Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station? Anyway?
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Hey there and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman, here,
there is Jimmy D.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
What's going on? Pellas and Scott Harris. So, Scott Harris,
it looks to me like you went to a theme
park this week. I did.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I went to Epcot for the Epcot International Festival of
the Arts twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Five aka the Figmut Festivals basically what this thing is.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Right, Yes, exactly, my festival, my.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Guy, all for you, all for Figment.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah, went on Sunday and you know what busy?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Really?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
You don't say busy, you know why beautiful weather?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Hm? Was that the first day of the festival?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
No, second week?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Okay, all right, yes, because somebody was telling me they
went recently when the festival was kicked off, and I
don't remember you know what day they went, but they said,
you know, it was busy, but rides weren't long because
everybody was enjoying the festival.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, well, the thing is what the rides were kind
of busy because so many of them were closed there
right now?
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Oh are they? Well? Test tracks closed. I don't like that,
and you don't like test track. I don't like that
it's closed.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
It's it's gonna be closed for a few more months.
I don't like that Guardians is a virtual queue.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I don't like that. I know you really don't like that.
I spies that.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
I think Nemo was thirty minutes when we got to
the park. Uh, Figmant was a thirty five minute wait.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Okay, so it's a long time for Figment Pigma's not
usually that long.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
But living with the Land ten minute weights.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Ah, it's a great one. I know, it's a great
one together. I'm sure they didn't have any of the
Christmas stuff still up, did they, dude this far out? Yeah,
they're not me. They took that stuff down already.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
But when I went to uh, Animal Kingdom not too
long ago, it was like two weeks ago, they still
had it out. Christmas carols were still playing in the park.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
All right. I gotta tell you guys, I am now
running Animal Kingdom. That's that's me. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
It'll stay up till till March. Can you fix the
yetti for Expedition Everest?
Speaker 2 (02:12):
No, but I can hang a string of Christmas lights
on him if you like.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Okay, I mean, honestly, you should just do that.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
And they'll go through July.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
And if you have him like flash, I feel like
that will give the effect that he's moving.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Maybe.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, I mean, could you just like maybe, I don't know,
you know when those Star Wars spinny things that they
sell at the fireworks time, Just go up there and
like stick one in his hand so at least there's
some kind of motion.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Just rattle him.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Just put like a a like one of those massage
guns up there so it shakes around.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
A little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Okay, idea, you're in charge of this. Can you just
get inside the suit and move it yourself?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
No, I'm in I'm in charge of it. God No,
I don't have son of a gun. Son of a gun.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
But yeah, so I went and I'm gonna I can
run through the things that I.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That I ordered.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Okay, Yeah, you see you had alcoholic beverages or foods.
Go to the sweet stuff. I want to hear about
the sweets.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Well, it's the.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
First, I got a the frozen French martini from France.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, that sounds franchi.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Which there was a family in front of me that
ordered eight of the chocolatees cargo.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Ew, that is disgusting. What is wrong with them?
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah? It was like a whole family, kids and everything.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's like also, can I just say, have you ever
had scargo? Absolutely not and I never will it.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Snails, bro, you're such a Childnail you want me etnails?
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Do you want me to read you the ingredients?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Please?
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Chocolate and moose of flowerless cake, citrus cooley almond chocolate
coating and a dark chocolate decoration. What do you know
what you don't hear in that?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Snails?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Exactly. It's a dessert item.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
So there's no snails. Not a mess. Okay, I'd eat that,
then you wouldn't. Does it look like a snail? Probably? Okay.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Can I just say though, if you're getting in line
for food or drink at Epcot or really any place
and you're a family of like eight.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Just send one, yes, just send one or ready two
in case you need extra hands.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Or have them wait by the end where you pick
up the food. Another good point, it's just backing up
the line.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
And if you're a family of eight, please do not
stand shoulder to shoulder, well, or you're just gonna take
up You're gonna block the entire walkway, or don't.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
If you're in line together, don't spread out where you
take up a whole section of the line.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Honestly, I don't mind that because that just means one
order and they all just go right through the line
and it speeds everything up. But it's like, I just
want to I just want to get through this.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
And at one point I was in direct sunlight, so
it was beating down on my face.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I'll walk right in between him when they're shoulders shoulder
blocking the path and I just walk it right in between.
