Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Is the Theme Park Podcast?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Wait podcast?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Is this all radio?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station? Anyway?

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Here's your hosts Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
And welcome into the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman. Here, there's
Jimmy D. What's going on? Phyllis? And Scott Harris? Hi, Hello,
what's up? What's now? Back in person for the first
time in quite a while, I think at least a month. Yeah,
because normally we do the show out in the Lauren
Campbell Real dot Com t Boogazebos studios, but weather sometimes

(00:39):
permits us from doing the show, that being rain and
other times just too hot.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
The last time we were here, we were outside and
I believe it was one hundred and thirty degrees outside.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yeah, and guys, Jimmy not my age. We can't be
out in that sort of temperature and you have a
jacket on and it was still one hundred and seventy
two degrees outside today.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I was not wearing a jacket that day, but I
was wearing skin jeans.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
We've never actually seen Scott wear shorts. We have we did.
Oh it happened, yeah at the theme park? Yeah okay?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Or red Hot and boom, really red hot and boom.
Yes again, I know you have like PTSD from that
those days.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Well I almost died several times, I know several times.
All Right, Well, we've got a lot of theme park
news to get into because D twenty three took place
and there were a significant amount of announcements and a
lot of them do impact us here in Central Florida.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
New bus rap boys.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
You guys.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I was so excited about these new bus raps.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
It's not bus wraps. Stop all right?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
How about this? Okay, a care sales coming to Animal
Kingdom And now I heard about this. I sent you
guys a picture and you neither of you acknowledged it.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
I thought I reacted. No, I reacted in person. I
just didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Apparently. I felt so offended.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
I apologize for that. I meant to.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
I might have been too excited to reply. He didn't
have his cheaters, so he couldn't find facts.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
But one of the cars on this carrousale at the
Tropical Americas is Cavin.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yes, that's awesome. Yeah, it's super cool. I meant to
write you back and say, oh my gosh, that's awesome.
Although it's a carousel, I'll never ride it against carousels,
children's rides. If there's a Doug in the carousel, I'll ride.
If there's a dog, that's that's morrel. That's all right.
Well we got to manifest that.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Well, right now, you can buy that carousale seat.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Oh yeah, I mean they put everything else on sale.
Why not?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
But because this is going to go on a ride,
everything's got a price.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
If you look at D twenty three merchandise, everything's got
a price and it's a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
You're not wrong there. Yeah, all right, well let's uh,
let's let's let's let's start with this. So yeah, we
got a lot of cool stuff coming. Mm hmmm mmm
mmm way okay, okay, here we go, Here we go.
You could fight alongside Earth's mightiest heroes against King Thanos.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Come on, man, why do you keep doing that?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Man?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Why do you keep.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Doing Avengers Infinity Defense recruits will travel to iconic locations
such as asgard Wakanda in New York City.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I want to go to all these places well and
fight Thanos.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
And fight Thanos. Yeah, and then while you're there, you
could also hang out with Robert Downey Junior on the
Stark Flight Lab.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Oh my god, and it's it's.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Lady j playing Tony Stark.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh, they got the real deal.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
They got the real deal with fakers here and all
of this will be happening at Disney's California Adventure.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Man, We're getting plenty of stuff here. We all. He's
just he's just trying to uh, you know. That is
a cool thing though, and it's Thanos obviously king it's
a variant. Yeah, I'm upset that they're getting that over
in California, but we still can't have it here due
to the Universal Agreement, I think correct.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Okay, how about this Peter Parker Spider Man yep, roller coaster?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Oh yeah, yep. Can we talk about the stuff in
Orlando place that's Shanghai Disney Fine, I mean, we gotta
do traveling if you want to do these other things.
I mean they're a fine. Look, we are the theme
park show in Central Florida. We are the theme park
capital of the world, so obviously we do need to
talk to the people in the other parts of the
world to go to their own theme parks. I mean,

(04:35):
you come to the source and they get it from him. Okay,
you might be sad about the Thanos thing and the
Peter Parker thing, but other people are happy.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Fine, we'll start a magic kingdom.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Okay, So.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Rivers of America.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Rivers of America. Oh does he even know what river
is it?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You should? You of all people should know about this?

