looking good men kind of excited as the trend continues.
We got a picture last night, a shocker, an actual
text from Greg that alone is a shocker.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
And it almost that's lazy to give him the phone
back because there's.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
No way, that was no way, that was nothing nice
about that.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Hey Greg, good Hey, good job to in your social
media man. Uh so, uh so anyway the uh.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Can? I can? I ask?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Honestly though, if you're one of Greg's minions, does it
ruin it if he becomes like a guy.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Who posts yeah, problem, that's not really what you want
from Greg, is it? I mean, that's thank you say
that for years.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Let me tell you, can I just say this on
behalf of the whole world? Thank you for your disposition.
It's it's so joyful and and and you seem so.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Eager and encourage to come up with sure you do, beautiful,
you're right, that you're right.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
It needs to be something, you know what I mean?
Like I say, I try to concentrate. It's not that exciting.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I don't have a whole lot now, nor is mine.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
But a simple hey looking forward to a new show today,
You know, something like that.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
That's kind of where I land things. Is that I
think people need to know.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
And every now and then, I'll you know, if I
if I end up in a terble deck, I'll put
that on there.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
People love that kind of stuff.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I'm going to ask you to pull I observe some
energy because you're losing energy right now because you're not
making any impact on.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
It right almost move. Will you do me a favor
reaching Gregg's pocket and give that energy back to me.
I just gave him. You need to stop. Thank you,
Greg think he said that ten years Yeah, but anyway,
great watch this watch you face right here. So you
could have posted yesterday, uh hey Lisa's guy, but made
some breakfast with the guys and before taking it in

(04:25):
tomorrow they gonna be fired up.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Really if you did that, I think, what's going on?
My gosh, I would have said that I don't know
who has Greg's phone me, we need we need to
report it. Yeah, but I do did bring some sausage squad.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Well that's what I was gonna say. I saw that
and it was almost too good to be true. Yea,
the get them out? Yeah? Did you really you know
we have we don't have a lot. We don't have it.
We don't. We're not We're not set up like we should.
You know, we need to.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
We need to have the same attitude here that we
have at camp house, where we have everything we can
possibly need.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, so yeah, so we got to So Lisa has
swergan on mina. Lisa has sent breakfast. So Terry has
made us breakfast. Now Lisa has made us breakfast. This
is good.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
I'm going to be This gives me a little lot
of leverage here, so I don't want to just pile
in and start eating now. But I'm kind of hungry.
I am too. What is it about the fact we
know it's in there?

Speaker 6 (05:22):
It made you more?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Can I tell you this?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Let me say, I was the picture last night you
sent made me hungry. I got here today fully convinced
you have gone off and left it, which is you know,
very possible.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Then I went not.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Hungry because I didn't want to disappoint myself because I
knew Greg had left it. And then when you said no,
it's in the refrigerator and I made eye contact on it,
got hungry.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Because I am made threat.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
To leave something, especially in the morning when I'm coming
I was supposed to bring. I've made myself like a
cup of coffee and said it on the counter.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
And leave it.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Of course I'm driving. I left my coffee in the kitchen.
Do you get Do you get mad at yourself when
that happens? Yes, I get mad at myself. I left
my wallet at home one day.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I was over here, no wallet and none like Speedy,
not on purpose, Speedy never carries one. But and looking
it was like on a Friday and I was staying
over for a ball game. I mean I needed oh.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Oh absolutely before we got the text that that Lisa
had done that, which was very exciting. Uh, Terry was
making some breakfast balls. It's not protein balls. It's just
like she calls them breakfast bag. Yeah, there's some stuff
in there. I'm not too sure it.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Like is it a ball of egg and then inside
there that might be bacon, cheese, sausage anyway, as a
poster a sausage ball that has biscuit, I think they
make them with egg. Okay, I'm out on a limb.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
But there's just a pan of these breakfast balls, and
she was making them for self, and she's like, hey,
you can take a couple in if you want to,
and so I so when I woke up, there was
a sticky note and it had had balls and protein
on it. And there's a protein it's a protein shake
and the breakfast balls and that that was just her
way of reminding me, kind of like Lisa had a

(07:08):
note to remind you. So I have like maybe five
or six in a little bag for a little happy
after y'all or do you after y'all? It was just
for you or well they kind of were. But y'all
can grab one, just don't grab two.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Well, don't worry. I won't be grabbing two, I promise you.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
No.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Uh, calm down.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
What's happening?

Speaker 6 (07:32):
I'm in, I'm in.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Are you all right?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (07:34):
I'm just getting the clips together for the show.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Other than other than you setting up to take school
pictures today? And then what else are you doing?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
That's so good?

Speaker 4 (07:44):
You remember the great school picture? Oh yeah, sure, spring pictures.
I don't know that I ever made a school picture
that was worth two cents? Remember the centennial and they
made you posed with the liberty of course? What was
eleven ten, ten years old? I was seventy six, Yeah,
and I remember it was a centennial. Everybody's cranked up
about it.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Well, you know, coins you know, we've got our America
has got its two hundred and fiftieth birthday coming up?
Was it in two years or and it's coming up
close because I know we started a three year preparation
for it. And so there's things that and y'all would
just have left me on a limb that that I
have to do to help, you know, with with We

(08:26):
have a thing here that you know, does the history
of the country. It's called American Village.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Sure, and so I'm like helping with that, help promote
and our states celebrate it. But I can't pronounce it.
The two hundred and fifty it's a word. It's really
Oh you haven't heard what that's called.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
It's not it mean like centennial. Yeah, well you know
my centennial is a is a walt to the port. Yeah,
we had no price thing.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Honestly, the first time I saw it, I thought it
was a dinosaur I wasn't familiar with.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
It's got to have.

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Oh my goodness, Rick, it's semi quinn centennial.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Unbelievable, my queen.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
They keep they keep asking me to say it, They
keep asking me to say it and like commercials and stuff,
and I like, guys, I'm sorry, this is like asking
a person with no legs to win the race.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
I mean, it's got you worse than one call me
Christmas thing?

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Look at it.

Speaker 7 (09:16):
Quinn Centennials, Quinn Centennial.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
That's one called and also called the bys You think
I'm weighing off into that.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
Oh my goodness, also called the bye Ses quinnsen.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Don't you know?

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Don't you know right now when they thought to themselves
let's get a let's get a spokesperson centennial for for Alabama,
and somebody said, did we really just pick somebody from
slow class? I know, won't you go with quarter quarter?
Here's one sister Centennials?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Not bad? What about this? What about this one? Happy
two hundred and fiftieth birthday? Yeah? I think you know what?
How about that one? Let's go there, my favorite, Let's
go there. I guarantee everybody gets it, right, huh.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
So that's coming up July fourth, twenty twenty six.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Yeah, And like we're pushing it now, like I'm having
to say things about it now, the big.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Deal Elia, Yeah, you gotta get something familiar with it.
It just flows trick I think that word is one
of those things were just go.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
I don't think you can do now two hundred and
fiftieth anniversary, that'd be two hundred and fiftieth.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
That's America.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, this is the Rick Burgess show.

Speaker 8 (10:36):
Badly.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
They are the uncles your parents warned. Few of those
the Rick Bridgis Show.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah, hock you do. Here we go, glad to have
another one.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Looking at the text line, someone saying a lot about
Speedy's contribution to Breakfast Today, Thank you, buddy.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Y'all saw them, Yeah we did. They're good. That's what
I'm delicious. We got about five maybe six. Yeah, but
if you were going to break it down, that's one each. Okay,
not true.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Also, we see on the text line here's one of
the husbands. Hey, guys, my wife is going to see
Sherry Burgess yep, this weekend in Tuscaloosa. And apparently this
person is not a fan of the Tide because he
says she wouldn't be going there if it wasn't for sure.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
You're speaking so ready, Tad.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
So anyway, yes, ladies, Sherry will be in Tuscaloosa, Lord
willing uh for the brunch on Saturday at the University
Church of Christ their women's event ten am to noon.
If you want to be part of that, the details
at Burgessministries dot com under upcoming Events. Now, let me
let me point you to a lot of you are

(11:51):
doing this. First of all, let's talk about how fired
up we are at the action that the Trump administration
is taking. I mean, they've hit the ground running. I
love that they know they've got some people who oppose them,
but those people are going to pose them no matter
what they do.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
They are saying, we.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Were elected, we were given a mandate for the state
of this country, and we are taking action.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Now.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Would you like to be able to follow the first
one hundred days? Well you can if you're a member
of AMAC. This is the Association of Mature American Citizens.
Now a lot of you are responding. I'm getting emails
from some of you. Your membership includes, yes, the number
one conservative magazine in the country, but it also now

(12:36):
will include this one hundred day tracker where you can
hold this administration accountable.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
And right now I think all of us are pleased.
But you can watch the first one hundred days, which
are crucial, speedy. You've been talking about this, and I
agree with you. This administration looks.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Like they also did a good job of not waiting
to inauguration day. They were already getting things in order,
so it seems to have enabled them to hit the
ground running. So if you would like to find out more,
we're going to get you forty seven percent off of
five year membership right now.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
You get it for only thirty two dollars. Normally it's sixty.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
So why don't you go right now to amac amac
dot us slash big vox to get that deal. And
you can, of course get all the discounts and stuff
that go with that, with insurance and travel and restaurants
and all that. But that one hundred day tracker is
a biggie, So go to amac dot us slash big
vox or Rick Burgess show dot com under sponsors. All right,

(13:35):
So I want to have I want to have a discussion, guys,
and I know where I think I know where y'all
would be on this. So I'm looking at some of
the stories that Speedy has laid out and addlers gathering
some for today, and I see this one. Three star quarterbacks,
including the top MVP candidates, will take a skip on

(13:57):
the probo after failing to make the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
I don't know what to do about the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
This thing, this thing has yeah, this thing has turned
into I find the flag football thing to be embarrassing. Yeah,
And you know how sometimes you go like, right in here,
we're always very careful. There's certain things you don't say
in this room unless you want to be pummeled for
the rest of the day. Now, can you imagine you
go into a room with veterans with their gold jackets on,

(14:27):
Hall of famers standing around telling stories of when they
played football in the in the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, okay,
even even the early two thousands, and you walk in
and you're in the time where the Pro Bowl is
a flag football game, and you're gonna walk in the
room with them.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
What if you tell the monsters of the Midway?

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Yeah, right, you're gonna tell the monsters of the You're
you're gonna tell them about how Larry You're.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Gonna tell Larry Zechlers.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
You're gonna tell Larry Zanka how you played flag flo
football in the Pro Bowl game. It must be incredibly embarrassing.
And so now, which I don't blame him. These quarterbacks like, yeah,
we'll play some flag football game.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
And JJ Watt and others have been kind of critical
of those that have the honor to be named a
Pro Bowler, But I'm like y'all, especially some of those
guys that are just wrapping up and are just worn out.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
You know.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Josh Allen, he said, I'm out. You've got Lamar Jackson,
I'm out, Jaden Daniel says, I'm out. And even running
backs like Derrick Henry are not coming. James Cook is
going to replace him. So it's just I think a
lot of them is like, look, we've got competitions, We've
got the flag football game. Not really into that. I'd
rather take a vacation and just chill or something.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
We've said it, I think years ago, and I think
we need to say it again here. It's time now
for it just to become which I don't really have
a problem with a very very honorable plaque that you have.
I was an All star among the greatest football players
the world has to offer, and I made the promo

(16:08):
tam Pro Bowl Team. I have my maybe we have
a banquet like you do for the sp Awards, and
we have a Pro Bowl banquet and we award the
Pro Bowl team or something, or maybe it's just something
you just get and you put it up in your house.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
You're a pro bowler. It's a big honor.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
But us trying to tie these festivities around and have
them all go somewhere again after the season, it's obvious
they're not into it. We keep extending the season their
war out. I don't think they Obviously they're not interested
in it.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Getting hurt, even playing flag you can get hurt. Yeah,
we don't. We're not interested in it.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
I'm not interested in watching anyone play flag football, even
the best. I'm not saying flag football isn't fun, and
I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy what you know.
And I'm glad that that women are to have a
flag football league. I think that's great. But if you
asked me, do you want to get tickets and I'm
get us some good seats for the flag football game.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
No, I don't care think about that.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
I think it's good to have it, and I think
it's a good thing for little kids, and like I said,
great for females to have, you know, a version of
football that doesn't include contact.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I think all that's great.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
But it's it doesn't interest me as a fan, and
I don't think it interests them obviously, even as players.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Yeah, on a resume, you know you've got people that
you know, you go a two time Super Bowl champ, three,
three time Pro bowler or whatever. If you turn it down,
can you still call yourself a pro bowler?

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah, we break it down. You have a pro bowler?
And what's the other All Pro? All Pro? Is that
the same thing? I don't know. I thought it was
two different. I thought it was the same thing. There's
two different. Am I not if I make All Pro am,
I not in the Pro Bowl? I don't think so. Really,
I think there's there's we've discussed this before, I know,
but I can't remember. Yeah, I can't remember. Believe there
was all Pro and then there's pro bo hm hmm.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
But I mean football is just different. I mean all Pro,
all all.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
Start, All Pro is the top players at each position
for the whole league. The Pro Bowl is the top
players at each position for each of the two conferences.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
That a f C, NFC. Well that's just weird. Yeah.
So if you're pro, if you're all Pro, you're for
the whole league. I got you your position by condition,
I got you got it.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
All Pro is generally more prestigious, Uh, generally considered more
prestigious than being selected to the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
So we really don't even need the Pro bause we
have All Pro and we've tried to tweak it.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Remember we had yeah coaches, we didn't go a f
C NFC. You know, they got to pick the players.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
And I think the Mannings are still going to be
coaching the flag football teams.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Uh they'thing. Yeah, but it's just it's just such a
different sport.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
I mean, now everybody's subject to injury, Like you said,
I mean baseball, the All Star game you could have,
you know, you could get injured in that hockey, you know, basketball.
It's just you know, but football is just so different.
It's so physical. You know, guys I think are just
saying it's not worth it.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Well, it was the running back from Georgia that made
it was a Pro Bowl week and they head and
Van on the beach and he clows his knee out
and it just was never the same.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, oh wow, what was in the Edwards get ready?
He's a running back in Georgia. Well, well you touched
on it. Too speed. We've hit it before. Some sports
just don't really lend themselves to an.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
All Star game, right, and football just doesn't lend itself
to one.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
It really does. It's never really worked now and they
never have the bottom of the hour.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Time is running out.
The reviews are rolling in on the twenty twenty five
Man Church Conferences. Two powerful weekends remain Panama City, Florida

(19:47):
February twenty first and twenty second and Atlanida, Georgia, February
twenty eighth and March first. Powerful worship, high challenge, strong
equipping and beneficial fellowship with men from all all over
the country. Get your tickets for a life changing weekend
in Panama City or Atlanta now at Themanchurch dot com.

(20:08):
Discycled of Men, change everything.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
That's right, baby, Two more to go. Got some really
really great emails from a lot of you that we're
in Birmingham with us last weekend. Yeah, it really was
an incredible day and a half and two more remain
as you just heard from the Great ken Osburn and

(20:32):
we hope to see you and I think some of
you that even came to Birmingham, I mean look, I
don't know what your time frame is and all that,
or get more tickets, but you know, each each weekend
has different speakers, so you'll have a different group of
speakers in Panama City, another group of speakers in Atlanta.
Now Andy Blanks and I and Chuck Cooton and the
guys that did worship and the guys from the show

(20:55):
will be at all of them, but we'll also add
some speakers. Here's a cool couple cool emails that I got.
Here's one from Nathan. Please thank everyone involved with Team
Man Church and also the guys on the show for
an incredible weekend in Birmingham, says The weekend summed up
in one word, all caps powerful, from the worship to

(21:17):
the messages that were brought. Every single speaker was solid.
I loved this line. No opening acts with the Man
Church conference and look at this. Seeing men in the
hotel lobbies reading the Word of God and having discussions
past midnight on Friday and then getting up and starting
again on Saturday was incredible. My hope is that we

(21:39):
can take it with us, and we didn't just leave
it there. Can't wait for next year's conference. So and
then here's another one that got from Jack. Jack says,
I attended the conference this past weekend. It was probably
the most incredible thing I've ever been a part of.
Thank you guys again. I love the show, by the way,
and you've got a listener for life, so these uh,

(22:01):
I mean that I passed that along to the guys
here and into the guys on the Man Church team,
and just thank you for taking the time to encourage.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
That really does mean a lot to all of us,
really really does all right.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
So other things that we and hope to see a
lot of you at the other two that are still
to come at the end of February and into the
first of March. So we we have a number of
things to cover on the program today. By the way,
I just had the breakfast that that least the sent Wow.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
I mean really good. Yeah, it's good, really really really good.
I was really hungry early today for something. Yeah. That's
the second plate that Greg has had little squares second
second plate, where are thirty eight minutes and really if
you combine them, you could have made one plate, right, but.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
To breakfasts before six am, yes, so but you put
two plates in the microwave to heat up I'm just
saying that you're grown.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
You can do whatever you need. You are grown.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
But I asked him what the over under on plates
were today, and he said, if you were, you know,
wagering on it, maybe four or five.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Now is that the over under?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Over under five? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Whoa Greg? No, No, I'm not going five me. Come on,
there's always to four be a good line, you know,
there's almost three.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Sure, and you used to got to have room for
the breakfast balls at the Speedy Broo.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Yeah, that's I'll go eat you up one in a second.
I'm good. By the way, A little different, Terry says,
it's a healthy cher. It's great.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
I also got the follow up did y'all get a
ton of email yesterday? Speaking of you know, one of
our favorite topics has always been food.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Did you get did you get the follow up yesterday
of all the.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
People commenting on sausage balls being made with the mix
from Red Lobster, Red Lobster. Yeah, well it was a
little bit everything. Yeah, most of it was that it
was good. I think we I'd like to try it.
I think we spooked the person who's coming. I think
we spooke to her going to back back to more
traditional But well, I didn't mean to do that.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
You didn't mean you spent I don't remember the worst one,
But what do you mean you didn't.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
We were extremely open minded. But I mean, it's.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
So so you're saying that I just shouldn't. I'm a
bit of a purist when it comes to that. And
that's fine, and this couldn't be disconsidered something a little different.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
I thought.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
I thought some people calling me a sausage balls Nazi
was a little bunch.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
They said that they were like.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
Red good night. You're just not open to any kind
of variation on them.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Yeah, and but I am. I mean it was sometimes.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
You know, I've told my kids this and I remember
was a little different way it was told to us,
and we were growing up. But but but I remember
the famous try new things and and this.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Was always my deal that growing up, Yes you were.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
I was always as a parent now and it's kind
of where were not a not a big disagreement on
parents between the dad and the mom, the husband and
the wife. My deal is, I totally agree we need
to try new things.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Now.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
I need to practice that in my own life, and
I am and I have. But I am not a
person that if the person tries it and then doesn't
like it, that you force them to eat it anyway.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Yeah, I'm not in that camp.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
I mean, if they've tried now, I'm like, you're not
gonna sit there and not try it. But if somebody
tries it, even your kid, and they hate it, yeah,
I mean some people just don't like certain things, you know,
And so I never did the you know that's ridiculous,
you're gonna eat that anyway? Now, I just I didn't
go that far with it. No, I was absolutely, you're

(25:42):
not gonna sit there and not try it. We're gonna
try new things. My mom's listening, she may eat the
English peas.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
I kept trying to hide them under the mashed potatoes,
but she knew they were there.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Sure. Yeah, I say it myself. I just really really
because I remember when I was a kid.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Even though I know we'll try it, well, some things
just look weird and I don't want to try it.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Of that I don't want to. Yeah, like mushrooms, I
just don't.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
I mean something now like nowadays, But I'm talking about
when I was a kid. I would look at stuff
and go I'm not trying it because I can look
at it until I don't like it. Yeah, I was
probably wrong.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
But don't as an adult though by its cover, Greg
don't judge.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Maybe well, some things are are visually troubling, you know,
and visually stuff, I mean, it's usually something really radical
as an adult that I'm not trying. There's certain foods
that that I'm sure tastes good, but I'm afraid I'm
gonna have to eat them blindfolded.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
And now I have had something at a restaurant that
I branched out and I never would have ordered, but
Terry's like, no, let's try it, and it was delicious,
and I'm.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Like, wow, what about when it goes the otherwise?

Speaker 5 (26:43):
I know that's tough, you know, But as far as
these red lobster sausage balls, right, I'm open to it.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
I mean, everybody knows. Everybody knows.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Everybody knows that the you know, the recipe that we
have you know on the website and all that we understand.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
They they're they're in another cat you're.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Talking about, right, But I think if people are bringing
in their special recipe or something they do real well,
I think that's okay. She doesn't have to be your
sausage balls all the time.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Kind of falls on what you said about try it
if you know you're right. I'm open to try it.
Absolutely I am. Here's some other people, forget it. Here's
some people, Kevin. They are fantastic when done right.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Rick.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Now, I know they aren't now in us, but you
got to give them a shot.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
That's how that's how we do them at my house.
That's good. That's a good email. I like that email.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Here's another one listening today or talking about sausage balls.
I love sausage balls. Never had them with red lobster
biscuit mix until my girlfriend made some. And hey, Rick,
they were great, Like he was gonna tell her they weren't.
You make them just like the regular ones that we used. Well,
I got that, buddy, but he said, talking down to
I'm sorry I did.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
I am a sausage ball nazi. Let's not call it that.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Well, let's say curious what I'm talking about the Seinfeld episode,
no suit for you.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I know, but I just don't.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
But anyway, he says, I also will be in the
Vox seats coming up on the twenty eighth oh cool, Okay, March,
she's talking about Mark. I hope they bring something anything good. Grace,
is anything left in March?

