[verse 1] I told a lie all dressed in white. Sarah will not cry tonight. I kissed her softly, spoke of love.  Sarah, she'll sleep sound.

[verse 2] She calls to me within her dream.  I hear her and I hide. For I wish not to see her hurt, should she learn my love's a lie. 

[verse 3] Sarah, love come, come to me run. Run and seek yet never shall you find. For beneath these sheets, there's a secret that I keep,  that speeds the beat within this broken heart of mine.

[chorus] Wonders where I wander to, why in dreams I'm not around. Sweet Sarah, that's where I hold onto, where the love I lost is found.  In lucid station we will play, I'll tend your lonely, hopeless heart. when dormant do my heartache lay, to my true love I'll depart.    [solo]
