Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, Jordan and Jake, I go good, I'm excited, ready
to go the home stops.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
He throws in a crossfield.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Guess who, George Gross? Here are you?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Panther Hall of Honor remembers Jordan Gross and Jake Dilome.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Jordan and Jake podcast. Finally we're back. Jake, I only
talk to you when we podcast. So this is exceptionally
exciting for me that we had this on the calendar
because I get to see what you've been up to.
My friend.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well, buddy, I'm like you, it's a I think with
our lives right now, it's a uh, we stay pretty
busy and tons of family time and things like that
in the off season.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
But you know what, the draft ride around the corner,
and I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
And you know, Jordan, it's what happened up to Let's see.
Ever since we've probably talked last, we have one less
child in the house. She now has a new last name.
She lives in another state. And Lindsay, my youngest is
graduating high.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
School in Jordan.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
So yeah, they're old. Jake, you are old. That's all
that means.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
I am fifty years young.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Ih, what's it like, Kevin a kid get married.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
It was awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
It's a you know when this her husband like adores
her and worships the ground she walks on and treats
her great. And he's a young gentleman. So it made
it pretty easy to be quite honest.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Is that because you had one of those meetings with
a baseball bat on your lap or you're like, listen here, son, No,
this is we got to cover a few things and
you went into tough guy Jake mode. No.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I think you could kind of tell pretty quick.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I know, for me, I'm not the smartest guy in
the world, but I could always read body language.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
And and things like that.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I had to know what my guys in the huddle
were doing and seeing they were at mentally, and so yeah,
I could kind of read him pretty quick.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
You could see heat in disguise.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
That well to be going on.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Didn't hide the coverage.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
No, exactly right, Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
No, and then you're gonna graduate one empty nester. So
I predict that a year for now, Jake, you're living
in the Bahamas. You got an ear pierced footflops all
day long, just snowbird like crazy. Does that sound right
at all? No?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
The ear ring.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yes, I mean I'm gonna get multiple earrings.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I would assume that's next on the.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
List from mid life crisis. Just what happened? Yeah, you
know that's great. So well it gives me a midlife
crisis when I think about how many years ago I
was drafted, Jake.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
And that would be twenty two.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah, how about that? What? What in the world? I mean,
you're just going at it day at a time. Everything's good, boom,
let's I got it. I did an interview for this
Charlotte Observer because I was the eighth pick, and I'm
thinking to myself when they're asking me, I'm like, how's
this even relevant? We're talking too over two decades ago
at this point, Jake. And then when you rewind and

(03:10):
you're like, somebody that got drafted twenty two years ahead
of me, was drafted in nineteen eighty one, and I'm
just thinking I wouldn't have though. I would have thought
they were so old, and here we are talking about this.
Stuff brings back a lot of memories. Draft week, for sure,
is coming out.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Oh it's the draft. Okay, we're knocking on the door. Yeah, well,
where were you doing the final within the final week
of the draft. Where was your mindset? Where did you
think you were gonna go? Because you could say, oh,
it didn't matter. You were thinking, this is where I
think I'm going.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
You know, it's funny. It was like mel Kiper was
the guy still then it's been He's been the mel
Kiper has been the draft guru, I think for fifty
years at this point. And he looked the same with
the same awesome hair mel mel Kiper had me. It's
this off memory mel Kiper. I remember I'd always log
in during the season, get on the internet and look

(04:04):
at the big board. If I moved up or down,
you know, it's one point. I remember I was like
third on his big board on mel Kiper's big board
during the season. I think mel Kiper had me going.
Nobody had me going to Carolina Man. Nobody did, and
the Panthers were drafted ninth at the time famous moment
in history. Vikings let the clock run out at seven,

(04:25):
Jaguars hurry and get their pick in, go from eighth
to seventh, get Byron Leftwich, and then the Panthers Don Toner,
thank you, sir, gets the pick in. So the Panthers
went from ninth to eighth and pick me. I thought
I was maybe gonna go to Dallas at fifth. They
drafted Terrence Newman instead, which was a good move. And
then yeah, I didn't think it was gonna be Carolina,

(04:47):
but I thought there was a really good chance I
was gonna be a top eleven pick. Which is not
a bad feeling at all, Jake, when you're going into
draft weekend, No, I.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Must have been a very comforting feeling. So, like, you know,
now they can do these.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
You are thirty visits, so whenever you're you're you're able
to bring thirty guys in, Like I don't even recall, Jordan,
was that even a possibility.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
It was a thing. Yeah, you could do it, And
I don't know what the rules were. A lot guys
same as now, if a guy had like injury history,
uh maybe off the field issues, maybe he had limited
starts and there was more they wanted the teams wanted
to find out about him, they'd go on a lot
of visits.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
You know.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I went down and I was training into the training
facility for the combine, like guys will do. So you
get connected with guys in your draft class. Some of
my Nate Burleson. You know who's the TV star At
this point, he was in my draft class. We trained together.
He went on a ton of visits because he was
like from the bad Areno. I believe the teams didn't
really know what they were getting with him. He went

