Join Granger Smith in this thought-provoking discussion as we explore the fascinating realm of eschatology, the study of end times. In this video, we'll tackle some intriguing questions: Is Jesus coming back soon? Are we approaching the Rapture? I'll be reacting to various perspectives circulating on these topics, including discussions surrounding the upcoming solar eclipse and the significance of signs and symbols, such as the Aleph and Tav being placed over America. We'll delve into biblical texts, analyzing the language and interpretations to gain deeper insights into these events.

Furthermore, we'll examine the concept of signs and omens as outlined in the Bible, considering their relevance in understanding the times we live in. From mapping the path of totality during the solar eclipse to deciphering biblical prophecies and more. Whether you're a devout believer, a skeptic, or simply curious about eschatology, this video offers a space for reflection, dialogue, and exploration.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Don't go there, guys, breaker, don't go there. At What's Up? Everybody?
Welcome back to the podcast and we answer your questions

(00:21):
on this podcast. And I have taken the liberty today
to combine a bunch of your questions about one topic.
In fact, the topic is eschatology. Before I get into it,
email me if you have a question for me. It
is podcast at grangersmith dot com. And I'll walk through
these things as if you and I are sitting in

(00:43):
the cab of a truck. We'll try to have a
just a normal discussion about things. That's the format. And
the question that I want to answer today is about
eschatology and what does that mean? What does that? That's
a big word that basically means the study of end times?
And I get this all the time I'm on this podcast,
people asking me, Granger, what do you think about the
end times? Is Jesus coming back? Is it? Are we

(01:06):
heading into the do the rapture really soon? Granger? What
do you think? And I always kick that can down
the road and always pun it because I've never been
really interested in it. Besides, you know, I've dabbled it
in high school and kind of got into it a
little bit then, but but I've always seen it as

(01:27):
more of a distraction than anything else. And so today
we put together a few videos here, and so I
want to react to these videos, and ant Man got
me four of them. I don't know if I'll get
to all four, but I think it's a good place
to start. So this first one. And I think maybe

(01:47):
all these are either a YouTube short or a TikTok
something like that, or maybe an Instagram reel. But this
is out of the four videos, this is number four.
I'll start with this one.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
This video is for you if you want to understand
why religious people feel a certain way about the upcoming
solar eclipse.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I'm not going to waste your time. I'm just going
to get right into it now.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
People on both sides of religion, the ones who worship
good and the ones who worship evil, pay attention to
the moon here because.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
They I'm gonna stop it ready here. So it's interesting
because this guy wrought off the bat. He starts talking
about religious people and he's putting it. He's putting religious
people in a box as as if he's not in
the box right He's he's speaking to it like, hey,
let me. Let me help all of you understand what
the religious people are thinking. All of us non religion

(02:34):
religious people, let let me help you explain understand what
these religious people are thinking. But it's interesting what he
says here, because if you look at the word religion,
it really the way that you can define that in
simplest terms, is a particular variety of beliefs, especially when

(02:58):
organized into a system of doctrine and practice, right, that
would be religious. But he simplifies it right off the
bat of this video and puts it in two categories,
people that worship good and people that worship evil, which
is fascinating that that's how he starts his video, and
that's how he's going to lead us into here. Here
I'll get you. Let me play this again from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
This video is for you if you want to understand
why religious people feel a certain way about the upcoming
solar eclipse.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
I'm not gonna waste your time. I'm just going to
get right into it now.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
People on both sides of religion, the ones who worship
good and the ones who worship evil, pay attention to
the moon.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
There's two kinds of religions here. According to this guy,
the ones that worship good and the ones that worship evil.
I don't know exactly how to react to that, Because
I don't know, I'll just keep playing the video.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Pay attention to the moon here because they understand that
those are signs. Now, the people that most consider worship evil,
they tend to lean toward this one right here. But
this one, the solar eclipse, doesn't happen very often. The
last one here was in.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Twenty seven Okay, so he's saying that the people that
worship evil, which once again, and I'm not sure what
that even means. He's pointing to the moon, like the
lunar eclipse matters more to the evil people, and the
solar eclipse matters more to the good people. Once again,
strange category.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Let's keep it here was in twenty seventeen, but the
one before that was in nineteen seventy nine. So the
fact that we're getting them more and more frequently is
standing out to a lot of religious people.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Time to get into the meat and potatoes.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Hang on a second, So, I didn't know this is
gonna get so complicated, but I'm gonna let me try
to catch up here.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
But this one, the solar eclipse doesn't happen very often.
The last one here was in twenty seventeen, but the
one before that was in nineteen seventy nine. So the
fact that we're getting them more and more frequently is
standing out to a lot of religious people.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Okay, stop right, that's where I wanted to stop. That's
not true on all. This is why you just can't
trust this stuff, guys. And that's why I wanted to
react to this video and I wanted to make an
entire video of this, because we're getting we're getting just
worked up about stuff that's just not true. First of all,
eclipses are not starting to happen more and more frequently.

(05:18):
First of all, we can't totally prove that because we
can only go back even recently has NASA been able
to see past eclipses. But that's not First of all,
it's not true that they're happening more and more and
more like they're like they're happening quicker. There's always like
three to five don't quote me on this, but like
three to five eclipses every year, and so the path

(05:43):
of totality changes and the amount of totality changes. But
this guy's leading us to already believe that something is
happening in the universe. It's making more and more clips
eclipses happen. Now let's keep going.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Time to get into the meat and potatoes. Those religious
people went to the Book of Revelation because they and
a lot of others, even non religious people, feel like
it could be the end of the world.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Here's what they noticed. And it gets more interesting the.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
First you notice how he said, even the non religious
people feel like it could be the end of the world.
I'm not sure it is.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
And it gets more interesting the further into it you get.
These are the last three paths of totality for the
last three.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Sorry, keep stopping, let me say something else. He said,
religious people go to the Book of Revelation. The only
Christians would do that. So there's no other religion of
all the world religions, no other religion would go to
the Book of Revelation and say, okay, let's study this.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
We'll continue paths of totality for the last three solar
eclipses that were.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
In the US. This one right here is the one
where about to.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Get God says in the Book of Revelations, I am
the all of in the top, which are.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
The revelation singular, not revelations.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Which are the first and the last letters of the
Hebrew alphabet, the beginning and the end, the first and
the last. Now, with that in mind, if you look
at the map here, you can see the alive and
the TAUV. So is this God? Is this a sign
from God? And that's still not it?