Speaker 2 (28:18):
No, we're done. It's sold out.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
All right, here we go. That was quick, and now
here's Erica. Okay, here's Erica. Thank you so much for
taking my question. Seriously.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
I will be bringing them how I make them. I
won't let you down. What does that mean? That means
she's going to bring them the way she said she
was with the But does she make them? Does she
make them that way? She does?

Speaker 5 (28:43):
That's what she's go back to the original email.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
I will be I will be in the.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Vox seats next Friday. I'm bringing saucess balls. How do
you feel about red lobster biscuit? Means okay, here it is.
I make mine that way.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Okay, that's it. She says, it the way you make it,
and we'll be the judge. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
She also say all right. She also said it will
be my thirty ninth birthday.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
You're right, but again again, bring thirty nine saucry balls in.
That's a lot tremendous amount of pressure. So you don't
like them anyway? How do you got why do you care?
How many there.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
Well, how about this, I'm gonna try them. And but
here's the thing, let's just be let's get let's get real.
There's no scenario that I tried them with this wonderful
kind person and say not my thing.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
I mean, I can't do that.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
I mean, let's say here, right, and I'm sure she'll agree.
Let's say that you're taking a pact that we have
to be honest. If they're not any good, we gotta
tell her. Okay, I'm in you in no way. We'll
stick to that. But shouldn't we just be nice?

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Yeah? I mean, wait, you.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Had about three segments talking about these sausage balls, and
now you're saying, let's be nice.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah, what if you walked in and what anybody wrong?
You had them? You pointed out what was good? What? What?

Speaker 4 (30:09):
What if the one thing we did on the on
the new show it was a new experience. Yeah, when
you come in here, if we don't like it, we
tell you, Yeah, what's your face that you give when
you don't like something?

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Can you hide it? You got a poker face that's
not I so your nostrils go out, shake my head.
I'd rather have checks mixed without smoke flavor too. I
want to try people.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
Not bring you.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
This is the Rick Burgers Show.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Okay, now I'm getting feedback. I'm getting feedback on the
movie Brave the Dark. You're you're digging it, aren't you?

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Yeah? Absolutely loving it. So, so right now, if you
go to angel dot com slash Rick, uh, find out
everything you need to know about Brave the Dark. This movie,
it really is a great movie.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
It's got a kid that everybody in the whole wide
world's giving up and it would be really easy to
give up on him. He keeps making some pretty bad decisions.
He comes from a bad situation, got a lot of
obstacles that normally would say, look, this kid's going nowhere.
But there's a teacher that just believes in this kid
and will not give up on him. You won't believe
how far he goes for this young man, and he

(31:20):
believes that he is valuable and that he is worth
whatever he has to do to give the kid his
best shot. So if you'd like to see this, maybe
you can relate to the story. You know, boy, if
you're a teacher or coach, you really will, So go
right now to angel dot com slash Rick angel dot com.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Slash Rick for the movie Brave the Dark. You're gonna
love it.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
The people who don't like this show you wouldn't like anyway.
The Rick bugis show.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
I mean, yeah, come on, he wants to hang with him?
Much to do as we move forward on a brand

few hours after we do it live.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
All right, So yes, sir, I have two questions. Two questions, alright, go.

Speaker 5 (32:57):
Ahead, Terry Will for the first one, Harry, we were
on a walk last night and I think showing the
old picture of wedding day for us. Oh yes, she said,
you know, I think I want you to grow your
hair back out. And I said, first of all, thank
you for this, for this gift, I said, I don't.
First of all, I don't think I have much. It's

(33:18):
gonna be Horseshoe City.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (33:21):
But so I'm thinking about maybe after the Stallions because
I'm stadium guy again for them, and forgot.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
I don't really know that I want that because I
don't know shoe Stallion.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
Oh that's pretty good, but I just don't know what
it's going to look like. And so but I might
could commit to it during the summer just to see it. No, no, no,
then i'd have what what's it?

Speaker 2 (33:47):
You know?

Speaker 5 (33:47):
Blair and Karen used to have all the names for
the mullets that what was that?

Speaker 2 (33:50):
One horse? Horse?

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
I don't know anyway, there's a scullet. Yeah, is that
what it is? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah, you have the ball and that and the mullied
in and somebody somebody on the text line literally just
text has Speedy ever had any hair?

Speaker 5 (34:08):
And that's what made me think of yes he has.
We showed a picture of yesterday and so anyway. So
I'm contemplating it. But she's like, you know, I think
I I think I want you to graw your hair
out come from I don't from her seeing that picture, know,
but I'm like, honey, that was twenty five years ago.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
How did that make you feel? It made me feel?

Speaker 5 (34:28):
I don't know, because I've never had I've always had
thin hair anyway.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
But I mean we did it never creep in. My
wife's basically tell me she wish I looked different.

Speaker 7 (34:36):
Well, you know, I think this is this is the
equivalent of my wife saying I wish you were taller
to me, I don't think it can happen.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Well that's a really good point. Yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
I'm sorry, right, well you know that. That's just like
she asked me to shave my facial hair and then
I did, and she said no, put it back on,
you know, and I'm like, no, it's going to take
a second.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
I got to grow by that happened to me. But
I think.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
I might try to, but I think it become a comedy.
I've been on vacation before and like for the week
not shaved, and I start looking a little weird.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Pre please speedy. Please. The reason why I feel hair
you have, please.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
The reason I'm still bald is because after I shaved
it in live in studio, she said, hey, keep that.
I like that look, which told me that I had
really bad hair. Well, I want you to I want
you to be careful. Yeah, I want you to be careful.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
So weird.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
So I watched and already i'd already seen it. But
I watched again that documentary that Ryan Greenwood sent you
and me, but i'd seen it before. But you know
that drummer that I can't think of his name, is
that the one that played with John Cougar, Mellen Camp
and I think with Sam Hayguard Now said, yes, he
is with Sammy. Now, you're right, And he's played with
various people. So I noticed that. Normally, when you see

(35:58):
an older musician and they show him back in the day,
he looks better for him, he actually looks worse when
you go back, because there was time he was playing
with the horseshoe and now he's just bald and where sunglasses,
and he actually looks cooler now as a drummer than
he did when he was younger. So I just want
to caution you you. You got a pretty cool look.
You've settled into it, you know, older, speedy, you know,

(36:20):
it's kind of I mean, you've established this look and
it's worked for you.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Look speedy. Please, what did you do?

Speaker 8 (36:29):
What?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
What? What? How did you google that picture?

Speaker 6 (36:31):
I googled balding, redhead, long hair.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Thank you, thank you. Well.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
Now, I've always had a challenge that Ryan Greenwood asked
me to make years ago. He's going to be so
and that was, have Greg shave his head and I'll
grow hair tremendous. And Greg has never been up for
him and he's he has actually stood in the door
and said, no way, I.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Got a big old head. So, like I said, a
lot of there's only a few people that I know
nowadays that people are doing that have no business doing that.
The slickballd. No, you're right. Not every head can pull that. No,
you're right. I see a lot of people. I go, yeah,
I don't think I would look I think I'd look
really bad. Yeah, he's got a good head.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
For what if we all did something different, every one
of us. You went slick face, Oh that's not I
grow hair, you shave your head?

Speaker 2 (37:20):
What could Adler do? I do?

Speaker 6 (37:21):
Mustache.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
No, buddy, that's not much of a difference. Difference, it's
not what he said.

Speaker 7 (37:30):
He got a big thing, this thick, magnificent beer to
a mustache, big change.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
You get a buzz cut. I don't want to flat
top yep, yep.

Speaker 6 (37:40):
I what if? No a mullet.

Speaker 5 (37:42):
But none of us are comfortable with what we're doing,
so you can't be comfortable.

Speaker 7 (37:45):
I can't go buzz cut because eventually I'm going to
have to go buzz cut.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
And is why he claims he's losing his hair, and
he's said that for ten years and he never has well.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Medication for it was.

Speaker 7 (37:57):
I got off of it because remember that some other stuff,
well you remember that side effect?

Speaker 5 (38:02):
It was I'll go bald instead. Yes, exactly right. Somebody
brought up a good one here. This is Mark Wahlberg
new movie where he has that horseshoe.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Look, I saw you say that, Yeah, I did. I
have seen it. That's weird. So are you gonna do that?
I don't know. I don't know. So I have to
find my line here.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
I think it's right here, and then I think I'll
have a little spot on the top of my head.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
You definitely will.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
I think I asked you a little road as it's
gonna it's gonna come right here.

Speaker 5 (38:31):
Yeah, right there, Yeah, like this and then this is
gonna be opened.

Speaker 7 (38:35):
But you do have a good head for being bald,
you do, because look at this guy right here, and
this is a photo shot, but it's so close. It's
so similar. But one is good and one is bad.
You know, just a little too much forehead on the right.

Speaker 6 (38:48):
There, Yeah, exactly, and I'm in the too.

Speaker 7 (38:50):
Much forehead category, speedy, you got just just enough forehead.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
But I think you're gonna I mean.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
No, imna, look like the guy on the right.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Do you agree the smaller the head the better. Yeah, yeah,
I'm poor.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
What's the sports guy? Oh yeah, yeah, Sean McDonough that
his name. I don't know. He calls I will tell you.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
I think I think booger McFarland's ahead is not not
set up.

Speaker 6 (39:16):
For Ballca's not bad. I mean that's not that's not.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
A bad one. No, that's that's the good picture. Side
view is bad. Okay, are you you're letting the booger
McFarland thing go? Yeah, we've discussed that.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Plus he has these wrinkles right for you. Yes, thank
you for pointing that out. I'm never leaving the ring
again with y'all. I'm afraid of all that boger looks good?
Do you you think burger looks good? When's the last
time you had a bog McFarland.

Speaker 7 (39:42):
Let's say that booger McFarlane he did used to have hair,
by the way, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Oh yeah, much better better, that's much better. Anyway.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
I'm entertaining the idea, and Terry and I will talk
more about it. I like, what if you go crazy
and let it do? You won't know if I do,
I'd probably keep it buzzed. But then I have that
light reddish hair. You probably would't even know it's Have you.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Taken it any text Ryan Greenwood about this because you
know this is gonna make this day?

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Oh yeah, thank you Adler.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
This is the Rick Burgess show.

Speaker 9 (40:27):
I want to get away.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Only in America?

Speaker 3 (40:40):
Could these four men do this for a living God
bless America? This is a Rick Burgess show.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Here we go, speedy, Greg Adler all here as we
are hanging out together, and thank you for joining us.
You know you're pretty much here. What it sounds like
for us to hang out anytime. It's just five hours
a day. We turn a microphone on and say, join us.

(41:10):
Appreciate all your feedback. Thank you, either on the text
line or the emails. If you were ever wondering how
to get in touch with us, all the different ways
to do that, you can find those at Rickburgessshow dot com,
Rick Burgesshow dot com. Everybody's Instagram is there, the X
accounts are there, the email is there, and you can
find all that by just clicking on the staff or

(41:32):
the team or whatever it says I can't remember with
the title is where you see all of us contacts
also there with some information as well. All right, So
one of the things I know we've been talking about
is that if you remember, Trump signed the executive order
that he is going to release and declassify everything that

(41:54):
revolves around the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy,
and Martinleu the King Junior. So everybody said, hey, we're
gonna we're gonna have We're gonna finally see these things.
Here is an article today from Fox News by Hailey
Is it chising or something?

Speaker 2 (42:15):
She says not so.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
Fast don't don't get overly hyped about this, because we've
been here before. Now, there's no doubt that Trump ordered
the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General to
review the related documents and present a plan for their
full and complete release within forty five days. Now, that
did happen. And of course Trump promised on his campaign

(42:39):
to declassify the documents if he got a second term.
But if you remember, he also was going to do
that in his first term, but then he decided not
to and he said, remember this quote, I have no choice.
He cited potentially irreversible harm to national security if he

(43:03):
allowed these records to be released.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Has that changed? At one time he said, I've seen them.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
I really wanted to release them, But now that I've
seen them, I don't think that's wise.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
But now he says, do it. So what do you
guys think on that?

Speaker 4 (43:19):
It seems I heard one time that I think that
it added in there also there were people who were
still alive, right, that it would affect right and that
maybe they were waiting for.

Speaker 5 (43:29):
The Yeah, because when he didn't do it, and he
gave that reasoning that you talked about, Rick, we talked
about on the show what's he scared of? What's his concern?
And that was the mystery. You know, what is it
that was so important or so bad that he was like, yeah,
we need to wait.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
Well, And the person writing the article says, just so
everybody knows, this is not the first time that the
JFK files have been expected to be released. Congress previously
passed the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of
nineteen ninety two, mandating that all records be housed in

(44:06):
a single collection and released within twenty five years, barring
any postponements for security reasons. So we've been trying to
get these out to the public for a while now
and it still hasn't happened. So I think the warning
here is he may be completely sincere. He obviously has

(44:27):
taken the action that says they have to be released
in forty five days. But this journalist here is saying,
we've been here before. Yeah, so I don't get to it.
Just just understand that that doesn't mean it's going to happen.
So be interesting to see. And because if we go

(44:48):
back to the first term of Trump, he I mean,
here's the quote. It's in the story he said, I
had every intention to, but now that I've looked at it,
I understand why they don't want me to. Yeah, reversible
security damage or something. What's changed?

Speaker 2 (45:03):
Said? What's so bad in it? To your point, Greg?

Speaker 5 (45:06):
Is it that they're trying to protect those you know
that have family that's still alive or whatever, or is
it so much is it so bad that there would
be so much damage done.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
That I'm like, Yo, if he couldn't do it, then
well he chose not to.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
What's different now? So it's probably not going to be released.

Speaker 4 (45:28):
On that note, Greg, you do realize that RFK we're
now doing his confirmation hearing today.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
Yeah, today? Are you going to be dialed into that?
My friend? I just saw the headlines of some one
of the family members is trashing him. Yeah, of course,
of course, pulling out text like he's anti vaxxs. But
he yet his kids were getting vaccinated or something. Yeah,
I can't remember.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
I have Well, again, I don't know this specific situation,
but I have been called anti vacts as well, because
I'd like for us to handle vaccinations responsibly.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
That's not anti vacts. That is the safely vacxed. Yeah
and so, but you know, you get thrown outtivacts.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
You know, that's one thing I love about this change
that America's made. I mean, we entered into a society
that to question anything you immediately were told to go
stand over in the corner and that you're some radical.
Of course, a lot of us that were ostracized and
really sometimes broken down so much that we thought, well,
maybe we're wrong. We realize now that everything that the

(46:32):
concerns that were being posed by many talking now about
the pandemic and the vaccination, well they were absolutely accurate.
And we didn't get into the arena of ideas and
say let's have a discussion about it. You were told
what you could say and what you couldn't say, and
if you said certain things then you were not allowed
to have a job, you were not allowed to speak,
you couldn't be on social media. And now a lot

(46:56):
of those people, as we see Trump trying to you know,
remedy that a lot of people who got put away
were right.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
They were actually telling the truth.

Speaker 6 (47:08):
They were doing their own research. Right, Yeah, how dare
us do our own research?

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Well that thinking for yourself will take you nowhere.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
YEA that used to be called reading you know what
else used to be called being American?

Speaker 2 (47:19):
Right.

Speaker 4 (47:20):
That used to be one of the things we prided
ourselves on is that, you know, we it is the people,
and we think for ourselves, and we have maximum liberty
and freedom to maximize our god given potential.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
And then it turned into we looked a lot like
the places that we used to consider, you know, unworthy
that we didn't want to be part of. Yeah, and
that's an interesting thing too, Sherry. My wife said something
yesterday and I was like, you know, that is a
great point. She said, you know, like the Selena Gomez
crying thing. She said, do any of these people ever

(47:53):
stop to think about what they're saying? Because so many
times they will take our country and talk about how
horrible we are and they can't wait to leave. But
then when people are sent back to even places that
y'all tell us are better, we we at like that,
we that they have been tortured because we simply teld

(48:15):
them to go back to where they lived. Is where
they live so bad that we have to cry that
that that you you were telling us that being here
is a horrible this why would you want them to live?
Now you're crying because people are getting to leave. We're
forcing them out of this horrible country back to this
wonderful place that's supposed to be better than where we are.

(48:37):
I mean, is Mexico that bad? I mean, is going
back to you know, these Latin American countries?

Speaker 6 (48:44):
Is it that horrible?

Speaker 4 (48:47):
At one time we were we were lifting them up
like you know this, And I agree with wonderful culture,
wonderful people, a great way of life in a lot
of places. So you can't have it both ways. You
can't say to be here is horrible and then for
people to be you know, deported away from here, that's
that's horrible too.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
If this place is great, I'll talk to you about that.
M h. But again, you got to you got to
be legal.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
But do you realize how disrespectful it is to people
that live in these countries that we're crying on social
media that people have got to go back to these places.

Speaker 2 (49:23):
We're not putting them in jail.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
I mean, we're not putting them, you know, into concentration camps.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
We're just sending them back to their country if they.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
Choose to put them in something because of what they've
done in the past. Real that's kind of on them.

Speaker 7 (49:36):
There is, and we broke down the numbers yesterday of
how Obama was deporting people at at a higher rate
than Trump actually did during his administration. I also want
to mention that America has the highest level in the
entire planet of legal immigration and illegal immigration. We are
an outlier and the number of people that we allowed
into our country legally and illegally and in a lot

(49:59):
of ways, we're suck for it.

Speaker 6 (50:00):
So don't fall for it.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
Well, the new Press secretary is pulling no punches, and
we just heard from Ault Adler. I have a challenge
for Adler. We'll see if he accepts. Okay, it has
to do with that. What do you have to do? Nothing?
What you might though? What about you though? We'll be
right back.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Okay, So we've seen the headlines.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Every time we turn around, there's some kind of cyber
attack on the power grids, the drones in the sky.
Do you believe the explanation we just got? Maybe maybe
not violent attacks on everyday Americans. The ugly truth is, yes,
we're glad that we have a new leader, but honestly,
society is the problem, and sometimes there's no leader, no

(50:47):
system that can protect us from everything. The last thing
that we want is to be standing in line depending
on help that may never come. So when crisis hits,
food is always the first casualty. Everybody good, he needs it,
and panic buying makes things even worse. We saw this
in the pandemic. People went crazy and just to start
taking everything. So that's why I make sure the family

(51:09):
is prepared and we have them ready to go at
camp house and even where we live. My patriots supplied
their four week emergency Root Emergency food kit is crucial.
It gives you the nutrition that you need to stay
strong in a crisis, because not only do you need food,
you need the right food, the right nutrition two thousand
calories a day, one hundred percent of your daily value
of twelve essential vitamins and minerals, so you're staying healthy,

(51:32):
you're staying strong. The kit keeps you going when every
meal is going to matter. So right now they're offering
fifty dollars off their four week food kit. Go to
prepare with Burgess. That's what two s is. Prepare with
Burgess dot com now to get yours, and don't put
this off. Now is the time to prepare that's prepared
with Burgess dot com to get your four week food

(51:54):
kit today and peace of mind.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
Do you have your Rick Burgess Show swag? Check out

Speaker 2 (52:24):
You can also text if you want the link right.

Speaker 4 (52:27):
To you, just text store to eight eight eight six
two four four eight six ' nine.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
And that's six big box.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
All right.

Speaker 4 (52:36):
So a couple of things are so you said, Adler,
we're going to talk about this new press secretary that
it was Babylon b having fun. Press doesn't know what
to do because they have experienced their press secretary that
takes and answers questions. But anyway, your ring Binder right,
you wanted to talk to you. You had a dare
for ad Yeah, it's a dare or more of a

(52:58):
challenge challenge too.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Could you queue up to.

Speaker 5 (53:01):
C and I think this will set up my challenge
for him if you don't mind. It has to do
with Caroline Levitt, who is the new press secretary and
something that she said they're implementing in this administration, and
then we can talk about it after he plays.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
Are we saying her name right? Caroline Levitt? Is it Levitt?
That's what I heard it. You know, we struggle with names.

Speaker 10 (53:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
I don't think it's Leaving.

Speaker 6 (53:23):
I think it's Levit. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Got a little bit of a bumster yesterday from Adler.
Thank you?

Speaker 6 (53:27):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (53:27):
Homan versus Harmon, I honestly still don't know because I've
heard it both ways. And you guys ever come up
with like a trick in your mind to help you
remember things, and so it's Tom Harmon. I'm like, oh
it rhymes or did I say it doesn't rhyme? And
you know what I'm saying, like you try to make
a mental trick and to remember this, like the.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
I T guy is Brett forever because I finally found
mine with him. Okay, it was far. I should have
come out right, Michael, no end in that one. That's easy.

Speaker 6 (53:57):
All right, here's tuc.

Speaker 11 (53:59):
We also again encourage anybody in this country, whether you
are a TikTok content creator, a blogger, a podcaster, if
you are producing legitimate news content, no matter the medium,
you will be allowed to apply for press credentials to
this White House. And as I said earlier, our new
media website is white House dot gov slash new media,

(54:23):
and so we encourage people to apply again. As long
as you are creating news related content of the day,
and you're a legitimate independent journalist, you're welcome to cover
this White House.

Speaker 5 (54:34):
Adler, And that is my challenge. Can alt Adler? Yes,
get in that press core and when Caroline looks around
goes yes sir, and you say yes, I'm.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
Burger Show. Yes, yeah, please, you're in.

Speaker 7 (54:52):
I did hear some sticking points that you had It said,
legitimate news content?

Speaker 4 (54:57):
Well, this is what are we doing now? We're playing
you do legitimate news content?

Speaker 1 (55:02):
Do I?

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Uh, well the show does.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:05):
You would represent the show the fine with legit. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (55:08):
The how legitimate does it have to be? Is my question.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
We're breaking down what do we doing.

