Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome back to the Maths twenty podcast with
me Joshua Fox. Today, I am jumping straight into all
of the present day shit that is happening between Jackie
and Ryan, which seemingly escalated a Wednesday when Jackie went
to the police. And before we get into all that,
spoiler alert for anybody completely out the loop. Firstly, have
you been living under a rock? And secondly, Ryan and
(00:21):
Jackie are obviously not together anymore and she's now in
a relationship with Clint the Intruder and is living with
him in Tasmania. Now, back to the drama over the
last couple of weeks. Across her social media. As well
as continually calling out Production, Jackie has also been calling
out Ryan. Now, I'll be honest, she is posting so
(00:41):
much stuff twenty four seven that it's almost impossible to
keep track of everything. But ultimately her main issues appear
to be claiming that Ryan was emotionally abusive and manipulative
to her during their time together. Now, Ryan has consistently
been denying these claims on his social media, sharing text
messages and handwritten letters that Jackie has previously sent him
(01:02):
like in order to dispute her claims he's basically doing this, saying, Hey,
if I was as awful as she's implying, why would
she send me this? Why would she write me this?
That kind of thing, you know. Amongst those messages that
Ryan has been sharing publicly included several WhatsApp screenshots he
posted on Tuesday, which started off with Jackie kind of
expressing her love for him in messages that she sent
(01:22):
during filming to her, then discussing their sex life and
kind of going into a bit of detail about that.
In response to Ryan posting that, Jackie then shared this
statement on Wednesday, FYI, I have filed a police report
against Ryan yesterday after the sensitive private sexual content revenge
He has resorted to, I encourage anyone to disengage with
(01:43):
this content, as nobody deserves to go through this. Thank
you to all the lovely humans reporting him. He is
deleting all comments of people concerned of this nature, but
it's a police matter now. And then, in response to
Jackie posting that, Ryan started to receive negative comments on
his post of the screenshots, with like one fin right
in this, I feel like if you've been accused of abuse,
(02:03):
these kind of posts do not prove your innocence, if anything,
they do the opposite. Ryan then commented back to that
specific person, accusing Jackie of being the one who was
being emotionally manipulative to him during filming, adding that she
would say, oh, these lovely things, then betray me the
next chance she had. Ryan has also since started sharing
pictures of Jackie next to Amber Hurd, who famously accused
(02:25):
her ex husband Johnny Depp of being abusive, and in
response to that, Johnny then accused Amber of defamation. This
obviously then led to a long court battle, with a
jury in Virginia eventually ruling that Johnny had been defamed
by Amber. So essentially, to summarize everything that's going on,
Jackie is accusing Ryan of being emotionally abusive and controlling,
(02:45):
which he strongly denies. Ryan is accusing Jackie of being
emotionally manipulative, which she denies. Jackie found a police report
about him on Wednesday, and this morning I reached out
to Tasmania Police media asking if they had any kind
of statement regarding Jackie's report, as she's now based in
Tazi these days and presumably filed the report there, and
they responded to me saying for legal reasons, we are
(03:08):
unable to comment on individuals. As with any case, if
charges are laid, we issue them proactively to media. So yeah,
that's the lightest. Also, while we're on the subject of
kind of legal issues and all that, Jackie actually said
in an interview earlier this week with Sky News that
she is no longer able to continue her career as
a lawyer since appearing unmarried at First Sight after returning
(03:30):
home from filming the show. She says, I essentially left
my job after I tried to go back to work
because I was mentally distressed and couldn't work. I've been
unable to continue my career. I've been left to fend
for my own Basically, I wasn't mentally capable of performing
my duties because I was under so much mental distress
and trauma. I guess I had post traumatic stress disorder
(03:51):
from the show, and I couldn't function at work. I
just couldn't. My capacity to perform wasn't there. Jackie then
said she doesn't think she'll be able to return to
work for at least two years, and even then it
would require a drastic personal makeover. She said that she
thinks she'll have to change her name and dye her
hair before ever being able to return to a professional
setting to avoid being recognized. So yeah, that's that. That's
(04:15):
