The Banana Bread and Circus Republic Podcast

The Banana Bread and Circus Republic Podcast’s objective is to explore the ethics of humanity’s course of evolution. We intend to unify intelligent minds and heal the wounds of discord, with emphasis on the humorous aspects of humanity’s technological obsessions, and the current pitfalls in between. This gives us the opportunity to think outside the box, and explore with a light heart, which speaks to the humanitarian values and comedic outlets we live by. This sense of levity gives us hope to reconcile a new quality of life for the inquisitive. In short, this podcast aims to help people. While the podcast embraces the spirit of having fun, the BBCR endorses responsible substance use, respectful language, and cohesive skill building.

In this episode, we assess the dilemmas of our time. And explore how we can use our abilities to have a sense of self-directed behavior modification when we recognize that we are headed toward a waterfall in a raft flowing toward it. Like the ability to live with the land instead of on it. We are solar beings at heart, we need to just let our hearts shine. Hope you enjoy this conversation. Stay safe out there, cheers!

This episode was recorded in early September of 2023, where we discussed the dangers of the banking system, in that we have lost our way as a social species. Our primary survival mechanism has been to work together as a team, and not allow the bankers to dictate our means of survival for us. With the advent of the Federal Reserve, and the banking system trying to artificially prop up the economy in the ideological echo bubble that...

In this episode, we discuss some pretty heady implications of what dreams mean to our sense of consciousness in our journey through life. Like revitalizing the mind and domesticating it at the same time. But how do you stay in touch with the past and simultaneously keep the future in focus, while enjoying the present at the same time?

In this episode, we acknowledge the commoditized preferences leading to economic cycles that boom and bust over time. Gold is trending up, and banks are starting to fail on their balance sheets again... What does this tell us? And what can we do about it? Just remember, the creditworthiness of the fiat-based system is not for the people, but for the perpetrators of the system: the bankers. Sleep well folks!

This episode was recorded in late August of 2023 when we discussed the dangers of central banking and what we can do for ourselves when the day of reckoning comes along. This conversation was a tribute to consciously recognizing how we may be inadvertently self-sabotaging ourselves by trusting such a volatile and broken system of trade when we devalue our currency supply and kid ourselves into believing that we can somehow borrow o...

This episode was recorded before and after the solar eclipse of 2024. We were lucky enough to be in the line of full totality, and it was an ineffable cosmic event. And we discussed both the beautiful eventualities of it and some of the dyer possibilities of it. It was a monumental celestial event that has helped us remember how profound it is to be alive. Cheers folks!

This episode was recorded in late February 2024, where we discussed a variety of topics surrounding empathy as a dynamic of our species and how our four-legged friends can help us improve our ability to possess and exercise it. Forming a bond with pets is a key component of this, and one of the reasons it's important for us to not tune out our connection to the rest of the animal kingdom and become too divided by the socioeconomic ...

This episode was recorded just before Daylight Savings time, in early March of 2024. We discussed how to navigate challenging relationships with those who know where our buttons are, so to speak. And maintain a sense of dignity and empathy.

As beings with souls, we have to work to retain our animal qualities; and question the corporate global takeover of digitalizing human beings by making "smart" devices our new umbilical cords. T...

In this St. Patty's day segment, we celebrated with some good eats, humbiont mead, and that dank 78 sauce. We discussed how the dominance of monotheism and monocultural practices creates a lack of appreciation for the biodiversity we need to not only survive but thrive in the turbulent times ahead. This dominant society model represents a short-sighted monocle that ignores the larger picture, and we are becoming less connected to o...

In this episode, we reflect on the relevance of adjusting to daylight savings time, the flow state, and how we spend our time wisely. By being the creatures of habit that we are, it's important to still make room for expecting things to make less and less sense. With having to navigate the times and the weather, we should be prepared to increase our mental flexibility, and willingness to adapt, as much as possible.

This episode was recorded in early February 2024, when we discussed matters related to the unrelenting AI monster making our decisions for us and the backlash that comes from a society that has tuned itself out. Didn't get too serious, we left room for laughs and discussed some flicks along the way, too. But at the same time, it's important to acknowledge the fact that we need to remember that we're supposed to be a nomadic species...

In this episode, we sit down with Tom to shoot the shit about life and the pitfalls of industrialization, including nefarious plots, the ups and downs of organized religions, and probably being wrong about the origin of apples. As well as the importance of moving past the fundamentalism of stories in our course of development, and gaining perspective on how forever wars are detrimental to our future. Please enjoy!

This episode was recorded In mid-August 2023, where we talked about some of the nuances of augmentative/alternative communication support for people with developmental challenges in that department, and what this can teach us about ourselves, and how varying autism spectrum disorder can be from one individual to the next. This episode was recorded in late October of 2023. We talked about how living in the world means living with each other, and that every individual needs to find a way to summon their own unique capacity for work ethic, in a way that supports sustainable co-habitation. This episode was recorded on the back deck during a breezy day in mid-August of 2023. We discussed a wide range of topics from chronic back pain, to being mired as a species in the constant loops of virtue-signaling, to exploring a means of how to play the game of life with confidence.