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Okay, let's catch up here, and especially for the people
that are listening and not watching, what he's doing is
he's drawing maps on the US. He's drawing lines across
the United States in the path of totality, and he's
drawing like the last three eclipses and trying to make
a shape out of the line.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Here's another passage talking about God's return. Immediately after the
tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened and
the moon will not provide its light. Sounds a little
bit like a solar eclipse. Right back to it. The
stars will fall from the skies, and the powers of
the heavens will be shaken.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Well, NASA posted that this is okay.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
By the way he's quoting here Mark thirteen. He's out
of revelation.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Now this is gonna be one of the only eclipses
that we could see a lot rg eruption of solar
material falling starts. Another thing to consider here is that
in the Bible God said it would be about two
thousand years before his return.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
We are currently in the year two thousand.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
The Bible doesn't clearly say that.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
No, certainly in the year twenty twenty four. Now a
lot of people in today's generation that's not enough.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
They need more. Well, God actually spoke on that too.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
He answered and said to them, an evil and adulterous generation,
which sounds way too much like us, craves for a sign,
and yet no sign will be given to it. But
the sign of Jonah, the prophet.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Stop right here, cool like I like this because he's
he's making a case for me. Jesus is saying this
in Matthew twelve. An evil and adulterous generation ask for
a sign, or craves a sign, or needs a sign.
And there are cases throughout the Bible. We need to
understand this. Where there's instances where there is echoes of things,

(09:03):
there are foreshadowings of things, and there are present tense things.
So what I mean is there are many instances in
the Bible where things have happened and they will happen,
and they are happening, right. So, for instance, the deliverer

(09:24):
of Israel before the Exodus was Moses, and then Moses
was foreshadowing Jesus. He was a typology of what was
to come, the greater deliverer, greater than Moses. And then
David fulfilled that he was another deliverer, a king prophesied
to come and rescue his people. And then there was

(09:45):
a greater deliverer and that was Christ. And so we
see it happened, it's happening and it will happen. This
adults generation thing. This guy's making it sound like, whoa,
this is us, we're craven signs. Well, I'm here to
tell you every generation has craved signs. There's always been
people that said, I don't believe God unless I have

(10:05):
a sign. I want to see what he says about
Joanah the Prophet, because then he says, because Jesus says,
and no sign will be given but the sign of
Joanah the Prophet. That's a very specific prophecy that Jesus
gave that we know exactly what he was talking about.
Let's see if this guy does.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
So, who's Jonah the prophets. What's his story?

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Well, Jonah was tasked by God to go to a
city called Nineveh, where he was going to preach the
word to the people of that city and save them.
Jonah did not want to do that. Jonah decided to
go west and run. He went through his tribulation and
then still ended up in the city of Ninevah.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
What's unique about that is.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
The solar eclips we're about to get passes over eight
cities called Nineveh. If you draw a line through all
of those cities, you can tell that it passes right
under Michigan, the same exact way the solar eclips were
about to get does.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
This is how the Bible explains God's second coming.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Okay, so when Jesus says no signs will be given
but the sign of Jonah the prophet, that's because there's
going to be cities on the totality line of a
total solar eclipse. And in fact, what Jesus was talking
about at that moment had nothing to do with Nineve

(11:21):
at all. He was saying he was talking about Jonah
and his time in the whale. Because what Jesus was
prophesying is that he would as the deliverer. Jonah was
called to be the deliverer of Nineveh. Right, So here's
another typology. Jesus fulfilled that completely when he for three

(11:43):
days was in the tomb and rose out of the whale,
out of the fish, out of the mouth, out of
the stomach, out of the heart of the earth, which
was the grave the tomb, and rose again after three days.
That's what was the sign that Jesus was talking about
for Jonah the prophet, not this silly thing about there's

(12:04):
these cities of Nineveh, and if you follow this line
of totality, then that's the secret that Jesus was talking
about that somehow existed in the United States of America
two thousand years after he said it. Let's continue to
see what he's going to say. Here.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye
will see him, even those who pierced him, and all
the tribes of the earth will wail on account of him.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Pay attention specifically.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
To that he is coming with the clouds, because we
are expecting a historical chance of cloud coverage during the eclipse.
Those are not the only things. There's plenty of other
things referencing the end times that are currently happening, and
I'll bullet point them for you. What's extremely specific is
that God says the Euphrates River will dry up in
the end times. And I hate to say it, but

(12:49):
the Euphrates River just recently dried up.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
He said we were going to get hit by pandemics,
and well, has anyone heard of COVID? The Bible also
says that in the end days, the jew will build
a third temple and sacrifice a red cow, which will
then usher in the Antichrist, whom they think is the Messiah. Well,
they just announced the construction of a third temple and
Texas is sending them red cows to sacrifice.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Okay, so let's stop here. This is good stuff. First
of all, I just want to say I want everybody
to be aware when you're just mindlessly scrolling social media
and you see stuff like this, that what this guy
wants really is he wants your clicks. He wants to
get views to grow his page. Now they're in a sense,
I'm doing the same thing to you right now, but

(13:37):
I promise you I'm not looking to grow this profile
for you know, so that I can grow this based
on clickbait so that you could start listening to me
spew nonsense type stuff. I genuinely want you to know
the truth, and I want you through this podcast. I've
always just wanted you just to think for yourselves through things.

