Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the theme park capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.
Is the Theme Park Podcast?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Podcast?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Is this radio?
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Anyway? Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Hey there and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman here,
there's Jimmy D. Good day, says and Scott Harris.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Hello? Hi?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
We are we are set for do you guys think
let me ask you this. Do you think this is
gonna be the busiest summer we've had a theme parks
in decades.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
I don't know if it's gonna be busiest, but I
feel like with the addition of another park, it might
help spread the wealth.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Like I mean, do you think like people are gonna
like Europeans and the Brazilians are big theme park goers.
You think they're gonna make special trips, not that they
don't already come here, but like, you know, plan around
on this specist species specifically a car to uh epic
Universe and of course all the other parks in town
wow City. I was trying to say specificity, but I
(01:12):
just I couldn't spit it out.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
I mean, I I think that just every year is
the biggest year. So I mean mine is like you know,
when the parks reduced capacity. I just think every year
is gonna trend up.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I feel like this year is just gonna be a monster.
I feel like it's gonna be a monster here.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Well, you know, I don't know, because uh, maybe the
Ministry of Magic is enough to.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Bring people over.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
But like how uh how potent is that Harry Potter fervor.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
It's I mean Harry Potter. If you go to either
of the other Harry Potter lands at Islands or at Universal,
it's always the busiest area. Those books, those those books
are generational. So even if you don't watch the movies,
you still love the world.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, it's a special, special connection with people because.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Like with the Nintendo Land, I'm very like Nintendo Land
is what I'm going for, But there's a Nintendo There's
already two Nintendo Lands out there.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
So it's like this is in Orlando. We are the
theme park capital of the world. As it states at
the beginning of this show, I mean, you can have
Nintendo Land in Japan. You can have no Nintendo landover
in California. But this is Orlando. Now it's a whole
different ball game. There's no Nintendo Land until Nintendo Lands
in Orlando. Huh well, I mean it's just it's not
the same. You know, you can go to the second rate,
you know, the dollar store version Nintendland.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
The second the second rate aka the first two whatever.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Well, I mean, we do have one ride that the
other two don't haver christ starter parks Okay, those are
just you know, your starter parks.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
This is like the real deal.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
You do realize that Universal Students Hollywood came first.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I do. But I'm just saying Orlando is the theme
park capital of the world. When people travel from around
the world to go to theme parks, they don't go, Hey,
I want to go to California, that stink hole. No,
I want to go to Orlando.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, California. California is a great place to visit, just
because you're not allowed there and besides, where else can
you at Epic Universe get makeup done to look like
the creature from the Black Lagoon, which we're gonna do
to one member of the show.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
This is true. I mean, that's that's a thing.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Or do you want to be the wolf Man. Jimmy, Jimmy, No, no,
you you which? Which? Which? Who are you gonna be Frankensteign.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Yeah, Frankenstein, Yes, yes, and you're gonna be the invisible Mayor.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Done.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
You got the right hair and forehead for it.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
I got the same brain too. I have this perfect
I was.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Gonna go with it. Well, I was gonna go with
the same walk to You got that as well.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Well, I kind of have that walk, like if I
sleep wrong, I'll have that walk for two weeks.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, it's it's true.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
It's funny you talked about busy because we're gonna this
is this is a mail bag episode of the show. Yeah,
one of the questions we had. I'm going to vary
it up a little bit. If you had to visit
one of our theme parks on the busiest day of
the year. Okay, which one are you picking?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Okay, First, I want to mention if you want to
send in questions to the show, we do have a
branch spanking shiny new email that you can send in Boscott.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
What's that emailing the theme Park podcast at iHeartMedia dot com.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
There it is there, it is. It sounds very official too,
very official. Okay, so busiest, busiest day of the year,
you got to pick one park to go to.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah, so say it's like spring break or holiday or
one of those days that.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Are just what's the weather like on this one day.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
I mean, I will always say that the busiest days
are usually in the summer. So, okay, you're dealing with
the unknown of that or right, I.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Have an answer. I do have an answer. I have
an immediate answer that comes to my mind, and that
is Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Oh. I think
there's the most to do there. I think there's the
most things you can you can squeeze in. There's just
such a large variety. Like the one I eliminated first
right away immediately was Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom, you just
(05:19):
like you run out of space. You run at a time,
you're not the ability to do things. I throw that
out immediately. I think Magic Kingdom's way to go for me.
