Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
So my office is already and it's not even seven am,
going crazy over this rumored Skyline ice cream collab at
Kroger or something.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I have no idea what they were talking about, but
I opened the doors to the office this morning and
they said, would.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You have would you have the Skyline ice cream? Hold on?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
hold on, hold on, Rick, come here, all right, you
come here real quick. All right, I'm so confused on
where this ice cream came from.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
But it's not available. I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Taran, Good morning, seven hundred WLW grab this microphone here.
What is this ice cream that we're talking that we're
talking about that's not available?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
It's not a thing. It is a thing.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Well, it's not available right now, but it has been
leaked onto the Kroger website of it's going to be
available for sale. But it's not available for sale right now,
but it may be or will be at some point
in time.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yes, okay, this is a real thing.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Tell me more about what the flavor profile says online.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Well, you know what, I'm actually not one hundred percent
sure right now. I just got in at six and
I'm doing my due diligence here to figure out how
in the world this is a thing, how this concoction
is real life.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I'm working on it right now.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
To Okay, so we're talking potential cinnamon flavors in ice cream.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I don't know how one would pair that to.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I was talking with our fellow news guy Rick Uccino
here and he was trying to break down what the
possible concoction would be, and he mentioned cinnamon. He mentioned that,
you know, the crackers that are with Skyline chili could
be some sort of like a kin to like a
pie crust. Oka was a personally, I thought that was
kind of a stretch.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Okay, well, but I can see it.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I see I could see that. Yeah, Okay, So I
don't know. There's a lot still to be determined. Okay,
we'll say thank you very much, Ta for coming in.
I appreciate you're here for you're welcome.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I'm confused as to who was the person that leaked
on the Kroger website, Like.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Okay, okay, Crogers on the tea.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
When there's more on that, you know, we'll keep you
posting on or the at least the boys down the
hall well at seven hundred WLW. I myself will probably
not be up to date on that one, but I'll
find someone who is coming up at six fifty. We
have the three things you need to know to get
your day started here in Cyinci.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I wouldn't go far.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
The best way to keep listening to Tip in the
morning is on iHeartRadio, Good Morning, and I hope you're hungry.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
When you need to know She's got you.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
It's three things with Ti Hi, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
We're just before seven clock on a who chilly morning.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Temperatures are cold. It's cold out there.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
My car set at forties on the way, and I
think it's in the thirties and some places. In fact,
there's a frost advisory in effect. It'll eventually bump up
feeling very similar to yesterday, but I don't know if
I'm quite ready for gloves and hat weather. Let's start
off with the Redding schools returning back to classes after
things were closed down yesterday from a false bomb threat
on Monday. Although taken very seriously, the assistant superintendent says

(03:31):
that the threat was fake and both students and teachers
are safe to return.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
To school.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Not only was it a false bomb threat, but it
included claims of water and food contamination. Obviously, police came,
the Cannines came. They investigated and found the claims to
be false. But things are safe to return as of today.
Second in three things you need to know this morning,
let's chat about the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I had talked about it yesterday and I took the.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Time to watch it live on TikTok last night, and
I think it was also available on Instagram and Amazon
Prime if you had watched it too. It's one of
those things that I remember, like really loving to watch
with my girlfriends in college. Taking a big break back
in twenty eighteen is the last time that they had
done the VS Fashion Show, and I think at that
point it made sense for them to step away from

(04:19):
the runway because the world was changing, you know, our
expectations of women were changing, and I was curious to
see how they were going to execute that last night.
You know, I will say that there was race diversity,
there was some age diversity, which I felt was new
for them as well. Definitely more body diversity, but that tall,

(04:44):
Victorious Secret Thin angel was still the highlight of the show.
There was no abilities diversity, and I can't quite say
if there was any gender diversity in that one.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah, I think.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
That when they took the break as and Rihanna and
Savage Fenti really hit the market with a fashion show
that was, you know, more representative of the people that
we see in our everyday lives. And Victoria's secret still
kind of hung on to that big glamour, tall thin
supermodel like the typical angel they they had. They held