(14:00):
So what I want to I want to model because
I'm far from perfect and I'm far from knowing everything
or or understanding complicated things. But what I want to
model instead of giving you answers, is how to think
through things, especially with the biblical worldview. How do we
take something and we we think about it critically without

(14:21):
being fed information. How do we pause for a second
and use our own brains and think through this? And
what this guy's doing. And I'm not totally blaming him
because because like I said, I'm not completely doing the
opposite of him. I'm looking for your view as well.
I just I believe that I'm looking for your view

(14:42):
for a different reason. But what this guy wants, he
just wants to He wants you to click on the
video and to wow you a little bit. But we
have to understand that what he's wowing you with is
it's just not true. I have heard about this this
third Temple thing and these red cows, and I've I

(15:03):
do know that that does exist, and there is a
there is a ranch in Texas where they there are
priests from Jerusalem that are that are in contact with
this rancher in Texas. Rumor is he's actually a Christian,
which is interesting, and that whenever they they usher in,
Messionic Jews have told me this. I have some dear
friends that are Messionics that whenever they do usher in

(15:27):
the Third Temple, they will bring that red heifer in
and to be the first sacrifice of the Third Temple.
But this guy's saying that there are plans now for
there to be a third well, there have been plans
for a long, long, long long time. That's not a
new thing. The Jews have been wanting to rebuild their

(15:47):
temple ever since it was torn down. We might discuss
a little bit more of that in this video. But
there are there's a spiritual war going on that's not
allowing that to happen, and namely, the Muslims are not
going to allow that to happen now unless something, unless,
something crazy happens. So it's nothing to get worked up about.
Let's continue.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I personally believe that there's way too many coincidences regarding
the solar eclips to not feel a certain.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Way about it.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Regardless, I hope you guys got something from this video
and can now understand where more religious people are coming from.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Wow, now after watching that video, you can better understand
where religious people are coming from. It's very interesting to
think that you have it, you have it figured out
so well. And you notice he doesn't really claim to
be part of the religious group. He's just saying, like
from an outside looking in, here's how to explain it.

(16:42):
Isn't it crazy? It sounds like it's really coming true.
It's like convincing himself that it's all real from the outside,
and you would think that he would have convinced himself
to be on the inside. A couple of announcements to make.
On April the second, my new book, Up Toward the
Light is released, and so you can find that wherever

(17:04):
you love to find books, including Amazon or grangersmith dot com.
Again it's called Up Toward the Light. It's actually a
children's book, this time based on a short story inside
my book Like a River. Also April to twenty sixth,
we have ee E Day it's open to the public
and you could actually come go to eee dot com
to find out how you can attend. It's gonna be
a really fun day. Of course, I'll be there, My

(17:26):
brothers will be there and everyone else you know from yee.
If you want to get a hold of me other
than that, if you want me to make you a
video message, I can do that at cameo dot com
slash Grangersmith, or you could download the cameo app c
ame eo and search for me granger Smith, and I'll
make you a quick video message right from my phone.
However you want me to address it, whoever you want

(17:46):
me to send it to, and for whatever occasion you
want me to make it. I do this all the time,
and it's super easy. Again, that's cameo dot com slash Grangersmith.
I have a couple some more videos here about the
same thing. This is the first video I got from
a man.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
What do the olive in the top mean being placed
over the United States?

Speaker 5 (18:12):
Glad you asked? This is an innerlinear Bible.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Welcome to Olive tob Productions, where I drop biblical bombs
and I tell you what's coming.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
For the collective in Genesis one fourteen.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
This girl is gonna drop some biblical bombs on us.
Here we go. So she is standing in front of
the green screen in cause you can't see this video,
and the green screen is an inner linear Bible, and
innerlinear Bibles are actually helpful because it helps us translate
Greek and Hebrew and in English in our own way.

(18:49):
So it's gonna line up whatever book we're looking at.
In this case, Hebrew is gonna line up Hebrew and
Latin and English, and that way you could look yourself
and go, I'm gonna I'm gonna help help myself understand
what this is. And and it's very helpful in combating heresies.

(19:14):
And so if you're if you're looking at a subset
of an Abrahamic religion that's a heresy, for like Arianism
that says that that Jesus is the literal son of
God and but he's not God, then you can go
to an inner linear Bible and and find out exactly

(19:37):
what that Greek and Hebrew and English and Latin and
how they all coincide. So it's it's actually a really
solid resource that she's standing in front of here and
she's about to drop some biblical bombs on us.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Genesis one fourteen, the Lord divides the night from the day,
and he declares that the greater light will rule the
day and the lesser light rule rule the night. And
he says that the will be for sign. That's word
two two six.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Word T two six is off.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
I think it's kind of interesting because it looks like
oath and you can see that it's a very interesting
word pulled this word two two six from the word
signs in Genesis one fourteen.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
That's literally talking about this sun in the moon.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
So here we go. She's talking fast, and she's throwing
a bunch of stuff out here, and probably, I'm assuming
most people get in the comments and they're like, oh,
this is this is brilliant, this, this girl knows what
she's talking about. This is this is really cool. And
in fact, she's she's just digging in places where it
just doesn't need to be dug. It's like God, God

(20:43):
put the sun and the moon into the heavens for
a sign for us, and she's like, oh, what does
that mean. Let's let's figure it out. Like it's like
it's some ouiji boord uh mystery that we need to
get to the bottom of this stole. Let's keep digging
through the languages and see what we could find. I'll
see whatever she says.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
And as you know, the sun and the moon are
both required for an eclipse.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
Hello, back to our word off. Look at this. The
spelling is olive, VOV and TV.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Just want you to see that this word actually means
Banner's omens signs.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
Standard, a witness and wondrous a pledge. You can see
as we.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Come down in our meanings, we always want to match
our verse with the right meaning, and there's lots of
different signs.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
There's the sign of the passover.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Let me stop her here and just say that I
do want to give her a little credit here, not
that she needs any, but it is encouraging for anyone
to dig this deep into the languages and get into
actually see what you're looking for. But you should come

(21:49):
to it. I think she's coming to it with a purpose.
So if you're saying the solar eclipse in twenty twenty
four has to be a sign from God that I
don't know where. I don't know where she's going. I'm
assuming she's gonna say the end of times, the solar
eclipse has to be a sign from God for the
end of times. So because I believe that, then I'm

(22:13):
gonna put that onto the Bible, and I'm gonna dig
in until I find enough coincidences. Like the other guy
said that word, until I find enough pieces of evidence
to prove my theory correct. And that is the wrong
way to go into the Bible, And in fact, it's
the wrong way to go to into if you're in
if you were in law, or if you're a judge,

(22:35):
or if you're on a jury and we're talking about
life and death here, then you don't take your opinion
and then try to look for enough evidence to prove
your opinion right. Instead, you go into the text with
a blank slate, going, Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna see
what the text says and then form my opinions from that,

