Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, Happy Thursday. We are racing through this week.
It feels good.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
A Narcan vending machine has opened at a twice daily
convenience store in midtown Nashville. So this initiative is led
by Fund Recovery and nonprofit that focuses on recovery and
mental health.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
They've stopped the vending machine with Narcan this.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Week and it's available at the twice Daily located at
seventeen oh two West End Avenue. It's entirely free to
anyone who needs it, or anyone who wants to carry
it with them in case someone else may need it
around them. People often carry them to festivals and shows
just in case, because obviously it's better to be safe
than sorry. So if you want to go ahead and
grab yourself one, like I said at the twice Daily

(00:41):
at seventeen oh two.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
West End Avenue.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Singer Lord has officially announced her new single is coming.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Do we have audio on here?

Speaker 6 (00:49):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I'm not sure, I'll check.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
What you keep talking So no word on when she
plans to release it, but we do know that it's
called what was That Foundad?

Speaker 7 (00:58):
Here? We go seven, I gave you everything.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Now we wake up from a stream?

Speaker 8 (01:04):
Well, baby, what boast that?

Speaker 4 (01:14):
So that was a clip that she'd shared on her
newly made TikTok. So you have a little idea of
what it sounds like, a little bit what the vibe
Lord is going for in this time around. Obviously it's
been a while since we've gotten any new music from Lord,
so it's a big deal. I will let you know
when it actually comes out. And Oreos have announced a
new limited drop, but there's a catch, because you know, like.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Anything that's limited edition, there's typically a catch.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Cherry Blossom Macha thins are coming to the US in
small batches. They're thin cookies sandwiched with half Matcha flavored
cream and half cherry blossom flavor.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Good and it looks good too.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Like for whatever reason, I think because after Wicked, the
green and pink thing just vibes. They're only making a
thousand packs, so the only way for you to yet
one is to win them in a drawing. You can
register for them at oreo dot com. If you win,
you do have to pay thirteen dollars in shipping for
the pack, but the pack is free and you actually
get your hands on something that nobody else can.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Thank you very much, Ricky, and thank you for starting
your Thursday morning with us. We have more Momoa Safestival
passes on the way less than ten minutes.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
We'll ask you to call to win those right here
on the.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
George in Nashville, how you doing great.

Speaker 9 (02:32):
I'm on my way to walk in May nineteenth, my
husband's birthday.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
What then, this is perfect? This is like kismet.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I know you're the first caller of the day, one
of seven, five of the river. George, you're getting tickets
to go to Mamosa Festival.

Speaker 8 (02:46):
Who doesn't love Mimosa?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
We all do, don't we.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I mean traditional would be, you know, champagne and a
little orange juice. But I mean I like to switch
it up every once when I'll put a different kind.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Of juice in there, or something I like grapefruit, greatefruit. Okay,
you have a preference, George.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Peach nectar?

Speaker 8 (03:01):
Oh that sounds fancy.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
What's a bellini? Is that something peachy?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I think it's peachy.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I don't actually know Peach Bellini. Okay, I'm sure they'll
have something like that there, Mimosa.

Speaker 9 (03:12):
Fest, kat Waitne guys, love.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
You, Love you buddy. What what's the day looking like
for you? You're any way to work?

Speaker 9 (03:18):
I'm no way to work and join the sunset.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
What do you do for work, George?

Speaker 9 (03:22):
I'm a caterer for university here in Middle Tennessee.

Speaker 8 (03:25):
Okay, I mean you know how to cook?

Speaker 9 (03:28):
I do bro Oh, we.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Got a chef in the house. George. Did you ever
watch the show Party Down?

Speaker 9 (03:35):
No? Was it like from your error?

Speaker 10 (03:38):
No?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
What does that mean?

Speaker 7 (03:40):
No?

Speaker 8 (03:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Maybe fifteen years ago. It's a comedy. Adam Scott is
in it. A bunch of people are in it, and
it's about a catering, like a group of caterers, and
it's a great show.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
I feel like working in that space. You should watch
the show. It's very good.