You can you can always pop into like some of
the various like attractions that aren't so popular, even the
one that spins around the I can't remember, the great
big beautiful Tomorrow carel Progress Progress that thing, Yeah, the
(05:39):
carousel of Progress. You can pop in there. You can
go take a nap in the the one the Fantasmic
or no, it's called what's that one.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Called film magic three da.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Since I've been to the parks. Okay, all right, don't
give me a hard time.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
You could also be in a show like you would
I were.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
It's true, you could. You could go to the Bell
Show and end up being Yeah, storytime with Belle.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
It's funny. There's no like. We were both in that show.
But there's no picture proof of that.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
We didn't get pictures from that.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
The pictures that I've seen, it's just me. It's very weird.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
That's right. It get gout of those pictures, didn't I monster?
Scott and I for once, once ever, we participate in
something not only together, but it's photographed. And once he
do he crossed me off for social media, you son
of a gun?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
On my personal account? Did I do that? I think
on the show's account, it's both of us.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
He's like, for the public, they can see you, but
I don't want to see you in my own private world.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
And my I don't really want anybody to understand that
they associate with you.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Mind you. That was the day that we planned an
entire evening around one member of the show.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Oh my god, stop stop, we cannot do this again.
We're gonna bring this up as much as you bring
up swine flu, Jimmy.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
My answer though, is Epcot okay?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
And and why do you choose Epcot.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Because there's almost always a festival going on, especially at
the busiest time of year. So even if foods, even
if like restaurants in walk up places are busy, there's
the stands.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Okay, Yeah, it's a good choice.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
And big walkways there, which I think help on a
busy day you don't get log jammed very easily.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
That's true. Yeah, I would not walk in front of
the castle on that Magic Kingdom on a busy day
because that is like the seventh layer of Hell.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
And they have a good mix of rides there, like
and even like I love Figman in Living with the Land,
and those are still usually on the busiest day, a
twenty five to thirty minute wait, you.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Can still manage to get on them, That's true, exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
You know, I'm gonna have to disagree with Living on
the Land because that seems to be like having like
a renaissance, because it is always jammed.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Whenever I go on all these hipsters with their vegetables,
they want to go see how to plant stuff and
grow things.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
I want to know where telapia comes from.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, hybrid to Yeah, yeah, they're like jammed in there
like a New York apartment. I'm going to Uh.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
I would go with Discovery Cove only because they have
a capacity cap.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
That's very cheating. That's a that's a sea World the park,
and I like the resort pal we can't afford that.
That's like going on a cruise. We just booked a
cruise like two days ago, probably about the same as
Discovery Cove. No, Discovery Coat was infinitely cheaper.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
I guess it is like last time we went to
Discovery Cove, like we went, you know, we walled out
and I think it was like five hundred bucks.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
This cruise, well, yeah, this is great on Black Friday too.
We should mention that you can get a great Discovery
Cove around around that time of year.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
I changed my I changed my answer. Disney Springs Ee,
why would you want to go to this?
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Oh my god, he was just kidding.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
I mean really, I want to say like Volcano Bay
and I can just float.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah, but you know what the problem is. I've been
to a water park on a super busy day, like Aquatica,
and the water is so warm, and hopefully it's just
from the warm body, from the bodies, it just kind
of gross and like and people are like, if you're
in like the lazy river or the fast lasi of
the river, everybody's just touching you and it's just it's
a lot on a busy day, Dickerman.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Just so you know, there's enough chlorine in there that
as soon as it left your body it would like
basically kill it.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
So you're not really swimming in I know, but the
warmth is just it's it's off. Next question, are you
are we gonna accept his answer? Are we gonna accept
that that answer of.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Uh, break Judge's ruling. Yes, It'sniverse. It's like his anniversary place.
