the picture, Shador Sanders, will Campbell, Travis Hunter.

Steelers done it at this point. I assume they have
a quarterback, right, we'll have a quarterback.

Let's say they've done something at wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah, it's like a slate and pickup or something like.

That where they've signed one of the guys that are
going to get released or tree.

Cameron Word, Mason Graham, James Pierce, Michael Williams, Tedoro McMillan,
Malachi Starks, Chavon Revel, Ashton Genty, Tyler Booker, Tyler Warren,

and Matthew Golden are all off the board.

Top defensive I'm gonna break us into defense and offense here.
Top defensive players available Benjamin Morrison, Nick Amwarie, tylerk Williams,
Walter Nolan, Kenneth Grant, John A. Barron, Mike Green is
still there. I don't know if that's going to be now,
but he's there. Trey Amos is still there. So there's

there's a good number of defensive players that I like
that are still on that list. Offensively, you're looking at
Kelvin Banks, Cameron Williams, Josh Simmons, three offensive tackles, Colston Loveland,
Egbuka Arman, Membo, Harold Fannin, Amarion Hampton, Trey Harris, Jaylen Milroe.

I like a defensive I would definitely go a lot more,
especially because the need and you know where they're at,
and they have a receiver of some sort in the mix.
We've got trade offers. I'd say there's three guys I
like quite a bit is Grant and Nolan and Baron
are my favorites, but they're not alone.

Yeah, the Rams are on the phone. They're offering picks
twenty six and ninety for pick twenty one.

nine in something in that second third round as opposed

eighty three, and Upton Stout hit two twenty. We also
got a fourth round pick from the Rams. Yeah, moved
up twenty twenty six. I would take that right now.
Pretty good. It's pretty good. I mean I think like
Betch was a value, Farmer was a value, Belton was
a fact. Yeah, all those guys in that, in that
whole neighborhood, right value picks. And I don't think it's crazy.

I don't think we got like a first round or
in the fourth round because these guys rankings are messed up.
But it fell nicely for us for the names we
like and you know the team needs.

And again you you've addressed your defensive line with two guys,
with two guys. You addressed your secondary with two guys
very different. You've added a wide receiver, as we said
going into this, you've added also added a wide receiver some.

not even be your three right away. And a quarterback
that who knows. Ye I like him, No, I do too. Yeah,
I mean for a late pick, I'd love to stee
him camp and see what happens. And maybe he's a

this last segment, you know, the Saints, they're a disaster.

I think the Browns are the only team in worst shape.
I don't know, who else is on this list, But

at Cam Robinson, Dalton Reisner, Aaron Jones, Harrison Smith, Byron Murphy,

among others that are going.

I like a defensive I would definitely go a lot more,
especially because the need and you know where they're at,
and they have a receiver of some sort in the mix.
We've got trade offers. I'd say there's three guys I
like quite a bit is Grant and Nolan and Baron
are my favorites, but they're not alone.

we always say, there's thirty to fifty other names that
are gonna get cut. Oh that's a big thing.

Melt two or three of those guys, two or three
will get franchised, ten will re sign in the next
month or whatever. Eight maybe.

But these these are the guys who are currently headed
for free. These are not the guys who've been cut
that will.

That'll start coming out here in the next couple of weeks.
We'll start hearing this guy's gonna catch Javon Hargraves not
on this list, but he already said cut him.

There a lot of them, right, but yeah, so it's
going to change. But that's that's an early look at that.

their agents.

This is the Steelers when we look at and when
we say this is why you draft a defensive lineman
and maybe sign a corner. But there's more cornerbacks on
this list than there are defensive at tackles.

Question, no question, Yeah, I don't mind the corner list. Yeah,
and the and the d tackle list. The guys I
like are thirty, right, I mean that's the thing. Do
you want to get older at that position?

Yeah, not really, not really no, at some point you
do have to get younger at that.

Spot than thirty year old. Aren't cheap always a little
more money. Yeah.

Yeah, uh so, honorable mention goes to the Washington Commanders.
They have twenty eight unrestricted free agents. Yeah, that's over
half your team.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
That's an approach Some teams due like the Texans used
to do this when they were really bad, and you
know where they're just one year, one year rentals and
see what sticks. And that's great. You get a lot
of dudes given one hundred and ten percent and all that.
But then you got to figure out twenty eight roster spots. Yeah,
so that'll be interesting a couple of them. And yeah,
this last segment, you know, the Saints, they're a disaster.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
They're fifty four point one million dollars over the cap.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
I think the Browns are the only team in worst shape.
I don't know, who else is on this list, But
the Brown We've got detailed the Brown situation a lot.
They're in hideous shape. I think the Saints are in
the second worst.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
The top six for him. The Vikings are. They have
fifty eight million dollars in cap space. But you're looking
at Cam Robinson, Dalton Reisner, Aaron Jones, Harrison Smith, Byron Murphy,
Stefan Gilmour, Cameron buying them, Jonathan Bullard, Jack Griffin, Jerry Tillery,
among others that are going.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
To be there.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
And oh, by the way, what if they do want
to bring mack Sam Darnold.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
As saying Donald's the thing everyone's talking about. Oh, they
could franchise them trade and black they could. They have
no corners, I don't think under contract. I mean like
their top three or four on a Flores led defense.
And side note, with all their trades, they don't have
any day two picks. Also both safeties and both safeties. Yeah,
that's right, so the whole second of your entire secondary.
(42:36):
I don't know that you can bring Darnald back. I
mean maybe you can restructure Jefferson or something like that
and make some space, but that's a little Harry. They
pushed their chips in for McCarthy. Yeah, at five are
the Jets. They just need so much.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
They have twenty point nine million dollars.
Speaker 3 (42:52):
In cap space, don't have a quarterback. They don't. Did
they make more with Rogers release. Don't believe that they do.
I didn't think so either. Yeah. I think it costs
them money. I think it is dead money.