(05:49):
on a tone. The only one I went on. I
went to Houston. They were picking third. I went down there,
hung out with Charlie Casserlee and uh uh Tom dom
Capers who was the coach then, and they ran me
through some tests and things like that, but not a
lot of that for me and the Carolina man. They
were quiet as could be. I never talked to John

(06:09):
Fox at the draft. I did a quick like speed
dating meeting with them. That was it. Nobody came to
my pro day from Carolina. I mean, it was so
crazy that they were keeping it close to the vest.
And honestly, now you know, twenty two years later, it's
kind of how it seems as well, we're drafting eighth again.
Luke Keickley was Luke was the ninth pick.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I'm gonna look at that. J. C. Horn was the
eighth pick. I think Luke was nine. Yeah, there you go.
Christian was eight. Luke was nine. So there's been you know,
and I'd throw myself in there. There's been some awesome
panther picks right here in this range and segue into
this draft man like man. We could pick at eight

(06:53):
a million, A bunch of places have us pick in
Jalen Walker from Georgia at the eighth pick, which I
know everybody would be excited about. Out do you trade?
Do you you know? I don't see us moving up,
who knows? But do you move down? I mean, it's
an exciting situation we're in, Jake, what are you thinking?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, Jordan, I'm like you, I think, and I think
Dan has addressed this in some of his press conferences. Listen,
we need players, right, I mean, it was a tough
season last year. And yes, that's some excitement the way
Bryce came on to play in the offense, and uh,
the the old lines played from last year in Cuba.

(07:30):
So but we gave up a lot of yarns and
a lot of points on defense. Jordan and I think
we did a really good job so far plugging some
holes and getting some guys in now.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
But we still we still need to add depth and
quality to this roster.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
And we do have some nice picks in this draft,
but there is a big you know, there's there's a
big void between pick eight and I think it's fifty
seven in the second.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Round where we pick again.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
So who's to say somebody doesn't come up want to
trade up.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
And I'm just I'm all over the place with this draft.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I mean, it seems it's a foregone, foregone conclusion. Cam
Ward will be taking first Overaul. But man, where does
shador go? The Jackson dart you're hearing and the whole
Derek Carr situation with the Saints. Anyway, you look at that,
that looks like a messy situation. So what happens there?
And where's that sneaky pick? I don't think anybody thought

(08:25):
the Falcons were gonna take Panics last year where they
took him, signing Kirk Cousins and monstrous deal. So, man,
where does chaos start to happen? And I think we
just set our board up and we just kind of
stay there and we have some guys there they and
you never know, do we answer the phone and somebody
wants to move up and we will gather some more picks.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
I think we're in a good spot.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I think Dan Morgan being at the steering wheel on
this thing.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Man.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I got so much faith in him and his experiences
decision making. Dan's not a panicky kind of guy. I
thought last year was just awesome. We didn't have a
first round pick, and then at the very end of
the first round we get Xavier and like, what an
outstanding acquisition, something that didn't wasn't really on anybody's radar.
It seemed like to do well with that. So I

(09:15):
love the draft day. You know, all the rounds are great.
First round, so much fun. And what's interesting about this year,
so many draft predictions have like the top seven eight
picks exactly the same. Cambore number one, Travis Hunter, number two,
that dual card or number three, Will Campbell, number four,

(09:37):
Mason Graham, number five, Jent which is another thing to
talk about. Number six, you know, the tackle permissuri and
then Jalen Walker, Like that's quite consistent all the way through.
Where are you at? Dacon? Travis Hunter? Okay, so but
he said if I can't play both ways, you know,
and who knows how the context. I just read the headline,

(09:57):
But if I can't play both ways, they and I'm
not playing. You know that's not true. How would you
even get ready, though, Jake? At both ways? Like you know,
how when you show up, whether you're the first round
pick or like you as an undrafted free agent, there
is so much dang football to learn and things to learn.
How do you even play? Think you're gonna be able

(10:18):
to do that? Jake?