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Is this over? And no, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
It's the area in between han and mansion and front
here land. Oh wait, it's that boat. You're in that boat.
I go in that boat.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah. I like that boat.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Liberty, the Liberty Bell. Yeah, Liberty Bell Yep, that's fun.
Tom Sawyers Island Yeah, oh I love.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Tom Sawyer's Island.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Well you might want to go now, No, yeah, no
going away?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
What about the suspension bridge going away and the caves
going away?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
No, your sunglasses will get their revenge.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I don't want it to go away, because where's the thing.
That's where they're putting the cars. Thing in the front,
like where the waterway is and Tom Sawyer's Island now
the back half of where the boat would take you,
that's going to be the villain's land. So essentially, think
of it this way like Haunted mansion will be like

(05:43):
the gateway to like.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Or Big Thunder Mountain.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
On the other side, yeah, like, but but that's where
things start to get like kind of ghoulish is when
you hit haunt a mansion right into Villain's land.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Wow. I did not know we were losing Tom Sawyer's Island.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, they didn't announce that part at d twenty three.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
What about the bucket?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
The barrel bridge gone two bridges.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
We're losing two bridges.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Let me ask you this though, because this is going
to be a frontier themed cars attract, actually two cars attraction.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Okay, so maybe some of that frontier stuff will stay.
Maybe the caves will remain. Probably not from a backyard.
I would like to have that set up in my backyard.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
It will be a reimagined section of frontier land. The
American West has always been about keeping your eyes on
the horizon, believing in yourself. Horizon a big thing for you,
because I know you're a big fan of Horizon. Uh.
Chapter one, I didn't see the cabin is of course you.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I'm gonna wait for it to come to TV.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
So you will be going through race cars through radiator
springs in a Frontier theme. Okay, so there's one where
you're doing a rally race through the mountains, and then
there is a kid's attraction as well.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Is that one of those ones where they won't let
adults on at all, like a universal on Flyers. No,
so we can still ride the kids.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
You can still ride it. And as somebody that has
done the Raiders Springs ride at Calipher and Adventure, Jimmy,
I think you have to. It's basically like a test
tracked sort of thing. But looking at the concept art,
it looks like it's gonna be like a trackless experience,
which is kind of cool. My question for you. They're

(07:23):
gonna be putting this in an area where there's water.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Mm hmm. How is the water going away? Yes, they're
gonna put land where the water is. Yes, you know
it's underwater right land. They're gonna build the land up.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
And I don't think they're just gonna pour like quick
crete into the water.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I mean that might be the quickest that would be
a good idea, that would be the quickest process.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Probably, but I don't think they're gonna do that. And
I will.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Say, because it's not a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yes, as some of that pays attention to theme park.
Twitter theme Park. We are not reacting well to the
news that, uh, the water's going away.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Yeah, I mean, gosh, that was that was such an
iconic spot there.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well, not only that, but it's part of like you
do need chill areas in a park. Oh Like, it's
just you kind of need to have stuff. And I
know a lot of people don't go and do those things,
but like you gotta kind of keep some stuff around.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Tom Sammers Silm was always jammed and I would go
that boat was always full people going over there.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I just know that the I know what they're thinking
in the sense that the rafts that take you to
the island aren't the easiest to load and unloaded.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Oh no, they're not.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I almost see people fall up those things exactly, so
I can kind of underste why, you see why you
would get it rid of that. I just hope they
keep a little bit of the water as like a
barrier between the two lands. Yeah, that'd be nice, but
I don't think they will.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I am so I'm so surprised Tom Sawyer's Island is
going away.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
But then we're gonna get Villain's Land as Jimmy was
talking about.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
This sounds big. This is like a big undertaking.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
And this is gonna be behind Big Thunder. Okay, it
looks like it looks.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Like that's like that's like that's like the nowhere zone.
It's like the beyond part of bed Bath and Beyond.
I don't know what happens beyond Thunder Mountain. That's like
an area where the part just ends and.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
It's gonna have two major attractions dining and shopping. Okay,
here's the thing. They didn't say what any of those attractions.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Were villain attractions. They're gonna be villain attractions.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
But everything else gotta this is what it's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
So can we speculate, like what's.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
The If you look at the concept, there's definitely a
roller coaster.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
So who do we think who do we think their
top villain?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Well, they have doctor Facilie Hey in the concept art.
Who is the villain from Princess and the Frog. Okay,
the character that they couldn't put in Tiana's Boy You Adventure, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
I don't. I don't know if that one like I
would go for like iconic, I'm thinking Malissa Maleficent.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
I saw there's probably Maleficent, there's probably.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Scar scar Fits far Yeah, I mean all those.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Kathy Kennedy, Well, I'm sure you would say.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Bob Chap that Kathy Kennedy, will there be a tip
of the hat to job Bob Chapp It not at all.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Did not in the eyes of the company, did not happen.
There's only been one Bob that's run that company.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
M M.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
That was just a bump in the road, correct, all right,
So there's two more parks in Orlando.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
They're you know Disney Parks in Orlando that they're going
to get new Land.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Well I will I will quickly say, though, but over
at Epcot Test Track three point zero coming next year.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Man, then things shut down all the time.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Well, they're redoing it.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
I know.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
That's why it's shut down.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
I feel like they redid it like two years ago.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Here's the thing, Like they busted up the concrete in
front of the attraction.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Here's the thing. Though, if it's already gonna they're already
saying it's gonna be open next year, then they're probably
not changing the right.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
They're just painting something.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
They're they're redoing it. I think they're getting rid of
the whole create your car thing.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Oh yeah, that did that did slow things, And it's
it's not going to be so tron esque inside. It's
going to be more more of like like it was
when it originally was there, with like.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
When it had the loudest queue in the world.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Yeah, because they had like all those Yeah, yes, I
remember that now. But the actual inside of the attraction,
the the cinematics that I have seen have had like
trees and things of that nature, making it look like
you were actually in nature.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Enjoy a joy ride through scenes focusing on onboard technology,
customization and personalization. Uh. You go through scenic outdoor route,
reminding us the joys.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Of driving, m the joys of driving.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Joys of driving on Fairbanks.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Have you guys been on a road trip with me
or driven down Fairbanks Avenue with me? Neither neither a
pleasant experience.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
I got to tell you, Scott one, during the pandemic, me,
my buddy, Matt and Fritz, we all went with Dickerman
to uh the Ie. I know it's not it's always
kon Park Icon Park. We didn't like a good twenty
minutes of like mystery theaters us signsitter. Yeah, Dickerman yelled

