Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome. This is the WBZ Book Club. I'm
Jordan Rich. I recently met a woman, doctor Margie Warrell,
who's written several books, including her latest, The Courage Gap
Five Steps to Braver Action. As Margie says, fear creates
this gap, courage closes it. So the book is all
about bridging that gap between where you are and where
you want your life to ultimately be. Fear is a
(00:21):
fact of life. In her very straightforward and easy to
read book, doctor Warrel offers us a series of steps
to take to close the fear gap with courage, focusing
on what you want and not on what you fear,
taking a look at the results of being too safe,
not avoiding, but moving forward and going through the pain
and discomfort till you get to the other side, using
mindfulness to grow that courage muscle. And in closing, she
(00:44):
talks about making others braver by sharing your life, experience
and vulnerability. A book for anyone of any generation. The
Courage Gap Five Steps to Braver Action by doctor Margie Warrel.