(05:21):
onto that although in a lot of the press interviews
leading up to it, in the red car I'm sorry,
the pink carpet leading up to it, they kept saying
they just want to embody confidence with women. Some star
celebs for sure. I saw Cardi b in the audience there.
As far as models go, Gigi hadid opened the show
and I was curious to see who was going to
do that.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Bella had died just about closed the show.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
But the real true closer was Tyra Banks, and she
came back in a really modest outfit. She was wearing
a full legging and a cape like no Wings. No Lingerie.
Share performed Adriana Lima Alissandro. They all were back, all
the angels were back. In fact, Gigia had deid picked
up some of her moves from Taylor Swift, her best feat.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
Yeah, there's something on the runway tonight that is new
for at least me on this runway. I can't remember
if it's ever been done on the BS runway, but
there's an aspect to it that I was trained to
do by Taylor on her tour.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
I mean that way in one of.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Her rehearsals, she was like, I'm gonna show you how
we do this. Did that and now I'm using it tonight.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, and she did.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
She did use the signature Taylor move, which is the
one with like the leg in the arm in the air.
I tried to google if there was a name for it,
and there wasn't. I think the girlies are mostly just
disappointed that Victoria's secret got rid of their swim line
for a while.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I think it has officially made its way back, all right.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
And then, lastly, in three Things you Need to Know,
just because I talked about Taylor yesterday, she did end
up making an announcement it was not the Reputation album.
I think that was the rumor that it was going
to come out this Friday, but right before she returns
to her US dates in Miami this weekend, she is
going to continue to cash in on the Errors tour
by releasing a book documenting performances around the globe, along

(07:03):
with the CD vinyl edition of her latest album at
the Tortured Poet's Department. The anthology and all of that
will be available exclusively at Target on Black Friday. And
that is three things you need to know for the
sixteenth of October. Coming up at seven twenty, I want
to talk about Halloween decorations. Okay, have you had a
problem with Halloween decorations in your neighborhood? Has anyone ever

(07:25):
stolen your Halloween decorations? Are you kind of a cranky neighbor?
I have no judgment if you're terrified of this six
foot skeleton or twelve foot rather and you're like, I
don't like this. Good talk back with Tiff. Get it
a jump on it search iHeartRadio. You'll see the microphone
right next to the play button when you tap on
Kiss one oh seven one there.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
And the reason.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Why we're talking about this is there's a video going
viral this morning about some Halloween decorations that were stolen.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I'll have that more next you're waking up with fifth
in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Hi, kiss one O seven one, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
We're gonna talk about Halloween decorations. Is there a problematic
house in your neighborhood that's just gone a little too
far with the decor now?

Speaker 1 (08:08):
You know, it's usually it's fine, it's fine.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I might just be feeling a little salty this morning
because in my neighborhood, my neighbor has a dog that
we typically take for a walk every night together and
you know, chit chat and catch up and get some exercise.
And there's this one house, this one house, and I
should know it's coming every time because we've walked by.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
This house quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
But it's got this scare chrome that's terrifying, and anytime
it's motion censored, So anytime you walk by it, it
goes off and makes this like horrible noise and says
whatever it says, and the dog goes crazy and I
go crazy, and we're just like, ah, it's.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Not my season.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
However, you know, I get it there, everyone's gonna you know,
everyone's got their own thing, but it just it it
terrifies me every time I walk by it and the
dog gets scared too. So I came across this video
about this, actually from an account I still follow from
back in Massachusetts. This woman's Halloween decorations were stolen, and

(09:11):
I'm gonna warn you right now that the accent's pretty thick.

Speaker 7 (09:15):
Like they took my hocus Pocus, my buzz light.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Year, and they ran.

Speaker 7 (09:20):
So I got in my cat to go see where
they went. And when I went on the next street,
over all my stuff wasn't the one bushes.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
First of all, I think that when I say that
I'm originally from that area, people expect that I'm gonna
have that same accent, and I don't.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Hopefully I don't. You know, maybe if I.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Have a couple of adult beverages or I get really
angry about something, it might come out a little bit,
but not like this.

