Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park Capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.
This is the Theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast? Is this
a radio?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Anyway?
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hey there and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. This
is Dickerman. There is Scott Harris.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hi, Hello, welcome.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
And there's no Jimmy D because he's on his European vacation. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
We you texted like, hey, are we all recording? He's like,
I'm on my way to Brussels.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
So that was an I mean, if you're getta go
to Europe, stretch it out right. I mean, I'm not
I'm not gonna fault him on this.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
I need they have internet there if he's talking to us,
they have internet.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
I suppose they do. I don't know what kind of
internet they have there. How do you like, I'm pretty
sure they stopped in France. How do you think Jimmy
fared in France?
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Knowing Jimmy not, I mean not well, like.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
There is probably at least a couple of altercations.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
He's probably not allowed back to France. Yes, so EPCOT
might be the only France he knows now.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
That that is as highly likingly. Well, Jimmy will be
back next week. I'm sure he'll have tales from his
European vacation. He did not go to Disneyland Paris because
Lauren Campbellrealt dot Com would now allow it, because she
actually wanted to see Europe and not another theme park.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I mean, here's the thing. If he went, it's an expense.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I mean he could write off the whole trip, is
what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Well, at least the Disney portion of it. Okay, a
are we a theme park podcast?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
We are?
Speaker 1 (01:38):
We are?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
This is a business he is actually making any money.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Is Disneyland Paris a theme park?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
It is a It is a theme park.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
But I don't know that Lauren is willing to give
up a day of her European vacation so he can.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Report back.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Well, maybe he went to the Harry Potter studios, because
that's that's that's there as well in England.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
If he was to go anywhere, it would be there.
Considering he's the guy with the Harry Potter robe and
wand and it's personalized, makes sense all right. Well, while
Jimmy is out. You did probably see some Harry Potter
because you actually made it out to Universal Orlando.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah. So I woke up the other day and was like,
I it was cold because it's been cold lately except
for the two days where it's like eighty degrees, and
I desperately wanted a warm, hot butter beer. Oh, a
hot butter beer, because I, as I contend, it is
the best of the butter beers.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
I've never if I'm being honest, I've never had it
because if you give me an option and you put
a gun to my hand, I'm always gonna choose the
frozen butter beer.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, that's the thing. There were people buying the cold
one still and it was good. It was forty degrees.
What do you do with it?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
And here's the stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
The hot butter beer still has the foam on top. Okay,
it just it just starts to melt into the drink.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
I mean, if you know what, if Universal invites us
out for some sort of press event again m hm h,
and they out for us free butter beers like that
time with Hagrid, I will I will drink a warm
butter beer.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
It's so good. I will buy I will buy you one.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Oh I can't.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
I just I feel bad risking the seven dollars on
something that's not the guaranteed love of the Frozen Butter Bear.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
It's so good though, so I'm like, let me go go,
let me go buy some, let me go get some,
let me go get some of that. So I'm like
I went and it wasn't too too busy because we're
in this like weird in between period where it's like
after Thanksgiving in pre Christmas, schools like colleges are out,
but like high school like regular schools are.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Like still going on in a few more weeks.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, So it was like a little like the rides
were busy, but it's like I'm just gonna walk around.
I just want some vibes. I want to check out
some stores. There's the Holiday Tribute store that I haven't
been to yet. Let me go do that. I had
to google where the hot butter be sold, because it's
not at every place.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Is it in hogs Breadth the Saloon, so.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
It's there at Universal, or it's at the restaurant in
Diagon Alley, or there's the outdoor butter beer spot at
Diagon Alley as well.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Okay, and I know, yeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Like a twenty minute wait for that, so I'm like, well,
at least I know for a fact they sell it here.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I like that restaurant inside Diagon Alley. I don't love
the food, but I love the aesthetics and the look
inside there.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
This is how I know it was busy. Uh you
couldn't move when the dragon was about to breathe fire Dah's.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
That's almost That area is very similar to near the
Castle at Disney un at the end of the night,
where you're just stuck in a wall of people. Yes,
I don't care for that, and you you usually have
strollers nipping get your heels.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I did get hit a couple of times by strollers.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, people don't know how to control those things.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Well, no, the things that people don't know how to control,
and it's it's it's you know, I'm sorry that you're injured,
but you know, the like the like scooters were like,
say you have where they're like on like one knee
and they're like that guy. Yeah, and it's just how
like you're literally controlling it yourself.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Yeah, I thought you met the motorized ones, because sometimes
the motorized people. They'll just think they can plow through
a crowd because they're on a scooter and they can
go faster than people can walk. And I'm like, dude,
I can only go as fast as the giant crowd
in front of me.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Where do you think I'm going to go?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Valid?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
No, yeah, like it's it's hard to maneuver. I mean,
I still remember when Disney tried to like do their
rule about stroller sizes and that lasted like two weeks.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, I didn't last it. Oh, they could not even
begin to make that one work.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
But so like I got my butter Beard, it's like,
all right, let me go check out the Holiday Tribute store,
which is pretty cool. They had a couple of different rooms.