I can't. I can't.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Like it's a good spot. I would love Toyoda one
of these days, I'm gonna go.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
September is twenty years with Lauren and Jimmy and we're
going back to Narkusi's at Grand Filardy where it all began.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Are you more excited for the rides of food or
immersive lands of Epic Universe.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Okay, at this point for Epic Universe, I've I've decided
I'm just getting a way outside the park until i
see somebody I know, because literally everybody I know has
gone to the park now except for me.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Okay, well I'm going this weekend. So what are you
most excited for? Uh?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Immersive way, Yeah, I kind of want to say immersive,
but I love the I'm gonna go rides. I'm really
excited about the immersive experience and really entering into this
whole world in these various worlds. But these rides have
been reviewed so well by the many people besides me
that I've already gone to the park. Uh, I'm just like,
(11:05):
I'm ready. I want to see this. I want to
see the Mario ride. I want to see this, Uh,
this roller coaster that everybody says is a game changer.
Start us in Uh, start us flyers. Yeah, that thing
is supposed to be a racer, so start us racers. Sorry.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
And Monsters unchained.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Monsters unchained. And then you've got the new Harry Potter
ride too. You've got the Ministry of Magic. I mean,
there's going to be so many great rides, and this
is all next level stuff. You know, we're not getting
fast and the Furious two point Oh we learned from
that experience and we're getting like, you know, top notch rides.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
Well, the Mario Card's got an ar helmet you got
to wear. So I'm dying to.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
See what this is like augmented reality.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Yeah, he was thinking, he's like our beast they have
as we've got the.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Right ends in an Arby's. I mean, I just give yop,
just an army.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I was when I texted you guys, And yes I
was a little bit snarky. What I was like, Look,
it's concept Earth, that is real. I really want to
see what this whole thing looks like in person.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Yeah, for real, Like you know, like when it's I
want to see it in the day. I want to
see it at night. I want to see the change
that happens, you know, when the sun goes down all
the things.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Yeah, you know, there is something special about Pandora when
the night and when the sun goes down, and it's
like there's only such a small sliver of time to
see Pandora at night.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
With Animal Kingdom, I've never seen it that nice for
a while remember, yeah, they used to keep that open late.
And then they're like, they even like redid the Safari
so it confused the animals. You remember that when they
like redid the things to you know, confuse them as
far as how sundown was going or whatever.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
They did something with lighting to like not totally disturb them,
but still make it so that you could see what
they were up to.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
It's like a weird daily saving time for animals.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Do we do? We have ID is about how late
they're going to keep Epic Universe open because I, you
know me, I love a theme park open till midnight.
I feel like this thing should be open till midnight
for like the next two years.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
I don't believe that they have publicly stated what the
hours are yet.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Bro, you haven't been able to make it to midnight
at Halloween horonights? How are you gonna do that on
like a regular park day.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
I could do it. Do it if I get an
annual passion. You could show up at seven pm and
just you know, hang out as long as you want
and then bail. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Looking at the Universal Orlando Resort app, it doesn't even
list Epic Still on the.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Operating hours you and I both know you can't have
caffeine after five o'clock otherwise you're gonna be up twice
during the night peing.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
It's not the beings that I can't fall asleep caffeine
after five o'clock. But you're right about that. But I'm
gonna put it out into the world right now. I
want to Epic Universe open until midnight every night for
the next two years.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Eve, And he's gonna put that out there, so he'll
just not go exactly.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Hey, even if I make things happen and I don't go,
I still made them happen, all right. If I did
eventually make it out to Sea World tallow screen two
years in a row, I'll have you.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Know, if Universe or if Disney ever did the twenty
four hour leap Day thing again, how long do you
think you would last?
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Oh? No, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Like, do you think you could do the full twenty
four hours in a park?