Speaker 7 (09:46):
Got in my cat to go see where they went.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Poor woman, they stole her ocus Pocus in a ca
She had to get in a car and go to
the thorn bushes. But I'm curious as to what's going
on in your neighborhood with your Halloween decks. Des Now
that we are officially two weeks out, exactly from trick
or treating and all the Halloween decorations that should be up,
that are gonna go up, should be up by now.

(10:13):
Is there one house in your neighborhood? Just because I'm curious,
maybe I'm alone in this that has that one that
you're like, Okay, I don't love it.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I do not love it. Five win three seven four nine,
one oh seven one.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Or you can talk back with Tiff when you search
kiss on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
The microphone's right next to the play button.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
Got in my cat to go see where have they went?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
We're circling back on the Halloween decoration topic here in
a hot second, but in less than an hour around
eight twenty this morning. I have a jewelry expert coming in,
a rolex expert, to be more specific on whether or
not I have stumbled upon my inheritance. When I cleaned

(10:58):
out my dad's house, I found a bunch of Rolex watches.
I'm not kidding, and I'm like, wait a minute, aren't
these worth money? So I have an expert coming into
appraise them live on the air. If you're a visual person,
maybe you love rolexes, or maybe you're just curious search
at the Tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard and
determine whether or not these are real or fake.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Get your guesses in Okay, all right.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
We're in the midst of talking about Halloween decor I
might be I will take responsibility for this one because
I was just curious. I was floating it out there
in the ethosphere of the Tiff in the Morning crew
on whether or not there is a house in your
neighborhood that's just like slightly problematic with their Halloween decorations.

(11:43):
I had given the example about the one person in
my neighborhood looks cute, but they have this scarecrow. Every
single time I walk by it at night, it scares
me and it sets me off. We also talked about
a woman who's Halloween decorations were stolen. This video has
gone viral. You'll clearly you can tell that this woman
is not from here. But here's a clip again if

(12:03):
you want to revisit.

Speaker 7 (12:04):
Like, they took my Hocus Pocus, my buzz light Year
and they ran, so I got in my cat to
go see where they went. And when I went on
the next street, over all my stuff was in thorn bushes.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Oh not the thorn bushes.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
I'm just looking for every excuse I can to play
that clip because, for obvious reasons, it's funny. All right,
let's check your talkbacks on this situation.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Thoughts on the neighborhood. I have anybody to talk to
you about this.

Speaker 8 (12:32):
So here I go.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
I can't stand all my neighbors Halloween decorations.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I don't care about your skeleton.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I don't care.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
Like every time I walk by.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
The little graveyard setup, it makes noises.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Like I know we're supposed to go ooh, so great.
I'm so annoyed by all of it, and it's just gross.
I can't wait for Halloween to be over. I know
that makes me enemy number one with everyone, but I
really hate Halloween.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
You know, to each his own, it's fine. I it's
the noises. The noises always get me. The noises get me,
all right?

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Coming up?

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Oh, one more thing on Halloween, one more thing, one
more thing. The Smile to movie is coming out. I
just saw some of the you know, remember when that
original Smile came out and you would see the people
and all these viral moments. They were sitting I think
behind the Yankees game last night, behind home plate. You
could see them. I think that comes out this weekend. Okay,
all right, coming up two songs from now. How much

(13:28):
does a breakup cost?

Speaker 1 (13:30):
You? Get a number in your head. We'll talk about
that next sh you're waking up in the morning. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
We're about halfway through our commercial free hour, and I've
got Christina Aguilera Genie a bottle on the way here.
But we're in the midst of talking about how much
it costs to go through a breakup. Now I'm talking
about emotional tax. I'm talking about the your Apple pay,
how much money gets swiped with and let's say an
oh most year long period after you break up with someone.