There was like a Harry Potter room, cause Harry Potter
is basically Christmas.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Movie, it is true story.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
And then they had a Grinch room, so I'm like, Okay,
this is kind of cool. And then there was like
an Earl the Squirrel room, which is basically their orange bird. Okay,
who already comes out of Christmas time?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Yeah, I don't think I know Earl's squirrel.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah he's well, there's little Boo, the will Boo the Pumpkin,
who's like the unofficial mascot of Halloween Horonites. Okay, and
then now there's Earl the Squirrel, which is like the
basically the official mascot of Christmas at universal at least true. Sure, sure,
so I checked that out and then I'm like, well, oh,
(06:33):
let me check there's a Wicked store. Now, let me
go check out with the Wicked store. And this used
to be the Hello Kitty Store and the Hello Kitty
Isle of Lucy. That's now that is straight Wicked.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
I missed that store. I missed the missed that store.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
And what did I learn? We are absolutely one thousand
percent getting Wicked. Where's it of oz Land Island something?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
It's coming.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
It was the most crowded store in the in any
of the parks in City Walk, merchandise flying up the shelves.
They had like costumes from the movie, and it was
hard to walk through that store. That's a big store too,
and like there's people. I saw people walking around dressed
up as characters from Wicked just in the park. Oh boy,
(07:21):
Like this is like foregone conclusion done. This is it
is the biggest movie basically of November December.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
What's going to be bigger that or the Moana because
I think Mohana made a ton of money, right.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
It did, Yes, But I think Wicked is going to
have staying power.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Okay, I mean, where does Interstellar that re released ten
years later fit into this mix?
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Top ten?
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Probably maybe all right? Ticket to get this past weekend.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
This is true. I thought about I might still try
while it's still available.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Do it, do it?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Here's how you know it's popular. They planned like a
month out after the initial release to do sing along
versions of the movie in theaters.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Oh yeah, that had that had to becoming.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
They didn't want people singing initially because they don't want
people to Yeah, I know. They just didn't want people
ruining experience for someone that maybe never saw it before.
That's okay, if you want to sing, we'll make a
special sing along for you. But you know, in the
movie theater is still try not to talk. Let's do
what they say. And you know, Nicole Kidman, don't make
noise in the theater.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
That's me. I'm I'm like the tiniest bit curious about this,
but I'm like I gotta wait until some and like
when I go to the movies, their movie there's a
packed because people are gonna go see Wicked. Yeah it's Barbie.
It is Barbie all over again.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Oh yeah, you're right, it is Barbie.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
This year they got another Barbie on their hands, So
go a Barbie Land too.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Well, that's that not come diffrue.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, that's that is not a Universal product. That's a
Warner Brothers product.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
So who who are they? Well Warner Brothers is Harry
Potter too, so I mean it's.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
That's a licensing deal. So it's it's weird rights thing.
So I'm like, okay, well I learned. Okay, we're absolutely
gonna get Wicked something somewhere.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yeah, it's coming.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
And then I walked over to Universal because I'm like, oh,
let me go, like just walk around there because they
have that other halloween store there in like Lost Content
and it's like Christmas Halloween store. So there's like some
cool creature from the Black Balloon stuff in there, which
is fun. But I'm like, oh, the Grinch is here.