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah, Jordan, it's ah, that's all he knows. I think
that's the biggest thing. That's all he knows. And and gosh,
I mean, I don't know if this is a comparison,
because I'm not overly big on the comparisons. Everybody wants
to put a cop while this is so and so
you don't know. But like Jordan, Chris Gamble twenty eighth
pig by US right in the first round.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Gamble went both ways at Ohio State. He played receiver early.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
On in DP and he had tremendous ball skills, and
he brought it over in Carolina hit all the interceptions
he made in that picked sixes and the Hunter guy,
he seems like he's different man. A cornerback with ball
skills is one of the most dangerous individuals in the world.
But the way this kid plays receiver, plays the ball,

(11:07):
and it would be very difficult, I think, to go
both ways. But I think you have to have a
package whatever position you think he needs to be at.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Is it receiver full time? Is it dB full time?
I just still think there's.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
A package that he could play on either side of
the ball. That listen, you keep it fairly simple, but
he's such so effective you want him on the field.
And yes, it would be difficult to go both ways,
but I would not be opposed to having him dabble
a little bit both ways. Have one position that you
think one which is what what do you think.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
You know? Jordan?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
The way he catches the football, I want to see
him on offense, right, But gosh, that guy on defense,
how he attacks the football and he closes to the
football when it's in the air.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I love him at corner man, I really and truly do.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
I just think someone like him he can just attack
it and that that's such a dangerous, dangerous weapon. And
his hips, his mobility, the way he moves, it's he's special, man.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
He is special.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Jake the step up though from a collegiate wide receiver
quarterback combination with just speed, efficiency on routes, ball placement,
double moves, disguising, motioning, all the things that go into that,
the learning curve for a corner, like, yeah, we'll sprinkle

(12:35):
him in there. One one draft mock up said, yeah
they could. The Browns could sprinkle him in there at
corner and high stakes parts of the game. The dude
isn't gonna be able to get enough reps Jake to
be able to count on him in high stakes part
of the games. I don't know, I'm na saying.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
It just seems that's that's.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
My My deal is I am playing him on defense
and I will sprinkle him him on offense, Like I
think you can do.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
That a little more.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah, more that than the other way in my opinion.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Yes, that's where I'm at.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
I want to play him on defense at corner full time,
and then I want to sprinkle him in, sprinkle him
in on offense. That's kind of I've always that's kind
of how I would envision it in my mind.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I love I'm going to change to running back. Obviously,
being in Idaho, Jenti's been a hero in this area
the boys state running back. A lot of people have
him going six to the Raiders, isn't it interesting seeing
a running back move back up to the top of
the draft, top ten, top six kind of guy, Jake,
where that's just been such a watered down Maybe not

(13:45):
watered down, that's not the right word. Just the importance
on that position has been minimized. Look at Derek Henry's
contract he gets. He's at eight million dollars a year,
which is obviously not nothing, but compared to top players
other skill positions, it's just pennies on the dollar. But
now you're going to pick a running back six if

(14:06):
you're the Raiders, according to all the experts. I love
seeing it, Jake, and I would like Barkley got a
bigger contract finally going to going to Philly. I just
I think it's an important position, man, especially you pair that.
Yesterday I talked to our good buddy Travelle Wharton, O
line coach for the Ravens. He just he says what
everybody's saying about developed O lineman being developed in college.

(14:29):
With with transferring and you know, a lot more spread
offense and things like that, it's harder to get old lineman.
I think you get a banger like gent Man. It's
a good pick for the Raiders, and I love seeing
the running backs valued.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
No, I do, and I think you know, listen, make
no mistake about it. Tom Brady is running the Raiders.
I mean everyone knows that. It's it's a it's not
a secret. And all his time in New England, they
had think of the running they had, those those solid
running backs, those third down backs, like, get those guys
the ball. Jindy can do both right. And Saquon, yes,

(15:04):
he has done a tremendous job. But listen, if if
Saquon would have signed back with the Giants last year,
he would not have had that year. The Giants just
don't have the guys up front to block like he
had in Philly.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
It's very simple. They just he wouldn't have had that.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
He excelled in Philly because they had all those pieces
and he's exceptional without a doubt.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Derrick Henry the same way. But I do like Genty.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
I love his physicality, I love his versatility. And the Raiders,
I think Pete Carroll, I think they know, hey, let's
run the football, and I think Tom Brady is echoing that, Hey,
you gotta have a running game. You gotta have a strong,
strong running game. So that's gonna be so interesting to
see where he falls. I think the Jets are a
wild cord man. I just like, yeah, they signed Justin Fields,

(15:52):
but that's a you know, and that's that's a one
year deal, you know that.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Does a quarterback get taken.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
By the Yes?