(14:05):
I came across this Pop Sugar article and I caught
my attention. I was like, well, I bet, I bet
our tiff community would really like this. I would say
it took me closer to two years to recover from
my breakup. So, and you guys know, if you've listened
to the show before, I was with the finance guy
for a long time.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
We were you know, eight or so years.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
We met in Boston, and then we were long distance
for a long time when I moved here, and then
our lives just went in separate directions, so you know
it came to an end. So we're talking not like
we're not just talking about like bills and such when
you split up with someone, so that's like a different cost.
But the money that you spend on yourself to help

(14:45):
you recover from a breakup totaled almost fifteen thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Within a year. And I'm wondering if you've gone through
a breakup.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
If you're like, actually, yeah, here's some of the cost
per breakdown. Depending this is a kind of more female focused.
So guys, I'm curious to see what your thoughts are
on whether or not you spent money on some of
this stuff. So beauty treatments girls who typically would redo
their hair or you know, get botox or whatever, four

(15:19):
six hundred and twenty one dollars, A new wardrobe five
hundred bucks, which I could actually see those being swapped.
You would spend more money on a wardrobe than maybe
beauty treatments, depending on what you wanted to do. Therapy
was about thirteen hundred dollars. A gym membership fifteen hundred dollars.

(15:40):
Kind of depends though, on what your style is.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
You know what you like.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
If you're a runner, then obviously that doesn't really cost
a lot of money except for maybe signing up for
the Flying Pig or the Queen Bee or something. But
if you're a studio workout person, then I could see
that totally, and maybe you.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Go to more than one fitness class.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
You gotta get not just the revenge body, but it
also keeps your mind focused on something else.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
There's two more travel.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
When you break up with somebody, you have the urge
and the itch to travel to get out of here.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I remember going through this. Do you remember we.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Spent a whole week talking about whether or not I
should spend one thousand dollars to go to Las Vegas
for twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Did I end up doing it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
So I could see why it would cost almost seven
thousand dollars worth of travel in a year to get
over with somebody. Live music slash entertainment somewhere around five
hundred bucks. So we're totaling around fourteen thousand, seven hundred
and sixty four dollars to recover from a breakup between
an eighth month and a twelve year twelve month period.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Do you agree, yes or no?

Speaker 2 (16:42):
I want to know before we get to three things
coming up around seven to fifty ish this morning, how
did you ever spend ridiculous money on a breakup with somebody?
Is there one item that you bought, a trip that
you went on. You don't have to regret it or not.
I just want to know, did you spend ridiculous money
when you broke up with somebody or you were broken
up with?

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Five?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Win, three, seven, four, nine, one oh seven one. By
the way, speaking of money, I mean I don't have
fourteen grand for you, but coming up at nine oh five,
I do have your chance to win a thousand bucks.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Wow, that was high octane. That's a way to get up. Hi,
good morning.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
We're in the midst of talking about money that you've
spent on yourself during a breakup.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
I had read an article that it costs.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Fifteen thousand dollars in a like an eight month to
a year period with a breakup. But the money you
spend on yourself with clothes, therapy, trips, vacations, et cetera,
et cetera. Hi, good morning, what is something that you
spent money on? You're on the show, how are you?
I'm well, it's good to hear your voice. Thanks for calling.
Have you spent money on a breakup? I did?

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeh okay, yeah, what do you have for me?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
I spent about I would say three grand on a
ring makeover, like my bedroom, so hy read everything.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
In my bedroom.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
That's a good call.

Speaker 8 (18:03):
Like everything.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
You didn't have any regrets?

Speaker 7 (18:06):
Right?

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Oh no, no, it is my peace room.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
It's what I call it now like I go to.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
To just like be impressed from everything.

Speaker 9 (18:18):
So no, no regrets at all.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Oh good, Okay. I didn't even think about.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
A homemakeover, right because especially if you live with that
person and you know you've been in the space together,
you definitely need to spend money to reat vamp it
up a little bit.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
That's a good one.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Yeah, yeah, because we created that space together.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
And they're like, you can't just paint me out.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
Of your life.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
And I said, oh, w watch me.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Why what what's your name? What neighborhood are waking up
with me in this morning? My name is.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Julienne and I'm from Cuffington.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Julianne, thank you so much for the call. I appreciate you.