(12:02):
at us.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Like children'd be quiet.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
The thirty thousand was making fun of me and my
driving the whole time. Oh well, I drove. I should
get their respect of I was the good guy that drove.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Is this when you drove over a bunch of parking cones?

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I don't think I did. I don't think I made
any parking infractions at the tent. They're actually telling that
I snapped finally on there, telling me to turn where
I wasn't supposed to turn. I knew where I was
turning was at the McDonald's at Disney. He yelled at
us at the McDonald's driver, mm hm, I almost turned
the car around.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I mean, to be fair, nobody got ice cream. The
track record that I've learned from you is you don't
ever know where you're going.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
That is usually true.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
You parked under a roller coaster once.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
That did happen.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
He really wanted to get lost during that Halloween drive
in thing.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Oh yeah. It wasn't the greatest signage out there as
far as parking.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
It told you when and where to go. Scott and
I went together, no issues at all.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
There were some questionable turns.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
There wasn't you just followed the car in front of you.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
I was the car once. That was the problem. We
drove into a lake.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I do remember that. Okay, So you want some other
new stuff, yes, all right, let's start at.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Do Magic Kingdom. Last.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
We've already already did a Magic Kingdom. Yes, that's where
you're getting cars and villains and villains.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I'm sorry, Hollywood Studios. Do Hollywood Studios.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Okay, so then we'll do uh, we'll do uh Kingdom.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Okay. I was just there.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
So we're going to get a new land over there.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Okay, uh?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Which is where you're going to have a carousele for
for Doug.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Right, the the one. Then the Amazons, Yes, of the Americas.
Amazons of the Americas.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Aka go ride Dinosaur while you can. Yeah, America. It's
a tropical Americas.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I rode Dinosaur. I was there just for the record,
because it's going to be Indiana Jonesana Jones because movie
was such your runaway hit. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
But the other the other three are we are going
to get a fresh new Indiana Jones, not just a
carbon copy of what they have in California.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Interesting, yep, I like that idea. That's cool. Yeah. So
we're getting to Carousel and Indiana Jones.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
And the original Indiana Jones, and you're getting it in Conto.
Ride in Conto, Yes, a ride through attraction through their
famous house and the magical House.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
So we got a lot of Caitas skeletons, dancing skeletons.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
That is Coco. Oh, that's right, And that's getting a ride.
That's getting a ride in California. Oh, Coca is getting
the California. It's getting a boat ride.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
I don't did I see Incanto. My wife loved on Conto.
I don't know if I saw it. We don't talk
about Bruno.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
You don't talk about Bruno.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yeah, I know that was a really big song. I
don't think I saw that movie.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
It's got a it's got a couple of good songs
in it.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Yeah, you should.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
You should watch it.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
That one was big. I might have seen it. I
don't recall them.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
You should also just watch Coco as well.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I liked Cocoa. That's good. I loved Coco. I bought
the soundtrack Coco wast I enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
It all right, do you want to go over to Oh,
by the way, James? Very quickly, they're getting another a
different Avatar ride over at Californi Adventure.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
What that's a good trip.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, it's getting for Fire and Ash. Oh that's the
third movie.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Okay, because there's another one coming that's violent. Well it's
the Fire Tribe. Okay, because it was water in the
last one.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Yeah, I'm just really that.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Into this is turning into Airbender. Yeah, the last which
is Avatar the Last which is.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Funny because he sued them since when they made the
m Night Movie, they couldn't call it Avatar the Last Airbender.
They was just called air the Last Airbender.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Okay, let's go over to Hollywood Studios. Okay, there's nothing
new in Epcot to report other than the test track. No,
that park is done.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
They just renovated that park.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
According to them, that park is done.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Wait, they need to leave it alone for five minutes
at the walls.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
They should finish the stuff that they said they were
going to do.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
The air conditioner in the spaceship Birth again, because we
really did an AC unit in there.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Oh, can they also put something like a window unit
or something? You have one people you donated.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
No, it's fine.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Can you attach it to your car?