(22:56):
instead of I'm gonna form my opinion and then go
to the text and try to put my opinion onto
the text. I believe that's what she's doing, but I
do want to give her encouragement, or are you encouragement
as the listener that going to the innerlinear is actually
a pretty cool thing to see what the text is saying.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
There's omens and signs of predicted events, signs or symbols
of profits, signs miracles.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
Not until we get to.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Number eight that we find the exact use that we're
talking about.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Boom, that's what she's doing. So she went to the innerlinear.
She said, I know that what this means, to my
opinion is it has to mean this, And so let's
go through all the lists. Let's go down the list,
and what she's looking at here is like one, two, three,
they's what all these words could mean. And she gets
to number eight and she underlines it and goes, that's

(23:49):
what I thought it meant, like that was my opinion
about it, and I knew it, So here it is.
And so she was looking to affirm her opinion instead
of looking at the text and forming opinion from the text.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
Here the definition for the use in Genesis one fourteen
that is relating to the luminaries of the heavens is
signs tokens of changes of weather and times. That's going
to be interesting.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Remember that. And you can see that it also is used.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
In Jeremiah ten two and it references the changes of
the heavens as omens.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
To frighten the nation.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Same Hebrew with the same vowels is also used in
Psalm sixty five. It's actually in verse eight, not nine,
and we're going to go over that before we get
into the scripture. I'm going to tell you there is
a lot of scripture to cover with this video.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
There is seven minutes left on this video. If you
want to see what else she says, you could do it.
I don't. I think we should move on. I don't
think it's necessary. I think it's very clear that she
is putting her opinion onto text instead of the other
way arou. And I think I've made it clear that
that's just not the way to read text. If you do,

(25:04):
and people have done it for thousands of years, you
end up with all kinds of heresy, and you simply
end up with what you want. You could affirm anything, polygamy, slavery,
mass murder, you could affirm all kinds of things if
you have an opinion on the way you think the
world should operate, and then you go to the Bible

(25:26):
with your opinion and put it onto the text and
dig through all the different ways to say the words
and all the ways to define them, and so you
find the way that you believe it should say, and
then you put that together with another line that you
found somewhere else in the Bible, fifty books away from
the first book, and you find another line with another word,

(25:47):
and you put it together. Pretty soon you have a
new religion and a new heresy because you have taken
your opinion. You go, look, I can tell you that
the Bible tells us men we need to be in
a multiple marriage relationsationship with multiple wives. I mean, we
need to be in a polygamous relationship. And look, let
me show you in the Bible where all of it
or or I believe that slavery, slavery is right, and

(26:10):
let me show you how the Bible can affirm that.
And you get all these weird ways of looking at words,
and you it's wrong. And to be able to take
the full counsel of God, all of the books of
the Bible, and you take what it means to say
with the original original intent of the authors, and then
you take that and then you live that out instead

(26:33):
of saying I'm gonna I want to live this way
and I'm gonna put it into the text. It's it's
very dangerous to do it. So I'm not going to
continue because I believe that's what she's doing, and she
has a smile on her face like she's doing that
to you. So if you want to continue and see
what I'm talking about, you can. Meanwhile, I'm going to
move to another video here, So I think I'm gonna

(26:53):
go I have four videos that Antman gave me about
similar things. I'm gonna go to video number two and
see that says.

Speaker 6 (27:01):
I'm going to be a little skeptical of what people
are saying about this eclipse. But at the same time,
the Bible says that God put the sun and the
moon and the stars in heaven for signs and times
and things like that, and ever since the dawn of history,
people always look at an eclipse as a sign of
something ominous that's going to take place.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
So here we are again talking about signs. And he's
not wrong here. And this is I know this guy,
Robert Breaker, and I know is theology. And there's a
lot of things that I like that he says that
I'm encouraged by, and including the gospel. He has the
gospel correct, and there are things that Robert and I

(27:41):
are going to be very different on These are not
first tier issues, meaning Salvation is not at stake with
the differences I have with Robert, But he's going to
be I don't know if you would like it if
I said this, but he's probably a hyperdispensationalist and he
is really into this stuff. And so let's dig in

(28:03):
to see what Robert has to say. Robert is going
to be a lot more informed than those other two videos,
So let's see if we can make some sense out
of it. Once again, we're talking about the solar eclipse,
specifically the one coming in April. If you have if
you are watching this video past April of twenty twenty four,
then that makes this video even more interesting to you

(28:26):
because then you could look back on the history of
the eclipse and see if any of these people were
right at all, including me. Let's continue with Robert.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
So on April eighth, we have an upcoming eclipse, no
doubt you've heard about it, and it's going to be
on April eight. Then it's going to come across America
and it's going to go through all these cities, and
that's really interesting. And some people have made light of
the fact that said, oh, that's no big deal, and
others laughed at it. But it's part of a two
part eclipse that makes a gigantic X over America, And

(28:57):
so you got to kind of wonder about this. The
first eclipse took place on August twenty first, twenty seventeen,
and it went across like this. And now, almost seven
years later, here's another eclipse in twenty twenty four, and
how odd that it's making a big old X. What
do you do if you put an X on something?
You exit out. You're saying I'm done with.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
This, Okay? Does that make sense to anyone? Would that be?
Does that sound right that you would take a random
solar eclipse? That's well, it's not random, it's they're very predictable.
You could you could easily see when and where they're
going to occur, and when and where they occurred in

(29:36):
the past. And he's taken one from twenty seventeen, and
then he's taking one that that will happen in April
of twenty twenty four, and he's lining up the paths
of totality on a map of the United States and
it makes the shape of an X. And he's insinuating,
is God telling us that he's cutting out America. Does

(29:58):
that sound right to you? And I realized that me
even making this video, I realized that there are probably
a lot of people that are that are some sort
of hyper dispensationalist or they are just someone that's looking
for looking for affirmation of the end of times because
they feel like it's coming and they so desperately want

(30:20):
to believe this, and they want to they want to say, look,
there it is. And they probably look at me and go,
come on, Granger, lighting up, man, you know, let us
have this, let us let us all go wow, look,
God wrote an X on America. Let's continue the video.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
So a lot of people are saying God is telling America, America,
God's done with you. Now. I don't know, Like I said,
I'm approach this is a little bit of a skeptic
and a little bit skeptical. But is there something to
this eclipse? What does it mean? Well, let's keep looking
what's odd? And I don't believe there's any coincidences with God.
But what is very odd is this.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Let me stop him here, Robert is he's being careful
with this, and I admire that because he's not saying
this is what I believe. And you notice he's saying, look,
I'm a little bit skeptical, skeptical here, and he's making
this video just like I am, for information. So he's
going to bring this out and say, look, I want
you to think for yourself. I don't know necessarily where
he's leading, and I do agree that there is no