Speaker 9 (18:50):
I've never told anybody this before, like anybody in twenty fourteen,
during a depressive episode. I spent eighty seven dollars on
candy crush.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
All right, coming up next, we're going to dive in
three things you need to know to get your day
started here in Cincy.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Let's talk about Blink.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
It's three things with tip on when I was seven one, Hey,
good morning. Coming up at eight thirty, I have your
chance to win Dane Cook tickets. Don't go far. Let's
talk about Blink.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I went from like loosely committed I'm going to go
check it out again this year to now feeling very
locked in and I feel like I want to try
to hit every single thing. I've done a one to
eighty on as to like what my energy is with Blank.
But the press conference kicked off yesterday. Here's a clip
from seven hundred.

Speaker 10 (19:48):
Ever since it was first held in twenty seventeen, Blink
has expanded beyond downtown Cincinnati in twenty nineteen and extended
across the river into Covington, and this year Newport will
have his own featuring art and light displays. Secutive director
Justin Brookhart, there's so much.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
To see a Blink.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
I know there's a there's an urge to see everything,
to rush around the city. It is only four nights,
but just take a minute pause, reflect, plant your feet
and really take in the work that these folks have
put together.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
A k I'm locked in. I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Okay, So I think tonight, if you're part of a
run group or if you're a runner, I think there's
a few different Blink runs happening tonight.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Then the parade kicks off tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
We've got Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday to hit the different zones.
This is how they've kind of broken it down for
this year. More than eighty installations covering more than thirty
city blocks. Okay, gotta wear the sneakers. It's best to
commute on foot. But if you do have to get here,
I believe public transit is free, and our metro system

(20:48):
and the one on in cinci In and NKY they're
pretty solid. They've broken it down into six different zones,
so you've got the Finly Market Zone, over the Rhine Zone,
Downtown Zone, the Banks Zone, Covington and for the first
time Newport.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
I'm gonna do I think I'm gonna do otr On.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Let's work this out together on Thursday, and then Kentucky
on Friday, and then just see where my life takes
me on Saturday, and then by Sunday, I'm probably gonna be.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Over it all right.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
There you go, lots of lots of people, you know,
lots of people. Lights and people in darkness tend to
cause like car accidents, so just.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Be very aware if you are driving around.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
I can see it now, like Central and Liberty Street
just being like a nightmare.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
All right.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
I had covered this in the last hour, but at
Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
You know, was set to make an announcement.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
And this is probably old news to you at this point,
but just in case you didn't hear, she's dropping a book.
She's got the aras to our book coming out Black Friday,
teamed up with Target. Also some vinyls for the Tortured
Poet's Department, the anthology. She's just doing her Taylor Swift thing. Ah,
kicking off Miami. This going this coming weekend. You'll have

(22:06):
to let me know if you go. And then followed
by Indian guys. That's kind of it feels like that's
gonna be it. From Taylor. I don't know if we'll
see any more of the Airs tour. I don't know,
like the end of a literal era. The rumor was
that she was gonna drop reputation this weekend. She keeps
swearing all the snake stuff and that's what the fans
are picking up on the Easter eggs. I'll let you
know if that ends up happening. I'm sure the Internet

(22:28):
will let you know as well. And then, lastly, in
three things you need to know this morning?

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Would you travel?

Speaker 2 (22:33):
I like LUI should do this as a segment every
time an artist chooses to do a raise a Vegas residency,
would you travel for it? This time around fifty cent
announced his for fifteen million dollars for six shows at
Planet Hollywood.

Speaker 8 (22:51):
Whoo.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
That is three things you need to know for the
sixteenth of October, coming up at eight twenty. Speaking of money,
did I stumble in to my inheritance? You guys remember
back to over Labor Day weekend when I cleaned out
my dad's house. I came across a bunch of Rolex watches.
When I say a bunch, I mean three. Are they real?
Are they fake? If you're a visual person, at the

(23:14):
TIF two. F's Potter like the Wizard. Take a look
at him. Now, get your thoughts in because I have
a jewelry expert from Genesis Diamonds coming in. David's gonna
do a live analysis of these watches on the air
at eight twenty.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Don't go far. You're waking up with fifth in the
morning time Kiss.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
Let us have one.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Am I a rich girl? Am I gonna be rich
after this?