Speaker 3 (16:11):
I wish? All right?

Speaker 2 (16:13):
So over at Hollywood Studios.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Okay, I have nerd. I've heard nothing of what's happening?
He really, oh literally, I missed all this news all right,
I didn't see a thing.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
We are getting a new mission for Millennium Falcon colon
Smuggler's Run.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Oh, they're gonna put They're gonna flip the switch and
turn it on.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
When the upcoming Mandalorian Grogu movie comes out in twenty
twenty six, it will also be touching down at Galaxy's Edge.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Wow two years. Okay, so there'll be a.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
New mission where you can fly alongside Manduin Grogu.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
I'm I'm good with that. Like you said, since the beginning,
this should have it was supposed to have multiple options
in that just like star tours, you never know what
you're gonna get. It's like a box of chocolates.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
And now we turn our attention to the most controversial
thing that was announced.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
All right, see I didn't see this. What do we got?

Speaker 2 (17:07):
So we will be getting a monsters ink okay, door
roller coaster, oh, which has been rumored for twenty years.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
So it's finally going to happen.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
The problem is they haven't decided where it's gonna go.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
And everybody is it afraid?

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Everyone is afraid.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
What do they think that they're going to take away
rock and roller Coaster? No Muppets, Oh the muppets, Muppet
Vision three D. All right, hot take here. Don't give
a crap about the Muppets.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
But you are in the minority on this one. You
and my friend are are in the minority.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Will you I will hold your arms while he like
works the bot.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Well, here's the thing. Could we all agree that we're
going to.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, arms, arms, arms, and not let
them tear down the Muppets.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Like, we're not the only ones, We're not the only
ones doing this.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
There is another spot, and this is what a lot
of people have been talking about that if it's not Muppets,
this is where it's going to go.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
In the courtyard where you have.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
The launch bay, launch bay, the Little Mermaid and Disney.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
That's a perfect spot for it. Actually, it makes sense
over there. They're going to clear all that out and
then put it right there.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Well, the problem is that they've filed a bunch of
permits for a new Little Mermaid show, So I think
that might actually the Mermaids, but they.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Could get her to launch baits. It's pointless.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Now, yes, that's probably that's probably gonna go. Here's the
thing they have. I know, I harp on this all
the time. You have land, you should not be getting
rid of anything.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Well, we're getting four new lands or three or four
new lands. That's almost a park. Why didn't they just
build a new park?

Speaker 2 (18:42):
And I've been saying that.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
For years, the whole thing with the Universal deal. Let
me ask you this, could we place it on top
of the Galactic star Cruiser? Don't think today thinking I
cannot believe they opened that thing and closed that thing.
It's like, how did this happen?