Break up the entire family. Well.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Also at one point the dad and one of the
daughters starting to get into an argument.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Oh that happens a lot.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah, And all I could think is I wish I
had had.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Phones to pop in. Yeah, I don't want to hear.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
This, okay. Were in the Encanto Cosina in between France
and Morocco. Got the chorizo in potato and Panada sounds good, delicious,
and the spicy ahijo soup, which, considering it was in
the sixties, best.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Soup I've ever had.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Okay, spicy, had a bit of corn inside of it.
It was it was so good, it was delicious. Okay,
um didn't get anything. Actually in Morocco Japan the line
was too.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
I'm convinced nobody buys anything in Morocco. The food's always weird.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Uh, you don't like kebabs?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
M I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
You don't like avocado, coconut custard tart?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
No? Do you like hummus?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
No? Okay, then yeah, you look at me like I
like hummus, then you probably don't. You you probably wouldn't
like it anything. How about this? I didn't get this,
but I thought about you and I saw it. The
cotton candy funnel cake. I tried that, topped with powdered sugar,
vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, pink and purple sugar dusting
and cotton candy crunch.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Yeah, you know what it is, dickman, I think diabetes. No,
you don't like fresh food. You only want like highly
processed garbage.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Now, don't get me wrong, I like highly processed garbage,
but I do appreciate fresh last fresh thing that you've
eaten chicken fresh chicken chicken breast like.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
You just you found it, chicken killed it.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Killed it. Yeah, and no, no, as fresh as I
get as a chicken breast that I have to cook
from raw, that's as fresh as it gets.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
But like you did get it for the freezer section.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Right, No, no from the cold section.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
You know that's pretty no, because like you go through
all these things and you're like no, no, no, and
then you're like, do you want this mountain of garbage?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yes? You tell me you would eat that mount of
garbage either? Oh no, I definitely all right, it'll be
all over my face and shirt over.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
In the American Adventure, the Deviled Egg Trio okay, which
is panimento, cheese, green Goddess, and belt.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
That's not bad. That sounds wonderful. They were all three
really good.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Then got the humming Bird Cake okay, Banana and pecan
cake topped in cream cheese, icing with caramel sauce, and
worn warm pineapple compos Yes.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Please, I didn't have any of that. It doesn't really
speak to me that much. I try it, I try. Uh.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
There was a hazel nuts more canoli that we thought
about getting. But the line in Italy was way too long. Yeah,
didn't get anything in Germany? But have you ever been
to the restaurant in Germany?
Speaker 3 (07:28):
I've gotten a pretzel there, but I don't think I've
been to the restaurant restaurants huge.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Oh yeah, I'd never been into it before that day.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, they do a performance like what every fifteen minutes? Oh?
I know that.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Yeah, the guys come out and they get the giant
like horn. They play some polka music.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
On the way to Mexico at the Mexico stand, stopped
into Norway.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Mm hmmm. Did you get a school bread? No?
Speaker 1 (07:52):
But everyone in line did, yes, And we learned an
inherent flaw in that food stand. What is it you
order food from somebody that then just relays that to
another person?
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (08:07):
What does she do?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Why can't she speed the process along?
Speaker 2 (08:11):
You know?
Speaker 3 (08:11):
That's just how they do it in Norway? Okay, that's there,
that's their process.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
No, got a boozy coffee? Okay, who's the coldrew from there?
Speaker 2 (08:19):
You've never had the school bread? Right? No, because no
one peer pressured me in together you like, have you
had it, Jimmy? No? Why have you? Guys?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Never had the school bread because nobody peer pressured us. Like,
what happened to you?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Peer pressuring you for at least a decade. You gotta
go to Norway last time I went there. They're like,
we have no idea what you're talking about. Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Then in Mexico, got the carne asada because delicious. A
croquette so delicious is their ham involved chicken churiso croquette
in chipotle salsa with chipoli, aoli, avocado, moose.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
And truffle oil. Wow, there's a lot going on there.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
A lot going on there. And then the Natila de
Maize corn, which is a corn a creamy corn custard
with caramel sugar on top.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Interesting, it was very good. I want to try that.
It was.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
It was delicious.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
At what point did you take a loan out from
your bank for all these things you enjoyed? You know?
Speaker 1 (09:13):
The crazy The thing is I had like a Disney
gift card a hundred bucks. I still have money left over.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Wow. Yeah, well done.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
So not a bad day and did living with the
land and figment.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Okay, pretty pretty solid day out there at Epcot.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
The weather is nice, people, the weather out the weather
was gorgeous.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
I saw, I saw it. One was super cold the
other week and like the crowd was the park was empty.