Speaker 9 (23:35):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (23:35):
I want to welcome everyone from Instagram Live who is
joining us from our Kiss one oh seven page. Maybe
you already got a chance to see these Rolex watches
on my page as well. If you're a visual person,
you could check out either one. I stumbled across some
rolexes when I was cleaning my dad's house out over
Labor Day weekend. You remember this. He's still alive, but

(23:55):
I was helping him downsize and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
And I found these watches. I said, Oh, are these
worth anything?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
And then we're gonna find out live today as we
authenticate them on the show this morning. David Cooper is
the vice president of Genesis Diamonds and a big sponsor
of my show, and I said to him, I said,
David I walked in that store, I said, can you
come on the air and tell me that I'm rich? David,
good morning, Good morning Tive Genesis Diamonds on Montgomery Road.

(24:24):
Super easy to navigate, and I knew going in there
that you guys don't have sales commissioned experts. So I
was like, I think this will be I'm comfortable with
going in this store, and so thank you for bringing
that same comfortable energy onto the show this morning.

Speaker 8 (24:39):
My pleasure. I'm excited to be here and help you
out to find out if you are in fact going
to be a millionaire?

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Am I a rich gal?

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Gosh?

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Shortly, let's start off with the first watch, So for
those that are following live on Instagram, go ahead and
pick one that you want to start with.

Speaker 8 (24:54):
So, okay, this is definitely special. Okay, I have not
seen this mon before in person. Off the bat, I'm
going to tell you there's a few things that pique
my interest immediately. Okay. So firstly, on the top of
the dial here where it kind of is inset with

(25:15):
the crystal of the crown. Here, the plating is wearing off. Okay, okay,
which is an immediate telltale sign for me. Okay, then
when I look at the bracelet, the construction of the bracelet,
it's nice, but it's a little inconsistent in terms of
the actual linkage on the bracelet, the tension of the boat,
the screws throughout it, and the locking mechanism. Okay, so

(25:39):
this is definitely a very unique piece. I'm excited to
see it, but unfortunately I cannot authenticate this watch as
being a real Rolex.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Okay, So no rolling, no money on watch number one,
so farwards, oh for one. Now, when you do watches,
do you have people that come in quite a bit
and they say, hey, I found this similar to me,
I found this watch in my dad's house.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Does this happen a lot?

Speaker 8 (26:06):
It happens more often than you would think. And okay,
I also want to say that there's a difference between
how people look at value and price and what something
is worth. Not everything has to be worth money. There's
sentimental value, you know. So it's you know, for us,
it's always a difficult position. If this is a family heirloom,
it's an heirloom, whether it's an authentic watch or not. Okay,

(26:28):
So it's always very touching and we like to be
very sensitive to that because it's important to everyone.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Right, You're still beautiful on the inside.

Speaker 8 (26:34):
Exactly exactly, And you know, for us it's we're we're
an unbiased opinion. I'm just looking exactly at what's in
front of me, So we have to take that into account.
But it does happen weekly. And one thing that's really
unique about, you know, time pieces in general, is they
all have a story, and much like diamonds and much
like jewelry, they have a story, a story attached to them,
and that emotional attachment makes this exchange and connection really

(26:59):
beautiful for us. That being said, though, there is the
actuality and the fact of what we're looking at.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
And I have no money and watch number one.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
Okay, watch number two, Well I pay off my college
student loans.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Here we go.

Speaker 8 (27:10):
He's on the size of your loans.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Okay, what do you think about this one?

Speaker 8 (27:13):
So this too, is a very special piece. I really
love the patina. I don't know if you can pick
that up on Instagram on the dial there, which is
kind of a fade on the inside, which I believe
is from moisture. So the locking mechanism is definitely peculiar,
not identifiably Rolex. There's no insignia Crown, but that could

(27:38):
fall off with where Okay, okay, again the links are
inconsistent and not polished to the degree of a traditional
Rolex watch. I'm sorry to say that I cannot authenticate
this watch either, so.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Coming up with the l on both rolllexes.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
So no money for me, no, but the value is
in having them right right, the family airline was beautiful.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Still have to watch I do, I do, I can
tell the time correct.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Curious though, for anyone that's listening that does come across
jewelry at their parents' house or their grandparents' house, and
you know what, like, what are some things that you
look out for that I should look out for?

