to say that millions of us are now enjoying audiobooks
more than ever before, so I thought i'd bring attention

by the name of Barbara Streisand won the top award
for her memoir My Name Is Barbara. She of course

narrated the book she wrote. Other winners included Percival Everett's James,
which won the National Book Award that took home the
Audiobook Prize for the Literary Fiction Classics category. The nonfiction
winner was There's Always This year, with the book Rednecks
taking home the fiction prize. Wop Goldberg won an award
in the Narration by the Author category for her memoir
(00:41):
Bits and Pieces, and among the winners Andrew Garfield and
Wicked's Cynthia Aarrivo, part of a larger cast that presented
a new version of Orwell's nineteen eighty four. For more