Speaker 9 (03:52):
Did they feature cater waiters?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Yeah, I think I did see.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Okay, then it didn't leave a mark on You're not
memorable at all?

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Well, George, we hope you have a great day. Thank
you for starting your morning.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
You.

Speaker 9 (04:07):
I love you, guys, I do every morning.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
We love you.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
We have more tomorrow, last chance of the week to
get in my mosta festival past the same time tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Kevin's known for his dad jokes.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Whether they're good ones are bad ones, He's known for them. Yeah,
and typically your kids really love them, like they kind
of go along with all.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Your dad jokes.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
My kids think I'm funny, which is I I love
that that it's a real feather in my cat. But
I told them a joke. I made it up on
the spot yesterday. They did not find funny. I want
to run it bout you guys because I think it's good.

Speaker 8 (04:39):
Oh, okay, do you want us to be honest?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah, you're I mean, if you guys ever not been
honest with you.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
That's true the possible downfall of Kevin.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah, right after Racy Abrams, I'll tell you this joke
and you guys give me your honest review.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
On the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
River about to get real honest with heaven right now.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
It's Rickie Zacamano in the Morning on one of seven
five the River. Kevin's dad jokes are apparently slacking. Your
kids aren't laughing at him.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
I feel like I built this one up too much.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
Really nervous.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Okay, So I recently told my son Riley the joke.
It's a class that I'm sure you guys have heard it.
Why was six afraid of seven?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (05:19):
Seven eight nine?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Because seven eight nine? My son is six years old.
He loved that. He lost that was the best thing
you'd ever heard.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
So I told him that recently, and then yesterday he
retold that joke to my daughter, to his sister. You know,
we all had a good laugh about that joke. And
then I on the spot, I came up with this,
and I thought it was funny. Nobody else laughed. But
why was two afraid of three?

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Why?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Because three always had a knife with him.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
That it's a little disarmoring to the rest of the numbers.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
You put a lot of thought and effort into that.

Speaker 11 (05:52):
Huh, hey, man, drop the knife. Be cool three. I'm
really confused, Be cool three? Where did the knife come from?

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Worming?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Is the funny part of this entire.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
No need to have a knife.

Speaker 8 (06:05):
Where is the knife?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
That's why he's scary? Why do you not? Why did
nobody understand this joke. You guys to me, it's very funny.

Speaker 8 (06:12):
I still don't understand what you're trying to say.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Is it the thought of three holy a knife?

Speaker 3 (06:17):
That's yeah, because you.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Think your brain thinks i'ming to go in a direction
like the other joke, like a numeracle sort of play
on words or something.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
But no, he's just got a knife.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Like I said, are you squirming and you thinking it's
funny when it's not funny?

Speaker 10 (06:32):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Man, nobody thought it was funny.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
No, just me included.

Speaker 11 (06:38):
Yeah, yeah, it's not like your underlying thing where three
relates to knives. No, okay, So I'm not missing anything, Okay,
I I thought I was just missing it's just a
bad joke.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
I think it's just maybe over your head. So just
like a little high brows.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Sure, is there a workshop for dad jokes that you
could go to?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
My friend you're getting bad genuinely truly keeps sending me stuff.
He wants the two of us to go. Do you
stand up in an open mic night somewhere?

Speaker 3 (07:02):
So that might be I.

Speaker 11 (07:03):
Would be there in the front row support called dad jokes.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
It probably would be. We're both dads and we have
bad jokes.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Okay, thank you guys for being in a couple of
good friends here and on a sounding board for me
to bounce these things off.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I appreciate it. Yeah, no prob So that one's we'll
cross that one off list. That one's out.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Three things you need to.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Know bit past seven o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thanks
for being here. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Times one hundred most influential People's list is out. On
the list are people like Ed Sheeron, Giselle Pelicott, known
for a decision against staying anonymous inter sexual assault trial
against hundreds of men.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
You should look her up.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Simone Biles, Miles Smith, who we have tickets to go see,
Snoop Dogg, Nikki Glazer, and so many more.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
There were obviously one hundred on there.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I can't list them all, but the full list in
categories of people.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Is up on times a website. You could check it out.
Each one of them has a.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Little blurb about them, and it's written by someone else
who knows them who's also famous, so it's actually really
cool to see what everybody thinks about each other as well.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
You could look it up right on their website.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Gail King has a lot to say about those hating
on her trip to orbit with SpaceX. Her and five
other women took the eleven minute round trip from Earth
to orbit and.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Then back this week.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
People have a lot of thoughts about it, most of
which are negative thoughts.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yeah, she's not having it though.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Apparently here she is making points for why her space
flight quote unquote was positive.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Space is not an either or, it's a both and.