I'm like, let's go. Yeah, did you see any new
festival and merchandise that was just like you gotta have.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Well actually, speaking of that, went into Communicoor Hall, which
is the public you know, mockery place. It's so well
done right now when there's a festival going on.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Well, during Christmas they had the giant epcot ball that
was made out of gingerbread in there.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
So for this, it's because it's the festal of the arts.
They have all of these costumes and props from all
the Disney Broadway shows cool inside of there. So when
there's something going on, it's a great area. But when
there's not, it looks.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Like a it's cornhole. It's basically cornhole.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Well no, no, no, that's the outside park. The inside park
just looks like a mall food court. Oh okay, we're
just these empty table.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Oh yes, I have been there. I have been there.
I forgot I was there before I no longer had passes,
have you guys? Did you see like an influx of
pin traders inside the park and they were like all
hanging out inside of the outside of that one pin store. Yes,
but I've always seen that. I feel like I've always
seen though.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Oh, because I remember when when you used to have
the pin like the pin center that was right in
the right outside the ball instead of under it. You'd
see people at tables and stuff. But this has been
got like why don't they shuffle those folks over to
communic car community corps hall.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I think because there's so much, because there's like a
stage over there, they're seating over there, there's walkway. I
don't I think they're just trying to contain all of
that to one area.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
It is my gas.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
You don't do pin trading more, do you, Jimmy? Do
you still pin trade? My wife does?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Okay, I got some pins at the house. If she
needs any, she runs runslow. They may or may not
be scrappers.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I don't know. Can we trade him for a pin?
I'd better be a good pin.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I just want to see what you get for you.
It could just be like a pin that just is pin.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
No, I bet you we could trade uh thirst breaker
for a good pin. Oh.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I've got pins from the opening of Animal Kingdom, which
every once in a while, we'll bust went out and
really confused the cast members.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
What was that? Like? I wasn't there, but I got
it from my neighbor across street, from my dad who
was there, and she gave us like the opening you know,
weekend Pins. How long ago was that when that opened?
I don't know, it was like ninety something. I guess
nineteen ninety nine. I think where you Go? Was that
like ninety nine?
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:47):
That was a great year, was it? Oh? Yeah, we
were waiting for two thousand thinking it was gonna be doomsday.
It was great. Did you guys have like cars and
stuff like that? Oh? Yeah, we had cars.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Oh did you have to like wind them up? No?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Just the windows?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
What just windows?
Speaker 2 (12:02):
You a button? I had to crank them. I'm shocked
that you had windows in my car? Yeah. Doesn't it
just have like the the canvas.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Roof and then like the one for Dino.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah. And like Jimmy and I are like very close
in age, Scott is a mystery his age. We don't
know how old Scott is.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
I actually reversed engineered Scott and I know how old
he is.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Oh good, good. I want to know how you did
that I don't exactly remember.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
But here's the other thing, is like, I don't think
I ever told him because I was like, I don't, like,
I almost don't want to.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Know, you don't want to divulge it. Yeah, And now
I do know, and I'm like, oh, I've ruined it.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Yeah, I mean, you almost hired me many years ago,
so you could have easily found out.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Yeah, but back then I wasn't like, you know, I'm
not the kind of guy that's going to go look
through somebody's personnel file to figure out how old they are.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I'm good. I'm glad to hear that.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I'm going to find your address and come see you
tonight too. But yeah, that was That was my trip
to Tepcot. Sounds like a good one, sounds like solid
festival the arts.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Is it was solid, solid experience.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Now you you did have some other Ebcott news, right,
We got an announcement for Garden Rocks.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
That's Ebcot, right, yes, guard, Yes, that's the next festival.
So can we preview some of the artists that are
going to be there. Yeah, So this begins March fifth, Okay,
so that's not that far away. It's a month away. Basically, yeah, yeah,
it's this is the Flower and Garden, right, Yes, this
is Flower Garden.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Okay, yeah, because Figman goes through February twenty fourth, so
we got just about three ish weeks left of Figmann's festival. Okay,
gets the shortest one. I'm not happy about that, but
it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
It's what he gets.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
But March fifth through June second is Flower Garden, so
we got at the America Gardens March fifth through June second.
Joan to run through, I would love it. Tommy DeCarlo,
the former lead singer of Boston. Okay, air supply the
fiftieth anniversary celebration.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Wow, I wonder how many original members are in that
blue October arrow? Is there?