Speaker 8 (28:23):
Well, first, you always obviously that if that individual is
still alive, okay, ask questions about it, Ask ask the
providence where it was bought. You know, is there a
story behind it? Is there any paperwork? Is there any boxes?
What does it mean to them? Sure be sure that
if there's any contents along with it, that you keep
that all together. It's always important, regardless of what you find,

(28:43):
to be sure it's intact and that it's secure and
that things won't fall out or break. But but it's
really give it the respect that deserves. Okay, take it
to someone you trust.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Which for me it was you. Immediately.

Speaker 8 (28:55):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
If I'm coming in.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
I like to say that if you don't know diamonds,
know your jeweler.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Ah.

Speaker 8 (29:02):
So it's just like me when I have a tooth problem.
I don't go to Google, right, I'm a dentist. You
don't go to web md. No, I don't because then
everything's a rare and curable problem.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Okay, so you the box. The Rolex box is a
big deal.

Speaker 8 (29:15):
Rolex boxes and packaging are a huge deal. They're often
you know, faked as well. But on the flip side,
you can have authentic packaging and an not an authentic
time piece.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (29:26):
You know, Rolex uses specific Pantone colors, there's specific crowns,
there's different size boxes for different watches, so it's all
really specific.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Okay, So you recommend if you do come across some
of this jewelry in your parents' house, definitely, if they're
still alive, get the facts on it. But I felt
super comfortable coming into Genesis and being like, hey, I
have all these watches, I have no idea, what's going on.
I've never even been into a jewelry store, and I
felt right at home there. So thank you so much

(29:54):
for being not just a sponsor of the show, but
for making me personally feel very comfortable.

Speaker 8 (29:58):
Well, it's our pleasure. The thing is that even if
you count the genesis and you're not there to purchase something,
is that you're going to leave with something more valuable,
which can be knowledge. We love educating our consumers about
not just what they're buying, but all the background behind it,
so that even if you leave, you're a much more
dangerous customer for somebody else because you have a good background.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Heck, yeah, I feel ready to go.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Someone said I if I ever in my life decide
to do it trivia night and they say what am
I looking for with a Rolex, I'm gonna say the
box in the papers.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
The papers, especially the papers themselves are significantly more important
than the box, because the papers will be serialized to
the serial number on the watch, as well as the
model number, show where it was purchased and the date.
The boxes do not have any serialization on them.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Okay, quickly, there's a big market for scamming et cetera.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
These days.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Before I buy anything, Am I okay to come into
Genesis and be like, oh, I think I want to
buy this, Like what are your thoughts?

Speaker 8 (30:54):
Or we'd be happy to go over all that with okay.
And we have a massive selection of luxury pre and
rolllexes too, So the odds are we already have it
there for you where you're going to be able to
skip those massive waiting lists and have that watch on
your hands that day.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
And this weekend is a big weekend for you guys
with Rolllexes Montgomery Road.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Tell me a little bit about the event happening.

Speaker 8 (31:12):
We're super excited. We're bringing in the largest selection of
luxury pre on rolllexes in the Tri Sate area this
weekend for only Friday and Saturday. Literally every model that
you've been waiting for and wanning, from the GMTS, Batman's,
Bruce Wayne's Sprites to Daytona's sub Mariners, Date just sky Dwellers,
literally everything that you've wanted but haven't been able to

(31:35):
get your hands on, We're gonna have it. And we've
got some amazing incentives with interest free financing going on.
I'm really excited to show this to the public.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Ooh okay, so come get your watch, David. Thank you
for sponsoring me.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
You might have to literally sponsor me for the rest
of my life because I picked up no money from
those watches.

Speaker 8 (31:50):
If you need breakfast, it's on me.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Thank you. Coming up at eight.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Thirty year chance to win the Dane Cook tickets and
you will need the keyword?

Speaker 9 (31:57):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Le yes up with Tiff in the morning one. Hi,
good morning. I'm really hoping you have a keyword for me.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Congratulations, Gal, you got the keyword and you're going to
see Dane Cook.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Oh my god, I'm so excited.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Where are you at the moment? I'm driving to school,
my kids to school, and me because I'm a teacher.
Oh look at that. Well, what's your name? What neighborhood?
Are waking up with me in this morning?