Speaker 10 (08:35):
And because you do something in space doesn't mean you're
taking anything away from Earth. And what you're doing in
space is trying to make things better here on Earth.
What Blue Origin wants to do is take the waste
here and figure out a way to put it in
space to make our planet cleaner. Number two, have you been.
If you've been and you still feel that way after
you come back, please let's have a conversation. Number three,
Please don't call it a ride. That is not a

(08:57):
friggin ride. Whenever a man goes up you have never
set to an astronaut, boy, what a ride? You know?
We duplicated the same trajectory that Alan Sheppard did back
in the day. No one called that a ride. It
was called a flight. It was called a journey because
a right a ride implies that it's something frivolous or
something that's lighthearted. There was nothing frivolous about what we did.
I've had so many women and young girls reach out

(09:19):
to me, and men too, by the way, men too
that say, wow, I never thought I could do that,
but I see you doing it at this stage of
my life.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Who it costs so much money to do that ride
into orbit that I don't know if you could say
it's not frivolous.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
There was nothing frivolous about.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Apparently, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
This is insane though obviously they're all trying to fight
for and say that it was I guess they believe
their astronauts.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Now.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
It's a lot, but Gail King is sticking to it,
saying that she did something good for The Eary Pilgrimage.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
Festival has announced their lineup. This is fun stuff.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
John may Or, Kings, Leon Turnpike, Troubadour is Young, The
Giant Father, John Misty, Sam Fender and so.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Many more are going to perform this year.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
The local festivals happening September twenty seventh to the twenty
eighth at the Park at Harlansdale Farm. Obviously, we love
Pilgrimage Festival here on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
The fact that John Mayer is going to be there
this year, Yeah, amazing. I'm so hyped about that. I'm
Rickie Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Thank you so much, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Let's play Chapel Roan right after Pink Pony Club.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Zach is ready, he's got a fact, Zach Spax.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
We're gonna learn together next one O seven five the River, Heiky, Zach.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Zach has already prepped us by saying that we're going
to be thinking about this all day long. It's Zack
spack'x on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 11 (10:40):
You guys just literally blew my mind. Every odd number
has a letter E in it. Really, I love that, Kevin,
that was fake enthusiasm.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
No, No, I genuinely love that. I'm excited about that.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
I'm going through all the numbers in my head.

Speaker 8 (10:54):
Yeah, every odd number has an E in it.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Well, the fact that one, three, five, seven, and nine
all have hold on eleven and eleven it's a different number.
But then after that, thirteen, fourteen, fourteen, I'm sure circuiting fourteen.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
This did blow his mind.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
It works.

Speaker 8 (11:14):
Welcome.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
There's your fact of the day, Ricky zach and Man
in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Five the River Sam Neil the actor.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
He posted a video online saying I don't even know
why he was talking about this, but that he will
never in his life use a self checkout thing at
a grocery store. He's never gonna scan the items himself.
And he said he's gonna die on that hill. He
knows he's old school, but he's never gonna use and that.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Really riled Kevin up.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Because one thing you need to know about Kevin Mano
is that he loves the grocery store.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
And I love the self checkout because you don't have
to talk to anybody. You can be fast, nobody has
to look at your items, like there's the listen.

Speaker 8 (11:49):
List buying that you don't want people to look at.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I just don't like when they comment on anything. They
asked me, oh these good, Oh what's this?