Speaker 6 (55:15):
We're a journalists.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Everybody knows that we're talking about the news of the
day right now. We're doing it.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Now.

Speaker 6 (55:21):
If you think I can get in, I'll try to
get going to the what do they do?

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Do we think we know?

Speaker 6 (55:25):
Okay, all right, I got to make it happen.

Speaker 5 (55:27):
Then what was it white House dot gov slash new Media.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
Yeah, that's the one. I think you need to fill
out a form. Put in that.

Speaker 4 (55:35):
How big a coverage the show has, all the different platforms.
I'm telling you, they're gonna let you.

Speaker 5 (55:39):
If you could be in that press room and ask
a question, yeah, come on.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
And she even went to the back of the room
yesterday in the back.

Speaker 4 (55:47):
Yeah, yeah, what Greg if we if we look on
TV and just like he looks and just what he
wears to work, he said, yeah, in the back, yeah,
Chris ed even Abler from the Rick Burgess Show. You
probably know me his ault Tadler. Hey, and then ask
the question, Yeah, maybe you could.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
Carry a little stool with you. I'm sorry, but to
stand that way. See, we had built him up and
had him ready to go. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (56:18):
Yeah, I just think this is our chance. And look,
there's people texting right now saying they they get their
news from us, which is concerning, but they do, but
they do, and so put we get right to it.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Put that in your form. Okay.

Speaker 4 (56:32):
I honestly think that you've got a platform here that
they would want you to be covering this administration straight up.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Okay, let's got to Chris Adler in the back.

Speaker 4 (56:42):
Yeah, Chris, you'll become like Doocy Peter. Hang on, a man,
I want to talk to Chris about this.

Speaker 6 (56:47):
Okay, Chris, Okay, I'll be like, so, kareem tell me.

Speaker 2 (56:52):
No correct administration. Last Minute's Caroline has nothing to do
with color. Actually answers questions.

Speaker 5 (57:01):
Okay, all right, well and uh and we have plenty
of those back and forth from yesterday. But I just
saw this and and I was listening to it live,
and when she said that, the first person I thought
of was.

Speaker 6 (57:11):
A sobsolutely got to get in there.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Yeah, that's your challenge. Yes, can you get in there? Okay?

Speaker 4 (57:17):
And looking because of your kids and everything, we can rotate.
We'll send Speedy some Okay, we will not send Greg.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
No. No, that's a good idea. No.

Speaker 5 (57:26):
I just think if we go, we could even turn
it into something. Maybe the show does another show from
the White House. I don't know, I know, but talk
to Trump again.

Speaker 4 (57:34):
Why don't you work the angle and we'll just go
for her and I'll do the show. Yeah, and up
there too and that way. Yeah, but if you're no,
you can go.

Speaker 5 (57:44):
If you could be wearing that that credential Padler says,
White House Press corps to dress up.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
Yeah, when you see some of those journalists, my goodness,
someone like they sleep on the floor.

Speaker 2 (57:55):
That's true. Get you down. I use the word journalists loosely.

Speaker 6 (57:59):
I got my nice Kirk and signature sweater on. I
could wear that.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
That look good.

Speaker 5 (58:05):
I think you make the initial official request and then
we also work channels on making that request.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Maybe move to the top.

Speaker 5 (58:12):
Yeah, but you're in, because she said if she even
had two journalists there that had not even had credentials
to that room.

Speaker 2 (58:19):
Yesterday, that she asked questions to Yes.

Speaker 7 (58:22):
Quick question here I have heard and can you confirm
are they really turning the frogs gig like that kind
of question.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
Yes, stuff, people want to know. You're gonna have talk
to him easy now, there's we can find other ways
that we're not going to send them. People said they
need this show live from mar A Largo. Fun question.

Speaker 7 (58:42):
Yeah, I'm gonna ask the tough questions that people want
to know the answer to, like, for example, who was
the president for the last four years?

Speaker 6 (58:50):
Okay, because it was invited literally tell.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
Us hey yes, Chris, yeah, and Chris here with the
Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 4 (58:58):
Hey, Caroline, not good to talk to you again. Hey,
do you feel the pressure that America has given you
a mandate to see it through no matter the resistance.
I'd just like to talk about, you know, are we
gonna are you seeing progress and the things that you
guys committed to? Tell us a little bit about that.

(59:19):
And then you start off like that, and then then
you come back with would you would you use the
red lobster biscuit mix with your sausage balls?

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Good idea about out of there? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (59:29):
Yeah, okay, that's good.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
That's good.

Speaker 7 (59:31):
And then what about like, uh, you know, Seth Rich
leaked d NC emails and then he was killed in
the streets of Washington, d C. Right after that and
they didn't take his wallet or anything. Any comments on that.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
So you're going back to that kind of stuff? Yeah,
you know, well, I think everything this will be big
right now. The JFK.

Speaker 4 (59:48):
We know you guys desire Carolyn to release them. The
President has been clear about that. But we've heard this before.
Do you think we will actually see these things?

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Yeah? Is the president confident?

Speaker 12 (01:00:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
And then what again, how'd you like that one?

Speaker 13 (01:00:03):
That's good?

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
And she's look, she's only twenty seven years old, and
she's the youngest to ever have that position, right, And
she talked about, you know, connecting with the young Americans,
and I think you're the youngest one on the staff.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
I think it's a natural there we go. I think
I think you get in.

Speaker 7 (01:00:21):
Adler and do I ask about like the Mali fires
in California?

Speaker 6 (01:00:24):
Was that was it space lasers.

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
Or was it an alien? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:00:27):
Alien laser?

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
I think that's a good question.

Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
Was it lasser? Was the aliens?

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
La?

Speaker 7 (01:00:32):
By the way, they told us what the dogs are
not telling us and lying about.

Speaker 3 (01:00:36):
This is the Rick Burgers Show. Did you miss part

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):

Speaker 4 (01:01:01):
So Adler will probably be part of the press core
for the new administration.

Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
I think that was a nice catch Speedy on that.

Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
Maybe a door of opportunity opening up Field of Greens
teaming up with the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
We love this product. We all love it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
Hey, he's a game changer. I love the energy that
it brings. You know why the body is operating better.
It's really simple. It's getting the fuel that it was
designed to run on. You know you've heard this before. Hey,
the body needs these important fruits and vegetables, and we've
heard this on nutrition for years, but it's not that

(01:01:42):
easy to do and hard to get it into your diet.
But with Field of Greens it happens. I do two
scoops a day, that's that's the max. If you'd rather one,
may be enough for you. Two scoops.

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
Another reason, it's important when my body's getting the proper
neutral and it's also going to have a stronger immune system.
And boy, now more than ever, that may be the
thing we need to concentrate on the most. That's our
best defense, and it's all the different viruses and stuff
that's out there. So why don't you go right now
to fieldogreens dot com. We're going to get you savings.

Speaker 12 (01:02:19):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:02:19):

they're so committed that this is going to make a

the country. Fieldofgreens dot com then use our code big
Vox and you get twenty percent off. There's also a
link at Rick Burgess show dot com under sponsors. Okay,
some people are saying, if we get in and we've
become part of the press core with the true administration,

(01:03:00):
people want Gary as well. I just we can't just
keep adding people. Hey, can I ask you something?

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Caroline? Are you are you trying to chattle America that
maybe we can have something?

Speaker 4 (01:03:11):
So here's what she basically says. Here she is this
press secretary. It didn't take long for her to establish
how it was going to go. So here she is
talking about the Trump administration. They're now the ones that
have been put into power by the people. And here's
what's taking place here, she is.

Speaker 11 (01:03:31):
It's an honor to be here with all of you.
A lot of familiar faces in the room, a lot
of new faces, and President Trump is back and the
golden age of America has most definitely begun.

Speaker 4 (01:03:42):
Well, there we go I mean, maybe we can have
something so we will see. So she didn't take long
either to establish that she was going to be no nonsense,
you know, which that should if you're going to be
press secretary for the Trump administration, especially two point zero
it is we're going to just say things as they are.

(01:04:04):
And you've seen JD. Vance do the same thing. You know,
the famous is it? Frankly, Margaret, I don't care. Is
that this thing ereboy keeps talking about there? I don't care,
Margaret or whatever. I think I'm combining going with a win.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Right, Frankly, Margaret, I couldn't give.

Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
But anyway, here she is, when she's just listened to
the question about how many people that we've deported that
are in our country illegally, here we go.

Speaker 14 (01:04:29):
Can you just tell us the numbers how many have
a criminal record versus those who are.

Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
Just in the country illegally.

Speaker 11 (01:04:34):
All of them because they illegally broke our nation's laws,
and therefore they are criminals as far as this administration goes.
I know the last administration didn't see it that way.
So it's a big culture shift in our nation to
view someone who breaks our immigration laws as a criminal.

Speaker 6 (01:04:46):
But that's exactly what they are.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
And we are off and running. It's just what's happened here.

Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
The woman's question. The woman's question contradicted itself.

Speaker 7 (01:04:58):
Yeah, what about the ones that don't have a criminal record,
that are here illegally?

Speaker 10 (01:05:02):
I know.

Speaker 5 (01:05:02):
Yeah, the press Corps has come alive. You know, for
four years they've sat there and let that administration get.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
Away with lives.

Speaker 5 (01:05:09):
Now suddenly they want to ask questions like the price
of eggs. He's been in for eight days.

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Right right, we got a bird flu going come down,
So I'm kind of open now, an you just want
to row them in order here.

Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
Did y'all want to do drones?

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
Oh? Yeah? What?

Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
What was just that we now know the answer on
the drunes? Y'all made the point going to the break. Yeah,
we could not get an answer from the last administration.
I mean even they almost had this. I don't know,
they were presenting themselves like yeah, I don't know. But
now that the Trump administration has been in for a
very short time, we're now told about the drones.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Yeah, before I.

Speaker 11 (01:05:44):
Turned to questions, I do have news directly from the
President of the United States that was just shared with
me in the oval office from President Trump directly an
update on the New Jersey drones. After research and study,
the drones that were flying over New Jersey and large
numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for

(01:06:04):
research and various other reasons. Many of these drones were
also hobbyists, recreational and private individuals that enjoy flying Jones.
In meantime, in in time, it got worse due to curiosity.

Speaker 6 (01:06:19):
This was not the enemy.

Speaker 11 (01:06:21):
A statement from the President of the United States to
start this briefing with some news and with that, I
will turn it over.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Oh wow, wait a minute, here we go just tell
them something. Yeah, well, come on, guys, to watch out.

Speaker 7 (01:06:39):
These drones have the lights on them required by the FAA.

Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
Well then why didn't they just say that?

Speaker 6 (01:06:49):
They just let.

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
It look cracking.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
I mean, look, let's let's don't just fall all over
our sales decide I like said it, it must be true.

Speaker 6 (01:06:59):
Well that's true. I never want of us live that way.
That's one hundred percent right.

Speaker 5 (01:07:03):
But at least they are. The last administration stood there
with hung in his stairs.

Speaker 6 (01:07:07):
We had governors being like, what is this. Hey, I'm
the governor of the state. I don't know what this
stuff is?

Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
The answer was that simple. Yeah, what was it? What
was it? But well, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (01:07:18):
They had the lights on these drones that were supposed
to be hidden or whatever. Why are they lit up
with the lights required.

Speaker 6 (01:07:23):
By the FAA. That was one of my big main questions.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
You did make that point.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
And I will say this now the point of and
you know this, Greg, this actually stays in the rhythm
of Greg. Now, I don't think that if if something
starts out is not a big deal, and suddenly with hysteria,
we turned it into everything under the sun.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Remember the clowns. Don't forget cloud scare We love to
be That.

Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
Was the most ridiculous thing, and even local we had,
we dealt with it locally. Now why now, why the
Biden administration is you make about a point there didn't
just simply tell us unless they wanted to create, you know,
all this confusion and make it look like that, you know,
Trump's dangerous, so dangerous that we're being attacked from other worlds.

Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Next one is a good one to e. So you're
going to have Brian Glenn ask Caroline Levitt to ask
her how did the Trump seem to handle this Columbia
situation so easily.

Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
Here we go.

Speaker 15 (01:08:21):
Well, my question is, do you think this latest incident
with the President of Columbia is indicative of the global
powerful respect they have for President Trump moving forward not
only to engage in economic diplomacy with these countries but
also world peace.

Speaker 11 (01:08:40):
Absolutely. I'll echo the answer that the President gave on
Air Force one last night when he was asked a
very similar question by one of your colleagues in the media.
This signifies peace through strength is back. Yes, And this
president will not tolerate illegal immigration into America's interior, and
he expects every nation on this planet again to cooperate

(01:09:02):
with the repatriation of their citizens who illegally entered into
our country and broke America's laws won't be tolerated. And
as you saw, the Colombian government quickly folded and agreed
to all the President Trump's demands. Flights are underway once again.

Speaker 4 (01:09:16):
By the way, Babylon b has had a field day
with this one about Columbia two. So did you see
the one yesterday where it shows Trump and there's a
guy right here.

Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
Here's what it says.

Speaker 4 (01:09:28):
Trump reminds the Columbian president he wants two coats of
wax on his limousine. That's good, and the Columbian presidents
at their waxing but making But we had countries and
it should concern all of us sending their worst, emptying
mental institutions, emptying prisons, and just really almost weaponizing these

(01:09:52):
people to come in to be a problem for us.
And this administration said, you do that to us, we
won't tolerated. Now, do we need to work on getting
a smoother legal immigration system?

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
Yes, you talk to people that has been through it
is tough.

Speaker 4 (01:10:11):
No no, no, yeah, legal immigration needs to be a
smoother process and we need to work on that. But
just because that is true doesn't mean you just have
a wide open border and you don't know who's coming
in who it is. There is a balance on that.
And first thing you got to do before you can
get to the legal immigration and try to smooth that out,
is you got to stop yeh, the bleeding. So now

(01:10:33):
we do have two f here comes of course, you
know this is going to happen. But this Press secretary,
even at twenty seven years old, she handles herself quite
well when she gets a question that is based on emotion,
but not a lot of facts.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Here we go.

Speaker 16 (01:10:48):
The President Trump, of course ran one of the key
policy items was that he was going to lower prices, lower.

Speaker 6 (01:10:51):
The cost of everything from groceries, as he often said.

Speaker 16 (01:10:55):
But in many of the cases, it would seem that
some of these moves could raise prices for real amayas
on everything from low income heating that program, childcare programs.
Will nothing that the President's doing here in terms of
the freezing these programs raise prices on ordinary Americans.

Speaker 11 (01:11:10):
What particular actions are you referring.

Speaker 16 (01:11:12):
To that with l HEAP right now, that's the low
income Heating program for example, we can talk about there's
no clarity, so I could refer to a lot of them.
We don't know what they are specifically. Can you tell
us that l HEAP, the light Heap is not one
of those effected?

Speaker 11 (01:11:24):
So you're asking hypopthetical based on programs that you can't
even identify.

Speaker 17 (01:11:31):
So the federal freezing of the federal funds for these
NGOs that is not going to if you get assistance
from the government and you're an individual, that will not
impact you at all times.

Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
Have I even said that in the pressure Relationship Yeah,
we'll come back. Let's go phone calls and eggs, find
out what's on your mind, America. You can comment on
this or whatever you want to our numbers eight eight
eight six Big Box and we chat with you America
right after this.

Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Okay, are you ready
to bring something to the table?

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Cool?

Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
No, and get on the show. What eight eight eight
six big bucks?

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Here we go?

Speaker 6 (01:12:23):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
So Brad is standing by h and this could lead
into something else. I want to ask him, and he's
got a question for us. Hey, Brad, welcome to the
Rick Burgess Boy. What's well?

Speaker 12 (01:12:40):
I'm just driving to work here. So over the weekend,
I was taking my dog out the.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Party on the back porch, understood, and I.

Speaker 12 (01:12:51):
Was unfortunately approached. I used the word attack that's been debated. Yeah,
I was attacked by skunk okay, and I live I
live in Cole, Okay. Now I did not get sprayed.
My dog did. And that's a whole difference, but it is.

(01:13:12):
It's the way that I reacted and what I did
that's under question. My fiance has asked me to turn
over my men car Okay, permanently, and I think it
may be more of a man card suspension would be appropriate.
My reaction is not great. I don't look great. Okay,

(01:13:33):
the audio is crucial.

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Yeah, okay, okay, just make that.

Speaker 12 (01:13:36):
Clear how I reacted. I'm not proud of it. I
want to say that. Yeah, So what do you just
need to I did go ahead? I'm sorry?

Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Yeah? So are you? Would you be?

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
And we have to ask this question, would you like
for us to do a round of the Big Vox Verdict?

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
What we would rule on is did you lose your
man card? Do you think there's any verdict that comes
in that you want at least have it suspended? Are
you even hoping for a verdict that you didn't lose
it or get it suspended, or do you think it's
too bad?

Speaker 12 (01:14:11):
Well, I'll be honest, I'm hoping for maybe a I
think that you and Greg are going to go ahead
and pull it permanently out beyond. I think there's a
chance Adler, being probably the most girless figure of the group,
may give me a hung curial.

Speaker 6 (01:14:29):
Okay, it's it's fair.

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
It's time for the Big Vox verdict. Oh boy, Well,
first of all, the jury, speedy, Greg and yours truly.

Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
And Er of course has put on his judge garb
and his new gabble. He's ready to go on the
ruling and he'll then't hand down the punishment after we
come to our verdict.

Speaker 2 (01:14:50):
So let's have a look at the video. Jury, Are
you all ready?

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
Let's have a look at the video on Brad's reaction
to being attacked by Skump. Here we go, all right,
play the video? Thank you, judge.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Oh look at this.

Speaker 12 (01:15:12):
It's not good.

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
Was that?

Speaker 6 (01:15:18):
Does that?

Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
Just then? That woman screaming sound? Did that just uncontrollably
come out of you or is that something you do
a lot?

Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (01:15:25):
Absolutely, And I'll say there's a so I wonder I
ran to the front the cliff from the front porch.
You see me coming back. But there were some words
I didn't want to, uh guess their on that part.
But what is funny? I actually I get caught in
this scream. Even when I get in the house, I'm
still screaming. I get caught. I can't get out of it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
I get caught in Well, I mean, you would have
thought it was going to eat you the way right?

Speaker 6 (01:15:50):
My goodness.

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Again, it didn't even really go after that I would
like to ask a question, but at least have his
butt turned that you're trying to spray.

Speaker 6 (01:15:58):
Yeah, that's just gonna be admissible.

Speaker 12 (01:16:00):
But once you get to that point, Reggas, you're done.

Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
Yeah, brad uh if I could.

Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
So you're standing on the back porch and you're looking
out to what looks like a backyard area.

Speaker 6 (01:16:11):
Yeah, do you?

Speaker 2 (01:16:12):
And it's it's dark, right it.

Speaker 12 (01:16:15):
Is, so let me so, yes, to the right, the
left have light. What happened when I was I was
getting ready to pee?

Speaker 18 (01:16:27):
Yah?

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
Yeah, I was wondering what you were Do not have
a bathroom brand insign dog people?

Speaker 12 (01:16:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
If you if you live out in the woods and
you had to take the dog out there, and while
you're waiting, you're like, well, I guess I'll just go. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:16:44):
So that's what I was wondering, is so you don't
see the skunk until it's right like right at you,
because it's dark.

Speaker 12 (01:16:50):
Right at me. And I will say this, I do
hear something approaching to my right?

Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
Okay?

Speaker 12 (01:16:55):
And I could tell something coming up. But I have
an armadillo I named Fred. He's a friend the armadilla.
It's normally Fred coming by, Okay, so I thought it
was Fred, just as he normally does, just kind of
coming by and we you know. I talked to him
and say, hey, so I wasn't expecting it to be
the skunk because I lived there three years. I've never
had the skunk.

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Come at it again.

Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
Play the video.

Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
Almost fail I had.

Speaker 12 (01:17:27):
I had to make a leaf off the porch and
I did hurt my Yah.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Yeah, I saw that you almost fail going in. It
looks like the skunk. It's like a burrow that.

Speaker 12 (01:17:36):
I did note that. Yeah, so I did you know?
So my dog was coming behind me. I could hear
something behind me. I thought that the skunk had had
taken pursuit.

Speaker 5 (01:17:48):
Okay, so that's why you kept screaming going in, because
you fell.

Speaker 2 (01:17:52):
Yes, okay, all right, So before the jury, he keeps
his man card, which that would be innocent, Uh, then
guilty suspension or guilty total removal. That's what's before us.

Speaker 4 (01:18:09):
I will I will say that my vote is total
removal of the man card. And I'll tell you why
the screaming is uh it it means it's very female.

Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:18:20):
And I think I think I would have gone with
suspension if you hadn't kept screaming continued.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
He thought it was kept. He thought it would continue
to run in there after. So my ruling is total
removal of the man card.

Speaker 12 (01:18:31):
Right, wow, okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
I think, uh, the scream really hurts? It does? It hurts?

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
Does?

Speaker 12 (01:18:40):
It does give you a.

Speaker 4 (01:18:41):
Little positive the fact that you were peeing off the
back porch. That gives you some man cred.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
We got that. Here's it also with an assist from
somebody on the text But I was thinking to myself,
you used the term potty. That didn't help. No, it didn't.
That didn't. That did that. That's a good point, say tangle.

Speaker 4 (01:19:01):
Yeah, you know, so I am. I'm going for the suspension,
all right, suspension speeding because he looks like a burly guy.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
That.

Speaker 5 (01:19:12):
Yeah, someone on the text line brought up a good idea,
I think, because you don't know what noise you're gonna make.
You know, it was just uncontrollable and the fact you
thought it was pursuing you inside, that's why the scream continued.

Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
And you're nearly on his head.

Speaker 5 (01:19:29):
Yeah, I'm gonna give you a suspension as well, but
you have to ship to pee for one month.

Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
I forgot about punishment. Oh yeah, okay, sentencing Idler, the sentencing.

Speaker 8 (01:19:43):
Order.

Speaker 6 (01:19:44):
Okay, I just broke something.

Speaker 7 (01:19:46):
Order look after preliminary considerations and hearing from the jurors
emeritus's and hearing from the just jury, hereby suspend your
man card for a period of six months, requiring one

(01:20:06):
month of sitting down to pete to remind yourself, Hey,
I am a man.

Speaker 6 (01:20:10):
I don't do that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
Okay, there's the ruling, Brad.

Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
Six months and one month of sitting to do number one.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
Thank you now you doing, Thank you, Jerry, I'm ruling.
Thank you job.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):

Coming up Monday, we have folks coming to see the
new studio design and to sit in the Vox seats.
Our first group for the Rick Burgers Show era coming
in on Monday, So that'd be kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (01:22:03):
So are you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
You know we've we've gone a while without any people
in these seats, So I would like to maybe ask
us as a team, you need to kind of get
back in that that routine again, and that would that
would that would include that would include you know, a
little less freedom as far as in here where the

(01:22:27):
studio is a little less freedom to just freely.

Speaker 2 (01:22:36):
Expel if needed it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
I will be honest with you, there's times that you
forget because the thing that we've talked about a lot
here is though on one side of this, you see,
and this has been the case as long as we
did the studio audience, even even in the Rick and
Bubby years, is we're It's one thing to go to

(01:23:03):
a concert and sit in the seats and watch a
performance on the stage, because everybody knows that. But what
we're doing that makes it a little unique is what
we're saying is we're inviting people to come to work
with us and hang out where we were. And yes,
there's a show going on here, but we're also at work,

(01:23:25):
and and and and they're right, they're right here with us. Yeah,
and uh and so uh you know it's it, but
you know, you kind of get to the point where
you were accustomed to people not being here.

Speaker 2 (01:23:37):
So I just I'm just saying, you got to get
it right. It's been a minute. Yeah, you got to
get back in that mode. You got to get back
in that mode, which I'm looking forward to it. Yeah,
oh yeah, be fine.

Speaker 7 (01:23:45):
I just I've said it before, but I just want
to remind Greg that Golden Ticket or Big Vox people
have ears, and their ears work.

Speaker 5 (01:23:53):
Yeah yeah, right, and the breaks in the breaks when
you think out loud, yeah you can think. I just
hope they bring something. Rick Aproves, No, no, tell you're.

Speaker 4 (01:24:05):
Right, I mean, if you okay, all right. So you're
saying that when you go to someone's house, you want
to bring them something that they don't like.

Speaker 2 (01:24:14):
But you don't know that.

Speaker 5 (01:24:15):
But a lot of times you bring your specialty, like
what you're maybe it's a family recipe, proud. Uh, hey, guys,
I brought a cast roll, something my family enjoys.

Speaker 2 (01:24:24):
Hope y'all do too. Well. Heck no, you told her
to go to the website and get that recipe. That's
that's the recipe. I lie. But you see how that looks, right?

Speaker 4 (01:24:35):
I mean, what would you do say Valentine's is coming up? Okay,
Let's say Valentine's is coming up? Okay, and you and
you go and your wife says to you, uh, let
me tell you what I like. I like roses, and
I'm just I know that's an obvious choice. I'm not.
And and then you come walking in and you don't
have roses. You say, I found I found another weird flower.

Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
You might like it.

Speaker 4 (01:24:56):
No, if I had the like, well, I like roses,
Well try this weird one. You may like this looking fly.
If they go, well, this is the rose, but it's
the new rose is a little bit better than that.
We maybe, but what if you know that I just like,
I mean, I just don't. I mean, you know when
you start there. I'm just telling you guys, there's a
lot of things. You might want to be a daredevil,
want to try new things. Yeah, you gotta be careful
on food.

Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
And you don't have to bring anything you don't that's
not you really don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:25:23):
As a matter of fact, the majority of the people
that come here don't bring anything. I think they feel
a little bad when they look around and the other
half of the room did. But there is no that's
that has nothing to do. There's no reason to bring anything.
There's this is not required that this is a gift
that you know. Of course, the seats are free, but
I mean the you know, and and you know we're

(01:25:45):
inviting you in and you know, when you come to
someone's house you usually do bring something. But but what
But what I'm saying is that's not required here. Yeah,
and we don't. We don't see you any differently if
you don't bring.

Speaker 5 (01:25:56):
And sometimes it doesn't have to be food. I mean,
I know Greg loves ats and stuff. We've had some
pretty cool stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:26:02):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:26:02):
Let's say you work with a business or something. It's
famous from whatever city that you're in. Y'all bring stuff,
but it's not a requirement. I mean, you don't have to.
But even though we've had some.

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Really cool we have over the years, right now, you know,
I would like challenge coins and I think, but I think, yeah,
I got two more of those by the way. Sunday
the gentleman Jack. Yeah, it had the don't bring Greg liquor.
He leaves it out in the counter.

Speaker 4 (01:26:30):
This person, please don't they somebody in their family worked
there at the distillery and they just made and it's
never been open. They made a bottle and it had
the logo engraved in the glass.

Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
I mean, it's pretty cool. It's just for looks, is
it now?

Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
In emergencies and paper weight and difficult day and difficult
days and no.

Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
Not at all. But but I'm just saying that's unique.

Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
No, and I you know, we and we do have
just for your help, just for your help, we do
have some rules, some things to consider.

Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
And where do you see that? Do you see that
when you go to book the right there? Yeah? Read those. Yeah,
I mean there's a guideline.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
It's probably some things that people that people should already
have considered, but you know, we live in a different time.
Everybody doesn't always consider things.

Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
Bring some manage with you. Yeah, right, food. So now
we're at this point, you better bring like and don't
act up. No what you like? I think we're pretty open.

Speaker 9 (01:27:31):
To what and you do that or you don't come.

Speaker 4 (01:27:39):
I just I just find it weird. I don't think
that's outlandish for someone to say. I think I'll bring
things you like? What what? What's weird about that they
want to?

Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
Right? I mean what you know?

Speaker 6 (01:27:53):
Can I talk about portions real quick? Because people will
bring us like two three donuts. There's four of us here,
that's six eight donuts each.

Speaker 7 (01:28:05):
So we're just so you know, maybe one don't, maybe
one or two don't.

Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
Well you can say too with us going down for
a fewer number of people, and and you know the
consumption of food, it will go its way down now
with this with this lineup.

Speaker 2 (01:28:24):
Yeah, okay, but see now you've made people nervous.

Speaker 5 (01:28:27):
Rick, I was gonna bring a breakfast cash role, but
you have a link to what you approve of. And
I don't know, and I'm you know, I'm not the
best cook, but Terry is and so I know when
she makes something for the first time that she's not
used to, she's a little nervous.

Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
She's like, this is.

Speaker 5 (01:28:43):
So if they specialize in something, but they make your
sausage balls and it's the first time they've ever made.

Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
Don't understand this concept of why not go with the
shirt thing?

Speaker 4 (01:28:52):
No, I'm saying it's perfectly But I think listen to
what adder is sick, because that is crucial. And I
think because the show is presented in it as if
it that there's a big crew behind it. Honestly, here
there's only four people. Yeah, it's only four Yeah, And
so if.

Speaker 2 (01:29:08):
You and I will hell labigated, I'll eat when I'm full.

Speaker 19 (01:29:11):
And then you'll get all the things away to be
sacrificial what I got, hey, especially if it's something I
read in and over the years I've developed some man,
what's that uh crack?

Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
You call it?

Speaker 4 (01:29:22):
That little mix huppy ower by the way, somebody just
brought something up. I'm starting to have a little bit
of only child syndrome. I knew you working with him
for thirty one years to do that the rubbed off on, Yeah,
I mean you kind of pick up you pick up, yeah,
I find myself not want people miss my stuff. Right,
so up, now we can take the extras to Sweet
two hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
Well you know what anyways, love it Sweet two hundred
and twenty twenty five has only gotten more bizarre. Yeah
it is. I can't figure that.

Speaker 4 (01:29:52):
I put somebody there two days ago but had an
animal animal that animal with it, and an animal had
a dog with them.

Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
Then we had those stinky Speaking.

Speaker 5 (01:30:00):
Of animals, y'all don't make food with animals on the counter.

Speaker 2 (01:30:04):
That the rules.

Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
This is where.

Speaker 3 (01:30:24):
Logic Beats left the Rick Burgish Show.

Speaker 4 (01:30:34):
We are enjoying being with you for another day and
hanging out together and just kind of walking through the
things we need to know, those things within our own lives,
things around the world, everything in between. One thing that's
quite obvious is a good night's sleep. Sure does help
your day go well, he looks sleep dot com slash

(01:30:54):
big box, get a mattress customized for you.

Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
Now that's just a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:31:01):
So yeah, probably I would sleep better if the mattress
was designed personally for me. Yeah, it makes sense. So
there's a sleep quiz there. You can take one. Greg
and his wife Lisa, they have theirs.

Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
They did this.

Speaker 4 (01:31:13):
If Greg was willing to do it, it can't be
that big a deal. It takes a few minutes. They
want to know if you sleep on your back, what
kind of position you sleep in back, stomach side, And
then they want to know if you have a firm
mattress your preference maybe a medium, Maybe you're a soft
mattress preference.

Speaker 2 (01:31:28):
They've got that.

Speaker 4 (01:31:28):
Maybe big and tall. They've got big and tall models.
They've got models for children. And you can get it
customized for you based on the information you provide. They
send it to you after it was manufactured here in America.
They send it to you, and then you have up
to one hundred nights to sleep on it to make
sure you love it. And of course you're going to.

(01:31:49):
But if something happens and you don't dig it, then
you get your money back. You have everything to gain
and the only thing you're losing is sleep. So go
to helicksleep dot com, slash big box. We're going to
save you money. Get twenty percent off or just use
that link at Rick Burgess show dot com under sponsors.
By the way, our audience very very savvy watching you

(01:32:11):
guys on the text option. You're very very savvy, and
I love the person that says, if you guys, surely
you know when you look at the suggestions and the rules,
what they have put here are things they've experienced. Yeah,
and all of these were built off things that actually happened, right,
So so sure, yeah, there you go, love you and

(01:32:32):
your families.

Speaker 5 (01:32:33):
But it's a really small child that can't sit here
for you know, quite quiet idea.

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
It should be not a good idea.

Speaker 5 (01:32:41):
It's going to be miserable for you too, because you're
going to be and it just it doesn't It doesn't work.

Speaker 4 (01:32:46):
Children crying child over a microphone, that's as well, that's
one of the rules. Not sure we're going to say
it just like that, but you sure, yeah, let me
tell you there's clarity now.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Yeah, well I'm there's very few occasions that I would
care right, yeah, taking one if you're trying to broadcast right.

Speaker 5 (01:33:05):
Yeah, Man, noises are picked up, that's that's all. And
then because I've seen a lot of parents that man,
they did get plans to have their child be looked after,
and they're like, oh, this is so nice to just
sit here.

Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
And you don't no, I love.

Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Kids, grandchild myself and love it a bunch of kids.
But you know me how observant I am and get
secondhand when these parents start struggling with their kids, I
get all nervous and they and they look at me
and I don't know what to tell them.

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
Before you know it, they're in my office chair breastfeed. Yeah,
that's happened.

Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
That has happened, right, Just don't want that, right And
how about this coming coming here when you're violently sick,
probably not a good idea.

Speaker 2 (01:33:47):
We'll let you make it up. It will make it up,
won't figure it out. Don't you worry about that.

Speaker 4 (01:33:53):
In like a week, maybe maybe hit hit them pits,
hit them teeth. You know, just these things we just
need to get that. I mean, these things seem obviously.
I mean, and again back to the statement the texture made.
These are things that have happened before, including the stink.
We're glad that you worked on the list while y'all

(01:34:14):
were camping out coming by here. But I mean, let's
say you slept on the ground and didn't have time
to run through that shower. That's all right, Yeah, we
coumery schedule sipball. Yeah, well, Yeah, So that's you know,
these things are they're not They're just common sense, that's all.

Speaker 2 (01:34:29):
Yeah, that's all they are.

Speaker 5 (01:34:30):
I just want y'all to be aware, and yeah, you
come and enjoy it too, you know, and I know that, uh,
those of you that make arrangements to be here. It's
a special day for y'all. So think of others, right zall.
That doesn't mean we don't want y'all here.

Speaker 4 (01:34:44):
Tell it's gonna be fun, right, telling any member you
would probably enjoy enjoyed the show more if they weren't
on the team.

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
See, that's just not just keep that. You may be
thinking that you have every right to think it, yeah,
but just no need to say. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:34:57):
The one I get the most is I used to
hate you.

Speaker 2 (01:35:00):
That, like that's a compliment.

Speaker 6 (01:35:03):
Past What about now?

Speaker 2 (01:35:04):
Though?

Speaker 7 (01:35:04):
Then they don't ever add but now I like you
that It just hangs and then I say, thanks for coming, right,
How do you feel now?

Speaker 3 (01:35:14):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:35:15):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
So it's gotten better? Right, Uh, well, we're loving again.
We talked a little bit earlier about the new Press
secretary for the Trump administration. We love old border is
he called the borders are? What is Tom? Tom? It's
weird Tom tom Holman, right, Tom Holman.

Speaker 7 (01:35:33):
Yes, he is the director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Speaker 6 (01:35:39):
I don't know if it rhymes.

Speaker 7 (01:35:40):
I forgot what my little Q was, my little code
word for myself memory.

Speaker 4 (01:35:46):
Well, you know, those little cues don't help if you
can't remember what. So anyway, here he is talking about
Joy Reid, and this guy is boy. Uh so here's
his comment on Joy read in her assessment of his job.

Speaker 7 (01:36:01):
And it's the clip is actually going to play the
Joy Reid clip and then he's going to react to it.
Joy Reid is talking about Christy Nome who went down
to the border with ice and she did put on
like an ice jacket. And so that's what Joy Reid
is talking about.

Speaker 18 (01:36:16):
Governor who's confirmed as a Department of Home and Security.
I mean, it's she's costplaying. It's almost a game where
she seems to be cost playing, because I'm not sure
what she thinks that she's portraying here. She might as
well be a comic.

Speaker 7 (01:36:27):
Con James and Joy say, you're reckless and you're just
role playing for fun.

Speaker 2 (01:36:34):
She's umber in a box of rocks. That's it. Oh
my goodness, that that is a well you know, just
more of that. I think.

Speaker 4 (01:36:49):
I think there's a refreshment that is coming uh with
this administration that I think we've all been been longing for.

Speaker 2 (01:36:56):
Do you like that? Quick reply?

Speaker 4 (01:36:57):
Greg speaking of dumb as rocks three A Andler. Sonny
Houston on the view, unfortunately, is going to claim that
being in the country illegally isn't a crime. Does he
know what the word illegal means? She does not, Greg,
But we sure are going to We're going to fact

(01:37:18):
check that for her.

Speaker 2 (01:37:20):
Here.

Speaker 4 (01:37:20):
So here is again Sonny Houston saying that it's not
a crime to be here illegally.

Speaker 18 (01:37:28):
He's have inner sense support deporting criminal a documented Yes, I.

Speaker 6 (01:37:31):
Don't know anybody in the world.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
Yeah, I don't know anybody in the world who wants
to keep the criminals.

Speaker 6 (01:37:37):
I don't know anybody.

Speaker 14 (01:37:39):
Can I say something, because you know, to keep on
talking about criminals and immigrants being criminals, and I just
want people to understand what the facts are and the
stats are, is that undocumented immigrants are much less likely
to have committed crimes than American citizens. American citizens commit

(01:38:00):
more crime than anyone who is undocumented. I also want
to make the point that an undocumented immigrant is not
a criminal because he or she is undocumented.

Speaker 6 (01:38:10):
That is a civil offense.

Speaker 14 (01:38:12):
So to call people illegal is in and of itself,
I think xenophobic and racist.

Speaker 2 (01:38:23):
No, that's that's that's incorrect.

Speaker 6 (01:38:26):
It's a federal crime.

Speaker 4 (01:38:27):
It is a federal crime to be in this country illegally.
It's not a civil it's a federal offense. Sonny, you
I don't know. I don't know why you didn't check
with somebody on that.

Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:38:40):
But the problem that nice dad whoever is so easy
for them, Well, it was so easy for them to
get in the country. You should be concerned to that,
whether you whether violent or not. If the nice person
could get in, so can the other.

Speaker 6 (01:38:57):
I don't believe her stats.

Speaker 7 (01:38:58):
If they're undocumented, how is there any kind of accountability
at all?

Speaker 2 (01:39:01):
Right that one, We'll be back. The number is eight
eight eight six, Big Box. We'll talk to you next.

Speaker 3 (01:39:11):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Okay, are you ready
to bring something to the table?

Speaker 20 (01:39:28):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
No, and get on the show.

Speaker 3 (01:39:31):
What eight eight eight six, Big fox?

Speaker 2 (01:39:36):
Yep, it's time the real Greg Burds taking phone calls.
You can join us America. Let's find out what is
on your mind. If you move now, you'll get in. Well,
he's finally found out.

Speaker 4 (01:39:47):
If you missed earlier in the show, you always catch
that on the archives every day. Speedy said that his
wife Terry, requested that he grow what hair that he
still has out.

Speaker 5 (01:39:58):
I don't know if you said it like that. Well,
I'm just trying to get right to it. She brought
it up as as a possibility, so I said.

Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
At some point.

Speaker 4 (01:40:06):
Ryan Greenwood, who worked with the show for many years
back in the Rick and Bubba days early on and
worked a long time with us.

Speaker 2 (01:40:13):
You remember Ryan.

Speaker 4 (01:40:14):
He also the lead guitarist from the World's Greatest garage Man,
Mister Lucky.

Speaker 2 (01:40:18):
He has been obsessed with this with Speedy. He said,
I'm behind with the show, but now Terry is making
the request. Please please, I will wave setting him on fire, oh,
and jumping off a five story building and letting a
Boa constrictor wrap him. Both of those I will drop.
Which these are two things he wants you to still

(01:40:40):
do and.

Speaker 4 (01:40:41):
Jump while on fire, yes, and then also be constricted
by boa. He says, if he grows his hair out,
I drop all that. And really it's not just for me.
Now I realize I can push this because it's for Terry.
My hump day just got better.

Speaker 5 (01:40:57):
Okay, you okay with him calling it hump day? Okay,
that's a big thing for you. So the way this
even came up on our walk last night was that
I went ahead and threw myself under the bus and
told her I showed the picture on the show, because
she had not brought it up all day, which means
I don't think she knew about it, right, And I
just said, hey, I showed the picture to everybody, And

(01:41:21):
she's like, what do you mean. I said, the picture
you sent, I showed it. I hope that's cool. You know,
that's okay? And she thought it was funny, and she's like,
what in the world y'all say? And I said that
you were regretting it? And I was grinning ear to
ear because I couldn't believe I pulled it off, you know,
and ha ha ha ha that and in the picture
I have hair. And then she said, yeah, you know,

(01:41:41):
you ought to try growing your hair back out, and
I said, I don't know. I think if I decide
not to, she's okay with it. Please for the show,
I might please.

Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
I just probably look so well you made Ryan Greenwood today.
Let's go have like old man gray hair.

Speaker 4 (01:41:58):
Oh oh, look who we got. Here's Larry from in Georgia.
He really he's updating us on the patches.

Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
Larry. Yeah, so Larry tell us the update on the
police patches and challenge coins.

Speaker 21 (01:42:13):
Right now.

Speaker 10 (01:42:14):
We got two challenge coins Monday from the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police. Yesterday yesterday we got another challenge coin from
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Speaker 2 (01:42:27):
You're welcome.

Speaker 10 (01:42:29):
Carolyn and I were moving the patches from one frame
to another, trying to work on specialty unit patches. Yes,
like Swat Bomb Squat. We come up with two frames
of just Swat bomb squad and canine patches.

Speaker 4 (01:42:51):
Nice, nice, sweet as that would say.

Speaker 5 (01:42:55):
So he could make millions as the voice of something.

Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
Could you know? You too have become celebrities on the show.

Speaker 10 (01:43:01):
Now, how have we become celebrities?

Speaker 4 (01:43:04):
The audience loves you, I mean you. We we played
back me talking to you on the phone. Uh you know,
and people have your your ongoing plight to get a
po box.

Speaker 2 (01:43:15):
It's just people just they can't get enough of it.

Speaker 10 (01:43:19):
Well, the thing is, yeah, Deborn is a small town,
and everybody here has a post of the spots and
it's hard to They're just totally.

Speaker 22 (01:43:30):
Out to post out the boxes.

Speaker 2 (01:43:32):
Right did you did you do you have a ups
place there?

Speaker 18 (01:43:36):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (01:43:36):
No, we don't.

Speaker 2 (01:43:39):
He doesn't sound too confident. Yeah, I'm not sure there.
You will look into that.

Speaker 4 (01:43:42):
But yeah, sorry, y'all are people finding your address where
to send it now?

Speaker 8 (01:43:49):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:43:50):
Not yet? The okay, but I thought y'all gave your
address out.

Speaker 6 (01:43:57):
Yeah, I have it right here.

Speaker 2 (01:43:58):

Speaker 10 (01:44:00):
Mag David so far, I'll be gotten a step and
the Royal Canadian mind the police.

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
Well, now I took care of that. Larry. I'm going
to try to do his voice.

Speaker 4 (01:44:09):
You know, I told you I was pretty well connected
with them. I've got a family member that once was
a mounting.

Speaker 7 (01:44:16):
Yeah, there's a ups On Hillcrest Parkway.

Speaker 2 (01:44:23):
There's a ups On Hillcrest Larry, Larry, Oh, I didn't
know that.

