Enjoy the podcast two three starting your morning off right.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding,
because we're in this together.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
This is your morning show with Michael Dell choun.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
You know what we need is a door open sound
Okay from when I answered, all right, one of those
just slam the door shut, I got any word bread.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Well that's not the same.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Seven minutes after the hour, Welcome to Tuesday, March, the
fourth year of Our Lord, twenty twenty five. On the
air and streaming live on your iHeartRadio app. This is
your morning show. I'm Michael del Journo. Here to serve you.
Here to serve me is and you is Jeffrey Lyon
on the sound, and Red keeping an eye on the content.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Red very quiet this morning.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, and I noticed a few of the bottles of
the bourbon in the background are down a bit, just
a tad. The theme of President Trump's address tonight, which
is technically we'll get into this with White House Corus.
But I got a picture from Decker yesterday afternoon, just
setting up for my coverage of the State of the Union.

(01:28):
And it's got him in with the background. You know,
he has a little set. So I said, I'm setting
up too, and I sent him a picture of my
feet with the TV in the background. That's me setting
up for the It is technically not a State of
the Union, but Trump will address a joint session of
Congress tonight the theme renewal of the American Dream. The
President is also ordering a pause in all military aid

(01:50):
to Ukraine, that is both cash and munitions. Also that
twenty five percent tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada
is now in effect. And he did get his Education
secretary finally confirmed. Linda McMahon. I wanted to, you know,
if we were all doing a little test among ourselves,

(02:12):
what was the one thing Donald Trump promised, What was
the one thing Donald Trump really built his twenty sixteen
campaign on, And really not much different in twenty twenty four,
and that was securing the border, ending the invasion. The
immigration numbers speak for themselves. Border Encounters February twenty twenty two,

(02:41):
one hundred and sixty six thousand, twenty twenty three, one
hundred and fifty six thousand, twenty twenty four. The ultimate
invasion one hundred and eighty nine really was one hundred
ninety It was one hundred and eighty nine thousand, nine
hundred and thirteen. Joe Biden February twenty twenty four, one

(03:04):
hundred ninety thousand in February Border encounters. Donald Trump February
twenty twenty five, eight thousand, three hundred. What would the
percentage of that be? A percent reduction? Everybody's concerned about
the OSCARS viewership was down? Was it six percent? Eight percent?

(03:29):
What would this be from one hundred and ninety thousand
to eight thousand? All right, So the main thing that
Donald Trump promised was to secure the border. He has
done it, and he clearly did it immediately. The other
thing that I think we would all agree was a

(03:50):
clear promise and expectation was to fix the cost of living.
And they're two different things. Cost of living slash inflation
that has yet to be done. And if anything else,
the headlines suggesting these tariffs would point to you're gonna
feel a little pain, especially with automobiles and other goods

(04:14):
and services, so because that will get passed out of
the consumer. So he enters with great confidence and great
accomplishment on one half and an in progress on the other.
And I do think it's probably fair to say the
President was hoping to have at least the framework for

(04:36):
a deal to end the war in Ukraine in Russia,
and that clearly was a setback on Friday. So it's
kind of interesting. The President will, of course, much as
he did in his State of the Union and then
now in this not officially State of the Union, but

(04:58):
he did in his inaugural dress, he'll address the renewal
of the American Dream. I do think it's also fair
to say that the president, you know, probably set out
to restore law and order, common sense, self evident truth.
There's been a lot of progress on that front, and

(05:21):
I'm sure there'll be a lot of that in the
speech and along those lines. By the way, rom em
Manuel One scorched earth on Bill Maher. Now this made
the sounds of the day, But just to give you
a little bit of a clip of what Robby Manuel
said with Bill Maher. And the conversation began with just
kind of joking about the Chicago Maryor's approval rating being

(05:46):
six point six percent, to which Robby Manuel said, well
that's rounded up to seven, and everybody laughed, and then
he was talking about what is broken in already inner cities.
Now he wasn't alone in the conversation, and so the
conversation kind of drifted from is this a Chicago problem?