(31:20):
coincidence with God. Let's continue with Robert.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
Whenever this took place in August twenty first, twenty seventeen,
many people think the Revelation twelve sign and then we
saw God doing some great things for the nation of
Israel in twenty eighteen, as Trump declared the capital of
Israel is Jerusalem.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Hey, we'll keep going here.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
Just happened to be on the seventieth anniversary of when
they became a nation in forty eight. They'd clued themselves
a nation.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
This is a sign of dispensationalism when you start talking
about Israel becoming a nation in seventy years and nineteen
forty eight, and it's very gray area in all of.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
This themselves a nation forty seven, A lot of people
poured in there, forty nine they organized their own government,
but they recognize forty eight as the year that they
started as a nation again, and here in twenty eighteen,
exactly what was it seventy years later? I mean, wow,
they're declared you can't make that up. But look what
this is right here.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
He says you can't make that up. Once again. I
just want to point out that you can make a
lot of things up. If you really want something to happen,
or you really want to have an opinion about something,
you can look. You could just scour through data and
find enough things that you go, look and let's look

(32:44):
at the inner linear like that other girl was, and
look what this definition means. And this is what I
want to happen. So let's try to find enough information
and make sure this is happening. But it's very very gray.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
This eclipse when it came across in twenty seventeen, it
came across seven different cities named Salem. Now is that coincidence?
Salem means peace? So I don't know. I just I
look at these things and I go, wow, this is interesting.
Now is a Christian? I'm cautious because the Bible say
that Jews seek after a sign, so signs are for
the Jews. So I don't want to look at these
signs and base my doctrine off of what I see

(33:18):
in the stars and things like that.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
But I do say, wow, Breaker breaks down the Book
of Acts for those of you that care. And I've
seen him do this before. Where he's a fundamentalist that
believes that signs and wonders are over, he is a cessationalist,
and he believes that that happened because when the Jews

(33:42):
needed enough signs and when they didn't believe that the
and Paul goes to the Gentiles, signs and wonders stopped
and then it became faith only, which is the system
that we're still in. And so he's really into thinking
about how the Book of Acts is locked down into

(34:05):
different dispensations and we should read it in that way.
That's getting a little bit complicated and a little bit
in the weeds, but that's where Breakers coming from.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
I think God communicates through the Mazarath with them. Now,
this one that's coming on April eight, twenty twenty four,
the opposite direction making that X. It's going across a
little place called Little Egypt. In that valley there is
called Little Egypt. Does that remind you of anything? The
Exodus as a matter of fact, when the Children Israel
left Egypt.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Y' know how many cities are in the path of totality, cities, towns, villages,
unincorporated places. Do you think if we looked in enough
places in a Judeo Christian nation like America, and we're
gonna have enough names that are from the Bible, that

(35:01):
we could go, look Little Egypt. See God knew Little Well.
We literally named that town. Some Judeo Christian named it
Little Egypt because because it's in the Bible. We'll keep going.

Speaker 6 (35:16):
Could it be pointing to Christians making their exodus soon
at what they know as the Rapture? I don't know,
but it does go across what many are saying is
the new I'm gonna say this right Madrid.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
So there there he goes he's talking about the rapture,
and I'm not saying, please don't hear this video And
for a second think Granger Smith is sure of what
he's talking about. I'm not sure, right, And when it
comes to rapture and things, I don't want to stand

(35:48):
here and act like I know. But what I am
trying to tell you is Robert Breaker doesn't know either,
And and he's making it sound like what is gray
and what is misunderstood and what I believe is not
meant to be fully understood this aspect of it. He's
making it sound like it's black and white. Here's the deal.

(36:10):
And so I want to caution everyone that is forming
their faith, forming their understanding and understand that there are
things in the Bible we know we stand on truth,
we stand on a firm foundation, and then there are
other things, third, fourth, fifth tier level stuff that's not

(36:33):
sure and we don't have to be And it's okay
if you if you do stand firm on a third,
fourth tier item, but when you stand firm on a
third or fourth tier idea, doctrine, just know that you
can't make other people believe it because it's not it's
not specifically made to be sure of. I hope I'm

(36:57):
being clear.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
In Spanish, it's my so I always call it the
new Madrid, but people say no, it's Madrid or I
don't know how they pronounce it, but the new Madrid
fault line, all right. So that's interesting. Now there's a
claim going around that the second slash, I guess we'll
call it a slash, the second eclipse. The first one
went over seven cities named Salem. They are claiming that
the second eclipse April eighth, twenty twenty four is going

(37:21):
to go over. And I heard seven cities named Ninevah
in America. Now they're saying eight cities there.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Here we go again. We're looking for cities. And that's
what that first guy did. And he vieuwsed that wrongly
to say that Jesus was talking about this when he
said that the an evil generation, an adult trust generation,
seeks after signs and they will not get one except
for the sign of Jonah. And that first guy was saying, look, look, look,
look what is who is Jonah? As if we don't

(37:48):
know who Jonah is? As if it's like a mystery,
we got to look it up. Oh, he's this guy
who goes to NINEV. And then they go to the
map and they go, I wonder if there's a city
named Nineveh on the line of totality that goes across
the entire United States? Can we please find a city
of ninev Yes, we do, not just one, but two, three, four,

(38:09):
or five for all the way, Breaker says, what did
he say? There's eight? I don't know what to think
of this, and I don't think you should either.

Speaker 6 (38:19):
They're including the bottom one here, Nova Scotia, and I've
heard that, but I've also heard the fact checkers claim no,
it only goes over two cities named Nineva. So I'll
let you fact check the fact checkers for yourself and
see if you think there's seven cities or eight cities
named Ninva, or if you don't. But the fact is
there's a couple cities named Ninevah that this eclipse goes over.

(38:41):
And that makes us think about a prophet named Jonah,
and that makes us also think about.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
No breaker, don't go there, don't go there.