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Oh this? I'd like to just.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Leave my stuff alone.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
You're The question here, though, is one that we you know,
we talk about quite often because I think it comes
up in conversation. But do you avoid the self checkout
at grocery at the grocery store or do you like
to go to the person and have them check everything
out for you?

Speaker 8 (12:15):
I've got a strong opinion six.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
One five, seven through seven, nine one oh seven. Let
us know how you feel about this?

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Is Kevin insane?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yes? Regarding this specific topic, is this question? Do you
use them to not use them? That's our question?

Speaker 1 (12:30):
The river Heiky, Zach and Mano.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
In the morning, Lucy in Nashville, do you like to
use the self checkout at the grocery store?

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Do you go to the person and have them check
you out?

Speaker 12 (12:40):
Whenever I go to the grocery stores, I got to
get for the week. See, always gets to self checkout.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Okay, your dad is like me? Then how old.

Speaker 12 (12:50):
Are you again, Lucy, I'm thirteen?

Speaker 5 (12:52):
You're thirteen? Okay? So what if you have to buy something?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Do you go to the self checkout or do you
go to the person and have them ringing?

Speaker 12 (12:58):
Yes, I always get this, they'll check out like my dad.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Okay, okay, just like dad, just like Kevin.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yep, you're cut from some solid cloth there, Lucy, thank
you for calling.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Thank you, have a good day.

Speaker 10 (13:10):
Love.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
What I don't like is when I met the self
checkout and then like for some reason, they're like, oh,
an attendant is on the way, and then to stand
there and wait for a person.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
I just want to run out the door. I just
want to abandon all my groceries.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Mind blown by this entire thought process that you have, Brandon.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
And Nashville will do one more. Right, now, what do
you do?

Speaker 9 (13:31):
Well? I did like to self check out and tell
something really drastic happened to me about two weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Oh no, Brandon tell us, well, uh, my mom's handicap,
so she knows she rides round one in buggies, so
I follow her with a regular car.

Speaker 9 (13:47):
So we had almost two fool bullet buggies full of groceries.
There wasn't a single regular checkout open because they were understaff,
So it took me like an hour to ring all
that stuff some self checkout and bag it up. So
I mean, it's good and convenient when you got something
small and you're in a hurry, but when you got

(14:08):
two cars.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
No, I totally get that.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
If you have that much stuff, you need to go
to a regular, regular person, And that's a bummer.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
They just had none working. That's crazy.

Speaker 9 (14:19):
Yeah, I was surprised they didn't even have one single
checkout open as ever understaff.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
That's a bummer, Brandon, So yeah, and that was a broker.
I had a Kroger too. Yeah, that makes no sense
to me.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Too bad. All right, Well, thank you for calling with
that man. That makes sense.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
All right.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
You're welcome, And I do get, you know, the human
element of it. I don't want to just deploy the
human part of it.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
The only time I go to self checkout is if
I have maybe five items or something like that, I'll
go to self checkout.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
Outside of that, I want the human interaction. I like it.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
They're always so sweet to me though.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
All the people that are checking out my stuff, they
always just like, are nice and happy and excited to
be there.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
It makes me happy.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Okay, yeah, convincing me of anything.

Speaker 13 (15:04):
Where do you stand seven Nicky Zach and the morning
when you go to the grocery store, do you avoid
the self checkout or do you avoid the person that's
checking people out?

Speaker 4 (15:16):
It's one of seven five the River, Ashley from Murphysboro.
You had your kids, Haley and Ellie in the car before,
so shout out to them.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
But what were your thoughts on this.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
I actually it depends on how big of a hurry
I'm in. So if I am in a super big hurry,
I trying to pick the shortest line. If I have
just a few items, then I go to the self checkout,
But if I have a lot, then I have to
go to the cast resist And if my kids hate,
which they are, they just got dropped off at school,
they're gonna be really bombed. But they they like the

(15:49):
self checkout, which is always a situation when you.

Speaker 11 (15:52):
Have It's fun for the kiddos to be able to
like scan their groceries.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
It's a fun thing for the parents, though.

Speaker 6 (15:59):
No, no, because then they start arguing about how many
items one stand and then it's a whole big fat Okay.