Speaker 9 (32:26):
My name's Faith and I'm implortant.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Faith.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Thank you so much for waking up with Tiff in
the morning every day. I appreciate you every morning. Ah,
good luck with school. And you know clearly if you
heard that the keyword was Rolex, you know that I
did not get any money from those watches.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
But at least I'm educated this morning.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
It was a nice try.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
I would have been excited too. Yeah, thank you and
thank you for the support. I appreciate you. Girl'm gonna
put you on hold. I'll be right back. Congratulations.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
If you took an l on these Dane Cook tickets,
I get you tomorrow at eight thirty. If you want
to set a reminder, we ran a little bit late today,
and then of course John John has some free this
afternoon as well.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Still commercial free coming up in a few minutes.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
We'll dive into the three things you need to know
to get your day started here in Cincy.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
When you need to know She's got you.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
It's three things with tiff On. Hi, good morning. We're
just before nine o'clock. At nine oh five.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
You of that chance to win a grand I'm sure
it'll come in handy as we enter the back half
of the year, and it comes to the free trip
to our iHeartRadio jingle Ball in New York starring Katy Perry,
New York for the holidays.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
All right, let's start off.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
With Blink officially kicks off tomorrow, although if you're a
runner or you're part of a run group, I believe
there are Blink runs tonight, but bigger, expanded, lots of
things to check out.

Speaker 10 (33:46):
With Newport now part of Blink that means more art
and light displays a checkout During the four night event,
An interactive digital map is being provided by Artswave that
shows all five zones in downtown Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport,
along with information about all the work visitors we'll see.
People can visit blank Cincinnati dot com, click maps and guides,
and scan the QR code to access the interactive map.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
This feels very Disney for me.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
This feels if I were to go to Disney right
now as an adult, I feel like this is what
I would have to do to get prepared right This
is like, we've got to look at the map, We've
got to figure out what we're going, We've got to
make the most of it. And it's split up into
six different zones over thirty city blocks with over eighty installations.
The parade is tomorrow and then you've got Thursday, Friday,

(34:28):
Saturday and Sunday night. I mean it's expected to bring
thousands of people into Sincy.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
So be aware, be aware, be aware.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
You know, I feel like lights, darkness, and people and
cars sometimes not the greatest mix for you know, you
know what I'm saying. Not everyone is very smart during
that time, so plan ahead. I believe public transit is
free and lots of access to it.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Here in SINCI and NK.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
All right, then, second in three things you need to
know this morning, I'm totally blanket.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Oh yeah, did you?

Speaker 2 (35:03):
It's funny to me that Stanley cups are the new
thing where people will lose their minds over. I can't
think of what the last item that was like that?
Was it the Beanie Baby? The Beanie Baby caused liger
like pandemonium when we were growing up, And it seems
like the Stanley Cup is the next thing. So nonetheless,

(35:25):
Target and Wicked teamed up with Stanley to release these
new cups that are came out on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I've seen some videos come across my.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
TikTok page about people going crazy over them. Keep your
eyes out if you're a big fan of Wicked. The
movie itself spent a billion dollars in marketing a billion
dollars in marketing alone.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
For the movie, which comes out in November, close to Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Obviously, Ariana Grande was on SNL a couple of nights
ago promoting the movie. I think it's gonna be the
biggest one of this season and hopefully not a disappointment
like The Joker, all right. And then lastly, in three
Things you need to Know this morning, fifty cent is.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Doing a Vegas residency. I'm torn on whether.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Or not I think a Vegas residency is where you
go to like end your career, or if it's still
just maybe like an in between point. I haven't quite
made my mind up on that one yet, but he'll
head to Sin City for a total of fifteen million
dollars and six shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

(36:32):
That is three things you need to know for the
sixteenth of October. Coming up next, your chance to win
a thousand bucks. I'm gonna pay your bills on Kiss
and it comes with atuh rip to.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I heard radio jingle Ball in New York starring Katie Perry.