Speaker 6 (01:44:32):
I love Larry.

Speaker 4 (01:44:34):
Well, Larry, you could maybe do something there. This is
Larry of Larry and Carolyn Hopkins. They collect police patches
and challenge coins. If you did not hear our interview
with him, they have a website that is extremely lengthy.
Larry will tell us the website again.

Speaker 10 (01:44:50):
Uh, Deblin, dub l i ed, Georgia Police Department, patch
collectors dot com.

Speaker 5 (01:45:00):
He's not saying tax collect now, he's saying patch collectorship.

Speaker 2 (01:45:04):
Yeah, do not if you call here on April the fifteenth,
you're gonna you're gonna scare people. All right, So, so
and they live.

Speaker 6 (01:45:12):
Does not work?

Speaker 2 (01:45:13):
Uh, they never worked. Typed it in a bunch of times. Yeah,
you can google it. I've seen Dublin, right, yeah, Dublin. Yeah, yeah,
so five twelve palisde Drive, Dublin, Georgian. Right, Larry, right, so,
and I know a lot of people have been contacting
us on how to get you guys patches. So there
you go.

Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
Well, Larry, thank you for the update. Till Carolyn we
see it. Hello, Hello, hey Carolyn, how are you good?

Speaker 2 (01:45:40):
Good to talk to you all. Okay, thanks guys.

Speaker 6 (01:45:45):
Yeah, you're a saint.

Speaker 2 (01:45:46):
There she is.

Speaker 6 (01:45:47):
She definitely is.

Speaker 4 (01:45:50):
I am not saying that website either. Well, when I
google that though, something comes up with you. But it's
just the interview with him.

Speaker 2 (01:45:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it. That website.

Speaker 6 (01:45:58):
I don't know who they're paying for it not working.

Speaker 2 (01:46:01):
I don't think it's a website.

Speaker 4 (01:46:03):
Well, God love them, God love them, and they got
a bunch of patches somehow, really did uh? Diane and
Tennessee Diane go ahead, Hey there you guys. We're good, Diane.
I hope you're okay.

Speaker 23 (01:46:19):
I'm good. Good listen. I just wanted to make the
comment that I think that Greg should spend a wheel
for me because I still have my Christmas decorations inside
and out. So I think of guys all the stick together.

Speaker 2 (01:46:35):
Uh so you still slay Dan? Will you?

Speaker 4 (01:46:39):
Will you consider taking them down? I mean, but what's
your what's your plan?

Speaker 23 (01:46:44):
Well, when it gets warm enough to take them down,
I'll take them down, I guess. But it hasn't been
warm enough. But I like to lay mine up because
you work so hard to get everything done and then
sit down and enjoy it.

Speaker 4 (01:46:57):
Okay, all right, Well how long? How long are do
you get them up earlier? Do they come up late?

Speaker 20 (01:47:02):
Like Lee?

Speaker 2 (01:47:02):
Lee?

Speaker 4 (01:47:03):
Lee is leaving hers up because she said that she
was hosting, you know, which, there's a lot of pressure
with that, and they kept adding to it. Then they
take their little family beach get away together, so she
missed a week of it then and she just feels
like she's not done yet.

Speaker 23 (01:47:18):
Well I'm not either. I put mine up before Thanksgiving,
right after right after thanks So what we will?

Speaker 2 (01:47:26):
We're gonna let Greg spind the wheel. Yeah, I'm sure?
Why not?

Speaker 12 (01:47:29):
Oh wow?

Speaker 2 (01:47:30):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:47:30):
So Diane, we're gonna let We're gonna let Greg spind
the wheel for you and we'll see what it lands on.
Because Greg, she says, the people that won't take their
Christmas decorations down should should stick together. So Greg, Greg
is spending the wheel of bundles, bits and bucks, and
it's been it's been cranking out cash. Yeah, I mean, like,

(01:47:51):
I mean, but you know that didn't mean it's gonna
happen because it could be a bundle, could be a bend, undel,
could be a bit. So here here we go, Greg,
give it a leave your Christmas decorations too long?

Speaker 2 (01:48:05):
Spin? Here we go, leave them up. And I didn't
tell her say it's well to me spending, didn't thought.
I'm sorry, I'm still not gonna win money now. Well
you may be right. Yes, the Larry thing gonna be closed.
It's gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:48:25):
Please you.

Speaker 2 (01:48:27):
You've got a subscription to Blaze TV. You were about
you're about you're about three Clint, you're about two clicks
from five hundred dollars. Uh, but it was closed.

Speaker 23 (01:48:37):
It's the thought at counts and Hi, I'm kicking over
Blaze TV.

Speaker 4 (01:48:40):
Good, all right, we'll put you on hold and uh
and you'll get a subscription and don't forget you get
an hour of our show every day along with all
the other stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:48:47):
Okay, oh oh yeah, okay, thanks Scott, Merry Christmas dying
there she goes, there, she goes, all right, well there
you go. See. Yeah, boy, tell it almost hit that.

Speaker 5 (01:48:57):
Five hundred You cutting nervous? Well, she said, happy, it's
will to When she didn't say that, that's what I knew.

Speaker 2 (01:49:03):
She was totally on me too. Joshua in the Free
State of Florida.

Speaker 20 (01:49:06):
Joshua, go ahead, Yeah, I was wondering if y'all seen
the video of the woman who was talking about since
all he's uh the reporter that they can't eat uh
tacos and then it pains to a news reporter eating
talk and say, what are you going to do about it?

Speaker 4 (01:49:23):
You know, I couldn't even understand anything you just said,
not one thing. Could Could you try it again?

Speaker 2 (01:49:27):
Joshua? All I got out of that was tacos. No
surprise there.

Speaker 24 (01:49:31):
Yeah, there's there's a there's a woman or a video
of a woman talking about, uh, nobody can eat tacos
anymore because they're trying to deport all the Mexicans. And
then it goes to news reporter eating a taco saying
what are you going to do about it?

Speaker 2 (01:49:48):
No, I have not said. Do you think that's uh?
All right? Do you think is that is that a
real thing? You think, Adler? Or do you think it
was a setup?

Speaker 7 (01:50:00):
Well, people are getting online being all angry about the
deportions that deportations that are occurring, and for some reason
they've wrangled Mexican restaurants into this. So if you support Trump,
you're not allowed to eat at a Mexican restaurant.

Speaker 6 (01:50:12):
It's the recurring theme you see online, which makes no sense.

Speaker 2 (01:50:16):
That really makes zero sense. All right, we'll be back.

Speaker 3 (01:50:23):
This is the Rick Burgers Show. Don't forget the Wednesday
Bible study today at noon Central Time on The Rick
Burgess Show YouTube channel.

Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
Church there Brian Gunn.

Speaker 4 (01:51:11):
They'll be kicking off the men's Discipleship strategy, so we'll
be there for the big kickoff and plug into one
of our curriculum. Also coming up this week on Saturday,
Ladies Sherry University Church of Christ, Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the
women's Brunch starts at ten am. If you want the
tails on that, go to Burgessmanistries dot com under events.

(01:51:33):
And then also another Man Church on Saturday night Birmingham,
Alabama and Bessemer at the Station Church. Gil McKee will
be the speaker for their next Man Church as they
continue to roll through the strategy as well. And you
can find a lot of other upcoming things by going
to both websites as well. All right, So a couple
of things to also talk about today. I've been talking

(01:51:58):
about this for a while, and that is that I
think that we should already be flying.

Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
It seems like to me that we're way behind on
why we don't have personal aircraft to where like you
have a vehicle, very jetsons, like where you go, Hey, hey, birge,
hay bird, where do you Let's let's all grab lunch
over on the other side of town. And instead of
sitting in god forsaken traffic worrying about you know, somebody

(01:52:28):
that can't drive, somebody that's returning emails while driving road construction,
I just go out there in my around fifteen hundred
and as I'm easing out of the parking lot, it
lifts off and I fly and I just go over
to where we're having lunch and land.

Speaker 4 (01:52:41):
And I don't know why we can't do that already.
I think we should already have that. Well, well we
have footage. Is this called the transforming car? Has it
got a name yet? I should both put this out?
And I wanted to get y'all's reaction just seeing it.

Speaker 2 (01:52:57):
So this is a vehicle that eventually just takes all
and starts flying.

Speaker 6 (01:53:01):
You can fly and yeah, it can fly and drive.

Speaker 2 (01:53:03):
Yeah, okay, this is what I'm talking becomes a park
a minute, is that?

Speaker 24 (01:53:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:53:08):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (01:53:08):
And it's air car.

Speaker 2 (01:53:10):
It's an air is that real tail comes out?

Speaker 6 (01:53:14):
The wings come out.

Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
This is what I want.

Speaker 7 (01:53:17):
It looks like a sports car really, and then you
get it on a runway, wings come out, tails slides
out and can I.

Speaker 2 (01:53:23):
Just drive it too though? Yeses, okay, you can't put
the wings up like that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:53:27):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:53:27):
And then yeah, okay, what about are there places that
are ready for me to land?

Speaker 6 (01:53:33):
You got to go to a runway?

Speaker 18 (01:53:34):
I think?

Speaker 2 (01:53:34):
Okay, how much runway do I need to land my car?

Speaker 6 (01:53:38):
I think it needs to be at least a local airstrip.

Speaker 2 (01:53:42):
Okay, because that's going to be a problem, like say, lunchtime,
everybody trying to land land in the parking lot. Yeah.
Plus those wings are going to be tough in traffic.

Speaker 6 (01:53:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:53:51):
Clip, everybody, let me give you some advice. And I'm
looking at it. Anything that says experimental that you don't
want to now, you're right, I'm not saying John right, Yeah,
I'd have a parachute on. How about he should have
stayed on the road, country road would have taken him off.

Speaker 20 (01:54:05):
Here.

Speaker 2 (01:54:05):
Here's how they know. Yeah, here's how it folds up
here and everything kind of comes together.

Speaker 4 (01:54:09):
Okay, anybody got a gas mileage on this? I'm asking
them for speedy.

Speaker 7 (01:54:15):
Since the range is one thousand miles a thousand kilometers.
It looks like it's getting pretty good gas mileage up
in the air and on the roads.

Speaker 2 (01:54:24):
Do you know what?

Speaker 15 (01:54:27):
What what?

Speaker 12 (01:54:27):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:54:28):
Voice?

Speaker 2 (01:54:30):
You might have got on to him and he was
trying to Pitcher Greg with this this drive. He has
every changer in Piedmont game changer. Yeah, we'll go home.
See that's the part I hadn't thought about.

Speaker 4 (01:54:46):
On the other end, if if we're gonna if we
can all fly, well, we really got to get some
parking lots.

Speaker 2 (01:54:52):
Yeah, I mean some big ones.

Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
I mean that's a but so I guess we need
to really be able to do more helicopter like yeah,
you know where we come up and then we just
come straight down so we don't have to.

Speaker 2 (01:55:05):
I''m sure this inventor is like, I'm sorry, Rick, got it.

Speaker 1 (01:55:07):
We all know this.

Speaker 4 (01:55:11):
You got to think about the problems ahead where we're
all going to land. Now, if we just cut everybody
lose flying where they want to.

Speaker 5 (01:55:17):
When that's not good, that's not good. I think that's
why this has never took off. Non intended, the the idea,
and I think the technology has been around for a
long time, but how we're gonna get everybody up there communicating.

Speaker 2 (01:55:27):
Like I say this, you ever been on the roads.
Ain't nobody doing it now? Right? But lanes.

Speaker 4 (01:55:33):
This is just an airplane that you can also drive
like a car, not so much a car that you
can drive like an airplane. So you don't just have
free range to get in the air and go where
you want to go.

Speaker 2 (01:55:41):
I got you can.

Speaker 17 (01:55:43):
I just.

Speaker 2 (01:55:45):
You're talking about this person that because yeah, like just
like everybody else has to keep driving. I've had a dream.
Oh yeah, the have you let me warrant? Hey, let
me let me warn all of you two, especially you speedy.
I don't know how I got locked into this. It's
it's some sort of Instagram thing. And all it is

(01:56:05):
is airport communications with pilots that are in trouble. That's
all it is. That's all it is. And I don't
know why I can't let it go. Rick.

Speaker 4 (01:56:13):
And then the worst ones is when they'll put their
name underneath and they'll and then they'll let you know
they didn't make it. I know, and all of a
sudden you'll you'll hear the p I'm declaring emergency. Okay,
what's happened I've lost my engine, and I'm like, is
he gonna he's gonna make it?

Speaker 8 (01:56:25):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:56:26):
Okay, Well you've got one rat three of them for you.
I don't think I'm gonna make that. And you hear
that conversation. All right, so we have a there's a
highway near you. I'm not sure that it's you know,
it's the best in Landown, but that's an opry. I'm
not gonna make that put I'm going down in the field.
And then all of a sudden, all right, let us
know if you get it on the ground and then

(01:56:47):
call it to tell number, do you copy that? And
then underneath it so and so, so and so didn't
make it. And you say that, and you hear the
last thing, I'm not gonna make it. Oh my gosh,
it's I need to know.

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
I don't know. I don't know what's coming. I mean
speaking a wah.

Speaker 7 (01:57:03):
Did y'all hear about that F thirty five fighter jet
crashed at Wilson Air Force Base in Alaska?

Speaker 2 (01:57:09):
Yeah, but the pilot's okay though, right he survived.

Speaker 7 (01:57:11):
Yeah, yeah, he ejected before it crashed. But I got
footage here. You can see his parachute in the air.
Here his plane is just going down like a leaf
falling from a tree.

Speaker 2 (01:57:20):
That's a lot of money, right, Oh wow, and he
survived that. I mean, here it comes. You can see.
Oh there he is, I see him. Yeah, gracious good.
Look at that right there, that's a post. Oh that's
a boy.

Speaker 4 (01:57:35):
That's a picture that you keep right there and you
just sit down at any lunch and like Brian Regan
talked about, this is not quite I went to the moon.

Speaker 2 (01:57:42):
But it's a pretty good me monster moment everybody said.

Speaker 4 (01:57:45):
At one time, I thought, like, I try to tell
my Cleveland, Tennessee story, and this guy just pulls us that.

Speaker 2 (01:57:50):
That's a good story, y'all. Did landing land right? The
plane's okay?

Speaker 20 (01:57:53):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:57:53):
Yeah? Did you parachute out? I didn't. I'm sorry she
never wrote it up. Yeah. Are you like eating lunch
with skydivers? Have you ever got? Yeah? Every day? Just
about when I went up, I didn't plan to. What
if you're battling, should I bail or not? Can I
save it? Yeah? There's a point where you got that's it.
I ain't no, m I bet that's great on your

(01:58:14):
body getting shot out of a plane.

Speaker 1 (01:58:17):
It was good.

Speaker 4 (01:58:18):
No, it's not faces of death. This one's only about airplanes.
It's it ain't nothing, and a lot of them turn
out okay. But then every now and then, Leonard Skinnard
you did just just yesterday, was a guy and he
was by himself, and when they were small, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:58:34):
Standard CSSI type things with a propeller. Yeah, and I'll
send you here. I'm not gonna make you gotta put
it down. I made the mistake of watching a guy
break down beat boxing. So that's all I get.

Speaker 6 (01:58:46):
Now, if you watch something one time and.

Speaker 3 (01:58:53):
Top of the hour, this is the Rick Burgess Show.
This is what Trump had in mind when he sought
to make America great again. The Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 2 (01:59:16):
Here we go, a brand new hour, and we're glad
you're here. The Rick Burgess Show, Speedy, Greg and Adler,
the Rotten Gun. As we rolled through another one, looking
forward to chatting with you America, watching your comments on
the text line eight eight eight six Big Vox website,

(01:59:40):
Rick Burgess Show dot Com. All right, so the gang
is here.

Speaker 4 (01:59:51):
The text line. They missed nothing, They missed nothing. They
don't miss anything. Let me say, for those of you
that teach English out there, uh, so Speedy just casually
threw something out. We all let it go, but the tech,
the text line did not they did not miss it.
Oh boy, so speedy. When I was talking about this

(02:00:14):
instagram about you all these pilots interacting with the tower, uh,
he just threw out, yeah, just one time, go and
check out how to beat box and that's all you
get now, And yeah, that's on us.

Speaker 2 (02:00:28):
That's terrible. I threw it in there, and the bed
was going, I should just where you won't even.

Speaker 5 (02:00:36):
Let me let me clarify here. Yes, so I wasn't looking.
I didn't like, I didn't search how to beatbox? Was
just it showed up on the popular reels. Clicked on it,
and it's a guy that apparently is really well known,
and he splits the screen with these these people that
have this amazing ability to to do that or make

(02:00:57):
yours or whatever, and he reacts to it. Have you
been working on your No? And but it's addictive. You'll
start to listen to it and you're like, well I
got to see another one. I got to see another one.

Speaker 2 (02:01:09):
Did you feel like you feel like your beat box
is not up to par?

Speaker 1 (02:01:13):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (02:01:14):
Well, I could look like you were in pain. So
it's beatbox? Is that still as popular as it once was?

Speaker 6 (02:01:26):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (02:01:30):
Work on it a little bit working, Yes, we'll look
the text on. They don't miss anything. Well, no, they
don't miss anything. I can't believe I let it go. Well,
it was just the.

Speaker 5 (02:01:44):
Discussion of of clicking on things and back to your
your air traffic control stuff that now you can't get
enough of it.

Speaker 2 (02:01:52):
Just search out a beat box. That's all you're getting.

Speaker 26 (02:01:55):
Now.

Speaker 5 (02:01:55):
I make the mistake of watching one of those videos
and and now that's all I get.

Speaker 4 (02:02:01):
Somebody says, so basically, your wife Trey wants you to
grow your hair out and beat box.

Speaker 2 (02:02:08):
Because now I can't find.

Speaker 6 (02:02:09):
That hard shoot.

Speaker 2 (02:02:10):
I was wanting to get it for I never could.

Speaker 6 (02:02:17):
Some of the good you guys are getting good.

Speaker 2 (02:02:18):
Some of the stuff I've been working on.

Speaker 5 (02:02:20):
Some of the stuff that he plays is really You're like, okay,
is this AI? Can a person really do this?

Speaker 6 (02:02:26):
The little most simple little beatbox hack that I know,
Oh here it goes is just.

Speaker 1 (02:02:33):
And then.

Speaker 2 (02:02:35):
And then put and then put.

Speaker 6 (02:02:38):
So it's not bad, guys, we're a real band.

Speaker 2 (02:02:58):
What if we were to beatboxing?

Speaker 18 (02:03:00):
Here?

Speaker 26 (02:03:00):
He is?

Speaker 4 (02:03:00):
I got what's that bunch of things only acapella. But
I think they're adding instruments. Oh yeah, yeah, what if
we were the beatbox Pentatonics didn't have a beatbox guy. Yeah,
but sometimes I think they're adding instruments.

Speaker 2 (02:03:13):
He like this guy right here, check your out. Listen
to this. He's singing. He's about to get a gold.

Speaker 1 (02:03:24):
Oh, black Betty, cool Black.

Speaker 2 (02:03:32):
You can't play back, Black Betty wild, I can't play it. No,
you should be playing that. I should why Black Betty.

Speaker 27 (02:03:45):
Listen, he's about to get into it, Betty. This one
guy is doing all this. Who's the comment guy?

Speaker 2 (02:03:58):
He's getting on earth a little bit.

Speaker 6 (02:04:00):
Yeah, I wish it wouldn't have that.

Speaker 2 (02:04:03):
Now, you just messed up today. I don't think so.
I don't think so that version of Black Betty you
make it by Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I got
skating rink. He's still more and I'm sorry the beat
is this guy going through something like a demon. But

(02:04:24):
but but anyway, they start going and I want to
hear what you know. It sounds like you're listening to
a song and one person is doing all that. It's crazy.

Speaker 5 (02:04:32):
Anyway, I watched one of those and now now it's
on my popular real because then I got to another one.

Speaker 2 (02:04:39):
Google beat box one time.

Speaker 4 (02:04:40):
Look at yeah, I'm not I can't believe you're letting
some of these people go claiming they're making off this
with no.

Speaker 2 (02:04:48):
Has to be a YE or something well, or some
track that you're maybe on top of they add stuff
in ye and it's co how they mix it. That's good.

Speaker 6 (02:04:59):
Now, if you can, if you can, if you can isolate,
that's good.

Speaker 2 (02:05:09):
What are you saying to this peak.

Speaker 6 (02:05:18):
That doesn't sound like beatboxing?

Speaker 24 (02:05:22):
If you can.

Speaker 2 (02:05:25):
It's a German guy, that's good.

Speaker 7 (02:05:36):
All right, So here's here's Pentatonics and that guyam Okay,
here's what you can do.

Speaker 6 (02:05:43):
If you can isolate your mouth.

Speaker 2 (02:05:46):
When did you become the big box?

Speaker 6 (02:05:48):
And we talk about this all the time.

Speaker 7 (02:05:50):
Okay, if you can isolate your mouth, and then that
frees up your lungs and diaphram to actually do the
base tones. So it's like, so that's all mouths, that's
all mouth and then you can include your lungs.

Speaker 22 (02:06:03):
Check it out.

Speaker 2 (02:06:13):
I'm telling you we got a band, guys. Guy, I
don't know what we're gonna call it. What about like
we gotta you.

Speaker 4 (02:06:19):
Know, I think we should call it a guy suggested
earlier as a rock and roll city album name, but
I think we adopted as our name of our band,
Maximum Liberty.

Speaker 2 (02:06:30):
The Big Boxers.

Speaker 6 (02:06:39):
Or the Boxed Rocks.

Speaker 2 (02:06:40):
There we go, all right, the police Academy, to get
a police Academy. He's sound effect guy legend. Y'all make
fun of him.