Speaker 11 (16:05):
I have a serious question for you, though, because every
time I got through the self checkout, I feel like
I should get a discount on groceries. Like they're not
paying a cashier or a bad person to do this.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I'm doing their job.

Speaker 11 (16:15):
You're working that I should get a discount, like give
me ten percent off if I use the self checkout.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Well, you kind of chose to use the self checkout though, right.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
Very true?

Speaker 8 (16:24):
Well, kind of.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
I will say.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
I was thinking, I think a lot of people are
giving them self ten percent off of the self checkout,
which we do not do.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
But that is a problem.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
Yeah, yeah, I can understand that. I get it.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
I'm with Ashley, though, you picked to do the self checkout.
That's on you, Boo.

Speaker 11 (16:40):
Well the other because there's only one cash here with
thirteen thousand people in.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Line, you still picked it.

Speaker 11 (16:47):
It's my only option to get out of there in
the year of twenty twenty five was to go through
them self checkout.

Speaker 6 (16:54):
You know what I can't stand is when you're in
the biggest hurry and you get behind the slowest person
that's getting like to change.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Yeah, that's my life. That is my entire life.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
That happened to me yesterday.

Speaker 11 (17:09):
It was a struggle and then they got to write
a check and c so dratic.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
He's saying that's his entire life. But that's because if
you are not moving at the speed of light, you
are then too slow for Ketty.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
I don't like to waste time. Yeah, get out of
my way, that's me, Ashley. Thank you for calling. Have
a great day.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
Yeah, you too, have a good day, Kevin.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
You're just anxiety ran in twenty four to seven.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
I do think that's honestly what it all comes down to.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
And you would think the grocery store would be your
happy place you're there every day.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Well it is.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
It's like meditation. You don't want anybody talking to you
when you're meditating.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
You know.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Okay, I get it now, that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
We have Miles Smith tickets for the Game of the day.
Can win those next down the River the River, Nicky Zach.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Morning or Smith.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
That is the name of Kevin Mando's Game of the
Day on one oh seven five the River. The reason
we're playing Miles or Smith is because you could win
tickets to see Miles Smith about that at the Ryeman
on September sixteenth. It's a one off show. It's gonna
be fantastic. If you win, you will go.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Yes, good morning, Kelsey and Lebanon. How are you. I'm good,
We're great, We're great. You know how the game works?

Speaker 1 (18:15):
I think so.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Yeah, pretty self explanatory.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
You have two categories Miles trivia questions based on Miles
or Smith trivia questions.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Those are your two categories. Which would you like.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Miles?

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Are you sure.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Kevin's been waiting for someone to pick Smith. But if
you feel good about oh, you want to switch it up.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I don't want to pressure you Smith. You're going Smith.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
She's saying, just do it all right.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
I'm simply running out of Miles questions. So thank you. Yeah,
let the record show. This is her choice. Kelsey chose this.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Your game starts right now. Two out of three of
these right, The tickets are years. What was Will Smith's
character's last name in The Fresh Prince of Leric? Oh,
hold on, hold on, I know.

Speaker 11 (19:12):
Is it Smith?

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Name on the show was Will Smith.

Speaker 13 (19:18):
I guess I didn't ever.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Actually that's okay, totally get that, because neither did I
until I played this.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
You get this right?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
You in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's relationship began when
they filmed What Movie Together?

Speaker 11 (19:32):
Smith?

Speaker 8 (19:33):
You Miles Smith.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
It's a good thing you picked that Smith category.