Speaker 2 (14:27):
No, I'd break. I'd break after a while, I would,
I would, I would break. Gim mean, when you win,
you win once, right, I did, and we got there.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
I want to say, at like eleven o'clock at night,
and I think we stayed till three and by at
like three o'clock.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
In the morning, it's busy. It's people sleeping on benches
like hobos.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yeah. I got there at like midnight one time, and
it was it was a forty five minute from the
parking toll booths to park.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
It's an experience, yeah, you know, like when we went
to the opening of gallic See, said sh and we
went for the opening of the new Star Wars Arride
when they opened it up. It was an experience and
it's something you remember and like something I got a
twenty four hour experience at you know, Disney because of
the leap year. That's like, that's something you remember for
for a long time to come. I wonder I've ever
(15:16):
bring up to you When you guys would explain it
to me. I thought it was like an annual thing
that I found out they haven't done it in like years,
and I'm like, oh, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I don't believe that they did it last year, which
would have been leaking.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
They've done it. They had done it since like two
thousand and what two, like fifteen.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
I think twelve, well fifteen wasn't a leap beer.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Yeah, so the beer only happens every four years, so
they can't do it annually.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
I want to say twelve was when I went, and
that might have been the last time that they did it.
Actual they do it again, well you gotta wait.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Three more years and you got a will and then
not go now if if if they do it, Okay,
if they do it in three more years, I'll get
past this for it.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
And we will do all four We will do all
twenty four hours.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
As long as I'm GameFly, employed and have money, I'll
get fastest. We will do. Won't be doing it.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
We will do all twenty four hours. We will do
a live show.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
We should do that. We should do a marathon show
like some sort of a fundraiser with a theme park podcast,
twenty four hours on the air straight. We'll get some
media coverage.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
We will be loopy by hour two. Yeah, I'm down though,
let's I am. I'm all on board with us. Okay,
next question, if you could have any if you could
have a small version of any attraction in your house
or backyard, what would it be.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
I want to answer this too quickly because like I
have things pop in my head right away and I'm like,
that's it. But then I'm like, well, maybe maybe that's
not it. Like Guardians of the Galaxy cosmic Rea wine
pops my head right away, like that in your house,
like having a special room dedicated to that would be.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Like you use it to go from like your bedroom
to your bathroom.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah. Well, while I haven't ridden it yet, I like
the tron light cycle run.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
That might be a great one in the house in
the backyard. I'm thinking living with the land wife is
already in the plant. I could take a nice boat
ride from you know, the house to.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
The idea though, like doing a water ride in your
backyard is a good idea, Jimmy, I mean. And then
just food, Like that's my favorite thing in the whole world, food, Scott,
Can I do? Would I be allowed to do like
a water park ride in my backyard? So?
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Could I do like that crazy river theme park ride?
Speaker 4 (17:36):
You would have to do? Uh Bombay from Old School
wild you Well, there is just Bombay without the drop
of that old thing is like episode of Jackass.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
See see me. I want I want a version of
sore In in my house. That's how I watched the
mother one.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That was the other one I was about Pandora.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Oh yeah, Well I think Soren is a more comfortable
seating position.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
But say you could say, like if you did action
movies and you could like program your screen with the movie,
like to follow it, like you know, some sort of
smart programming like forty X Yeah, like the Pandora thing
or whatever. The Rydevie who usually like moves with the
movie if there's like a big action scene.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Like it's a The Matrix two when Trinity's on the motorcycle.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Sure, I never saw it, but okay, I'm gonna say, yes,
you can see the second What I never saw any
of Matrix movies? What?
Speaker 3 (18:38):
What? What's wrong with you? Why do you know like
good things?
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I never saw?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Stop watching Landman reruns.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
It's a good show. How did that happen?
Speaker 3 (18:49):
It's like the seminole movie of the last like thirty years.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Well, I mean that's a little much, but it.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Redefined action movies for a decade.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
So you're saying I should watch it at.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Least like the first one.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Old On, We got to dig a little deeper here.
How is it you avoided it? I think I saw
a part of it once and.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
You weren't like I have to like hook me in.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It wasn't at
a gas station like how you watched Avatar, Scott, But
I think it was just like in passing, like on
an HBO pre Freak preview weekend back in the day.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
If anyone wants to join the theme Park Podcast, please
email us now at the theme Park Podcast at ihurtmedia
dot com. Jimmy and I will be reviewing the resumes.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Because I haven't seen the matrix.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Yes, I'm like offended by this.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
I mean we might have seen it and I forgot it.