(09:33):
Maybe I'll go to the Meet and greet with the Grinch.
Three hour weight three three hour weight.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
To meet the Grinch, I remember back in the day,
you can just catch him like walking through the sus Land.
He just come up behind you.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
No anymore.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Well the problem, it's not a problem. But what's happening
now is everyone doesn't want just a picture. They want
to do like a TikTok, a video, something with the character.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
And that's just the Chinese.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
The Chinese have infant traded our theme park. So now
we can't get a picture with the grant. Well it's it's.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Social media has just taken it over. Basically, it's just like, ah, so,
uh you can't. But it's like here's the thing I
will give. I will give Universal credit. Like there it
was like a pretty busy day. They had street characters
everywhere to just give people something to be entertained by.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
That's good, though, I mean that's good.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
You know, like for a while after the pandemic, you'd go,
I'm like, man, you couldn't find like people working stands,
Like stuff just wasn't open, people weren't around. They're just there,
weren't things to see, and it seems like we're for
the most part, you know, back into reality again.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
In one stretch, in the stretch from the uh Brown
Derby at Universal to the horror makeup show Mel's Drive
in I saw Betty Boop, the Scooby Friends, uh Simpson's characters,
Beetlejuice and Marilyn Monroe all just on that one stretch.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
That is a hot spot that stretched too.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
I remember what we would do broadcasting that broadcast to
do oe see Scooby Doo out there.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
So it's like they and then like when I was
walking through Souse Landing, like oh, there's who's going around
there's uh but I am uh same, I am right
over there. So it's like they like we're doing stuff.
And then I'm like, I'm hungry, let me go get
some pizza Tots its dots and then I'm like, uh,
I'm tired. I want to go home now. So zero
rides ridden, but I was experienced. Yeah, I was not playing.
(11:29):
I was not planning. Well, actually, no, I take it.
I walked over to Velosa Coaster and it was like
an hour wait and like that was gonna be the
only ride that I like desperately wanted to do.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Oh yeah, who doesn't want to ride Velosa Coaster.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
When you go there, you know, it's just like I'm
not waiting. I'm I'm not gonna I'm not gonna wait
for that and and uh, the next day, I'm like,
I'm gonna go stay here a Universal.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
I will I will hopefully do some rides during that trip.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
So when you're which which hotel you're going to go
to next time, that you're mister Universal Hotel guy Avan Tura,
I haven't that one looks cool. I have not been
in there yet, but it looks super cool.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
It's got like the rooftop bar. It's right across the
street from Cabana, So I'm like it. I looked as
an annual passolder. They had some like passolder rates. It
was one hundred and eight dollars per night.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
WHOA, that's a great deal.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
It's a very good deal. So I'm like done, all right, Yeah,
I like that. Yes, it's like it's like fifty dollars
cheaper than when I stayed at Cabana for my birthday
in you know, two months, difference.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
One hundred eight bucks a night. That's like holiday and
prices or something. You know, It's like that's a good price.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I'm yeah. So I'm like and it's like, I you know,
I kind of want to check out all of these
hotels and I'm like, oh, what are the other ones
fourteen hundred dollars a night.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Oh never mind.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah, the difference is strong between some of those hotel properties,
that is for sure.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
So I will same.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Goes for Disney. Yep.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
I will have a full recap of that coming up
on a later show.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
All right, well, heading over to Disney World, I see
that we got announcements for what is this Food and Wine?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
No, no, no, no food, no, this is Flower and Garden.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Flower and Garden, food and wine' zg right that's the original, yes, yeah,
so it's if we're doing the calendar, it's Festal of
the Arts, which is the beginning of the year.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Then that's the figment one. Then it's then it's flower,
then it's Flower and Garden.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Okay, it's in the spring, and then it's.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Food and Wine, which is ninety of the year, and
then it's now currently it's the holiday one.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Okay, all right, so this announcement is wait, which one
is announced? Now?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
This is Flower and Garden.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Okay, this is Flower and Gardens. This is our springtime one. Yes,
all right, so we've got our lineup. Do they list
foods too?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Not yet? But this is the Garden Rocks Concert.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Series, all right, all right, we got some bands? Yes,
who do we got?