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Hey, hey, if you really need a building that's not
being used, the NBA experience is also not being used.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
I still want to get in that star cruse. Do
you know anybody that's keys that can get us in?
And I just want to go around and look at it.
It's probably not what it used to be. Yeah, it's unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
But the Monsters Inc. Ride looks awesome roller coaster and
it's a it's a whole land like and uh, there's
talk of the Harry Housen Sushi restaurant because it's like
in the movie.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
That'd be awesome. Yeah, and I.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Know you're all on board with that.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Your favorite food.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
What it means gross.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
I'll go get a buffalo chicken sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich
and colar today. See to him, that is very exotic.
It is exotic.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
It's really not.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
They put it on a fryar and they fry the bread.
It's a grilled cheese bro it's got buffalo chicken in it.
Though it does it's really good.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
It's really it's really good.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
You can't argue that it's not good. No. Hey, I'm
the one that hacked it for you.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
And by the way, you're welcome.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
I'm what I told you about. You did tell me
that you started the other the one that started this
whole thing. Oh dude.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
There is two things that are on Disney property that
I must try. One is at All Star Resort. They
have a croissant that is stuffed with peanut, butter and jelly. Okay,
and not just like they shot it in there. They
put it in the dough and then cooked it.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
This is the first time somebody had a reasoning get
All Star Resort. Cool? Yeah, haven't you stayed it? Those, No,
I have not that's on the that's on the gondola ride.
Oh yeah, it's like the lower end, you know. It was.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
There's there called value resorts.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
That was budget. First time I stayed it like the
old Coronado. I was like, this is like an old motel.
I was so disappointed. And then I texted you the
other thing. What was it? It was that it was
it was like a panada, but it was stuffed with
something else and.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
It was smothered and it was a hand pie they
called it, but it was all over it.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
It was a macaroni and cheese handpie. Yeah, there you go.
But it's like.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
You're covered in sauce. I'm not gonna hold this.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Would get that MESSI But that's at Friar Nooks and uh.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
And I've said this Friar Nooks is an underrated thing
because it also has breakfast. If you before eleven, you
can get breakfast on them.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
They got a lot of good things at Friar Knooks
that people don't, you know, recognize that it's a solid lineup.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
The problem is they close it four Yeah, and I
don't know why.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
I don't know why. I have the restaurants aren't open
sometimes and you go to Magic Care.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
But here's the thing. So they announced all this stuff,
but they still have a bunch of stuff that's not
in use, such ass like the Stitch building. It's just
it's just empty. Do something with the old alien that
used to be an alien, right, that used to be
that used to be alien counter as well, Like do
something with that.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Why don't you just bring the Stitch thing back. It's
really popular again because.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
It's making a live action Stitch movie.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Just bring that ride back. It's a good ride show.
Whatever it was, I ride show.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
I did it once.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
That room that it was in, I'm pretty sure what
I heard was it was gutted.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, it's been gutted. The funny thing is, so they're
Disneyland Paris. They're going to build a Lion King attraction. Okay,
the concept art looks really cool. But the concept art
looks like it's from the Jon Favreau live action.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Oh no, nobody wants that it.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
But but it's based on the nineteen ninety four animated one.
It's like you couldn't have just gotten the concept.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Art, right, pick a lane, Pick a lane.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
But it's like they said in the presentation. It's based
on the animated movie.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
We don't want to talk about that other one.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
But it's just like you couldn't get the art.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Right apparently not.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
So yeah, very quickly, Do you want some theme park
attendance numbers? Because I actually saw this and it's kind
of fascinating.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Yeah, I would love to see that.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
The so some attendance numbers came out for the park.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
I don't think I've ever seen like true theme park
attendants numbers.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
So Island's Adventure second ten million people, ten million people
down ten percent, Okay, Universal Orlando, Universal Studios nine point
seven down ten percent.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Okay, nine point seven million, yep okay.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
University is Hollywood nine point six million up fifteen percent. Okay,
SeaWorld four point three million down two point five percent.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
So four point or so less than half what Universal
is doing it there Part.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Magic Kingdom seventeen million up three percent. Okay, uh Epcot
twelve million up nineteen percent.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
But then you get into Hollywood Studios ten million down
five percent.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
It doesn't feel like it when you go there, does
It doesn't feel like the credit when.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
You look at it, it's like they don't have that
many tractions there.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Yeah, they want Star Wars they have really good.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
They have really yes, I know they have a really
good Buffalo Chicken sandwich and.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
They have the Tower of Tear and their Rock and
Roller Coaster and that's Vision three D, and then Mickey
and Minnie's Runaway.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Railway and Minbufpavision three D all the Star Wars things. Yeah, yes,
in Mufpavision three D. Save it may can get rid
of that. Save It The podcast endorses saving three this ride.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Do you guys know that Rock and Rollercoaster was originally
supposed to be with not Aerosmith, but the Rolling Stones.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Oh that makes sense. They wanted ten million. Oh all right,
final thought here, swap it out for Taylor Swift. Everybody's happy.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