(06:07):
Is this an inner city problem? Or is this a
Democrat party problem?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Now?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
For read Zakara from CNN, he said, never mind, just
focusing on the classroom versus the bathroom. This is a
Democrat party problem. Here's the shortest clip of problem.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Manuel.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Listen, another word about the bathroom. You better start focusing
on the classroom.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I'm not no, I'm all right, agree good.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
We have the worst reading We have the worst reading
scores for eighth graders in thirty years, and nobody, not
a governor, not a mayor, not a president, not a
secretary of education, is talking about it.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
We're all wrapped up. Look in seventh grade.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
If I know that I could have said the word
they got in the girls bathroom.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I would have done it. You know, I said that
several times.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I just know me thirteen, I would have done it.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I really would have. He's joking.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Why do I play this clip for you? Well, obviously
they've got a problem in Chicago. And the problem is
this mayor and Lori lightfoot before him. Now, the question
is is this the mirror of Chicago's problem focusing majoring
on the majors rather than the miners, or is this
Democrat party problem? I think you know the answer is both.

(07:27):
But Rommie Manuel's making the clear point. We got to
stop focusing on all this nonsense. Never mind the bathroom,
the classroom. We can't read in an eighth grade level.
That's the problem in education. He also goes on to
elaborate what the and this is speaks to priorities. Municipalities
set priorities, state said priorities.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
The nation has priorities. You're the mayror of a city.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
He talks about the three keys, schools, safe streets, business,
attracting new business.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's it. You know.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
One of the interesting questions is really what I'm going
to be implying, what are these mayors thinking. Are mayors
thinking about their city or are they thinking about the
next step to governor or? This is my pathway to
the presidency ultimately, if it's a large city. Remember Gavin

(08:31):
Newsom was the mayor of San Francisco. Some of this
cultural sexuality and gender chaos all began with him.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
He was the mayor of San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
He went out on the front steps and started handing
out marriage licenses to gaze. That made its way all
the way to the presidency and all the way to
the Supreme Court redefining personhood. Are these cities going to
hell in a handbasket because mayors are auditioning for governor
of president. It's a legitimate question. You know why I

(09:08):
ask it because I think Romney Manuel is He's the
former mayor of Chicago. Prior to that, the chief of
staff for Barack Obama. Now he pops up just to
take a cheap shot against his party's mayor in a
failing city, Chicago. Remember how we always talk about Adam Schiff,

(09:38):
Chucky Schumer, aoc. These are the nobodies. These are the
non players filling dead air somewhere in a war room.
The people that really run the Democrat Party and the
deep state along with it. They're putting a plan together.

(09:58):
They know they don't have a they know they don't
have a message. They're laying low, they're playing bossom and
they're gonna let idiots like Carvel and others talk. But
they're forming a plan. I'm wondering if this was a
sneak peek at one of their plans. I kept saying,

(10:19):
shut up and pivot.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Now.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
I don't root for Democrats. I have nothing in common
with them, but that's what I would do. And that's
exactly what Romney Manuel did. It's gonna be somebody transformative
to change the conversation. Now the question is will the
party accept it or reject it? So think of all

(10:45):
the trans and LGBTQ and all that within the party.
What do they make of Romney Manuel's comments. Oh, that's fine,
he's probably right if you're mayor. Really, but that's your
kids in school. Well they let him major in majors again,
is what I'm asking. And I don't know. It's a

(11:06):
very divided party that I don't even think will exist
in its present form by the end of the decade.
But I wasn't born yesterday. And I'm here to tell
you that was an audition that may have been your
first glimpse behind the curtain of the real people behind
the Democrat Party and who they're working on.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
And it's Ronnie Manuel.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
You better start focusing on the classroom.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah, I'm not. I agree. Good. We are the worst.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
We have the worst reading scores for eighth graders in
thirty years, and nobody, not a governor, not a mayor,
not a president, not a secretary of education, is talking
about it.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
We're all wrapped up.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Nor were you, by the way, when you were executing
this social Democrat party agenda. By the way, he elaborates
on the turning against cops. Now we can't even have
stores because of Shoplin and the chaos his party created.
Now he was trying to do it without saying the party,
and lay it all on this mayor, not him, not Obama,

(12:08):
not the party, not their worldview, nothing. Just lay it
all on this mare like he's suddenly the sensible one
in the room. He was doing this strategy when he
was mayor. He was executing this strategy as the chief
of staff for Barack Obama. They'll try to play the
game that Oh, never mind, my resume, never mind my

(12:28):
role in this. Now I'm the wise one in the
room saying this is ridiculous. You're worried about the bathroom,
look at the classroom. You're worried about the police doing
something a little excessive. Here, by and large, we have
chaos now in no law in order. Now I think
he might be the kind of person they'll pivot with
because you won't remember. That's what made I don't know

(12:55):
if Red caught this I did. That's what made it
so laughable to me that Fared Zakari, the liberal pundit
from CNN, is sitting right next to him. By the way,
didn't you hear what I just said? Liberal pundit? And
now the liberal pundits saying, well, you're right about that,
but I disagree with one thing. It's a Democrat party problem,

(13:17):
not just a mayor of Chicago problem. You mean all
the things faried that you have stood for, the narratives
you have sold, the candidates you have propped up. Now
you've had a great awakening. Ronnie Manuel's had a great awakening.