Speaker 6 (38:50):
And I'm getting goosebumps what he preached. And there was
an eclipse on June fifteenth, seven sixty three BC, around
the time of Jonah. And when Jonah went to preach
to the people of Nineveh, he preached repent and then
there was this sign in heaven. So his preaching was
accompanied by an eclipse, and the people freaked out. And
if you know the story, well, God told him you

(39:11):
got forty days to repent, and they did. So is
this an eclipse? God saying to America, Look, I'm done
with you in forty days unless you repent. That's a
good question.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Don't go there, guys, breaker, don't go there. You can't
make that conclusion. As Christians, we are a people that's
in dispersion. We don't call this our home, so we
don't claim nation over our faith in God, which makes

(39:46):
us a nation. Our faith makes us the people of God.
And it's not anything that we do. It's not what
our passport says. It's not where we're born. Jesus says,
go forth to all nations, right, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have

(40:08):
commanded you. Behold. I am with you always until the
end of the age. Our nationality as Christians is not
based on borders or passports, our place of birth. It
is based on faith in the Redeemer, in the Deliverer Jesus.

(40:28):
And because of that, as Peter writes, to the church's
in dispersion, we are still dispersed among the nations. We
are out in the world, but we're not of the world.
And we need to remember this that in terms of
God punishing a nation like He used to in the

(40:49):
Old Testament based on the people of the nation. We
are now in the world, but not of the world,
meaning we always seek for good right we want we
want good for our families and our communities in our country,
and we should pray for that. But to start thinking

(41:11):
that the collective ideas of the country will be punished
by God if we don't repent like Ninevah did when
Jonah preached, there is just a bad reading of the Bible.
And I say that with trembling because Breaker is a
brilliant man and he knows his Bible very well, So
for me to say that about him is scary on

(41:34):
my part. But I think it's more cautious to say
what I'm saying than it is for him to say
what he's saying. Even though I do feel like he
knows a lot more than me about the Bible. I
think he's looking at it out of a bad lens.

Speaker 6 (41:48):
That's a good question. But what is the story of Jonah.
If we're thinking about Jonah and we're thinking about this
story of Jonah, what does the Bible say well? And
Jonah three four and five, and Jonah began to enter
it into the city A day's journey, and he cried
and said, yeah, forty days and Ninevah shall be overthrown.
So he was not crying, he was crying aloud. He
was preaching, Hey, you got forty days or God's going
to destroy you. Well look what the people did. This

(42:10):
is a great illustration of God's grace. And God can
still have grace on America if they'll repent. So the
people of Ninevah believe God and proclaim a fast and.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
Put stop it. You can't tell America to repent as
if we're we and I've already I just said it,
I'll say it again, as if we're just collectively a
group of people that all have the same mind like
we would have in the Old Testament. We are not
like that. America will not collectively repent. That will not happen.

(42:39):
And unfortunately for Breaker that forty days after this eclipse,
I'm assuming he would go with what I'm saying here.
Forty days after April eighth. If nothing happens, then he
was wrong. That's it. That's it. Like if you're watching
this video or listening to this podcast anytime after June

(43:02):
of twenty twenty four, then Breaker was wrong. Unless America
collectively repents, and you would know that as well. So
either way you'll be able to test what he's saying,
and we could look back with a clear mind and
go was that just clickbait? All of that Let's keep going.

Speaker 6 (43:21):
Has to put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them
even to the least of them. So the moral of
that story of Jonah and Nineveh was repent because impending
doom is coming in forty days? Is April eight, God saying,
you know, in forty days there's going to be some
impending doom coming. I don't know, but you hear all
these stories about people saying that this is going to
be something bad that takes place, and most likely it

(43:43):
might be the new Madrid or Madrid. However people say it.
When you look at this thing, it's an X and
it goes to where that area is that could literally
shake the United States in half.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
This is putting fear where fear is should not be.
Now I'm gonna talk a little bit about where I
think this all should go, But as of now, what
Breaker's doing is he and I'm thinking maybe that first
guy that I played that first video, he might have
seen this video because that guy didn't se him as
smart as breaker, and he was kind of saying the
whole same little Jonah thing and the whole nin of
a thing, and he was saying in a lot less

(44:21):
eloquent way, but this is adding fear in a place
that it shouldn't be. There should be fear, and I'll
talk about that in a second, but this is adding
it in the wrong place. And it's weird, and it's testable,
and in a short amount of time we'll be able
to look back and see if this is all just garbage.

Speaker 6 (44:41):
And the Mississippi River could come in and we could
literally have a divided country overnight if something took place.
So is this freak? Is this just coincidence, a great
cosmic joke, or is God behind this warning us of
what's coming.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
Okay, there's a second video to that. I'm not gonna
play it. I don't have enough time. But he was
careful to continue to say, I don't know, I'm skeptical,
you make your own decision. I don't know. But the
fact that he made the video and it insinuated that
and then didn't have a rebuttal to any of it

(45:19):
is weird to me. And what that does. It just
leaves a bunch of people in the comments to say, oh, man,
you know what I heard the other day on TikTok.
I heard this guy and he's a pastor, and he's
saying that in forty days, if we don't repent as
a nation, then God's gonna divide us in two from
the Mississippi River and throw us wrath on us. And

(45:44):
it's it's not necessary. And the biggest problem I have
with all three of these videos I played is that
none of them ever got to the truth at all.
I said that there's a lot of gray area, and
no one ever got to the black and white. Let
me show you the black and white. I actually, I'm
pulled it up right here on the same screen. Let
me pull up mark thirteen. This chapter discusses a lot

(46:09):
of what we heard on these three videos. This is
Jesus talking. The first paragraph says, and as he came
out of the temple, one of the disciples said to him, look, teacher,
what wonderful stones, what wonderful buildings. And Jesus said to him,
do you see these great buildings? There will not be
left here one stone upon another that will not be

(46:29):
thrown down that's the first paragraph of Mark thirteen. What
Jesus is saying is is the disciples are going look
at this incredible temple. These stones are massive, and Jesus says,
you think those stones are cool? Can you believe that
one day all of those stones will be thrown off
of each other? And the disciples are like, wha what,

(46:51):
that's impossible. These stones are too big, it would there's
no way that could happen. It's interesting that that's the
way this chapter starts because that prophecy was fulfilled in
seventy a d. I personally have been to Jerusalem and
seeing these stones that are now not on top of

(47:12):
each other in the temple, but now they're thrown down
to the ground and a pile of rubbish. Jesus was correct.
The prophecy was fulfilled about forty years after he said that.
So it's interesting that as he goes into this chapter
in Mark thirteen about the end of Times, this first
part is absolutely fulfilled. There is no question about it.