Speaker 9 (02:06:52):
But you watch one, you're like, well, I got to
see another one. I don't remember the guy with the
Fat Boys. He was known for it great. Remember he
went on in well, well there's a shocker. Yeah, speaking
that we got updated.

Speaker 2 (02:07:04):
You know, there's more footage of dank today than the
four hundred and sixty of the guy that reacts.

Speaker 6 (02:07:13):
We're react.

Speaker 2 (02:07:14):
I can't do this guy.

Speaker 4 (02:07:15):
I like that this guy, this is a guy that's
making money off just simply reacting to people with talent.

Speaker 5 (02:07:21):
So apparently he's he's German. Uh, let's sit here. I
wonder if somebody's sending us all kinds of information on
the guy. And I don't endorse him. I don't anything
about him. I just he popped up in my mind
kind of are on my reels one day and I
had made the mistake of clicking once and now that
thinks that's all I want to say.

Speaker 2 (02:07:37):
Well, it was the first thing came to your mind.
I because he didn't even google beat box. I didn't
google anything because I want to be better at it.
Bob pops be throwing down. Oh can you be boxed
for me popping? Look, so watch it, I'm doing that

(02:07:57):
right now. We'll be back more to come.

Speaker 3 (02:08:07):
Hey, Yeah, this is the Rick Burgess show.

Speaker 2 (02:08:36):
Time is running out.

Speaker 3 (02:08:38):
The reviews are rolling in on the twenty twenty five
Man Church Conferences too. Powerful weekends remain Panama City, Florida,
February twenty first and twenty second and Atlanida, Georgia, February
twenty eighth and March first. Powerful worship, high challenge, strong
equipping and beneficial fellowship with men from all over the country.

(02:09:00):
At your tickets for a life changing in Panama City
or Atlanta at the Manchurch dot Com. Just like Boo,
men change everything.

Speaker 23 (02:09:11):
We're back.

Speaker 2 (02:09:13):
Thanks for being with us. Much to do.

Speaker 4 (02:09:17):
As we work our way forward. Thank you for all
your feedback on our beat boxing. Uh that Speedy's obviously
been working on.

Speaker 2 (02:09:25):
Sorry about that. Yeah, we'll look we we we got
it done.

Speaker 4 (02:09:30):
So Also, we have a lot of people saying they're
they're speaking all of our theme songs, that we got
to get a theme song for Larry from Dublin, Georgia.
Let's say that, and people are thinking patches, Yeah, like.

Speaker 2 (02:09:49):
That's that's easy.

Speaker 7 (02:09:51):
But I was born and raised bound in Alabama on
a farm way back up in the woods.

Speaker 2 (02:09:56):
So what we can Patches used to teasing him by
this four steep down inside he was heard. It's just
one of those songs that nobody would expect. It was
a great old man. I love this song.

Speaker 6 (02:10:08):
I can see him with a shovel in his hand
for my kids.

Speaker 2 (02:10:11):
By the way, God man, I love this time from
the I never heard fellow pans and bills. We've been
in our hair. So I have been tacked him down
to look out when he tried to get up life
with thing down the beatbox right there, calling to his
dying with his head. And what we do is hears

(02:10:34):
hare here just from on your side. It's easy side side.
Un listen man, you hey, it was this song will
make you. I wish I could sing for at least
twenty four hours. My Papa wasn't walking. Man, man, I'd sing,

(02:10:54):
I just I can see him with a shovel in
his hand.

Speaker 6 (02:10:58):
It's up to you.

Speaker 2 (02:11:02):
But isn't isn't man?

Speaker 4 (02:11:05):
Is it Patches just the little boy version and a
lot less uncomfortable then Reba McIntyre's fancy. Yes, yes, isat
fancy a lot less uncomfortable because no one's asking Patches
to be a prostitute.

Speaker 1 (02:11:21):
That's my point.

Speaker 4 (02:11:21):
I remember those diverse family and we want Passion to
do better than the rest of us. Yeah, you know,
luckily he didn't choose to go into adult fail.

Speaker 6 (02:11:34):
We need you to take your clothes off.

Speaker 2 (02:11:39):
I got a really fun Patches and I'm thinking, know
what I mean, don't pull me into this fancy, don't
let me down.

Speaker 6 (02:11:52):
Goodness.

Speaker 2 (02:11:53):
The only comparisons is they both come from a poor
family wants you to do better, forget you. But there
is too we want you to do better. Two different paths,
you're saying, the feeling maybe that comes over. Well, you know,
we won't Patches to have it better than us we did.

Speaker 1 (02:12:08):
I won't.

Speaker 2 (02:12:08):
I won't Fancy to have it better than me. Now,
different paths, different strategy. Strategy done. Man, You remember the
first time you got old enough on fancy to kind
of get the lyrics on wait a minute, Wait a minute,
and her mama's in, her mom's encouraging me, and then

(02:12:29):
you go, well it worked, hey, by the way, but
of course that works. It's been working, made way more
than patches.

Speaker 6 (02:12:42):
Patches.

Speaker 2 (02:12:43):
You didn't quite do as well as fancy mash up
I shove hand, So that's right.

Speaker 4 (02:12:58):
But but maybe, uh, maybe that was Rick Call wrote
that song You're Right from Fame Studio.

Speaker 2 (02:13:05):
Was on the documentary.

Speaker 4 (02:13:06):
Sure was Who's saying it Clarence Claire, Okay, don't play
his other one? No, that's more like yes, that other
one one.

Speaker 2 (02:13:15):
Oh my god, I remember. I thought, well, I thought
Clarence Carter and not blind man. That did well as
many have done. But uh, and then he started that
that song that.

Speaker 6 (02:13:26):
Was Are you talking about two week to Fight?

Speaker 2 (02:13:28):
No, I'm not talking about that one, easy baddler. Just
you're about to run up on the left?

Speaker 7 (02:13:33):
No, all right, back door Santa No, No, just recorded
and muscle shows patches was recorded Muscle soul.

Speaker 2 (02:13:42):
That I saw that document, you wouldn't believe it wasn't working, man, Rick,
I didn't realize about singer recorded that.

Speaker 6 (02:13:49):
I just burned.

Speaker 2 (02:13:53):
I tried to be boxing.

Speaker 12 (02:13:54):
I burned.

All right, So why Rick trying? This did happen? They
had to shut everything down. This is VCU versus Saint Louis, Okay,

(02:14:57):
and this is on.

Speaker 7 (02:14:57):
CBS Sports and it goes for we don't have to
play the whole thing. But my goodness, people are just
tumbling down the aisles of.

Speaker 2 (02:15:04):
The met We say that, I mean a man hanging out,
man who's after him, somebody's choking him? Going on in
the start guy hanging on the rail right there up top.
Officers and the security have come over, and it's a
good fight. This is one that was, like I said,
we're not getting stopped anytime soon. That's a really good game. Yes,

(02:15:25):
that's an ugly ending to a really good game. Guys,
there's an old man up there place on the rail
who you don't even like it's in the fight.

Speaker 1 (02:15:33):
Looking up.

Speaker 2 (02:15:34):
That's not me. Yes, he's.

Speaker 6 (02:15:37):
Speed fighting.

Speaker 2 (02:15:37):
Why Greg, that did Look I just saw that guy mouth.
I was just beat boxing.

Speaker 12 (02:15:43):
Are having a tough time.

Speaker 2 (02:15:45):
They cannot get this stop. Look the players are looking
they can't get a stop. And you know what's happened.

Speaker 5 (02:15:51):
You have people that are with the people fighting that
are now trying to handling on.

Speaker 3 (02:15:55):
On the stairwell.

Speaker 2 (02:15:56):
It was hard to feel it back that guy right
there on the rail. Look, there's no man I'm talking about.
He's sat back down. Greg, You quit worrying about that man.
There's nobody's not I know it. But he acts like
he's being beat up and there's nobody around on you.
Oh that's weird. Make sure what is he doing. It's
like he's taking the viscial bunches. Yeah, exactly. He didn't
beat up. He didn't nobody beating him up. Okay, I

(02:16:17):
see what you're saying. All right, public safety in any
any I think that's the hoodie. I don't pay that
public safety guy. He's mad started it, he's real mad. Yeah,
I'm Saint Louis's winning about it? Is you speedy? Are
you part of it?

Speaker 1 (02:16:33):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:16:33):
I mean the guy we think is you? Is that
guy one of the offenders? Yeah? Yeah, I guess so. Yeah,
really trying to explain himself to Is that the old
man talking about?

Speaker 1 (02:16:43):
There?

Speaker 2 (02:16:44):
Is that the you talking about right there? Right there?
No beginning, it's clutching over the rail and he never
moved people. Get he's in no da.

Speaker 20 (02:16:53):
Right right right right?

Speaker 2 (02:16:55):
Well they fell on great, they didn't fall on it.
But look look Greg, Oh wow, he's more dramatic than
I even thought about. Where's the ball guy that gets
kicked out the end? Is he under all that? I
think some of he coming in with you.

Speaker 4 (02:17:10):
Unfortunately nobody really caught how it's started. But by the
time we get to it, it's already it's a mess.
Yeah it might be Gary and I hate you hate that.

Speaker 28 (02:17:18):
Hey, let me tell you, I'm just trying to pull
from e C and somebody come over here and took
the hope to me. I said, hate, you don't know
nothing about this. Now you need to sit down where
you came from.

Speaker 6 (02:17:32):
Don't let you down.

Speaker 2 (02:17:33):
Who pushed that old man down? The bottom of the hour,
we'll be back and what we will get to this
other fight too when the Rick Burdess Show continues.

Speaker 3 (02:17:45):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 2 (02:17:59):
Kep, get out of the car.

Speaker 3 (02:18:01):
Funny the Wick burd You show.

Speaker 6 (02:18:08):
Here we go, Thanks for.

Speaker 2 (02:18:09):
Being with us, did you so?

Speaker 4 (02:18:16):
We'll get another opportunity to chat with you via phone
coming up before the hour is over. All right, So
we just saw the fight which really turned into a
MLA at the VCU Saint Louis basketball game. Somebody said
there was a nice one in a high school basketball
game last night too.

Speaker 2 (02:18:33):
I haven't seen that. But now let's get to this mayor.
Now tell me what's going on with this mayor? All right?
So who was this person?

Speaker 5 (02:18:39):
Apparently it's what everybody's labeled to corrupt mayor out of
a town in Illinois. And there was a fight that
broke out. I just saw a little bit of the video.
A fight broke out and they kind of zoomed in
and the mayor's right in the middle of it.

Speaker 2 (02:18:54):
So the mayor is fighting where So this is she.

Speaker 7 (02:18:58):
Has been kind of in hiding inclusive, not around because
it's come out how much money she's wasted, how much
she has spent on her own you know, makeup and
houses and cars and flights and vacations.

Speaker 6 (02:19:10):
The town is not doing well economically. Uh, this is Dalton, Illinois,
and it's just the level of corruption is is actually
pretty incredible.

Speaker 2 (02:19:19):
Yeah, it's called she's been labeled America's worst mayor.

Speaker 1 (02:19:24):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (02:19:24):
And a brawl erupted in a town meeting act after
an activist called for her removal. Oh, it's a town
meeting and Tiffany Hinyard, I guess yeah, is the mayor
there in Dalton village in Illinois.

Speaker 4 (02:19:38):
Where she's Okay, Yeah, I think that's her. Thank goodness.
Some people have their mask on. Yes, yes, people are
still wearing a mask, believe or not.

Speaker 2 (02:19:50):
Yeah, and I haven't gotten into what the audio. Okay,
you're good.

Speaker 6 (02:19:54):
Yeah, it's a town hall.

Speaker 7 (02:19:57):
This one guy has thrown many zingers her a uh,
and he's going to just have an impromptu vote.

Speaker 2 (02:20:04):
Okay, okay, so you see what you think.

Speaker 29 (02:20:14):
You go, you go, you gone, you go blank, You're
gone blank. And so now the boyfriend, the boyfriend is
gonna come up. This is the boyfriend fighting the guy
that just spoke.

Speaker 7 (02:20:25):
And then you're gonna see Tiffany the mayor come in
and her wig is gonna go flying her wig and
now people are just fighting.

Speaker 6 (02:20:31):
She's just swinging. Where's the your wigging there?

Speaker 2 (02:20:35):
It's orange?

Speaker 6 (02:20:36):
It is orange.

Speaker 2 (02:20:37):
Yeah, really stands out.

Speaker 6 (02:20:40):
And I haven't screened the rest of this audience. I'm
not turning it down because it is Illinois.

Speaker 2 (02:20:47):
This is a city, all right.

Speaker 4 (02:20:48):
So the guy who called for the vote, we can't
see him. That's him walking down the owl. When it
finally does pick him up, pick up the guy on
the camera. And the boyfriend comes in from like a
lobby in the back. He's in there there. I see that,
I see got it, got her wig off? Uh did
you see her wig go flying in the middle of
the pile. Yes, I mean she comes running in fast, right,

(02:21:09):
So this is the guy, okay, and then he takes
an impromptu vote and uh, you go.

Speaker 6 (02:21:16):
All right, he says, like we're getting ready of her
black blank and all this.

Speaker 2 (02:21:19):
Stuff a while.

Speaker 6 (02:21:24):
I'm waiting for that vote because it is hilarious when
he's just like everybody say.

Speaker 2 (02:21:27):
Ay ay, and then he said you're you're gone. Here
goes there you go.

Speaker 4 (02:21:33):
So now the camera does it. He's that's him walking
to his seat, right. Yes, Now he sees the boyfriend
who's coming from the lobby.

Speaker 2 (02:21:39):
Bar standing back there. Yeah. Yeah, Now now they're going
at it. So oh that guy just got the way up.

Speaker 20 (02:21:49):
In there.

Speaker 2 (02:21:50):
There it is sitting in the middle.

Speaker 6 (02:21:51):
Yeah, that old lady needs to stay out.

Speaker 2 (02:21:53):
Yeah, she needs to back away.

Speaker 6 (02:21:55):
That guy in the mask is very weak. Yeah, I'm
saying things now.

Speaker 5 (02:21:59):
Rick in the store, you have to They circle they
circle her head where you can they really zoom in
and she is in the middle of.

Speaker 2 (02:22:06):
The fire, in the middle of the fight. The mayor. Yeah,
the mayor cor you go. Yeah, they're referring to her
as y'all just said, is America's worst mayor. Yeah, that's it.
So so yeah we have it. Yep, here she is okay,
and there's her wig.

Speaker 4 (02:22:23):
Okay, there's the wig. It says really stands out. It's
like orange, Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (02:22:32):
It is orange. Well, I see what he called her
to He says that she just doesn't do her job
very well.

Speaker 7 (02:22:39):
Uh, that's basically, she had seven thousand dollars in credit
card seven hundred thousand dollars in credit card charges. She
she shranked the budget from five point six million to
three point six million. Uh so that's two million dollars
gone and just a lot of misuse of funds.

Speaker 4 (02:22:59):
Sounds like yeah, and it sounds like that her boyfriend
did not take her getting voted out real well. So
then he comes in to defend her, and because oh wow,
they're saying when he said, when he said you're gone,
he added a word at the end of that that
probably led to the fight. It's yeah, it's not good.
He referred to her in a word that you you know,

(02:23:21):
you call a female it's not good.

Speaker 2 (02:23:23):
Yeah. Oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:23:24):
She spent fifty thousand dollars on ice skates.

Speaker 2 (02:23:28):
Say that again, that's not true.

Speaker 6 (02:23:30):
And artificial ice tiles for a winter rink.

Speaker 2 (02:23:34):
Oh okay, I got you. And less spending and let's spending. Yeah, well,
maybe that was a nice of the community.

Speaker 7 (02:23:42):
Oh yeah, she did throw that big like party, and
evidently she still owes vendors like five million dollars and
it's oh wow, this I mean, it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:23:50):
Okay, well it's The controversy continues on her mismanagement of
millions of dollars of the taxpayer money. Uh, and now
they'll have to after this brawl, it says the mayor
allegedly pushed her table aside and rushed toward the chaos.
As we saw, she is seen going into the melee
herself and losing her wig. That says, you know that

(02:24:17):
wig up right? So speaking?

Speaker 4 (02:24:20):
You know, you could you know what Terry wants you
to grow your hair out? You could have still yees,
looks how do we get to that? Well, couse, there's
a story about.

Speaker 2 (02:24:27):
The way you thought about my head when you heard wig.

Speaker 4 (02:24:30):
I thought about you know, can I tell you how
it actually went in my because I don't know if
you've noticed this. I have continued to be somewhat surprised
by how many people wear a wig, you know, Yeah, yeah,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (02:24:41):
I don't know why. I just don't pay attention that much.
And then I realized people wear wigs a lot.

Speaker 6 (02:24:44):
Talking about women.

Speaker 4 (02:24:46):
Yeah, yeah, they wear wigs more than I realized. And
and now, and I was going to ask to do.
The guys who do the really long dreads. Are those
just attached a.

Speaker 2 (02:24:56):
Lot of times? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:24:59):
It we in right, yeah, and so out like three
inches and then you got three feet.

Speaker 2 (02:25:03):
Okay, I got you. Yeah. And have you ever had extensions?

Speaker 1 (02:25:07):
No?

Speaker 6 (02:25:07):
No, thought about it?

Speaker 2 (02:25:10):
No, no, no no no. Yeah. But I was saying,
if you wanted to try hair, maybe you did. That
made me think of you. It did. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:25:17):
I started thinking about wigs, and I thought, well, instead
of committing to my hairs growing out.

Speaker 2 (02:25:23):
Let me try wigs. See how I look? Okay, do
you remember do you still have that wig here? Adler?
A black one? I could maybe try it. Let me see.
By the way, that is a good one.

Speaker 4 (02:25:34):
Someone said the mayor's campaign slogan for her next run
is that she'll fight for you.

Speaker 2 (02:25:40):
That she's proved that. So yeah, all right, so Speedy's
putting on. I don't think this is what Terry meant. Yeah,
this is a little longer than probably Terry was looking for.

Speaker 6 (02:25:47):
Pretty cool though, but yeah, you could be in my band.

Speaker 2 (02:25:51):
M Yeah yeah, now that's uh. I think maybe she
wants a little lass. Yeah I don't. Yeah, yeah, you
need to comb it. It's very messy. It's very messy.

Speaker 4 (02:26:06):
I don't I don't think. I don't think that's what
Terry is hoping for. Center that and say, is this
what you kind of thinking?

Speaker 6 (02:26:16):
You don't see very much.

Speaker 2 (02:26:17):
You gotta do something about your bangs. Yeah, yeah, that's why.
Why does that have that different?

Speaker 6 (02:26:22):
Different stuff?

Speaker 2 (02:26:23):
We were we were gonna give we were gonna get
big boy a beard. Oh yeah, and we were thinking
about doing that. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:26:31):
Yeah, that's uh so let me take a picture. I
think that's that's too much. I think that's going from
nothing to a lot. You know speedy, Uh you like
a multiple guitar players from the eighties. Yeah, you think
that has really a little Howard Stern look there. Good
from the text line guitars for the Bullet Boys. Yeah,

(02:26:51):
John Bond, speedy, pretty good.

Speaker 2 (02:26:55):
There we go.

Speaker 4 (02:26:55):
What if you want that and we would call you
out on it and you say, no, this is real,
and you you wouldn't never let them.

Speaker 2 (02:27:01):
Yeah, what if all of a sudden you just started
wearing that as if you we did not see you
put it on, Yeah, and you were like, this is real,
this is in fake? Hey baby?

Speaker 7 (02:27:07):
Well, speaking of that, you guys, remember I was when
y'all were a kid, did y'all see dudes with two pays?

Speaker 6 (02:27:13):
Yes, you remember that.

Speaker 4 (02:27:14):
I'm not going to call a name, Go ahead, a
friend who's dad. Yeah that that may be the worst
hair piece I've ever seen, and would only wear it
at certain times. It may be completely bald, you know,
except for the horse you and then next time you
saw him, he was like dressed up going somewhere. You
have that two painted look like a beaver pelt, y'all.

(02:27:34):
I never understood the I'm not all the way committed,
like you'll see me without it, you'll see me with it.

Speaker 2 (02:27:41):
I think you either have to wear it once you've
gone that long with that, just stick with it.

Speaker 4 (02:27:45):
And this is one of those that had the comb
in the back where you have in the back of
your hair, so it was staying place.

Speaker 2 (02:27:49):
Oh sure, you know.

Speaker 6 (02:27:51):
It's like Joe, I'm scared of you guys that wore
two pays as a kid for some reason.

Speaker 2 (02:27:56):
Scared of them, but this is scared of them. But
this guy would scare you. This guy, Hey, your email business? Yeah,
I'm starting to use that. That's good looking, stay with that,
that's great like that. And I said that Terry there's
almost a little bit. Addy's coming home. Yeah with a wig. Yeah,
ain'tis a metal van.

Speaker 1 (02:28:17):
Long.

Speaker 2 (02:28:18):
We'll be back fifteen minutes to the tunnel.

Speaker 3 (02:28:28):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. The people who don't
like this show, you wouldn't like anyway, the Rick Burgess Show.

we we talked a good bit about music on here.
Somebody has sent this to me on email. Looks like
you're on it too, guys. Is this even possible? Ozzy

(02:29:46):
Osbourne is planning to do two final shows so he
can say goodbye to his fans.

Speaker 11 (02:29:52):
Y'all.

Speaker 2 (02:29:53):
How many times he's retired. He's not gonna pull a
Phil Colls. Is he sure a lot like that?

Speaker 6 (02:29:58):
Y'all?

Speaker 2 (02:29:59):
Should we do this?

Speaker 17 (02:30:00):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:30:01):
No, should we do this? I no, Its just it's
just a story.