(13:42):
Mayors should focus on classrooms, law enforcement, and jobs. What
next you'd like to talk about the renewal of the
American Dream too. I'll cut right to the chase. They're
still looking for a leader. I think it's Wes Moore,

(14:05):
but don't rule out Rommy Manuel. There was no one
closer to John Podesta or Barack Obama than Rommy Manuel.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
It's Your Morning Show with Michael Delchano.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
The theme of President Trump's not officially in State of
the Union but addressed to a joint session of Congress tonight.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Is renewal of the American Dream.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
A White House official told ABC News of the theme,
saying Trump will focus on his record so far, the economy,
border security, and his plan for global peace. A White
House statement says Trump has accomplished more in a month
than any president has in four years, and that the
joint address will be must see TV. Trump's speech is
sent to start at nine pm Eastern Time.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
I'm Mark Neeview, Coresident Trump York.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
President Trump announced yesterday a high profile chip maker, a
Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company, will be investing in least one
hundred billion dollars in the US.

Speaker 7 (15:03):
The money will go towards building two advanced chip making
facilities in Arizona, adding to the three plants already under construction.
Tens of thousands of jobs are expected to be created.
President Trump said the investment will allow TSMC to start
manufacturing AI and smartphone chips in the US. TSMC is

(15:23):
the largest chip maker in the world. Most of those
chips produced in Taiwan. US officials have grown increasingly concerned
that if China reclaims the island, the US could lose
access to the chips, which power everything from smartphones to
cars to AI. Tony Waterman Texas Eric Clapton is announcing

(15:45):
a short run of US tour dates later this year.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Wallflowers will be joining legendary musician for six dates that
begin September eighth the Nashville. It'll also hit Cleveland, Another
Your Morning Show City, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, before wrapping
things up in Connecticut. Tickets where his twenty twenty five
tour go on sale on Friday. In sports, Piston's won
Big one thirty four, one oh six over the Jazz Grizz,

over the seventy six ers, Warriors, beat the Hornets one
nineteen one oh one and the Whiz lost to the
Heat one oh six ninety on the ice Caps five
four of the Senators lightning loss to the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Kings lost five to one to the Blackhawks. Hey, this
is John Watson.

Speaker 8 (16:29):
My morning show is your Morning Show with Michael del Jorno.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Hey it's me Michael.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Your Morning show is heard live from five to eight
am Central, six to nine am Eastern, three to six
am Pacific on great radio stations like News Radio eleven
ninety k EX in Portland, News Talk five point fifty
k f YI, and Phoenix, Arizona Freedom one oh four
seven in Washington, d C. We'd love to have you
join us live in the morning, even take us along
on the drive to work. But better late than never.

(17:01):
Enjoyed the podcast.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Use that talk back button on your iHeartRadio app, just
like this listener did in Arizona.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
What a cuomo in New York.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
I'm Jefferson Morgan in a patchy junction, Arizona and the
Jorno Show is my morning show.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Oh boy, Okay, First things first here, when I was
in the middle of a newscast, you fire him when
I call for him? You don't fire him, well, you
leave it open first and foremost to you. Secondly, it's
del Giorno Dell as in Dell computers, Dell, not de dell.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
To.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Jorno is a pizza. Del Giorno is a pizza eater.
If you just think j O r n o instead
of g i O r n o, you'll say it right. Jorne,
though it comes from born Jarno, del Giorno means of

(18:04):
the day. That means that I come from a family
of street vendors. We probably sold fresh fruit, and to
say it was fresh, we said it was Del Jarno
is of the day. Still many soups named after me.
But yes, use that talkback butt, and we'd love to
hear from you throughout the show. There's a lot to
talk about.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
You know.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
If we were like sitting on a subway today going
through an old fashioned newspaper concerning the president.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Great accomplishment.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
February a year ago, our illegal border crossings were one
hundred ninety thousand February this year last month six thousand,
from one hundred and ninety thousand to six thousand. Donald
Trump kept his promise and secured the border. And he
did so proto now as far as ending the war

