He was featured in the book Friday Night Lights, he was the #2 ranked HS football recruit in the country, and starred at the University of Texas but Rod's journey had plenty of hardship. From a traumatic injury to homelessness, Rod beat the odds. Football is a small part of his story. Rod is thriving and explains how anyone can accomplish what he's achieved.