Speaker 12 (19:39):
People need to just pick Smith.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
That was definitely you nailed it. You got them both right.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Great, John Kelsey, Congratulations, You're going to see Miles Smith
at the arrive in September sixteenth.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Owes, Thank you, guys, thank you for playing Miles or Smith.
Have a great day. To day and have fun at
that show.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Thank you all right, hang on three days, good morning,
Let's go scepter eight o'clock.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Actress Florence Pugh now holds a Guinness World Record for
jumping from the second tallest building. So while making the
Thunderbolts movie in Malaysia, she left off leapt off the
roof of the Merideca one eighteen, which is two thousand,
seven hundred and twenty two feet tall. Apparently, she convinced
the director to allow her to jump with the assistance

(20:22):
of her stunt.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Double because quote, it'll.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Do wonders for the press tour. She's right now, the
Thunderbolts press store is underway. Obviously, she's telling her story.
She said that the crazy insurance was kind of the
reason why producers were pushing back, but she stood her
ground until they agreed to let her do it. You
can watch her jump May second, when Thunderbolts is in theaters. Obviously,

(20:45):
right now is when the press tour is kicking off.
I haven't heard anything about this until now. So she
was right about the fact that he would do wonders.
So the press store. China founded e commerce sites like
Timu and she and are boosting.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Prices after tariff increases.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
So the plan to raise prices starting next week on
April twenty fifth, as a direct response to President Trump's
hike in tariffs. Neither of them provided details about the
size of the increase, so we don't know what to
expect just yet.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Very interesting though.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Both of them have different owners, but they had almost
the same announcement about this, So it seems like it's
going to be something that's going to be more and
more frequent throughout China for the sites that we use.
The one hundred and forty five percent tariff that President
Trump placed on most products made in China, along with
his decision to end customs exemptions. It's going to be

(21:38):
quite an interesting thing to see how this all pans out.
So this is the first of what I think many
announcements in retaliation to these tariffs that are going to happen.
I'll keep you updated though. And night Light has announced
part of their schedule for their twenty one and up
movie nights.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
These are so fun.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
They happen to buy Centennial Capital Mall Park Amphitheater. They're
kicking off the first of the season with May twenty ninth,
How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, a classic
love that movie, and then they're showing four more movies
before they announce their part two of their season.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
Season passes are now available on their website.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Eventually they start to do individual passes as well. I'm
just not sure if those are on sale just yet.
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Nothing better than a movie outside, nice summer evening, food trucks, especially.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
Now when it's cooler at and it's like nice to
be outside.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Sounds awesome.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Ricky zachon Mano in the Morning on what does.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Your Perfect day look Like?

Speaker 4 (22:35):
It's Ricky Zacha Mano in the Morning on one oh
seven five the River. Researchers from the University of British
Columbia have determined what the perfect day looks like.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Do you guys want to hear what this sounds like?

Speaker 13 (22:45):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (22:46):
Yeah, yeah, Okay, So I'm only gonna give you a
few snippets of it.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
An hour and a half for socializing, Okay, two hours
for exercising. Yeah, no, less than fifteen minutes commuting two slash.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
From work the way work is a part of this
perfect day.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Well, I mean you gotta have you have to work, Okay,
you know what I mean? A short six hour work
day though, Okay, I like the six hour work.

Speaker 8 (23:11):
Day idea right along?

Speaker 4 (23:12):
For an hour for TV, phone, tablet, computer time.

Speaker 8 (23:18):
Well, only one episode of severance is an hour?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Boy, still get my phone in my hand all day long?

Speaker 5 (23:24):
It see, I mean, yeah, you have it.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
This is a nightmare. I don't like anything.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
I want to hear the rest of it all. Run
through it real fast.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
An hour for eating and drinking, two hours to hang
out with friends, six hours to spend with family.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
That's the ideal perfect day.

Speaker 11 (23:38):
Okay, that's like taking up a lot of hours. You
missed the nap in there.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Okay, your perfect day, it would be like six seven, three,
seven nine, one o seven. And then I want to
hear Kevin and Zach's perfect day as well.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Your perfect day? What does look like? Let us know?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
One seven Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Talking about what the perfect day looks like.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
There are researchers from the University of British Columbia that
have determined what they think the perfect day looks like.
But it may differ from everybody else's thoughts. It's Ricky
Zacamano in the morning on one oh seven five of
the River. We got Easton and Nashville on the line. Easton,
can you tell us what you think your perfect day
looks like?

Speaker 12 (24:18):
So when I wake up, do you eat for like
two hours?

Speaker 8 (24:23):
Whoa you want to eat for two hours?