Speaker 6 (02:30:06):
I saw him over a decade ago, and it was
not good. That was over a decade ago. It was
it was not good. It was he was not there.

Speaker 20 (02:30:14):
He was not on pitch.

Speaker 2 (02:30:15):
Oh, it's it's Ozzy though.

Speaker 6 (02:30:17):
It was they were.

Speaker 7 (02:30:18):
They were turning his mic off and then he would
get on the right note and they would turn it
on be like and then they'd turn it on like
they were they were riding the slider. Okay, Okay, you
guys get what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (02:30:33):
Well, okay, so let me let me let me say this,
and y'all know, y'all know one thing obviously I'm super
sensitive about is is tamping with the memories?

Speaker 1 (02:30:43):
What? What? What?

Speaker 20 (02:30:44):
What?

Speaker 1 (02:30:44):
What?

Speaker 2 (02:30:44):
What is this thing where we do we desire to
see people?

Speaker 4 (02:30:50):
Like I said, I was never into Ozzy or anything
like that, so this, this particular doesn't matter to me.
But I think about people that I would like to see.

Speaker 2 (02:30:58):
But but it isn't there.

Speaker 4 (02:31:00):
Can't we go to the point that this goodbye is
too sad. I mean, don't you get what we've done
to Phil Collins? The fact that basically we're going to
see Phil Collins sitting in a chair.

Speaker 2 (02:31:14):
I mean, why do we That? Doesn't that make anybody sad?

Speaker 4 (02:31:19):
I mean, is this is this enjoyable to see people
no longer able to do what they're doing, and we
we just we just don't want to let them go,
so we would go see them no matter what, just
to be in the room with them.

Speaker 1 (02:31:32):
Is that?

Speaker 20 (02:31:33):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 2 (02:31:34):
It's certainly not the performance.

Speaker 4 (02:31:35):
Yeah, you know, he played just a small part and
then one of the NFL halftimes years ago.

Speaker 12 (02:31:40):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (02:31:43):
Did you just see that? Did you just see that picture?
Phil Collins? Why why would we do this? He's turned
into Gandhi? Why would we do Why would we do this?
I don't understand. He can't even do that. Don't don't
don't that can beat it? Seems like then they say
his son played the drums on the last tour. I'm sure, no,

(02:32:07):
I'm sure you're right along. I hope so, I hope
we didn't put him way to him.

Speaker 7 (02:32:11):
Yeah, he was in the twenty or the two thousand
halftime show back to OZI.

Speaker 6 (02:32:18):
Oh yeah, no, no, Phil Collins, Phil Collins, I'm sorry.
Were you talking about.

Speaker 2 (02:32:22):
He did something of the NFL.

Speaker 4 (02:32:24):
Yeah, he had it wasn't he wasn't the whole halftime,
but he had like a small part in it. But
I think they played track.

Speaker 2 (02:32:31):
I just wondered him out there. See, that's not the
memory you want to leave everybody. You know. Well, if
you can pull it off, I'm all for it.

Speaker 4 (02:32:38):
Like when I the times I we went to see
the Eagles, even right now, if you go to see
the Eagles, there's no drop off at all.

Speaker 1 (02:32:45):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:32:45):
As a matter of yeah, Joe Walsh, how he still
plays in his seventies is amazing, it really is. And
and the singing and the harmonies, the harmonies are all right,
and like you said at her, the pitch is still there.

Speaker 2 (02:32:57):
So that's okay. But when it gets ugly, is this
the is this the NFL thing?

Speaker 22 (02:33:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:33:05):
One of the textures and we covered it, remember the
Frankie Valley thing. That may be the worst case I've saw.

Speaker 2 (02:33:11):
All right, So.

Speaker 6 (02:33:14):
That's tracks, that's tracks.

Speaker 1 (02:33:15):
He's not saying.

Speaker 2 (02:33:17):
Okay, so is he is? He just panami? I think
he's going to have to trying to sing over his
own track.

Speaker 4 (02:33:23):
If he comes out in this situation, if you were
an Aussie fan, do you prefer tracks so that he
doesn't come off making it?

Speaker 2 (02:33:32):
Did it come off sad?

Speaker 4 (02:33:33):
He needs So Basically, what we're saying is we want
to go see Ozzy if you're an Aussie fan in
an arena and we want to hear his music and
see him standing there moving, We're just basically listening to
his hits with him.

Speaker 2 (02:33:47):
Is that what we're doing?

Speaker 8 (02:33:48):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (02:33:49):
Not only aging he's had, Like the.

Speaker 5 (02:33:54):
People are saying, to look for Ozzy inducted into Rock

is rapping in one of her music videos. Guys, and
it's that tailgates got all it's can handle.

Speaker 2 (02:34:59):

I think was concerned about. That's an s u V.
She can't get in so much. I can't find I
really would like to hear rapping. All right, what's that dog?
Somebody show? Why showing it?

Speaker 6 (02:35:16):
Somebody? What's the doll?

Speaker 2 (02:35:17):

Somebody say cuts dog handler, the doll, the all gadder.
My goodness, worst Kirk Street when you need him. I
mean this is Oh I'm large and I'm gonna wear

Speaker 7 (02:36:46):
Kevin, when he was a puppy, he was a skirt hound.
If you know what I mean, Like, don't be wearing
a skirt around Kevin.

Speaker 6 (02:36:51):
He would go in all the way.

Speaker 4 (02:36:53):
And you're speaking for first hand experience. Yes, I apologize
skirt tall.

Speaker 2 (02:37:00):
It wasn't like I wore one killed. I did it
once and that was it.

Speaker 6 (02:37:04):
This is part of a disturbing trend here. There's another
famous rapper named Dave Blunt and he weighs over five
hundred pounds.

Speaker 2 (02:37:12):
Down on a couch in an arena.

Speaker 6 (02:37:15):
Yah, did we not?

Speaker 2 (02:37:15):
Are we not concerned about these?

Speaker 6 (02:37:17):
He's on oxygen during the performance.

Speaker 2 (02:37:20):
Do we not care about an oxygen? Why don't we
care about him? I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (02:37:27):
At the top of the hour, this is the Rick
Burgess Show.

Speaker 1 (02:37:45):
Listen up. You know what we say.

Speaker 6 (02:37:53):
You gotta find.

Speaker 3 (02:37:58):
The voice of Lisa in an unreasonable world. The Rick
Burgess Show now and.

Speaker 2 (02:38:05):
Going now more than ever. It's just weird out thereon
so and also making a commitment to no longer try
to reason.

Speaker 6 (02:38:14):
With unreasonable people.

Speaker 4 (02:38:17):
I'm broadcasting you from the rare world. We got a
lot to do this hour and you may be part
of it.

Speaker 2 (02:38:23):
That number is eight eight eight the number six big box,
so you can text us to a lot of you
are eight eight eight six two four for eight six nine.

Speaker 4 (02:38:40):
The gang all here, Speedy, Greg and Adler. All right,
so a number of things to cover to start the hour.
This is kind of tell us a little bit about
this opening story. I'm looking at the video here on
the video list and the story, and we have woman
helps police save a man from jumping off a bridge.

Speaker 2 (02:39:01):
Yeah, what what is going on here?

Speaker 18 (02:39:03):
You know?

Speaker 2 (02:39:03):
It's uh, there's a.

Speaker 5 (02:39:04):
Lot happening in the world right now, and uh, this
here is just a bizarre story. It looks like a
lady that's in traffic there it is. Yeah, yeah, we
heard that.

Speaker 2 (02:39:16):
We found out what this was. What is it?

Speaker 4 (02:39:18):
You're not going to believe that what this noise is
it coming from the iPad. That is the wind blowing
down that hall through the door. What you have to
do is either you have to either have to crack
the door or make sure that door stays shut out there.

Speaker 2 (02:39:31):
It's the one going to the part while it's closing.
It's it's went through.

Speaker 6 (02:39:36):
When you open it the whole.

Speaker 4 (02:39:38):
It's crazy, that's new. But yeah, that hasn't been some
days before. Yeah, I wonder why it's just now doing that.

Speaker 2 (02:39:43):
That's wild.

Speaker 6 (02:39:44):
They change the way the air moves through the building
because you open that door and.

Speaker 4 (02:39:48):
It's yeah, Greg, did you already seen He's trying to
figure out what was doing it yesterday because Adam and
I were about to do some video.

Speaker 2 (02:39:55):
Work and we're like we can't have.

Speaker 5 (02:39:57):
This, and a few times post show, but I didn't
know what it was. It seems like it just started
post show. It was brand new thought it was coming
from that watched this, watch this right here, and okay,
now he's going, let's we'll be real quiet it a
little bit, all right, So see.

Speaker 2 (02:40:14):
The door out there? Hear it? It? Sure is. He's
got the door open, and.

Speaker 4 (02:40:19):
Then when you shut it stops. See and then then
when he shuts it, it stops. It's the wind blowing
through that hall, this door when he comes in.

Speaker 5 (02:40:29):
Act, tell him we couldn't hear it that, Please say,
you say, hey, when you start, let us know.

Speaker 2 (02:40:33):
Okay, here we go. Here he comes back, here we go. Hey,
is it not doing anymore? No, couldn't. We didn't.

Speaker 5 (02:40:42):
We didn't hear anything you were doing. I was looking
at it looked like you were opening it, but we
couldn't hear it.

Speaker 2 (02:40:46):
Yeah, did you hear it? You heard it in the hall?

Speaker 6 (02:40:50):
All wrong?

Speaker 2 (02:40:50):
That is what it is. Where was it coming from?
Was it just the whistle of the wind or what
was it? We didn't hear it. You must get hear
it just in the hall. How did y'all hear it
in here? Right? If that's the case?

Speaker 6 (02:41:00):
Right, No, it's our door making the sound.

Speaker 2 (02:41:03):
But could you hear it out there?

Speaker 20 (02:41:04):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (02:41:05):
So are you go messing with me?

Speaker 1 (02:41:06):
I just do.

Speaker 6 (02:41:06):
That's like four times I opened the door.

Speaker 2 (02:41:08):
Back and okay, okay, all right, right, No it's but
do you agree?

Speaker 15 (02:41:16):
Do you?

Speaker 2 (02:41:17):
Did you agree? Though? That's new?

Speaker 6 (02:41:18):
That's insane.

Speaker 12 (02:41:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:41:21):
I never thought that.

Speaker 6 (02:41:22):
We've been here many years when our door never whistled.

Speaker 2 (02:41:25):
I went out yesterday because I wasn't standing far from
I thought there was something in the hall like that alarm.
Yeah yeah, yeah, Well that's what ghost. That's what it
sounds like.

Speaker 4 (02:41:33):
By the way, I have to give props to a
listener right now, props, okay versus I'm not I'm not
trying to say that rapperd Dank is large, but I
think the picture of which bounds.

Speaker 6 (02:41:49):
It is.

Speaker 2 (02:41:49):
All right, So let's let's move on. I don't know
why anybody we're turning serious now? Why would anybody be
jumping off a bridge?

Speaker 3 (02:41:56):
Trump?

Speaker 2 (02:41:56):
One right.

Speaker 5 (02:41:57):
Well, obviously someone is just herbed and thinks this is
a solution, which it's not.

Speaker 2 (02:42:03):
And a lady.

Speaker 5 (02:42:05):
Has seen this stops and goes out and tries to help,
and she's screaming for help. The police officer comes up.
This is dash cam footage, and then he jumps out
and runs over and he grabs him as he gets
one leg over the rail and then starts screaming for
somebody to help. Another passerby jumps out of the car
and pulls him down to the ground. So it's just

(02:42:28):
really a bizarre situation that luckily they saved the man's life.

Speaker 2 (02:42:32):
So he was a woman screams and him policeman respond
looks like they had already been called.

Speaker 5 (02:42:38):
Can't quite hold him, somebody else help, and maybe somebody
in law enforcement can. He keeps saying, hold the button down.
I don't know if that's a distress call on his
uniform or his chest or something. And then some other
officers come raising, flying in on in police vehicles and.

Speaker 2 (02:42:55):
There's a gang that's yelling for you to jump. They're
always there.

Speaker 6 (02:43:00):
I know you would do that.

Speaker 2 (02:43:02):
I'm not sure where you're stuck in traffick.

Speaker 30 (02:43:04):
You probably with you right, right, one saying about that
I'm not seeing this is the officer here, right, So
he's pulling up to the scene, and yeah, and she
might have been with the guys some cars up here.

Speaker 2 (02:43:17):
She's trying to talk him down here, Okay, don't do it. Hey, No,
it's okay, it's okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:43:32):
So she must know him.

Speaker 2 (02:43:34):
Yeah, we come on, wait to go out here. Press
the button, Press the button right there, button, Yeah, pressed
the orange button.

Speaker 6 (02:43:42):
Now hold it down, hold it down.

Speaker 2 (02:43:45):
Yeah, that must be a distress.

Speaker 6 (02:43:46):
See's on the rail.

Speaker 12 (02:43:48):
Someone help me?

Speaker 2 (02:43:49):
Now all right there there's somebody jumping out of the
car to hell like you were talking about speeding, right
and now there's now there's other How about that? Wow? Man?

Speaker 5 (02:44:00):
So maybe yeah, maybe the female was actually with the person.
She was trying to talk him down. Yeah, but what
what a moment. Wow, wowow when an officer has to
just scream to traffic somebody helped me. Yeah, And Greg's
not laughing at that, because that would be very insensitive.
He's looking at a picture that someone textes off, right,

(02:44:23):
But I just won't think people don't think that.

Speaker 6 (02:44:26):
No, No, it's uh, I forget something worse.

Speaker 2 (02:44:30):
I do think what I do think what the person
sent was worse than what we just saw.

Speaker 5 (02:44:34):
Yeah, but anyway, the Okay, she's a jogger. It says
here somebody said it did happen in Louis Lewisville, Louis Louisville.

Speaker 1 (02:44:43):
Louis.

Speaker 2 (02:44:45):
I was Thinkingssissippi for a second.

Speaker 5 (02:44:46):
All right, uh and it was a jogger. I guess
the jogger jumped and came upon this man something. And
the bridge acrosses the Ohio River.

Speaker 4 (02:44:56):
But so that the man in her don't have a relationship,
like they're not friends or anything or girlfriend boyfriend. She
just was jogging and saw the guy ready to jump.

Speaker 2 (02:45:05):
That's why someone texting said that it was a second
street bridge and speedy. If you'd been there, you'd rush
into action, with you Well, I think you would have too, Yeah, God,
yell and help read that.

Speaker 5 (02:45:17):
You never know what you're going to do in a
panic situation, but I think you would probably try to help, right,
of course, you would try to help im looking at him,
Oh you're looking at Greg absolutely now apparently the guy
pretty strong.

Speaker 20 (02:45:29):
Say it?

Speaker 6 (02:45:30):
Greg said, yeah, yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (02:45:32):
Greg did say something about he did want some clarification
on how bad traffic.

Speaker 2 (02:45:37):
Yeah right, all right, So here it is.

Speaker 5 (02:45:41):
It says the orange button is a panic button. It
sends a tone to all officers I got you okay
and opens the mic too, so they here, right, okay, you.

Speaker 6 (02:45:50):
Guys got going for a jog on a bridge.

Speaker 1 (02:45:54):
For a job.

Speaker 2 (02:45:54):
I don't go for a jog anywhere. If i'm it's
where there's no traffic, because I don't want to get
run over.

Speaker 6 (02:46:00):
Yeah, by the way, can we all, I can't.

Speaker 2 (02:46:02):
I can't take you as the jogger. I know you do. No,
I think.

Speaker 4 (02:46:06):
I think you're a person who every now and then jogs.
Don't tell yourself a joggra.

Speaker 2 (02:46:09):
No, that's true. Yeah, I'm in the other category.

Speaker 7 (02:46:11):
Great, Please tell me you jog on the left side,
not on the right side. Now you jog on the
left side of the road, not the right side.

Speaker 2 (02:46:17):
I don't like the people coming round at me. Got
you gotta see them good.

Speaker 6 (02:46:22):
They're gonna run you down from you're.

Speaker 2 (02:46:26):
One takes around. I'm not a jogger. I don't really
jog on the road. You're a person who who moves
around and driveway. That's not a jogger. That's called getting
the mail. I do throw that in there. I throw
that in there, and we're let me run get the man.
La Lasa please video that one day, La, please out
from the windows. I go to the mailbox in fact

(02:46:47):

Speaker 6 (02:46:49):

talking about it sometimes his voice and I know he's
got an issue, and.

Speaker 2 (02:48:12):
I know all that it ain't slowed him down though
it hasn't. Look he's doing great.

Speaker 4 (02:48:16):
But all I'm wondering is is it possible that they
won't grill him like they of the other the others
because they just can't listen.

Speaker 2 (02:48:25):
To him talk that long? You know, you make a
great point.

Speaker 4 (02:48:29):
Is it going to be almost like that he can
outlast them? Yeah, it's like somebody gives you lean over
to your Democrat buddy, and if you keep asking questions,
we got to keep we gotta sit here longer.

Speaker 2 (02:48:39):
Come on, we gotta we gotta move him on through.

Speaker 24 (02:48:41):

Speaker 2 (02:48:53):
So yeah, there it is eight.

Speaker 4 (02:48:56):
Eight eight six Big Vox will talk to you quickly
simply say dot com slash big box.

Speaker 2 (02:49:02):
I mean, there is no safe like it.

Speaker 4 (02:49:04):
They have taken security to a whole another place. I
mean that it started out they wanted to try to
find a way for exactually people, they knew how people
who are renting property, they couldn't have a security system
because they were so intrusive that the landlords wouldn't allow it,
but now they developed it and it just turned into

(02:49:26):
just a better way for any of us to secure
property using modern technology. Now they've taken another step on
the monitoring with the live guard. This live guard of
monitoring in real time. I mean they can see the
property out of hey, what are you doing over here?
And if they see a fire, they see a flood,
they detect carbon carbon monoxide poisoning. What about a medical

(02:49:50):
emergency that they see you're there by yourself and you
can't but they see you're in trouble.

Speaker 2 (02:49:54):
So you can do this right now.

Speaker 4 (02:49:56):
Now, this is not going to be around much longer,
but we are offering a It's simply safe dot com
slash Big Vox fifty percent off a new system fifty
percent off. Also find the link at rickburgesshow dot com.
Now that fifty percent off is with the monitoring plan,
but you want that, but we'll give you the first
thirty days of the live guard for free. So they're

(02:50:18):
taking the AI technology and just really changing the way
we do security for the better. Let's go to Chuck
Chuck's in Ohio. Chuck, thanks for your patience, buddy. Welcome
to the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 13 (02:50:31):

Speaker 2 (02:51:24):
You're still not sure he testing everything at home? Okay, Rick,
We've had we've.

Speaker 7 (02:51:30):

Speaker 18 (02:51:34):
You know.

Speaker 4 (02:51:35):

Speaker 12 (02:52:02):
Am I still on?

Speaker 2 (02:52:03):
Yeah? Sure, go ahead.

Speaker 13 (02:52:05):
I raised three boys, first boy, first Grandchot was a boy.
I finally got a girl, grand a girl. We were
bullying the other night and she started chanting when wanted
somebody hit the strike and she started chanding one of
her Auntonians. Nothing. What a proud when even my granddaughter
is going to chant now I have.

Speaker 2 (02:52:22):
A good chance. What a moment. Thank you, thank you,
and I appreciate you calling. You know, Ricky brought it up.
Gary's in a lot of people's dreams. Yes, he is sure. Hey,
I mean, you know, people tell me all the time
they dream about me.

Speaker 4 (02:52:36):
I want me on there more. But I told them
we don't need to wear it out, you know, and
I ain't got time for that. I mean, hey, seriously,
I don't have to be up there. I don't want
anything to do with that.

Speaker 2 (02:52:46):
You know.

Speaker 4 (02:52:47):
Of course, people could be asking me when I'm gonna
come back, and you know, I think you said you
talked to me at the main church and my thanks
got twenty five thousand views.

Speaker 2 (02:52:54):
But I mean, you know, but I don't want to
be up there. Hey, I mean you dreams sometimes in
ninety your name about me? Brett out of Georgia. Hey, Brett,
are you the it guy here? Okay, all right, Bret,

(02:53:15):
go ahead.

Speaker 22 (02:53:16):
I wish I was a situation. What are the chances
he had the same agents as Kanye West? Wasn't it
Kanye that got people to come and pay for QUI
to watch him walk around on stags?

Speaker 4 (02:53:29):
Yeah, and that's basically what you're gonna have with Ozzie.
That's a great point. Maybe the same age, but at
Lee's Ozzie will be standing on the stage pretending to
be singing. Kanye just walked around listening to songs. Weird,
there's that sound again?

Speaker 2 (02:53:41):
Is this gonna be through? The whole Bible set. It
sounds like alien. That's good. We just talked to.

Speaker 4 (02:53:44):
Super Tim, the engineer. He said there is something going
on with the building. They can't even get the back
door to shut.

Speaker 2 (02:53:49):
Good. There's some kind of air.

Speaker 6 (02:53:51):
Pressure sawing in the wind in this place is crazy.

Speaker 12 (02:53:54):
Right.

Speaker 4 (02:53:54):

Speaker 2 (02:54:57):
I was just want to say.

Speaker 12 (02:54:58):
I started thinking about the will.

Speaker 2 (02:54:59):
This would be add something to to the you know,
put y'all's name on it, and whoever lands but you.

Speaker 12 (02:55:04):
Know, you know, various small margin of your name. But
if a lands on a name, that's who has to
pay for breakfast that morning.

Speaker 2 (02:55:09):
That's not a bad idea. Who spends that's not a
bad idea. That's good. Jake, welcome to the show.

Speaker 12 (02:55:18):
Hey, listen.

