I slept with the words you left me Had bad dreams all through the night The world sought out to hurt me as with you they had aligned 

They took your rant, although untrue then filled with rage from baseless views All two-faced, one came unglued They screamed and cried; they all were you 

the looks upon their faces were the same as the next  as they dug in and took up root so deep within my nest

Behind your eyes I could still see the traces Blinded by the lies as I traverse the sea of faces 

I am not sad, I'm not the things you say I never get mad, unless I'm drinking on that day 

behind your mask you finally find,  a place where you and truth can hide  and dance about absent gentle grace  in every mouth a rotten taste
