31:37):
room like after that win, especially against the Cardinals, And.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
It was with the Seahawks in twenty ten, that was
third actually, so he was a year and nine. He
was with Mike Holmgren in two thousand and eight and
then for the okay, so he was he was here
for the seven and nine okay, then hanging in the
indoor practice facility. Yeah, you can definitely think him about that.
Speaker 7 (32:01):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (32:02):
Well, that's at twelve twenty today, and unfortunately we have
to rehash what happened to the Koogs this weekend.
Speaker 7 (32:08):
We'll have to, No, we will. It's at one.
Speaker 8 (32:11):
At one we have Chris O, Bruce and Alex Brink,
who have widely widely valuable insights into the team and
what it's like to play for a team that is
flailing at a time when especially everything was going their
way for quite a bit, and that was a tough one.
(32:33):
You know, we're pretty transparent. We tape that this morning
with Alex and MK.
Speaker 7 (32:37):
So you'll hear it. You'll hear it. You'll get a
full dose of that.
Speaker 8 (32:41):
And then for those fantasy football players out here, we
know it's a short week. We're not going to make
funds and work on Thanksgiving and we're not going to
work either, and so we have Fundston on today at
two o'clock.
Speaker 7 (32:54):
He is going to kick off the unofficial start of
the long weekend.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
Wow, So twelve o'clock sharp in your text questions, yes.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
Yes, for those we don't.
Speaker 8 (33:06):
We might make some exceptions today just considering it's not
a Thursday. And so I'll give you guys a couple
of seconds.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
Leeway Man getting sauce.
Speaker 7 (33:16):
I know I'm not Kevin Jockey, Okay.
Speaker 8 (33:20):
For you?
Speaker 7 (33:20):
Uh yeah, no, I will.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
We will because people aren't trained. They're trained for Thursday.
They have them ready. But put those you know, put
your questions in. Just make sure you send it and
if you're in it twelve you will get the first crack.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
I think Jake Dickett's going to be upset this weekend
because anecdotally, I don't hear anybody, certainly students going to
that game. They're all back here in Seattle for the
holiday weekend. I don't know too many people in clean
my son who are trekking back to Pullman by three
thirty on.
Speaker 7 (33:50):
Saturday play Wyoming. Yeah, that's the thing is that it's Wyoming.
Speaker 8 (33:54):
The apple crop used to be something so you lived
in the state and you could spend Thanksgiving to get
or whether you had to travel or not.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
Everybody's going to the game, and.
Speaker 8 (34:04):
Even if it was Oregon State, it could have been
a little bit more meaningful.
Speaker 7 (34:09):
And I'm just gonna hold my tongue.
Speaker 5 (34:13):
On that one.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
We know how they got there. They we do cobbling
together whatever schedule they could find.
Speaker 8 (34:18):
I mean, at least we got a schedule, right, and
they'll have a bowl game win, lose bowl game.
Speaker 7 (34:24):
Yeah, we'll see how that pans out.
Speaker 8 (34:26):
But anyway, Yeah, at one o'clock, we'll do a full
Cougar breakdown exactly what has been going on the past
two games and the losses between the Lobos and then
obviously what happened against Oregon state.
Speaker 7 (34:38):
You were there front and center for him, so very
single play. It didn't rain. There you go, It didn't rain.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
There you go.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
I like to take a silver lining summarize the last.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Two weeks of Cougar football in one statement, it didn't