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Let's let's because I want to be prepared for this
because a lot of times I hear these band names
and I say, well, I know the name, but I can't.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Tell you a song to save my life.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Well, March seventh and eighth. First up is Tommy DeCarlo,
the former lead singer of Boston.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Do you know Boston songs? Uh?
Speaker 2 (14:20):
More than a feeling?
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yeah? Yeah, that's that's the one. Yeah, how about feeling?
Everybody knows your song?
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Night?
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Ye get the song?
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Just close the Windown one.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
That's a big that's a big hit. Yes, you know
that's that's a big one. You can hear that in person.
That's pretty good.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Next up in March ninth and tenth is air Supply
for their fifteenth anniversary.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
You if you held a gun to my head, I
could not name an Air Supply song.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I know the song, I don't know the name of it.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Same, but a song.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah so.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Blue?
Speaker 4 (15:09):
That is some good, big song as one of those
ones everybody knows yep.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Uh, March fourteenth and fifteenth, Blue October.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
These guys have become a regular on this same we
know this M's modern.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Yeah, you just came out. This was like, you know,
I say, it's fairly mardin. I'm like, oh my god,
it came out twenty years ago.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Hey man, air spl fifty the anniversary now another mainstay.
March sixteenth and seventeenth, Rick Springfield.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
This guy, Yeah, this song.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Right, this is the that is the song.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
And when you name a band after just yourself, yep,
you don't have to pay the other guys so much
because you can just get any old ratty band members
to come and play. As long as they can play
the songs, you're good. So Springfield's like I could just
I was hire some you know, cheap musicians to come
out and play.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Yep. Well for him.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
After that, it's March twenty first and twenty second Herman's Hermits,
starring Peter new Newan Noon.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Okay, this one really threw me for a loop because
I'm like, who the hell is Herman Hermit's I've heard
the name. I'm looking for songs and I pulled up
the first one that came up. I'm like, what is this?
I don't know this at all. Yep, But then I
got this.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
One her Okay, no idea if you would have told
me no idea that band was from the fifties.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
That's what I would think.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Yeah, I would think so too. I have no idea.
Herman's Hermits Huh, you.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Got me after that. March twenty third and twenty fourth,
thirty eight Special.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
I'm saying this is the biggest one because I hear
thirty eight Special. Can't name a song you know any
thirty eight Special songs off the top of your head?
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Ummm, hang on, hang on, hold hold loosely this one, yeah,
good one.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
I didn't. I didn't. I didn't think that was thirty
eight Special.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Uh, yes, yeah, I said this one.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
I I like the pretty common.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
There.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
You know, if by a Disney passes, I would probably
go see these guys.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
By the way, I just looked. Herman's Hermits has been
around since nineteen sixty three.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Oh good god. Yeah. Their other songs sucked so bad.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
It was just awful, just awful, alright. Uh. And then
last up March twenty eighth and twenty ninth is Jason Chef,
the longtime singer of Cargo.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Is he the original singer?
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Though?
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Is the question?
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Because well it's a long time was whoever the guy was?
Speaker 3 (18:08):
He had this guy. Is it this guy I don't know,
or was this Peter.
Speaker 5 (18:13):
Satra or something.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
I don't even know.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
If it's that guy, i'd love to know of his
voice held up, because you can't keep that voice when
you get old.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Well, Jason was in the band from eighty five to
two thousand and nine. No. Twenty twelve. I bet you's
not this guy. Then I bet you this guy left
in eighty five.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
This guy, I feel like this is pre eighty five.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Peter Satara left.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
Eight.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
I know that was Peter Satara. I don't even know
how I knew that.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
It's just one of those things you learn, like by Osmos.