(18:52):
that never would have started if he were a president,
had a rough Friday morning. We're going to visit with
David Zanati about this. Also Stephen Buci, one of my favorite.
It's filling in for James Carafano who was out of
the country. We'll talk more about that. And you know,
clearly it didn't go well. Whose fault is it. It's interesting,
you know, you go back and you really watch that

(19:14):
over and over again, and you may come to one
of two conclusions. It was Zelensky's fault, or it was
jd Vance's fault. I wonder if jd Vance has not
said a word, if there had been one more question
and they'd have gone to lunch. Talk more about that
with David Sanadi. But obviously a step back from that
still possible. But he can't claim that accomplishment tonight in

(19:36):
a joint Session of Congress speech. Also, you got the
President condemning Zelensky's remarks at the war's end is far away.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
The president is willing to get is not willing to
give that up. And jd. Vance appeared with.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Schun Hannity and made it crystal clear he still thinks
everything can be salvaged. But in the meantime, the President
cut off all military a to Ukraine. And when I
say all military, I mean I can't say it good
Dave Ramsey on the phone, He'll have to say it
for me. Cash that means cash and weapons, giving him

(20:12):
a glimpse of what it might be like. We did
in our opening segment shameless plug for the podcast if
you missed it and we're still asleep, we covered how
ex Chicago Mayor Ronny Manuel just scorched earth on the
mirror of Chicago, or was he put his first foot

(20:38):
on the stage for twenty twenty eight. He's at least
showing the left how to pivot with Bill Maher Pope Francis.
I mean, it just seems to be one step forward
and two steps back, doesn't it. He had two respiratory

(20:58):
episodes and now finds himself back on ventilation. It seems
to be endo bronchial mucus resulting in bronchiospasms of some
kind of you know, at some point, you know, we
thought was aspiration. But at some point I'm beginning to
think there might be some issues, not just with pneumonia.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Bread's already shaking his head.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
But I wonder for we're in a little bit of
heart failure here because fluid is just building up constantly.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Things are not looking good this morning for Pope Francis.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
And finally, you know, look, my son has a style.
It's not the greatest style in the world. I was
outside cleaning up the deck and the door opens and
my son goes dead.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Do you know Kobe Bryant.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
I almost immediately fell to the ground because whenever my
son says he dead, do you know that person's dead?

Speaker 2 (22:04):
And I remember I looked at him. I went, yeah,
Kobe Bryant, he can't be daddy. He said his twenties.
He's dead.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Put his helicopter crash. I mean, that's how he does it.
So I want to compare. This is me versus Red. Right,
So Nick walks in my bedroom last night, Dad, do
you know Carl Dean? Now you guys live in Nashville.
When I say Carl Deane, what do you think of
I think of Mayor Carl Deane.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
That's what I thought. If the mayor died, Well, Carl
Dean died, Yeah, and then I'm in.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
This whole tailspan that our former maraor died and he goes,
Dolly Paulden's husband, and I said.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Well, you could have led with that different. Carl Dean
Red did something completely different.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Red tries to break the news to his wife and says,
you know, Dolly Parton, and then she starts already starting almost.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
To cry, and he goes, no, no, no, her husband died.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Well you could have started with that, you know, save
me a couple of laughs around me, anxiety pull. I
didn't realize he had Alzheimer's. He was eighty two years old.
For those of you listening across the country, you can't fathom.
I'm trying to think, maybe Will Rogers in Oklahoma, how
would you explain to somebody what Dolly Pardon's presence is

(23:19):
in Tennessee. It's she owns the state Royalty, royalty probably
queen queen, Like, yes, I mean when we had fires
that destroyed pigeon forage in Gatlinburg, she wrote checks, She
rebuilt people's houses. She is one of the most amazing people.
But there is loved and there is whatever Dolly Bardon is.