You got guys like DJ Reed, Javon Kinlaw, Jamie and Sherwood,
Uh Solomon Thomas, Jalen Mills, Hassan Reddick, Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
They both tackled. Yeah, I know they drafted one last
year with it.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
At some point they do have to look at extensions.
This is the problem with you trade Garrett Wilson drafting
all those guys in the same draft classes, which is fantastic.
But Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson and BRICEE.
Speaker 3 (43:27):
Hall, they're they're coming talked about Yeah, I'd like to
get out and Adams won't be back, you.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Know, And are they going to be like, oh, so
this is gonna look really bad next year. I don't
want to be here.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
Yeah, I would say, like the Quinn and Williams of
the world, start looking at it like Miles Garrett and say, dude,
this isn't fun for me. I'm getting up in age.
I went out too.

Yeah, the forty nine ers number four on this list.
They have forty eight dollars in cap space, but they
get to be signed brock Purty, which I think they
will extended. My should say Hafanga, Javon Hargrave, Savarius Ward,
Dre Greenlaw, Isaac Yeidam, Aaron Banks, who's a starting.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Guard for them. We know Hardgrave won't be back. I
know that.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Talking about wanting to get rid of Deebo Samuel like
they're going to clear.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Out some space so they can. Debo is going to go.
Your quarterback's going to go.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
From making about two million dollars a year, he's gonna
make a lot more than that. Oh yeah, yeah, even
if you fifty no matter what you do in terms
of might not kill you this year, right know how
contracts go. But he's still going to cost you more
than two million. It's going to be ten million. Maybe
with the way you you know, but still.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
Trent Williams has been so important to you and he's
can't afford him super old. He's really expensive and he
had off the field tragedies. Maybe just retires, you know,
he didn't play at the end of the year. Three
is the Cowboys. I wouldn't have put them in that pile.
They have a lot of names.

Minus two point eight million dollars, so two point eight
million over the cap because they signed Dak Prescott Ceedee
Lamb in the off season like a Parson.

What's a deal? Yeah, Like people talk about Garrett going there,
I'm like, I don't know how you can afford that.

You got DeMarcus Lawrence, Eric Kendricks, Jordan Lewis, Adiggie Zoo
Wah Zach Martin Martin. Yeah, right, what are you doing
with those guys?

You still probably want to add a back, another receiver,
another pass catcher of some sort a lot on defense.
That's tough one.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
Yeah, the Falcons are eleven million dollars over the cap.
Speaker 3 (45:29):
They pushed their chips in pretty strong this past Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Now cousins will take take care.

Of some of that. Yeah. I think it's a lot
of dead money.

Thought there's be some dead money involved. Justin Simmons, Mike Cues,
Matthew Judon.

The Simmons and Juda moves late in the process or yeah,
pushing your chips into win now that didn't pay off.

It didn't work out. And then you got guys pretty.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Sure they gave up a third round pick for Judea
on two, which, yeah, they don't.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Pitts, London, Tyler Algaeer, what are you doing with him?
Speaker 3 (45:58):
London's the one you want to extend, right, Yeah, and
then number one, worst cap situation. I'm not saying the
Steelers will do it because Arthur Smith, but Pitts could
be a guy that's a sneaky trade candidate. You know
that somebody might be interested in. You know, this one's
kind of Harry.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
The Dolphins eleven point six million dollars over the cap,
Jordan Poyer, Javon Holland, Emmanuel Augba, Kalas Campbell. You have
offenseting safety, offensive lineman Robert Jones, and Liam Mikenberg.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
It's not a great line to begin with.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
It's not a great line, but you're gonna lose a
lot on defense. You can't afford to lose them all.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
To his contract kicks up this year, I think too. Yeah,
a lot of talk with Tyreek being on the move,
it would.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
Make a lot of sense because they're gonna be way
over the cap. They're not winning next year.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
No, I wanted. I'm trying to think who else would
be attractive to other teams? Will give you kap relief.
Jalen Ramsey, maybe Tyreek. Certainly would Armstead be back. He's
almost in the same situation of like Trent Williams when
you need him to be. But I'm sure they don't
want to trade Wattle. But right, how about a year
ago Wattle could be it?
Speaker 2 (47:05):
Yea, you almost can't keep both of those guys. Obviously
you'd rather keep Wattle since he's a younger player.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
But guy, they look like they're going backwards. Yeah, looks
crazy as them and the Jets.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
You pushed all your chips in and didn't get anything
out of it.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
Yeah, the East looks pretty weak all of a sudden. Yeah,
I mean Buffalo. I do only Buffalo is going to
get better, and I think they'll probably be kind of
status quo. But they should run away with the division
next year. You would think, Yeah, the other teams are
bad shape. At least New England's going the right direction.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Jets might be. They might battle Cleveland to be the
worst team.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
Say they're starting to really have that bottom outlook about them. Absolutely,
there's teams like the Saints like that too that are
pretty bleak, pretty winning games this year.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
Yeah, and it's this year now, next year. Now, we're
talking about this season, this upcoming season. Yep, good stuff.
So we're on onto the next one because it matters.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
It all matters. It doesn't matter, It doesn't matter anymore, right,
who cares? It matters, It matters a lot.
