Já é conhecido o calendário dos debates para as eleições legislativas de 18 de maio, as segundas no espaço de pouco mais de um ano. O principal frente a frente, que opõe Luís Montenegro a Pedro Nuno Santos, está marcado para 28 de abril e será transmitido em direto nos três canais generalistas: SIC, RTP1 e TVI. Os primeiros dois debates acontecem a 7 de abril e o primeiro na SIC é entre Pedro Nuno Santos (PS) e Mariana Mortágua (BE), no dia seguinte. A SIC vai transmitir também, entre outros, os confrontos de ideias entre Luís Montenegro (AD) e André Ventura (Chega), a 24 de abril, e o debate entre Pedro Nuno Santos (PS) e Rui Tavares (Livre), no dia 17 de abril.