Speaker 1 (16:00):
I mean, does Shador get taken there? You're not hearing
much about it, but I don't know. I mean, if
they like him and as a guy there, does he
get taken? It's fascinating. I love watching it, especially the
first round Jordan. It's just where the smoke screens are
coming from, and it's lying season. All the teams are

(16:20):
kind of lying right now. Nobody trust anybody, so it's
so fun.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Oh, it's a blast to watch. I'm excited to Colston Lovelin,
Idaho guy who I watch play in high school here
as I've been coaching the tight end from Michigan. He
should be a top pick.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I did not know he was an Idaho guy.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Oh he's in our same division, yeah, good and the
Gooding Senators, well, our same classification. I went and watched
him at a state track meet throw the shot put.
There's all these normal looking dudes from Idaho. Throwing. You know,
the shot putters got a big o' line looking guys,
you know, perfectly fine bodies. Nothing that you're that's turning

(17:02):
your heads. And then this guy gets up there who's six'
five or six six and jacked with no fat at,
all and his arms are like bulging out of his
tracked tank top and he goes and throws the shot
put and gets. Second i'm, like, oh that must be
the kid who's getting recruited by who got recruited By
michigan threat. THERE i, mean, like what an outlier for

(17:23):
who he's around and MANY i know they just love.
Him they're recruiting the kid THAT i have right now
my offensive, linement and their coaches can't say enough About.
Loveland that's the. Spot you. Know you think about our
offense and we've got we've got a ton of tight,
ends but, man those big, bodies and we found that
With Xavier, man those big bodies on. Offense as we

(17:43):
kind of switched to talking about that with this. Draft
any athlete you can get that's big and long and can,
run oh so.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Valuable, Listen i'm not Saying i'm not saying big always,
wins but big and fast and. Powerful they don't just
don't make a, lot, Right, Yeah and you have the,
outlier which Is, steve who wasn't the big you know
WHAT i, mean the tallest. Guy BUT i Mean steve
was a stirty one to ninety, five two hundred, durable you,
know freak. Athlete he just he was what five to

(18:13):
nine five nine and a. Half but, man when you
hit these big guys that can just, move it's.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Those guys are.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Fun.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Man they they're fun when they when you're on your,
side you, know LIKE i just go back To, yeah
we can talk About julius all we want, peppers but
Like Chris, jenkins how big.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
And powerful Was? JENKS i, mean you, know just this, big,
powerful massive.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Man keeping in line with. That so you go down
mock draft that are doing second. Round ESPN's got The
panthers Takeing Ozzie trepedo offensive Tackle Boston college at the
fifty seventh, pick and who, KNOWS i, mean there's so many. Variables.
Whatever this guy's six' eight three. H nine it says

(18:57):
he's Listed at jakes. Six' eight, that's a yeah that's,
like a right is? He too tall that's what's so funny,
too about football like we. Want big guys you just
said it like. Big, always wins, well, hold on now
six eight might, be too tall we. Don't want you
and then you're that guy's going to be getting into
a size where what sport?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Does?

Speaker 3 (19:16):
He play RIGHT but that i mean, Giant six eight, Oh,
my gosh jake an offensive lineman, With that link i'd be, down,
with that.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
YEAH no doubt I Think the joe alt top ten,
pick Last, year the, chargers you, know six' nine and
you know when you when you're a great athlete and
long arms and you have some power, and things like
that it's A that length one i'll tall and also,
the linked arm wise That's a lot of you can

(19:47):
have a, fault with, Your, feet you know Jordan you,
Understand what i'm saying like your feet cannot be, in
the right spot but your arms are so long that
extra push and link get a d n to.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Run around the, quarterback you're exactly right just that enough.
To get a movement that's really, What. IT'S all about
jake I was reading the commanders got some attention because
they took their you're. Talking about prospect visits they bring
them and they. Go to top golf so they bring in
like a bunch of guys quarterbacks or, offensive linemen or

