It's Me, Tinx

I am back from Coachella and I have a full update for all of you including my fav performances.  While at Coachella I was really feeling myself, and it got me thinking about how this positive mindset and feeling "hot" came later in life.  So I want to talk about my experience of being a late bloomer, and hopefully my fellow late bloomers all feel seen.

Today we are revisiting one of my fav episodes, with Sarah Hoover talking all about her incredible memoir, "The Motherload: Episodes From The Brink Of Motherhood".  We have an honest conversation about the life-changing experience of motherhood, while pushing back against the rosy narrative we’ve been sold.  Whether you are a mom, about to become a mom, or thinking about becoming a mom, this episode is for you!

I have survived Coachella and transporting a singular cat across the country, and as I recover mentally and physically, I was in no way prepared for the headlining call today.  A woman calls and asks the age old question, "to send a hey girly text or not ?".  I rarely (if ever) say yes, but in this case I make an exception.  You need to hear this less than mediocre man story to believe it!

I know you are expecting an Office Hours episode today, BUT I couldn't wait until Monday to talk about the "White Lotus" finale.  Everyone is breaking down every turn & outcome, but what I am obsessed with is the female friendship storyline.  I take these three women who I have loved watching so much (flaws & all), and apply my theories to them.  

Real Housewives of Atlanta, tariffs, and a touch of White Lotus finale (check out Fridays ep for a full react).  Then into your calls including dealing with dangerous men, cheating men, and men with anti-women sentiments.  Just another live show!

Coachella is upon us, and I couldn't be more excited to get out to the desert.  Every year I wonder if I want to go back the following year, and I found out the answer is always YES, I do.  Also I haven't done it in a while so I am bringing you some of my favorite products, places, and things from the month of March.

Some stuff you will learn today if you didn't already know about me.  I hate bad texters, I am into season 3 of "White Lotus", and I love a potato in most every form.  Also some AMA from you including a bridesmaid who feels uncomfortable about the amount of trash a fellow bridesmaid is talking about her, how to re-ignite the crush list, and more!

Just some of the usuals at the top including carbs & birth control.  Then I get into something that I feel very strongly about, the social media groups "Are We Dating the Same Guy?".  I am vehemently opposed to them, they do us women no good, and they never work the way we intend them to against horrible men.  That said let this be a reminder, living well is truly the best revenge.

Back by popular demand, it is my bestie, my ride or die, my go to for a Tuesday night martini....PIG!  We had so much fun the first time, that I welcome Pig back for round 2.  We play a fun game in which we decide if we are hooking up with a potential suitor or running far far away. Then give you a peak behind the curtain of our weird, wild, and incredible friendship. 

Well I haven't said it too many times, BUT we have a first!  We start off with a caller who works for a major corporation in which hugging is prevalent.  She explains not only between friends and co-workers, but direct reports and managers, HUGGING....AT WORK!  Oh and some outfit suggestions for a rage weekend in Miami, and a 22 year old who is deciding whether to take the leap of faith and move to NY.

My new book "Hotter in the Hamptons" is coming out on May 6th, and I can't wait for you all to read it.  In todays episode I explain why I decided to write this book.  This is my first fiction novel, so I take you through how I came up with the idea, all the way up through it's completion.

When your best friend asks for a redo guesting appearance, you give it to him.  Today I welcome Lucas for his second appearance on the pod.  No one knows me better than him and we discuss dating, doggy, DJ'ing, and more.  So here is hoping you love this episode as much I did recording it....because I don't know if I will let him back for a 3rd try.

Ok now onto what I want to talk about today.  I have an article about a woman who caught her husband watching CORN, and she lost her mind. I weigh in on CORN and why it shouldn't necessarily be viewed as something negative.  

I got an AMA on Instagram Monday that had my inbox blowing up.  A girl said she was asked to sit out the remainder of a bachelorette party, and disinvited from the wedding for throwing up after a hard night of partying.  I weighed in with the facts I had, but today someone else from the party called in to tell the other side of the story.  It's a wild follow up!