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
You don't forget this?
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Bill or Bill or Bill ted int one of the two.
I don't know what to do. Everyone who ever. Keano
was like, I don't know how to process this information.
I'll watch it.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
It's like, this is why I think you're a Russian spy. Okay,
I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll I'll get
to it.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
But it came out in nineteen ninety nine. What do
you mean you haven't gotten around to it. If you
haven't seen it yet, you like.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
It's in MI cue. I'll get to it. It's been there,
it's been buried a.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Little bit, it's been out for twenty six years.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah, I might get to it by thirty. Maybe I'm
waiting for the thirtieth anniversary.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Did I tell you guys about the story about when
I went and saw The Matrix, Like when it was
brand new in the theater in nineteen ninety nine.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
It's like the second DVD I ever owned.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
We were at Disney and we were seeing it in
like one of their bigger theaters, and I was there
with all my friends and I had already seen it once,
so I knew, like this really big action scenes about it.
And it's like the climax of the movie. He's finally
seen The Matrix the whole nine years. No spoilers over here.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I haven't seen it here, Yeah you had twenty six years.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Someone's child, small child, started screaming at the top of
their lungs, like crying like a baby cries, and it
like normal parents would be like mortified, grab their child,
and one of them runs out of the theater.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Right.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
This guy is just like, nah, I'm not going I
got to see the end of this movie. And somebody
yells at to him and says, why don't you take
that kid out of here?
Speaker 2 (21:12):
He's and his response is why don't you take the
kid out of here?
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Okay, so these two grown adults have her in screaming
match over a screaming child, and the in the apex
of the matrix is wonderful experience.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
I don't want to delve too far off of theme parks,
but this is a Disney thing and it is a
movie thing too. Are you guys aware that they have
heated seats at the Disney Movie Theater? Now? What that's
what my wife? My wife is seeing a movie tomorrow
and she says they listed as the features is heated
seats inside the theater.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Is it the dining eat theater?
Speaker 2 (21:48):
No, it's one of the regular Now now, now look,
this is secondhand coming from missus Dickerman. So you know
she's not a truly trusted source at all times.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
She's got she's got to be in one of the
upgraded theaters, because I was just there like less than
a year ago to see Tron in the theater and
it was just a regular like fuzzy seats, well leather,
It wasn't recliners, it wasn't any of that.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
It was just Scott. It's got a reaction over here
if you see like right now.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
I'm looking it up in so minecraft movie, the Jack
Black movie in real real D, three D heated AMC
signature recliners.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Look at that, so we know which movie your wife
seeing tomorrow. No, she's seeing something else, is not that one?
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Well? No, I mean also what the dinahet also has it?
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah, this is great for you and me, Jim. Maybe
we can go in there with our back paint and
watch a movie.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yeah, you'll just look for the longest movie they.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Have, Diggerman. I just figured it out with the fork
and dine.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
You make sure that you've got an empty seat next you,
and you could turn the heater on and keep your
fries warm the whole movie.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Go. They can smart. You're out smart than the man.
Oh wow, I am. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Apparently my ADHD gives me a different world a different
worldview than most people, because I've had to do things
to overcome that.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yes, so if you do a long data theme but
our pro tip long day to theme park you're sore,
go see a movie at the Disney Springs AMC. Make
sure you book a showtime that is in the heated
seat theater.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
There you go, Then you're you're set. AMC does seem
to be really trying to upgrade their theaters as of late,
like wherever they can, and Disney Springs is their premier
theater in the central Florida area. There's no doubt about that.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
I just wish they would do what Regal did, because
like Regal just went through and just like made everything cool.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
They did, and actually the little one out here on
a pop kitch, I mean they just readed all the
seats in there because they kind of got messed up
in COVID when they sprayed them with lysol and they
were peeling, so replaced all the material.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
I think there's reasons behind some places not doing it,
and I think it's a capacity thing.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
I think when you go, when you go, when you
go to the reclining seats, you kind of lose a
lot of real estate.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
No, it is true. That is true. Yeah, that is true. Yeah.