(47:37):
And that goes back to what I said earlier about
there's a lot of things in the Bible that happened,
are happening and will happen, and there's a little of
each of those that's going on right now. He continues on,
and I'll try to summarize here in this little section
in the ESV. It's called signs of the End of
the Age. As he sounded the mount of all lives

(47:58):
opposite the temple, Peter and James and and Andrew asked
him privately, privately, tell us when will these things be
and what will be the sign of when all these
things are about to be accomplished. Notice that the stones falling,
we already know that happened forty years after this conversation,

(48:19):
So part of this is included in that the destruction
by the Romans in eighty seventy. Jesus began to say
to them, see that no one leads you astray. Many
will come in my name, saying I am he, and
they will lead many astray. And when you hear of
wars and rumors of wars, don't be alarmed. This must

(48:40):
take place, But the end is not yet. You've probably
heard that line a lot when people go, look, there's
wars and rumors of wars. That must be now that's
pretty much always been in humanity. And then he says,
for nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be earthquakes in various places, there will be famines.
These are but the beginning of the birth pains. Okay,

(49:05):
very straightforward. All of us could completely understand what you're saying.
Then he says, but be on your guard, for they
will deliver you over to the councils, and you will
be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors
and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them
that happened to these men he's talking to, right, that

(49:26):
happened to Peter and James and John and Andrew. James
was the first one to die of the sword in
this of these men. And so here's another thing that
was already fulfilled. The next line is very interesting. This
is Mark thirteen to ten, and the Gospel must be

(49:46):
proclaimed to all nations. Okay, So you could make an
argument that that has not happened yet. You can also
make an argument that with the Internet, maybe it has.
There are a lot of people that will say no,
there there are still unreached tribes within these nations, and
so this has not been fulfilled yet, meaning the end

(50:09):
of times cannot come until that the Gospel has been
proclaimed to all nations. So part of that should be
should motivate you to get your butt off the couch
and stop watching TikTok videos of these people and go
proclaim the Gospel to all nations. And then then Jesus
goes into this thing about whenever they deliver you over,

(50:30):
you're going don't be nervous because even though you know
you're not sure what you're going to say, now, the
Holy Spirit will give you words to speak in your
time of persecution. Okay, And he talks about something horrible here.
He says brother will deliver brother over to death, and
the father, his child and children will rise against parents

(50:51):
and have them put to death. This plays out all
the time in martyrrism. This plays out all over the
world as someone converts to Christianity from some other religion
and the parents suddenly hate them and want to kill them.
In fact, I've spoken to many people in different countries
who converted and their parents put a hitman on them

(51:13):
to kill them. Okay, so that goes on. That did happen,
that is happening, and that will happen. All of these things.
Jesus and finishes that line of thirteen thirteen will be,
he says, and you will be hated by all from
my name's sake, But the one who endures to the
end will be saved true. And then he goes on

(51:36):
to this last part and he talks about some sort
of tribulation that's going to be really bad, and he's
talking about fleeing to the mountains, and woe to the
pregnant women and the women that are nursing in those days,
because that's going to be very difficult to have infant
babies in this time. Pray that it does not happen

(51:57):
in winter, he says, He builds this. Can you imagine
John Peter and Andrew James listening to this and just going,
oh man, that's crazy. And once again there is there
is an aspect of this that was already fulfilled in
eighty seventy in the final destruction of the Temple of
of Jerusalem. And then he goes on, I'm gonna, I'm gonna,

(52:21):
I'm gonna continue if you want to read all of this.
In Mark thirteen, in verse twenty two says something interesting.
He says, for false Christ and false prophets will arise
and perform signs and wonders to lead astray, which is scary,
and it did happen, and it's currently happening and it

(52:42):
will happen. There we go again, and so here comes
the line that all these people in these videos talked about.
But in those days after that tribulation, the sun will
be darkened. So let's take something here. The sun will
be darkened and the moon will not give its light.
It sounds like a and stars will be falling from
the heaven. That sounds like a solar eclipse, like that

(53:02):
first video said. But guess what the first first line
of that is. But in those days after that tribulation. Okay,
so all this crazy stuff happening, pray that doesn't happen
in winter. Woe to the women that are pregnant and nursing.
It's gonna be horrible. They're gonna be running to the
mountains and pray that the days are shortened and false

(53:24):
prophets and it's gonna be really bad. And then after
that the sun will be darkened and the moon will
not give its light. That doesn't completely line up now,
all of a sudden with today, it's like, have we
gone through that? Was that covid I don't think so.
Continuing on here, it's the return of Christ in verse

(53:47):
twenty six. Okay, so Christ is returning, and this is
the moment that everyone is talking about on videos and
that everyone hopes for. Jesus says in verse twenty eight.
Learn from the fig tree. It's lesson. As soon as
its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you
know that summer is near. So also when you see

(54:08):
these things taking place, you know that He is near
at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this
generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
That line has been debated for a long time from millennia.
But it could be understand that that word generation, and

(54:31):
I'm gonna I'm gonna hit it right here, Geneia, that
word can be looked as a nation or an age,
or a generation or a time or a family. So
you could say that this nation will not pass away
until these things take place, meaning the people of God,

(54:54):
that the nation of Israel per se like. You could
look at it that way. However you want to look
at it. It doesn't have to mean this generation of people,
meaning when they were born on this date and they
die at this age right verse thirty one, one of
the most beautiful verses of this chapter. Heaven and Earth
will pass away. That's a promise, and he says, but

(55:17):
my words will not pass away. What a beautiful reminder
that we have a preservation of his word right here
that I'm reading today in twenty twenty four. Regardless of
everything you believe on all this eschatology, we know one
thing for sure. Heaven and Earth will pass away at
some point we don't know, but it will. But Jesus's

(55:39):
words will not. In fact, we have them right here
preserved for us. But here's my point on all of this,
he says in verse thirty two. Listen, this is so
important and never talked about in these clickbait videos. But
concerning Jesus, says, But concerning that day or that hour,

(56:02):
all that we've been talking about, all that that girl said,
and that breaker said, and that crazy guy said, and
the TikTok video and all the other things that you
see when everyone's talking about April eighth, and that eclipse
on April eighth, it has exact time when it will
pass over all those cities, even if those cities are
nineveh or whatever. It has a time, and listen to