(20:20):
whatever and they. Go, To Top golf obviously dan quinn
and those guys had a, great season last year so, people,
started to think well maybe. They're onto something here what do, You?
Think about that jake the idea being we go to
see these guys kind of, compete against each other get
to know them a little bit outside of the classroom
or outside. Of, An, Interview setting.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah jordan i'm a fan.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
OF putting alphas together i think, there's something.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
ABOUT It You know i and i'm.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
Gonna USE an example so I Participated in the quarterback challenge. A,
Couple of times right, so it's eight quarterbacks and you
would like to think the egos are not small in
those eight. Guys that are, there but, just watch you
know how we. Interacted with each other and we.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
Go to a function at night with the, wives and
you know we're having cocktails and you could just, Feel,
sense and like okay there's something about that guy as a,
quiet confidence, about him you know like you just knew
who who was, maybe a little braggadocious a little, more
proud of himself.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Or, the one that okay that's, a dude right there
and that was evident to me doing.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
THOSE type of, THINGS i DON'T know i just i like,
that type of setting that interaction.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
AND things like that i. Think that's pretty.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Cool coaches, probably love it too because it's just that
gets them. Out, of the office yeah these, Kids.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
ARE so, scripted jordan i mean, think about it now
they've been trained ever, since the season ended with, their
workouts and everything.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
But also the interview you have a pretty good idea
what's the question, is going to be how you, going
to answer it.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
And THINGS like THAT so i mean i think a
lot of that is where get them what haven't?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
They've been prepared for let's? See how. THEY act exactly.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
RIGHT i love it i think that kind of out
of the box. Stuff is just outstanding. We didn't cover
this IT'S my last thing i got for. You before
we go. It's been a cup it's been a, month
at least now but you had that big Win, with
your horse jake and it got a. Lot of attention
nationally talk us through that and how much fun. You,
Had That, DAY.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah jordan nillissen i think everyone knows third generation, in
the racehorse business and.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
THAT'S what my passion i don't, hunt, fish and golf right.
That's What we do and.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
I'VE been very blessed i bought a. Horse five years
ago His name Is. Touch upon a star bought him
and he's turned into a. Great racehorse for us he's
been like The best horse in louisiana.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
The last few years, and.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
He's been great, and we you know we have stepped
him Out of competition in louisiana with these grated, horses
so to speak so like we, went to another level
which is in essence kind of like the best, horses
in the world not Just. So restricted To louisiana and
so i've run. It's called graded races i've run in three,

(23:10):
of them so far and he's run second in all
three and run fantastic and has really gained a, lot
of credibility nationwide not just. Inside the state walls and
so the Last weekend At The, fairgrounds in new orleans
it was The Day, of the louisiana derby which is
one of the Final Preps. For the louisiana derby there's
about six five or six Preps Run, throughout the united

(23:32):
states and that's about four to Six Weeks, before the
kentucky derby which is Coming up The. First saturday in
may so those days they, have these big races and
so sure Enough It. Was in new orleans We ran,
in this grade two which is. A very big race
it was A very large person i was, able TO
win it and i was able to beat a horse
By The, name of sierra leone who cost two point

(23:55):
three million as a one year old and who has
made An excess of what fourix four five. Million in
earnings already but he won the greatest race in, the
world Last Year Called, the BREEDERS' cup classic and i
was able to.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Beat him that day my horse was able to go
to the lead.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
And and kick away so it, was a, fantastic day
packed house tons of family there and, it was. An awesome,
awesome day so, yeah long story start that's. Everything, in
a nutshell, wait, That's just awesome man i'm. SO happy
for you i want To Know what's? A jake delone
celebration like when, You're watching, that thing you're, like oh my?

Speaker 1 (24:35):
QUIET during a RACE i kind of I sit BACK
and i just, i kind.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
Of WATCH you.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Know what i mean i'm One of those and i've
always kind of been that. WAY with our horses i
don't get overly excited when. There's nothing that beats when
they're coming, down the lane though, right when you're thinking
it does just an excitement, like watching your. Kid, SO
to speak well i Get, on the lead. Jordan and
there's horse there's, time, than race horses right everything's done

(25:02):
by a final time, where, there's internal Fractions okay and
so i'm very familiar, with the internal fractions and my horse.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Goes, to the lead well the first, fraction was very moderate.
To say the least it.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Was twenty four seconds last year in this race it.
Was twenty two seconds so that's a two second different
and that is ten. Links of a horse one. Second is,
five links so anyway so the. Fractions were very moderate
and then, the half mile fraction same.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Thing was Very, moderate so like jordan. The heart, is pumping.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
I'm, like oh my gosh, everything's GOING my way and
i could just, watch his body language the horse. And
things like that and then when, they're in the turn,
and there's, probably about oh gosh three hundred and, thirty yards,
left about you know two hundred, and fifty yards.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Left so to speak the, jockey on my.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Horse they wear, different, they wear goggles right four or,
five pairs of goggles and as soon as the dirt
kind of piles up on they, pull a pair down,
pull a pair down. And, things like that well my
jockey grabbed all his goggles and just. Yanked them all down, And,
when that happened jordan my heart literally came. Out of,
my chest i'm, like oh my god he. Is loaded
for bear he. Knows nobody's passing me i'm. About ready

(26:13):
kick away and.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
When, he kicked away jordan we started jumping up, and
down and hollering and.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
So was the crowd, is the packed house and he's
a kind, of a, fan favorite the, horse and so
yeah it was a joyful, celebration and very excited.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