Speaker 6 (24:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (24:26):
You gotta go to a fancy restaurant. You gotta make
them do your stuff with you.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Okay, you can do your stuff for you. What's next?

Speaker 12 (24:34):
And then after that you go to take a shower.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
All right, I've worked up a good sweat at the restaurant, okay.

Speaker 12 (24:41):
And then you go to the gym for six hours.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
Six hours of the gym.

Speaker 12 (24:46):
Yeah, you gotta do your sports and stuff.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
What okay, go do your sports? Is that you ate
a lot? You were ready, you bulked up, you're ready
to go.

Speaker 8 (24:53):
This sounds absolutely miserable.

Speaker 12 (24:56):
And then go to work for thirty minutes and then
leave and then go to the movie.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Okay, see hour on boards. Thirty minutes for work sounds
ideal to me.

Speaker 12 (25:07):
And then you spend two hours at the movie seat theater,
and then you came spent talents, family for two hours okay,
and then go to bed and have popcorn.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
I love it in bed, popcorn and popcorn. Does it
get better?

Speaker 5 (25:24):
Honestly?

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Like, we were a little iffy about your perfect day
at first, Easton, but you sold me towards the end.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Yeah, thank you, Easton. And I think I mean doing
the mat In my head, I think that leaves like.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Twelve hours for sleep. Son.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
So what this research said, though, was a lot of
different things that we don't necessarily agree with, Like two
hours for hanging out with friends on top of an
hour and a half of socializing is a lot of
just being out there. That's a lot lot On a
typical work day, only fifteen minutes for commute to and
from work.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
It's just not possible.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
I want time for activities like I want to go
bowling or I want to you know.

Speaker 8 (26:00):
Part of the socializing.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Oh it is, okay, that falls into that category thing.
So I like Eastern's idea of going to the movies.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
The perfect day.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Okay, so you can take a nap, Zach, what does
your perfect day look like?

Speaker 11 (26:13):
I would say, get a pedicure, go home and take
a nap, and then get up and go shopping.

Speaker 5 (26:17):
No, work or anything like that.

Speaker 8 (26:19):
No, absolutely not, Kevin.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Yours didn't have any work in it either, No work.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
No work.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
I think i'd probably trim Eastern six hours in the
gym down a little bit, but I want to exercise.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Okay, what do you have must have on your list?

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Mine would be I like the idea of having a
nice meal like Eastern was onto something with that hour meal.

Speaker 8 (26:41):
I don't know if it needs to be.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
In the morning for breakfast, but I like the idea
of like a two hour nice meal. That sounds nice.
And I would definitely need a nap in there somewhere.
If I don't get a nap, I'm grumpy.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
I'm like a little kid Ricky Zach in the morning.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
The absolute pure joy that its Zoos from this daily
double tat that we're about to play you on one
of seven five the river is I.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
Just can't even put into words.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
This guy's so excited about learning this fact about otters
and it's the sweetest thing ever.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
I watched this three times.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
I haven't even heard I'm excited. I love it already.
Here we go.

Speaker 7 (27:15):
You know otters, Yeah, little cool looking otters. They like rocks,
and they like rocks. So much that when they find
a rock that they love so much that it's like
their favorite rock, they keep it in their little pocket,
in their skin skin pocket for life. They keep their

(27:36):
favorite rock in their skin pocket forever do They just
like show it to each other when they all meet
up for like the weekly Otter meeting. Are they like, yo,
let me see your favorite rock, And they're like, I'll
show you my favorite rock if you show be upa
iget that they're all like they meet weekly.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
I think.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
So it's cute, Like.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
How adorable. He's so excited to learn this about Otters.
And the best part is that when you go into
the comment section, all these people are telling him new
facts and he's reacting to all the Otter facts.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
It's the cutest thing I've ever seen on the Internet.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
That's great. We'll put it up Today's daily double tab
goes up.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
In the Instagram stories at one oh seven five the
River on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
I didn't know that about the Otter so I learned
something new there.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
I like one O seven Ricky Zach and Manno in
the morning