(56:22):
what Jesus says to that Matthew, excuse me, Mark thirteen,
verse thirty two. But concerning that day or that hour,
no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor
the son, but only the Father. Be on guard. Keep awake,

(56:46):
for you do not know when the time will come.
It is like a man going on a journey when
he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each
with his own work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore,
stay awake, for you do not know when the master
of the house will come in the evening, or at midnight,

(57:06):
or in the rooster crows, or in the morning, lest
he comes suddenly and finds you asleep. Last line, and
what I say to you, I say to all stay awake.
End of chapter. So this is what I want to say.
And this is the point I want to make of

(57:27):
this whole video. This is the point all of these
clickbait things come out, flash in the pants. Everyone passes
them around. And everyone thought this in y two k
the year two thousand. Everyone, There's been many times in
history this has been thought about. These verses. People get
the Book of Revelation and they get Mark thirteen, and

(57:48):
they get all these places in the Bible that talks
about the end of times, and they put it together
like it's that movie American Treasure or Indiana Jones. And
they want to take the inner linear Bible like that
lady had, and they want to try to take these
words and just make things work and try to find
the cities of Nineveh on an x that the totality

(58:09):
of the lunar eclipse or the solar eclipses on that
they want to read this and go, look, there it is.
And Jesus says, no one knows. Sure you could know
when things are getting close, like like we take the
hint from the fig tree, we go, look, we know
when summer's coming. We know when we're getting close. And
I think there's a there's a pretty good argument that

(58:32):
you could make that says when Jesus left his disciples
that ushered in the end of times, that ushered in
when things are close. There's a lot of history before Jesus,
and there's not as much after Jesus until us. Right now,
it's only been two thousand years, So you can make
an argument that that ushered in the end. So we

(58:54):
are in the end times, and we've also been in
the end times since these guys, oh since since Mark
wrote this. A lot of people don't want to hear
that because it's not very good clickbait. It's not very
interesting to think that the last two thousand years have
all been in the end. But you can make a
really good argument with that. And I'm not saying that
you have to, and I'm not saying that I'm right.

(59:16):
I'm saying Jesus's point is stay awake. How do you
do that? He says, no one knows when that time is,
so stop trying to watch TikTok and figure it out.
My point is stay awake. Jesus says, what does that mean?
What does stay awake mean? Well, my problem with all
of those videos that no one addresses that no one
says what stay awake means? What can we do? And

(59:38):
no breaker, it does not get America to repent collectively
because that's just not going to happen. That's just that's
not reality, and it doesn't line up with anything that
we've learned about the dispersion of those in faith. So
the bottom line is to stay awake. We hear the

(59:59):
go Gospel. We saturate ourselves with the Gospel, and we
preach the gospel, and we live the gospel, and we
believe the gospel, and we grow in the Gospel. What
is the gospel? The Gospel is Holy God, creator of
all things, including solar eclipses. In order to be reconciled

(01:00:23):
to Him, to be with Him, to be among the
people when Jesus does come back, Lord willing to be
included in the people that he takes with him. To
be in the presence of God requires the perfection of God.
In order to be with God. He holds his own
standard to those people in his company, and his standard

(01:00:46):
is perfection. We failed a long time ago, our ancestors
have failed, and we have inherited that sin. Now no
one is without sin, no one is perfect. Your own conscience,
as you're listening to this or watching it, can agree
that you have messed up. You have transgressed the law. Right,

(01:01:08):
you are condemned. And if you stood in the court
of law, did you uphold the law or not? The
judge says You're guilty, and I'm guilty. God knows this,
and in his love knowing, everyone has now transgressed everyone
is condemned. No one is good. The Bible says, not

(01:01:30):
even one. All have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God. Knowing this, God kept a people for himself,
and in order to redeem those people, sent his son
the only way to be reconciled. He sent his son
to go to the cross. Ultimately, he lived a perfect

(01:01:52):
life in a way that we could not. Goes to
the cross and becomes the sacrifice. Takes that punishment as
a substitution for us, the punishment on the cross of death,
the punishment we deserved for our transgression, for rebelling against
the Holy God. He takes that upon himself so that

(01:02:15):
the penalty is paid. He becomes the substitute for that penalty.
He pays it in full. The wages of sin is death.
He takes those wages and pays it. And then he says,
turn from your life, your sin. Turn to me in faith,
trust me and my work of becoming the substitute for

(01:02:36):
your sin, because you couldn't do it. If you trust me,
you will be accredited with righteousness. Righteousness will be given
to you as a free gift. And then God looks
at you as perfect because He's looking at his son
whom you're in. Right, does that make sense? So you,

(01:02:56):
with your faith believe in Jesus and his finished work,
and then God sees you as his son. That's where
the perfection comes from, not from anything you do, not
from works. And you know this because when you're in him,
you want desperately to be more like him, and your

(01:03:16):
actions will show it. Out of love. You will act
out obedience to him in love, and that's how you'll know,
just like you'll know a good tree because it has
good fruit. You'll know that you're in Jesus because your
obedience will begin to show your love for him, not
because you earn by anything you do. It's like if

(01:03:37):
I tell you I love Amber, my wife, but I
don't show anything like love to her, then you go,
I don't think you do because your actions don't show it.
Not because your actions earn you Amber's love, but because
if you really love her naturally, the overflow of that
will be actions of loving her. So the action overflow

(01:04:00):
of obedience to Jesus is becoming more like him, listening
to him, like he says in John fourteen, if anyone
loves me, he'll keep my word, not because it earns
you anything, but because that's how my people are marked.
So in all this talk about the solar eclipse and
all is that schatology, no one talks about how to

(01:04:21):
stay awake. And to stay awake is to know what
I just told you. That is the good news. That's
what that literally, what the Gospel means good news that
whenever that end time is, whatever solar eclipse totality line
goes over whatever city, if it's Nineveh or Salem or
whatever it's called. Those of you that believe that gospel

(01:04:43):
and put their faith in Jesus, you have nothing to
worry about. Although no one knows the hour or the day,
not even the angels in heaven, you can be on
guard and you can stay awake by having faith in Jesus.
That's what you need in that's what social media should
be telling you about. April eighth. Love you guys, thanks