Speaker 31 (02:55:20):
If this guy is having dreams about the show, I
think I'd seriously consider my life and how much I
listen and are obsessed with the show. No offense, No offense,
So wait, we're.

Speaker 4 (02:55:33):
Not supposed to be offended by the fact you think
there's something wrong with people loving what we do.

Speaker 2 (02:55:36):
Yeah, now, we're not offended. Don't worry about that. No
offense at all.

Speaker 31 (02:55:42):
I think he was just trying to look sharp sharpness.

Speaker 2 (02:55:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:55:48):
Hey, no offense. But I don't understand people liking this show. Yeah,
people are wondering it's big foot in the Hall's what
sounds like?

Speaker 2 (02:55:59):
Should we be concerned that that there's that kind of
whipping around.

Speaker 4 (02:56:02):
Through the halls of the My concern is that where
did it come from? But we'll have been here three years. No, no,
Tom said something has changed.

Speaker 2 (02:56:09):
He said, it's happening all over the bill ghost anyway.

Speaker 6 (02:56:12):
It could be are your wind tunnel tests?

Speaker 13 (02:56:15):
This is crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:56:16):
Bottom of the hour.

Speaker 1 (02:56:17):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 3 (02:56:19):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Don't forget the Wednesday
Bible study today at noon several times on the Rick

(02:56:42):
Burgers Show YouTube channel.

Speaker 2 (02:56:45):
Yeah, Daniel eleven today we'll finish it up. You let
me here on your way to paradies. So watching you
right now on the text option.

Speaker 4 (02:56:57):
About the weird winds they're blowing through the building where
we have the studio.

Speaker 2 (02:57:04):
Somebody just brought up to.

Speaker 4 (02:57:05):
Something I had not thought about, Speedy, Did you leave
the hatch open when you went up on the roof?

Speaker 2 (02:57:10):
Would it would have started back then? Because yeah, but
no I closed it it went? Did you leave something?

Speaker 1 (02:57:16):
I go?

Speaker 2 (02:57:18):
Did you? Did you leave I let it down? Did
you leave a door open or something? Is there some
kind of draft coming through? And go speed? But it
seemed like it would have started, you know, before yesterday afternoon.
Don't you think though?

Speaker 4 (02:57:29):
In this building, anytime something's not right, you always have
to go to us first and go Yeah, we're the
most controversial in the building.

Speaker 5 (02:57:37):
I definitely do that, and it's a it's a legit
question on did I close the access door?

Speaker 2 (02:57:41):
But I did. It's kind of heavy, so I let
it go and it lasched. But we talked to super time.
It's happening all over the building. Yeah, and he's a
little two blocked by it. He is. It is weird
that it just started happening.

Speaker 1 (02:57:54):
You know.

Speaker 4 (02:57:55):
The thing I don't like about it at les. One
thing today is the obvious thing. So we do the
Winds Bible study. Well you just heard that coming out
of the break and so we do that today. And
what we do, which is the way things should be done,
is we we have a deal here because we do
it on the YouTube channel. Plus I'm just this way
about things like Bible study. It starts at noon.

Speaker 2 (02:58:15):
So if you're not here at noon, we locked the
door and you can't come in, right so we we
we don't. We don't open it.

Speaker 4 (02:58:22):
But now we're gonna need to leave the door cracked
or it's gonna make that noise. So now people gonna
even the guys who if somebody's late, they'll just come
right in.

Speaker 2 (02:58:30):
Could we could we put a towel at the at
the bottom of the door. I think it needs to
be open for air. Is that that's the problem, right,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:58:39):
I don't know if a towel would even do it. Honestly,
this is crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:58:42):
And I yesterday when we were doing video in yesterday,
we just cracked the door open, and uh, you know,
it feels like have you ever been in an automobile
and somebody cracks their window and you need somebody else
to crack there so so because it starts putting pressure
in the car.

Speaker 2 (02:58:56):
Oh yeah, I hate that. Well, it seems like if
it was.

Speaker 5 (02:59:01):
The door has been opened and closing all morning long
with people going into the offices. But it's only certain
times is it when it is fully open? Adler like
it opens all the way.

Speaker 6 (02:59:11):
Whenever somebody comes in and out of it. From what
I understand, it makes the foods.

Speaker 2 (02:59:16):
How does it go? Let me say, okay, speedy is
going to work with wires?

Speaker 4 (02:59:22):
Yeah, wireless up? Okay, Hope, I don't leave it up
like I did last time. Yeah, I don't have it.

Speaker 2 (02:59:29):
I don't testing one going. No, I didn't have it
the first time.

Speaker 5 (02:59:33):
Hold on, let's see, I'm just going to go out
here and I can't hears.

Speaker 2 (02:59:38):
Hang on there it is hear it noise, guys.

Speaker 4 (02:59:42):
That that's what happens every time he opens that door
right there, and it's wind coming through that door to
the studio.

Speaker 2 (02:59:51):
That's kind of cool.

Speaker 6 (02:59:53):
Col what's cool about It's like a tractor beam. That's cool.

Speaker 2 (02:59:56):
Listen, so you know, well, what do you think can
you hear that or that? Break up?

Speaker 18 (03:00:02):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:00:02):
No, we heard it loud and clear. That is weird.

Speaker 6 (03:00:05):
Okay, I don't get it. You can fill the draft
right here. Yes, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (03:00:13):
Tunnel right, it's crazy.

Speaker 20 (03:00:16):
All.

Speaker 2 (03:00:16):
Let's see. Now, if you keep it cracked, it won't
do it. No crack attack, But that has to.

Speaker 6 (03:00:21):
Be cracked pretty wide. See, you gotta crack it.

Speaker 2 (03:00:25):
You gotta crack it more.

Speaker 6 (03:00:26):
You gotta crack it.

Speaker 2 (03:00:27):
You gotta crack it more. You hear the pitch change, yea,
the pitch did change.

Speaker 6 (03:00:31):
You gotta crack it.

Speaker 2 (03:00:32):
You gotta get it more.

Speaker 6 (03:00:33):
You got a bigger You have to have a bigger crack.

Speaker 2 (03:00:35):
When I opened this door, you could feel the wind
almost knocked me down.

Speaker 1 (03:00:38):
Yes, I know, I know.

Speaker 2 (03:00:39):
You have a hard time breathing. Yeah, Okay, what it is?

Speaker 4 (03:00:44):
Okay, all right, some people think it's you practicing your
big box. But anyway, you know that's it. No, all right,
so there you go.

Speaker 2 (03:00:54):
That was me. Okay, Greg, don't do that. That's terrible.

Speaker 4 (03:00:59):
Greg.

Speaker 2 (03:00:59):
We hate that. Did y'all hear that? Yeah? Well yeah
we heard it. So no, that's me.

Speaker 6 (03:01:07):
Tractors sucked me right up.

Speaker 2 (03:01:09):
So all right, Well I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (03:01:11):
I had to experience that myself to make any sense, right, Yeah,
it didn't make any sense at all.

Speaker 2 (03:01:15):
It is the noise that that door is our door,
Yeah yeah, but it's like it's it's in the drop
ceiling like right above us, but it's going on all
over the building.

Speaker 6 (03:01:24):
No, it's around the door speed, it's around the door.
It's wind coming through and around the doorframe.

Speaker 2 (03:01:28):
No, I know that, but I'm just saying the noise
it just is above me.

Speaker 6 (03:01:31):
No, it's in the doors, man, You don't need to
be getting up in the ceiling. It's around door because
when you open the door, the sound goes away.

Speaker 2 (03:01:38):
I really don't appreciate you talking.

Speaker 6 (03:01:39):
So it's not in the drop ceiling. That was wrong.

Speaker 2 (03:01:41):
There's Tom. Tom, figure it out to Tom, what's going on.
Get on the rug, Greg, please stop doing that. That's terrible.
Get on the rug Tom Interview. Okay, I'm kidding. I
talked to the building. Guys are going to come out
and check.

Speaker 5 (03:01:56):
They were working the other day up here, and something
could be either opening or there could be overflow of air.

Speaker 2 (03:02:02):
I kind of like it. Speed. If you can loan
me your lighter, we'll do a test. Right is coming
in or going? I wish anybody got a flame? Right? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:02:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:02:12):
Okay, well that's all I got right now.

Speaker 5 (03:02:13):
So it's the top is the hatch to the roof.
They're going to check that some more. Did you get
it locked? And I had to get it.

Speaker 2 (03:02:22):
I had to get something cut out of it this
morning and Greg was working. Starting to hurt. It hurts
when they cut you bat yeah, if you get behind
on the pain.

Speaker 4 (03:02:30):
So people all kinds of things there on the text
line and the guy who says, we don't see what
you're texting, but the text are flying up so fast.

Speaker 2 (03:02:36):
If you did, we missed it. I'm sorry. We find
everything lenks don't work in the whatever. When I first
heard it, I thought we just potted the TV up
and that was rf K Jr. Talking Yeah, yeah, I
thought it was so Tom was. Tom was pointing up.

Speaker 5 (03:02:53):
It is theysing up because it's hurting, is coming from
above it.

Speaker 2 (03:02:58):
He's trying to go wrong.

Speaker 1 (03:03:00):
Know.

Speaker 7 (03:03:01):
By the way, before his confirmation, hearing r f K
did some working out. He did a public workout online,
so you can see here he's.

Speaker 2 (03:03:09):
Working. He's that's good. By the way, somebody said a
rat has chewed through the air duck. Okay, so that
what we got.

Speaker 6 (03:03:21):
We got now we got rat.

Speaker 2 (03:03:22):
Go off on them rat. Yeah, okay.

Speaker 5 (03:03:26):
I don't know either the frequency drive is running too
fast and it's over. It's positively president, That's what I was.
Or there's a hole somewhere in the building and airs Russians.

Speaker 2 (03:03:34):
Do you think Speedy left the hatch open when he
went up on the roof. They've been here since then,
so I would say probably not. Thank you Tom. Finally,
somebody it was so cold that day that that was
like early January. Jacks on the roof, Yeah, Speedy, that's uh,
it was snowing. So what was that three weeks ago?
They were good? It just now though it just started kick.

Speaker 5 (03:03:55):
But it is howling in the lobby. Something's going on
in the building. So that's a whole bit figured out.

Speaker 2 (03:04:01):
It could be. I think it's big Boy. I think
it's the people that came in out that snunk so
bad they left something.

Speaker 20 (03:04:08):
Greg.

Speaker 2 (03:04:10):
Yeah, Wow, they were tough out there in that lobby.
Let me tell you that the let me tell you,
Sweet two hundred, you don't ever know. I mean, I'm
telling you what I mean.

Speaker 7 (03:04:26):
Yeah, you said that we're the most controversial people in
the building. I think the scholars going up to Sweet
two hundred might be.

Speaker 4 (03:04:31):
I'm not saying I'm simply saying controversial. I'm not saying, yeah,
if there's trouble in the building, we're always going to
be the usual suspects.

Speaker 6 (03:04:40):
Yeah, that's profiling.

Speaker 2 (03:04:43):
It is profiling. Are just good police work? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:04:45):
Well right, okay, so the management is coming. They did
say I was right, the it's above us.

Speaker 2 (03:04:52):
Right again.

Speaker 6 (03:04:56):
Are we sure you close the hatch speedy?

Speaker 2 (03:04:59):
Yeah I can. Somebody said that. I think it might have.

Speaker 4 (03:05:02):
It was either Jams or kiss f M, which is
our sister stations interviewed dank On there and they said
she came through one of the doors and.

Speaker 18 (03:05:10):
I want.

Speaker 2 (03:05:12):
To do you feel that time it'll blow you down.

Speaker 4 (03:05:19):
You know, we got the urban station. Yeah, all of
a sudden, she'd like the building down like a seal.
They just leave dank in the hall.

Speaker 2 (03:05:35):
We want to.

Speaker 6 (03:05:38):
Like that phone.

Speaker 2 (03:05:39):
Yeah, all right, we'll be back. Anything we can get
to today something, Yeah, something's going on, So we're we're
prompt the door open.

Speaker 1 (03:05:52):
All.

Speaker 2 (03:05:53):
Don't tell people that, well, I mean we have to.
We don't have to. Well, I'm talking about what I
think that noise will go along with your message. Well,
let us bett probably will.

Speaker 3 (03:06:03):

holding for a while, so Jimmy, I know you had
a comment. Thanks for your patience and uh, welcome to
the show.

Speaker 2 (03:07:03):
Go ahead.

Speaker 8 (03:07:05):
Hey, thanks guys, you guys have probably heard on the
news that President Trump is cutting a bunch of those
security details for guys like Millie and Fauci. Yes, well,
you know, Faunci is a smart guy and he's found
a way around it. He's been, uh I just just
heard it on the radio on another channel. He's been

(03:07:27):
advertising was simply safe now and if you if you
call quickly, you can get twenty percent off by using
the code WU hunt hight.

Speaker 2 (03:07:39):
All right, so, Greg, let me ask you this. I mean,
he held on.

Speaker 4 (03:07:44):
Probably almost a half hour really for that one. What
do you think not good investment?

Speaker 2 (03:07:49):
Right? Wasn't terrible? I'm talking about to hold on that one? Yeah,
that was That was a long time to hold on. Greg.

Speaker 4 (03:07:55):
I also wanted to know, man, so RFK Junior is
getting grilled and there's no way that I can listen
to it. And are you is this anything? So I
just I mean, just being honest. He wants America to
be healthier, okay?

Speaker 15 (03:08:12):
Is this is?

Speaker 26 (03:08:14):
This is it?

Speaker 4 (03:08:14):
It's a little different than like say when Pete heg
Sith was talking about we need our military to get
in line and we need to get to where we
can win wars again and and peace through strength. You
know that fires you up. When you get to the
r f K thing, you're kind of like, should we
be healthier?

Speaker 2 (03:08:30):
I guess I mean, isn't it? But I mean that
it doesn't feel the same way. I'm done for you. Well,
I know that I'm just talking. It's not red ink
gets red dye, but the ready well you and I
wanted to get rid of red ink throughout our whole
school experience. Uh so, Adler, here is.

Speaker 1 (03:08:53):
Here.

Speaker 4 (03:08:54):
Here is some comments on this. Megan Kelly she she's
talking about RFK Junior because I wonder how bad they're
treating him because he is a Kennedy but he but
he went with Trump, so that makes him now, yeah,
he's fair game.

Speaker 2 (03:09:10):
Even his own family doesn't like him. They don't like him.
One of the thing asking about that bearry that got
ran over here, right, I'm sure that's in there.

Speaker 4 (03:09:18):
He's an interesting cat. Let's just say you need so here.
Here's what Megan Kelly says. Though regardless of all that,
here's all that matters.

Speaker 2 (03:09:25):
So here we go.

Speaker 26 (03:09:26):
There's no question in the women lane and a lot
of lanes you could land some blows. But my overall
feeling and I think the feeling of a lot of
people who are pro MAHA or MAHA adjacent or at
least interested in what's happening over in that lane is
we don't care.

Speaker 6 (03:09:42):
We want somebody to.

Speaker 26 (03:09:44):
Get the bad food dies out of the food, the
things that have been banned out of our makeup for
thirty years because of their carcinogens. We want somebody who's
going to stop the revolving door at the FDA. So
all these people are, you know, telling us that oxy
conton is not addictive because they want to land a
job with the drug maker who makes you like, that's
the stuff we know he will fight. So it's I

(03:10:04):
kind of approach this not the way I would have
as a Fox News anchor ten years ago.

Speaker 3 (03:10:09):
Like ah oh he.

Speaker 6 (03:10:10):
Did what No, it's like, who cares?

Speaker 2 (03:10:15):
Okay, see that the great right, that's what he got
out of it. He was focused on that guy far. Yeah,
unlike you.

Speaker 4 (03:10:25):
I never noticed him, but I wanted to just so
you know, you know, when you're talking about though somebody,
and he's going to be that there's a lot of
things that he is talking about that are important.

Speaker 2 (03:10:37):
I totally agree on it, and we need to deal
with it.

Speaker 4 (03:10:41):
But then there's almost just that little bit of concern,
just a little just a little bit rises up in
you that he could be a kill joy. I mean
before you know, he's taking everything way from us. I
mean yeah, before yeah, well you have to be careful.
And anytime you allow this stuff to start, the government
it usually never knows where to stop. Before you know it,

(03:11:02):
he's like, you feel good about that waffle, ye, And
I'm like it could be unhealthy. I don't need a
waffle much, but I'd like to eat one every now
and then. You should feel good about that. Yeah, you
know what's in that waffle?

Speaker 18 (03:11:12):
You know?

Speaker 4 (03:11:13):
And then before you know it, it's like, you know,
we start out with the things we all agree on,
that that we think, yeah, that's bad, but you got
to be careful.

Speaker 2 (03:11:20):
That just just a little bit of a little overstep.
He's a little bit of the guy that can come
to the party. Next thing, you know, he says the
music is too loud. You know, he got exactly it
down first.

Speaker 4 (03:11:32):
You know, first of all, he comes in to be
sure nobody drives home drunk, and you go, hey, we're
all on board.

Speaker 2 (03:11:36):
Yeah good. Then the next thing, you know, and the
music's little loud, and I'm like, shoes back on? Right, yeah?
Why why don't you have your shoes on? You know,
don't walk outside without him? It's dangerous, nail, right. It
just I just, I'm just, I'm just. I'm just.

Speaker 4 (03:11:50):
I'm I am, you know, cautiously optimistic. And I do
think that you know we are we are not a
very healthy country, there's no doubt about that. But you
just but you just have to be just a little
bit careful.

Speaker 2 (03:12:03):
He has to dank.

Speaker 7 (03:12:03):
He's already fielding questions and making statements, and the clips
are making the way to the internet.

Speaker 6 (03:12:08):
Do you want to hear a quick clip from him?

Speaker 12 (03:12:09):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (03:12:12):
Set up, it's not a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:12:13):
I don't mean to be mean. I just know how
long he's set you. I really not.

Speaker 6 (03:12:18):
This is at one point five speeds, so that y'all
can actually handle it. It is sped up because of
his voice problem.

Speaker 21 (03:12:24):
The same chemicals that kill fish make people sick. Also, today,
American's overhall health is in grievous condition. Over seventy percent
of adults and a third of children are overweight or obese.

Speaker 2 (03:12:35):
Don't have beauties.

Speaker 21 (03:12:35):
It's ten times more prevalent than it was during the
nineteen sixties. Cancer my young people is rising by one
or two percent.

Speaker 6 (03:12:40):
I can well, he makes some good points.

Speaker 4 (03:12:42):
He was about to finish the point it's all no, no, everything.
Can we not get a spokesperson? Can we not have
like can Osborne speak for him?

Speaker 2 (03:12:52):
Yeah? You know, two minutes of listening to him are
twenty burpies. I'll go with twenty burpies. Wow, at least
that'll be over. Okay.

Speaker 7 (03:13:01):
Well, his point was the US has worse health than
any developed nation, and yet we spend more than everybody else.

Speaker 2 (03:13:07):
Look, I'm just talking about what's wrong with the spokesperson.

Speaker 4 (03:13:10):
I don't know Rick, what what if he does the research,
he gives us the information, and con Ken Oustman consists
the rise and diabetes in our country is alarming and
here are the facts to support that.

Speaker 2 (03:13:24):
And and and r f K just sits next to
him and not Yeah, that's right. I like Larry Patches
to be his voice.

Speaker 6 (03:13:32):
Or Sam Elliott.

Speaker 1 (03:13:37):
Him.

Speaker 2 (03:13:37):
He almost sounds like hank. Okay, you know what that
putrid smell? Yeah? Sorry, Larry, No, Larry's gray.

Speaker 4 (03:13:45):
But I think if we're going to make a voice move,
I'd like to I'd like to have I got other options.

Speaker 2 (03:13:52):
Then there's good diabetes. This country is crazy as Carolyn,
You know what I mean? Do we do we want them?
I guess that mounted police he does kind of make
you breathe another challenge going from a mounty and he
that he wishes he didn't have it, You know he
didn't have what? Yeah, no, I mean it's a struggle.

(03:14:13):
It really is. Takes my breath away a little.

Speaker 4 (03:14:16):
But you know, giving long speeches is required a lot
of times when you kind of walk this out and uh,
And it doesn't mean that he is less knowledgeable. It's
just no, I'm not going to sit here and pretend
that that voice isn't hard to listen to start. Don't
mean anything personally, just it's just a fact you.

Speaker 2 (03:14:35):
Don't hear what he says because you get to concentrate, right.

Speaker 4 (03:14:38):
It's almost like we're being asked to let someone sing
that can't sing, and we can never say they can't sing.

Speaker 2 (03:14:43):
Yeah, we got to sit through the whole song. We
can't go where their voice is not pleasant. I'd rather
than not sing. Would you interview him? How long?

Speaker 1 (03:14:51):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (03:14:51):
Eight minute segment? I can't No, you don't think you
putaid off.

Speaker 4 (03:14:56):
I can't can I can I do things like hey,
r f K, thank you for being on with this.

Speaker 2 (03:15:02):
In three words, tell me the problem with the red
now you can't see it? Right that.

Speaker 6 (03:15:11):
Three words?

Speaker 7 (03:15:13):
Five words chronically ill children.

Speaker 2 (03:15:17):
Okay, please look, let's say he's obviously already been los andes.
It's a great one. We say what that text buch
on fire.

Speaker 4 (03:15:28):
It's like every It's like every single person that texts
this show somehow is filter neat through Greg. Somehow they're
texting on his behalf good one. So but but his
knowledge and the hills right in the middle le yeah yeah, yeah,
uh huh.

Speaker 2 (03:15:46):
Admirer is a spokesperson that's not about it. I would
work all right. Well, first of all, let me say
rod tide. Secondly, a Crimson guy would be fine. But
Red all right, it's not even correct. I wrote
