American Salars está lista para expandir sus operaciones de litio en el Triángulo del Litio de Argentina mediante la adquisición del 75% de participación en el Proyecto Salar de Pocitos. Esta adquisición, que abarca 10 concesiones, aumentará significativamente la presencia de la empresa en la región en un 1.635%. La compañía planea integrar datos históricos y perforaciones existentes para actualizar las estimaciones de recursos, con el objetivo de avanzar hacia la producción comercial. Según el CEO Nick Horsley, la expansión del Salar de Pocitos representa un cambio de juego para la empresa, especialmente tras consultas con las principales compañías mineras de litio. La empresa tiene previsto avanzar con estudios de alcance y factibilidad. Además, American Salars estará presente en la Convención de la Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) para discutir estos avances.