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Rick Springfield?
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Herman's Hermits starting starring Pete Noon.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Didn't We listen to Herman Hermit's on the show one
week and I said it was just awful, just like
god awful, terrible, and I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
I just it was one of the worst music I've
ever heard. Correct, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Thirty Special okay. Jason Chef, the former long time or
the longtime singer of Chicago.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Okay, but this is not the guy, though he's still
not the guy. He's not not the blondhaired guy.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
The Orchestra starring Elo in Elo Part two former members.
Speaker 2 (14:35):

what's up.

have They do this every year. They know what's good.

not there. Jessica Simpson. You know why they're not married?
Speaker 2 (15:20):

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Vanissa marcell Minilo.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Marcell No, yeah, I think she's just.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Know you're thinking of who Johnny Depp was married to. Okay,
fair enough, Plain White Tea's John Scata Maverick City Music knew, okay,
the Spinners, the Pointer Sisters, the Outlaws also knew Don
Felder formerly of the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, one guy, and then two.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Final new acts, Cat Empire and We the Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
I don't know either of those ones either, do I
I would know, like we the Kings, but we do.
We the Kingdom is like I feel like they had
to come after We the Kings.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah, We the Kingdom is like are we The Kings
are like local?
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Okay? Yeah? The lead singers like lives here. I didn't
know that. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
So that's all going on for Garden Rocks.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
So and you hear these names, but like we did it.
I think you weren't there that week, Jimmy. We kind
of went through a lot of these artists. We're like, oh, wow,
they did this and they did this, and some of
them are like, We're like a really big deal and
other ones were like okay.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Air Supply fiftieth Anniversary, Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
I couldn't name an air Supply song, but I bet
you if we found one and be like, oh, that's them, Okay, is.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
There a chance one of them is on an oxygen tech?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
I mean yes, you absolutely know, you absolutely know an air.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Supply song, I guarantee I do. I just couldn't. Oh,
oh we did, we did them when we did it? Okay, okay,
we did do that. Well. I guess they were on
the other music festive we talked about too. We went
through a lot of these same bands the previews.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
And it's Vanessa minnilo is.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Who Okay, all right, I guess I had Johnny Depp's
wife in there.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Should we talk about the really big news that I
dropped on you guys earlier today.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
This was devastating to me. To you, it is devastating
to me.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
So there is a report from the Wrap dot com
the Rap again this which is like a well known
like Hollywood trade publication, that Disney's one billion dollar Wars
Star Wars Hotel to be converted to.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Office space.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
No, we never got to stay there. Now, my question
for you, they could have reopened and let us stay there.
How like, obviously they're going to have to do some renovations.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Why don't leave it the way it is?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
They got NAT pods for sure. I'm just I just
want them to keep it intact as much as possible.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
My heart hurts so much for this one.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
They could have reopened it and charged like two hundred
bucks a night and had the placebook solid forever.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
It will be converted to offices for Walt Disney Imagineering.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I'm so sad about that.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Look, it makes sense they're doing. They're building all these
new parks and like new rides and stuff. It makes
sense to have an office right there close on property.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Is that the greatest failure of Disney's history is that?
Is that?