I learned these things. They worked with Mark Daniels for
a decade.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Yeah, I never played I never played a Chicago song
working in radio, and I don't know how I knew
that was Peter Satara.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
But yeah, so you can get the guy from Boston,
but it's not the guy from Boston you really want.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
All right, Chicago, gosh, Chicago. But the other, the Boston guy,
I think is the real guy. M maybe hey, just
go enjoy the vibes. I thought this when I looked
at this lineup, I thought it sounded more like a
sea World lineup as far as artists, because I feel
like that's some mainstays of SeaWorld too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Oh he third eight Special is like, oh, it will
probably be at SeaWorld at some point in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
For whatever reason, thirty eight Special felt to me like
they were gonna be like a Southern rock sound like
Leonard Skinner or something.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
But that wasn't the case.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
No, not at all.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Jason Chef replaced Peter Satara. He was the longest serving
bassist vocalist of Chicago for thirty one years.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
They try and put it over. They tried and like,
who was the longest one? He was there, but he's
not the one that people remember. It's the version of Chicago,
like the discount version. It's like when the guy came
in and uh and did uh Alison Chains Well, he
was good he maybe maybe he was better, but it
wasn't the one that people I will say this.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
His debut song with Chicago was twenty five or six
to four. That is one of their most popular songs.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Is it now?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
I don't you don't know? You know that song?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Which one was in the Karate Kid wasn't there one
in the Karate Kid?
Speaker 2 (20:37):
I've never seen the Karate Kid.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
Oh, it's like the second one. I think it was
a second one with a girl dumps. You never seen
the Karate Kid?
Speaker 3 (20:45):
No?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
What?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Yeah, you need to watch that Glory of Love. It's
only a Peter Satara song.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Oh so it was Peter Satara by himself.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
It's after he it's after he left.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Now I want Peter Satara to confres Can we get Peter?
Is he still alive?
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Peter turned eighty years old this share?
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Oh god, he can't sing anymore. He's eighty years old.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Hey man, have you seen Frankie Valley's still performing and
he's older than that?
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Good? Great? Oh man, I can't. I can't imagine Peters.
It's eighty years old.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Your voice, you know, your voice doesn't hold up, you know,
especially a high voice like that, There's no way it can.
It's often you go, like look at Vince Neil from
Motley Crue. He can't sing like he could in his twenties.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
If you take care of your voice, though you can.
You probably can't do all of the notes, but like
you can still get some of them. Like I wouldn't
sell Journey like a few years ago, and like, I
know it's not the same guy, but like, actually no,
i'd even but yes, I saw Journey, but Toto was
the opener, okay, and Toto sounded great.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Toto still got the original guys in it, I believe,
I believe. So, Yeah, Journey's the same situation as uh
as Chicago.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
That guy that Steve Perry was the band, Yeah, and
they replaced him. They got another guy. They got a
guy that sounds like him, but it's still not Steve Perry.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
They got the guy that they found was a karaoke guy.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Yeah, and he's been in the band longer than Steve
Perry was.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
And you know what, he's awesome because he's younger and
has so much more energy than like everyone else on State.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
I think at this point that he's been in the
band so long. I heard something recently that he wanted
to quit because he can't sing as.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
He run out the tread on his tires and he's like,
if you guys want me to quit?
Speaker 3 (22:24):
He did like a Twitter poll if he should quit
the band.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
No, don't, you're so good.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Some isolated audio came out. It wasn't sounded too then
so it was.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
It was a rough run very quickly. Some other theme
park news, Yeah, let's do that. Universal is joining in
on the license plate game, okay, all right, partnering with
Give Kids the World.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
That's well who Disney does too, they I think they
both do give kids the world?
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Right, yeah, so they will also be starting to offer
a license plate.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Very cool, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
And Disney's beak and land clearing behind the Magic Kingdom okay,
And people are speculating new hotel back there.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
I don't want anything done until we get an answer
on what the heck is going on with the starship Cruiser.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
No, you don't want them to do anything until they
tell you what happens with water.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
That too, I mean that too.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
But yeah, I want to get on the Galactic was
I already forgot the name Galactic star Cruiser.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
The Galactic star Cruiser Hotel.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
It's light was bright, but it burned out quickly.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
It did burn out very it burned out very quickly.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
All right, Well, we're just about out of time here.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
If people want to follow us for all the latest
breaking news on social media, where can people go?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Sco You don't want me to quickly run through MegaCon
adding a few more guests. We got like one more minute,
so I can do that.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
If you think you can squeeze in, and I'll let
you squeeze it in.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
