This is Jordan Rich with the annual Christopher Columbus Holiday
weekend upon us, often referred to as Indigenous People's Day.
There's a very interesting tone I came across that tells
of Columbus's story in his own words. It's called the
Diarieo of Christopher Columbus's First Voyage to America fourteen ninety
two to fourteen ninety three, and the author is Christopher Columbus.
This is considered the most accurate printed version of his

journal available to us in the current day. Most of
it was lost for centuries, but upon its discovery it
includes notes, insertions, and canceled text, graphics and texts that
outline Columbus's navigational challenges. Of course, written in Italian, in
the language of the day, and translated and edited in