Speaker 3 (18:17):
It the starship Cruiser. A billion dollars on that and
just to close it.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I'd have to look at how much they lost on
ESPN the phone.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Oh there was an ESPN the phone.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Yeah, but I know there was an island. There's a
story about a famous Disney island. They tried to, you know,
do it as a cruise and it was not deep enough,
so they kept trying to dredge it, and every time
they dredge it, the sand just came back. So then
they just gave up and left everything behind on the island. Yeah,
but that probably was very costly, but I don't know
if it was a billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yeah, they did an ESPN phone, which which didn't so
like an iPhone or a good Well this was in
the motoral Razor days.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Okay, so like flip phone era. Okay, yeah, surprise, I
heard didn't do a phone back then. We were trying
to do everything else.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
I mean, if you look at the history of any company,
they all have their swings and misses.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
I mean, if this is a pretty big mess.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
But I mean if you look at you know, Disney
Animation in like the late seventies early eighties, it was
very much a down period. They made a whole bunch
of like animated and live action movies that just didn't work.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
I just I find this one, this one is so
perplexing to me because it is something that so many
people so deeply wanted, yet they just charged so much
no regular person could go. And they're like, all right, well,
you know what, if you guys aren't gonna pay all this,
we're just gonna close it.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Nobody gets the best they like.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
They never get it. They never tried pivoting to see
how they could make it work.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
I mean they could, they would have. I mean, it's
not that big. They would have a waiting list for
like years, but I mean I guarantee if it was
affordable for like a regular person to go. People would
have gone.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
They could have backed up on all the entertainment and
the live interaction and just made it a cool hotel.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Absolutely very quickly. Some other news items. We now have
a closing date for Muppet Vision three D.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Okay, June seventh. Wow, that's not that far off.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Um and uh Melrose restaurant Italiano will close May tenth.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
That's the family style one, right now.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
That's the family style one. So Muppet Vision three D
and Pizza Rizzo, though will close. Their last day to
experience will be June seventh.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
I think I'll be able to get that big monster
costume and the discount store.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
No.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
They Disney has since said they're going to figure out
a way to preserve the legacy of Muppet Vision three D.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
That'll just be a plaque, a plaque in the bathroom. No,
they said there was a way that you would still
be able to enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Okay, Now does that mean they put it on Disney
Plus or what I think they really should do is
if you either move it to this Villain stage after that,
because it's going to be right next to rock and
roller Coaster, which the Muppets are taking you over or
you just do a slop of Muppetvision three D in
the Monsters Inc. Laft floor. Okay, hmm, because Monsters Inc.
(20:54):
Is going where Muppett Vision is in that area, like yeah,
and it kind of stands out sticks out a little
bit being where it is now at Match Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Maybe this is why they have to have the imagineers
move into us the you're also out starre to figure
this out.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Where are we moving what.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
To possibly other very quickly, News Disney said they're gonna
do a three billion dollar increase in their capital expenditures.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
To eight billion in total for twenty twenty five. Okay,
so we're getting some new stuff I.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Mean, or they're just gonna maybe fast track some stuff
to get things done a little bit quickly.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
We're gonna get eight new Galactic star cruisers.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Just give me a give me a regular queue for it,
and I'll buy an annual pass again.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah, but unfortunately the only way to get in virtual
queue and you got to eat an s co s
cargo with scale snail in it.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yes, it's disgusting.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Also, summer twenty twowenty five, we're getting The Villain Show
at Hollywood Studios. We're getting a new Little Mermaid show
in the summer. Uh, probably sometime in the summer. Rock
and Roller Coaster will.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Reopen with a new imagination. It's it's gonna be all new.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Well, at some point we're gonna, you know, get it
re themed.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Oh yet not yet. Oh, we haven't designed that yet.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
And there's a rumor that Bluie will be making an
appearance at Walt Disney World sometime the year.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
I could see that. I think's pretty big.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Right, it's like the most popular children show in the world.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Okay, have you ever watched it? No?
Speaker 3 (22:18):
No, no, I'll tell you what. I'll watch Blue if
you watch Banshee, when is.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
It like a heartwarming thing and the other's not?
Speaker 2 (22:26):
No, it's not at all. But you said, my Banshie
guy's gonna get a Star Wars movie, so.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Well, everyone gets a Star Wars movie. Then six months
later they lose the Star Wars movie and might just
need a dust up on him, you know. Oh and
very quickly. Mega Con is a week from that's right, I.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Mean meg Con is right around the corner, and they
have a huge lineup of people coming this year.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Yeah, Jude Law, Millie, Bobby Brown, Mel Gibson, Ron Howard,
Bryce Dallas Howard, Clint Howard.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
That's a lot of Howard's.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Almost every person that's played Superman is going.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
To be there, unfortunately, not the one that everybody wants.
Chrisopher Reeve. Yeah, yes he is. Unfortunately so is George
Reeves and so is George.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Ree But Nicholas Holt, the new Lex Luthor, will be there.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Okay, I mean they go. It's a big it's a big,
big crowd this year. So, I mean they've got some
really good stuff. Elizabeth Shoe, Elizabeth she's going to be there. Yeah,
she's in Karate Kid. Yeah, she was in the Boys
and a number of other things.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Marina bakerin is going to be there.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Oh, I like her. She's in Deadpool and many uh.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Tim Daly, Dean Kane, Dean Kane, former Superman himself. Yes,
uh so yeah, everyone's going to be there.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Okay, yeah, so uh this a week from this weekend? Yes? Wow?
Speaker 1 (23:45):
And also the little elephant guy from Skeleton Crew, the
kids from Skeleton Crew.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
The entire cast of Skeleton Crew pretty much okay, and I.