(23:42):
So you have to appreciate that. To know, you throw
around death in Dolly Pardon's name, that's the moment everyone's dreading.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
I've often said with my wife, I don't know what
the state's going to do when she dies. I don't
think we're all going to go to work. I really don't.
I don't know what will happen. There will be a
week of mourning, there'll be a yeah, I mean, it'll
be like I go back to Will Rogers in Oklahoma.
Maybe Royalty was a great example. But I don't know
that there's anybody else that I could, even Elvis in Tennessee,

(24:13):
probably Elvis in Memphis. Probably Elvis in Memphis, the Mannings,
maybe Mannings in New Orleans.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
No, Dolly's bigger than that. She really is. I mean,
I've lived both. She's bigger than that. I mean, she's
bigger than it's everybody.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
It's kids to the elderly, it's men and women.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
She's I don't know. Probably will Will Rogers.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Oklahoma and and probably Elvis Memphis would be the only
two analogies that makes sense. But yeah, her husband, make
sure you make that clear when you make the announcement
to somebody. Dolly Pardon's husband has died at the age
of eighty two.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
We believe Alzheimer's is the long term cause of death.
And we finally have an Education Secretary, Linda McMahon. She
will be taking over.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Now the question becomes, I think that's more of an
after one hundred days for sure, what is the vision
for education? From a romy manual perspective, it's gets your
eyes off the bathroom and back on the classroom. From
a Republican perspective, it might get the federal government's grubby
hands out of it. They get back to the municipalities

(25:19):
or closer to the parents and the teachers themselves. So
that's kind of a little overview of everything going on
today that we call March the fourth, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Let's get to your top five stories of the day.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
President the United States is going to address a Joint
Session of Congress tonight, not officially a State of the Union,
but a Joint Session of Congress speech on the renewal
of the American Dream.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
We get the details from Mark Mayfield, a.

Speaker 6 (25:41):
White House official told ABC News of the theme, saying
Trump will focus on his record so far, the economy,
bord of security, and his plan for global peace. A
White House statement says Trump has accomplished more in a
month than any president has in four years, and that
the joint address will be must see TV. Trump's speech
is set to start at nine pm Eastern Time.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I'm Mark Neview.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
President Trump says the US stupidly gave away three hundred
and fifty billion dollars to Ukraine.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Brian shook us all morning long reports.

Speaker 9 (26:09):
Speaking from the White House Monday, Trump said former President
Biden gave away the funds so Ukraine could fight Russia
and got nothing in return. We could have rebuilt our
entire US navy with three hundred and fifty billion.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Think of it, three hundred and fifty billion.

Speaker 9 (26:22):
He added that despite the tough rhetoric between himself and
President Zelensky, their rare Earth mineral deal is still a go.
Friday spat with Trump led to a quick exit of
Zelensky from the White House, casting doubt on future US
support for Ukraine's defense.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
I'm Brian Schuck.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Senator Ted Cruz is getting some high profile backing for
his bill that would criminalize deep fake and revenge pornography.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Tammy Trahilo reports the.

Speaker 8 (26:48):
Texas Republican was backed Monday by First Lady Malania Trump.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
The widespread presence of abusive behavior in the digital domain
facts the daily lives of children.

Speaker 8 (27:01):
The so called Take It Down Act adds new protections
for victims. It would criminalize the posting of what is
called non consensual intimate imagery, including pictures that are created
by artificial intelligence. Social media sizes would be required to
have procedures to respond to complaints, including the swift takedown
of posts. I'm Tammy trhio.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
We interrupt this newscast from my thoughts out loud? Do
we even have? We ever had a series on cybercrime, you.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Know, like cybercrime New York or LA cybercrime or Chicago
cyberc got to.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Do with Chicago Med, Chicago New York Med. You got
to have one?

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I think that would because that's where everything's headed, right
cybry might as wells CSI. How many csis did we
have at CSI New York Miami?

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Of them? Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
An alleged New York City cybercrime crew is being charged
with stealing and reselling concert tickets, including Taylor Swift.

Speaker 8 (27:59):
Queen's Turning.

Speaker 10 (28:00):
Melinda Katz says Tyron Rose worked for Step Up and
was able to illegally download six hundred and thirty five
thousand dollars worth of tickets over the course of a year,
reselling them for a massive profit.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Can I ask you a question?

Speaker 10 (28:15):
Tickets were mostly for Taylor Swift concerts, but also for
high value events such as NBA Games and the US Open.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Well, if we're going to compare Dolly Partner to Royalty
in Tennessee. Our Queen's heart is broken and our thoughts
and prayers are with her. Her husband of sixty almost
sixty years has passed away. Mark Mayfield's back with the story.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Hardon announced to a post on Instagram that her husband

age of eighty two. The paramid in nineteen sixty four,
and we're married in nineteen sixty six, with Dean staying
mostly out of the spotlight. Martin's statement added that the
two spent many wonderful years together and that words can't
do justice to the love that we shared.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
For over sixty years. I'm Mark Mayfield. This just a
former mayor of Nashville. Carlton is doing fine. Today.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
This is a day I think I may have to
go out and actually celebrate an honor of Bree Tennis.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
It's National Pancake Day.

Speaker 11 (29:30):
The International House of Pancakes is behind today's national day.
They started it back in two thousand and five as
a way to raise money for charity. Today you can
donate to Feeding America at any I hop and score
a free short stack of pancakes. That's three free pancakes

I'm pre tennis in Basketball of your morning show Interest Cities.
Pistons won Big Griz lost Thunder by nine over the Rockets,
Kings beat them as Trailblazers won by seventeen over the
seventy six ers, Words beat the Hornets, and the Whiz
lost to the Heat and Hockey. The Caps won five
to four over the Senators, Lightning lost to the Panthers two.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
To one, and the King's lost five to one. Of
the black Hawk's.

what originally setv Home alone? What do you say for
Catherine O'Hara, I still think.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Of Shit's creak? How did yeah that? But he was
famaly home alone? But home alone? Yeah, home alone? Mom.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Catherine O'Hara is seventy one years old today. Everybody loves Raymond.
Every Republican loves Patricia Heaton sixty seven years old. Today,
I'm boom boom Mancini one of our boys, sixty five
years old, the former champ is today. But your birthday,
Happy birthday. We're so glad you were born, and thanks
for waking up with your morning show. Hey, what if
there was a way to effectively defend yourself de escalate

(30:52):
a situation without the irreversible consequences of deadly force? Ian,
do you really want to pull the trigger and deal
with the final al and mental repercussions we're having to
defend yourself in court. Adam Alexander was on his way
to his night shift, person swerving in front of him,

(31:12):
slamming on the brakes. Quickly, Adam assessed this driver behind
the vehicle was clearly intoxicated and was aggressively approaching his vehicle. Thankfully,
Adam had been prepared to defend himself. He took out
his burner launcher, quickly dialed nine to one one Adam

(31:33):
put the laser on the man's chest and with that
road raging driver, what does he do? He backs down
and gets in his car. Law enforcement arrived shortly after.
That's how you avoid harm, that's how you de escalate.
That's how you save two lives. Legal in all fifty states,
no permits or background checks are needed.

would like you to send us as a preset. By
the way, but using your talkback button, you never have
to wait on hold.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Suffer not by.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
First morning, Gang Chucky Schumer met with Zelenski and ir
before he met with the President.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Hmmm.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
I wonder if that could have been the reason why
Selenski refused to cooperate.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
David Sai and I had a long thank you. I
talked over the best part when he said, great show.
We had a long conversation about this yesterday off the hear.
Try to recreate some of it for you on the
here today. But you know, I'm pretty fixated on the
fact that we first sent the Treasury secretary all the
way to Kiev and be sent made it very clear

(33:12):
to him we need to see where all the money's
been going.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
We need some accountability.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
And then two, we're going to do this mineral rights
deal which will put our presence in your country that
will ensure our interest in protecting you wouldn't sign it then,
and said I'll sign in Munich. Then he gets to
Munich and JDD Vance is there, Marco Rubio's there, still

(33:39):
refuses to sign it, then decides to fly all the
way to the United States come to the Oval office
and then that stunt takes place. Now, if he hadn't
played that game in Munich and Kiev before that, you know,
there might be some some reason to think, yeah, he
met with some Democrats that juiced him up and changed

(33:59):
his mind. I don't think so. This is the third
act of the same play, and I'm not buying it
a third time. I don't have names.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
So next caller to put it in perspective, Dolly Parton
as bigger than Betty White. Oh, I don't think Betty White.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
I mean Betty White was a national treasure, yes, but
not like And again I'm not talking about how the
world or America used Dolly Pardon. I'm trying to from
inside Tennessee explain to people what Dolly Pardon means. And
it really isn't you know. I use the analogy of
Elvis in Memphis. Of course, Elvis was more about the
music and the cultural phenomenon. But it's really not even

(34:39):
about Dolly's music. It's I mean, I'm telling you she's
like the queen of the state. It's the brand. Yeah,
it's the brand. But keep using that talk back. But
we'd love to hear from you. We need to take
a quick break. When we come back, we're gonna visit
with Roy O'Neil.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
We're all in this together. This is Your Morning Show
